A/C quit cooling called Fox Mechanical to come out and inspect the complete system.They found the coil to have a leakThey gave me a price I couldn’t turn down being the problem is in my very small crawl space in the atticI asked when he could start and he replied back with tomorrow I quickly replied do it. Luckily I had two window units stored away and they helped me put them in for the time being and when they were done they helped me remove them. They finished in one day like they said back up and running.Thank you Fox Mechanical

DO NOT USE‼️. Wanted our HVAC unit inspected for selling our home. Paid $250 for a guy in flip flops to come out and ask my husband what we wanted him to write on his report to make our buyers happy. My husband said we needed detailed service inspection to make sure there were no problems. Service tech went up in the attic and stood there, looked around and told my husband everything looks great. As it turned out through another inspection, Fox service guy missed something that cost us our sell. My husband sent an email and text message explaining the issues. He also called other HVAC companies to check on their annual service procedures and fees. Their services included a full inspection and were $100 less. I talked to the owner who defended the flip flop guy and started yelling at me. Refused to talk to me and told me he’d talk to me husband not me. Guess he has a problem with strong women.

We used them in North Richland Hills and they took great care of us and we are now using them in our new house and once again they are taking care of us. Coming out in 11 degree weather getting everything fixed. The only place we will use !!!

DO NOT USE THIS SHADY COMPANY! We had an entire HVAC system install done in August 2020 and ductwork replacement done shortly afterwards because it was all uninsulated metal piping. After the HVAC was installed, our house was 10-11 degrees hotter than the temp setting, which is why we then had the ductwork replaced at the advice of the technician when we called them back out. The ductwork replacement helped, but the house was still about 4-5 degrees hotter than the thermostat, but we just dealt with it. Then this summer (2021), again our house goes back to being 10-12 degrees hotter, so my husband goes into the attic and discovers the terrible job done with the ductwork. There was air leaking pretty bad from connections to the plenum box and at the connections to the register boots, and there were kinked duct lines. They left exposed metal between 6 -12 inches instead of pulling the new insulated ducting all the way to the register boot. Also, the reducers to the plenum box were oversized and not sealed with mastic, which is where a lot of the air leakage was coming from. The most appalling show of how shady they are was the oversized connection at the plenum box which they sealed with tape instead of using a proper reducer (see picture). They had also left a lot of trash in the attic from the ductwork replacement the previous summer (see picture). My husband took pictures and called to have them come out and fix these issues, which was an ordeal in itself trying to actually speak to someone. The customer service woman texted my husband to call WAYNE FOX. We both spoke to him in a three way call, and in that call he told us the pictures looked fine to him and that leaks in the system were normal. He blamed all of our issues on our improperly insulated attic, which I will admit was a part of the issue, but he said it was the total problem, which was a lie. After a lot of back and forth with him on the phone, he finally agreed to send a technician out to correct the issues. When the tech came, he was not prepared to correct the mistakes because Wayne Fox had lied to tech and told him to address one issue instead of them all. The tech did what he could with what he had, and didnt even do a good job with sealing the leaks at the plenum. He used mastic but only did the easily accessible parts and did not seal underneath one of the connections. My husband spent 4 hours in the attic the following weekend correcting mistakes from the previous tech that was sent to fix the issues. With Wayne Fox being so adamant about the soul issue being the insulation (or lack there of), we spent $4,000 getting new insulation installed. We paid an extra $150 TO THE INSULATION INSTALLERS to finish sealing the connections at the plenum, which they were the ones who informed us of the improper reducers used at the plenum and highly suggested we get Fox back out to fix those issues as well. So we did. The same tech was sent again, and again he had been mislead by Wayne Fox and did not have the proper parts to correct the issues. Thankfully he took the time to go buy the parts and fixed the issues at the plenum box connections. When he was doing that, another appalling discovery was made. The techs from 2020 had taped a metal pipe to the register boot when they changed the ducting. As the technician was fixing the connection to the plenum box, the tape came loose and disconnected from the register boot (see picture). My husband called the tech after he had left, which he came back 3 hours later, but my husband had already fixed most of the problem by the time the tech returned. After all of this, our house was still 5 degrees hotter than the temp setting, and then our system stopped blowing cool air and went back to being 10-12 degrees hotter again! We called another company to come out, and the tech discovered the evaporator was frozen (see picture) because the Freon was too low. We spent another $400, but FINALLY, our system is fixed and working right. We will NEVER use FOX MECHANICAL again, and neither should anyone who reads this!

I just installed a Brand New 4-Ton 16 Seer Trane System for an amazing price, they can not be beaten for price and professionalism in the DFW area. The entire process lasted just 4 hours, from 8:30am to 12pm, disassembly of the old units and installation of the new units. They even cleaned up the attic insulation on the floor and hauled off the old AC and Furnace. Highly Recommended! Im glad I chose Fox Mechanical over the others, such an amazing hassle free experience. Thank you from the residence of Birchwood!

They came to install my system I was expecting fox mechanical experts to arrive but they hire sub contractors to do their work cutting corners so they can profit more. So my system stop working the next day and seem they cant find the guys to go back and check the issue its 100° and still no help i advise dont use them you will get scammed!!!

Dont use this guys bad service installation. Guys who go out to install are not licensed. They did a hacked job installing my condenser unit. Look at the crazy 90s on the copper pipe going to the unit. Hack job for sure.

Fox Mechanic has installed two systems for our family not only with very competitive pricing but also great service. The owner Wayne and his team has been our first responders source each time we run into anything with HVAC issues. Their tech Gary recently spent several hours diagnosing and fixing our daughter’s AC problem in response to a service call. Great company and great service. I highly recommend this company.

Eric came out on a Sunday?! He didnt have the updated phone number to call beforehand, so glad I was home. He was fast effient and friendly. Had to pay for service fee ( holiday weekend) and a capacitor. Cheaper than the hotel I was going to book for 2 nights!

When I called to get my a/c fixed, I had to wait till the next day to get a repairman.The repairman found a little dirt on the outside unit then tells me that it voided the warranty. So, he charges me. The very next day the unit breaks again. Now, he telling me that because it’s on the inside it’s not covered. It smells like a ripoff. Also, when I called after 11am yesterday, my call wasn’t returned. I had to call them again the next day and I’m sitting in a hot house. I talked with the owner. He said he was but he didn’t act like any I had met. I wasn’t rude to the service guy. I was angry, because I called yesterday morning and had to call back again because they didn’t return my call. Instead of the guy trying to get an understanding , he jumps on the phone screaming and yelling so much that i didn’t understand a word he said.I will never do business with them again.

Great experience! They came in and installed two units, both inside and outside in 3 hours. Raymond was our salesman and he was a pleasure to work with. He answered all of our questions and even followed up after installation to see how it went. Our installers were Adam and Andrew. They were very efficient and answered any questions as well. I took longer than I should in writing this review, but I am hear to say Raymond did everything he said he would in installing me a unit that I am very happy with. My unit compared to the old one that I had replace beat the unit out 100 to 1. My new unit is very quite when running to when it is running I can hardly tell its on. I love the price that I was given on my unit. Everything was up and running on the day it was installed. The crew was on time and very knowledgeable in setting everything up. I am very happy with my new unit and would recommend this company to anyone interested in purchasing a new unit of any kind. Appreciate your service Raymond.

We live in a rental property and our outside unit went out. Our landlord sent over someone from the property management and the guy destroyed our outdoor unit, causing it to be unrepairable. Luckily we found Fox Mechanical, which was able to not only provide a decent estimate but they were also able to come out the same day to install our new system! It was 100+ outside and we greatly appreciate all the efforts to get our home comfortable again. Also, since the system has been changed and switched to a heat pump, our electric bill went down 20%! We live in Rowlett texas We got our new system december 2020 But we never be happy since then. We always have some issue and we call them. Its very hard to reach them Even though we have 10 year warranty. theyre not willing to help, Can anyone tell me what to do please?

The folks at Fox Mechanical provide excellent service. They responded quickly to my phone call, were able to come to my house the next day to look into our problem, and came back very quickly to make the repairs/install new equipment. They were very professional and courteous, and truly cared about the service they were providing. The prices were very fair as well. Fox Mechanical replaced both my furnace and A/C units, on June 16th. Wayne was the representative and gave me the best quote and warranty, that others couldnt match. Jose and his crew arrived at the house on time and work was completed on the same day. They were very clean and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend to anyone, great company and working crew.

I talked to 4 AC Companies before choosing Fox. Fox had by far the best price and had the product I was looking for in stock. Installation was scheduled for 2 days out - the crew was there first thing in the morning and worked hard all day in the 100+ degree heat to get us up and running. One of the crew slipped in the attic and stepped through our bedroom ceiling. Accidents happen. That was on Thursday. On Saturday a Sheetrock crew showed up and in a few hours had the ceiling repaired perfectly. I am extremely pleased with the value and service I received from Fox and I would highly recommend them for your AC and Heating needs.

Thank you Fox Mechanical! We were without a/c for quite a few months. A few companies come out to provide quotes, but they were quite expensive. The other companies were trying to charge for every little thing, but couldnt explain why we needed certain things. Raymond, from Fox Mechanical came and explained what we needed and what we didnt. He really knew his stuff! As my husband and I reviewed his quote, he was patient. Raymond further explained when we had questions and doubts, because this was going to be a big investment, we had a lot of questions. Two days later, we had our new a/c installed and it was Memorial Day! The install team was respectful of our home and installed quickly. Now were enjoying a cold home!

Horrible Service and do not follow through with warranty. I had 2 new units and all new duct work done. Problems and more problems!!! They fixed the first few issues, but then would not return our phone calls. We had to pay another company over $6,000 to fix the wiring and get parts fixed on the units. DO NOT USE them!!! Wayne will tell you a great price, but never follow through with making sure that the quality of work is delivered.

I purchased a Trane AC unit June of 2020. I almost did not purchase through this company because of a few problema. The company sent Raymond out. I could tell Raymond did not like me asking questions about the longevity of the unit, warranty, the repair process, etc.After a few days went by, I realized, I did not hear from Raymond. So, I called Raymond and Raymond told me that they were going turn down the job and not move forward.I had never heard of this before. Because these were the guys whose quote for the Trane product came in less expensive than 6 other quotes, I had plans on moving forward with them.I then reached out to admin office, and that is when I got my first taste of Lyn. Shes the wife. Boy oh boy, she gave the worst impression of a small business trying to do big things. She was the rudest face of a company I had ever encountered.My message made it to Wade, the owner. He appeared genuinely embarrassed by Raymond’s comments and really encouraged me to try to move forward with the company. Wade is the reason I purchased from Fox Mechanical.On Install day, I met Adam. Professional and an absolutely phenomenal communicator. Before he began, he told me what he was going to do, what the results would be and asked if I had any questions he could answer. He sure felt like comfort to a confused family making a large, expensive appliance purchase.After the install, Adam made sure I had every model and serial number necessary. He even waited as I copied and placed the documents in a sheet protector, occasionally pointing to important messages on the documentDirectly after the Texas winter storm, there was a buzz that everyone should have their major appliances looked after, especially their AC and Heating units.In late February I began reaching out to Fox Mechanical asking, REQuesting and BEGGING to have my unit looked at. Specifically, because of the winter storm. I was literally told NO. Surly, you would think my request was not ODD. The storm had units firing up and down every hour. Damage was inevitable. But still Fox Mechanical refused to come. My hands were tied because any service by any other HVAC company would null and void my warranty.This past June I began reaching out to Lyn...her again. Mind you prior to this reach out, I had been trying to get Lyn to help me get my unit registered. She kept saying she would do it but each time I called Trane...they had nothing. Instead of trying to be solution based, Lyn would just dig in with her smart-aleck comments, Well, I don’t know what you want me to do Well l dont know what to tell youJust a horrible face for a company.So back to the June request to have someone look at my unit, which now was having issues with the drip pan, water, rust etc.Three days in a row, I asked for a technician. She finally responds and says that I need to bear with her because she just had surgery on her knee. Now I can be sympathetic, but what does this personal injury have to do with my 4 months of request to have a service call? NOTHING.Through a promise to report Fox Mechanical/Lyn to their regulating body, I finally got a ticket. Adam would show Monday between 3PM – 5PMAdam phones me with the nicest and most reassuring voice to let me know that he would be coming to look at my unit. He went so far as to listen to my frustrations, acknowledge them and then transitioned to asking me detailed questions about my concern. He stayed in constant contact with me even after Lyn sent him to my street address in a completely different city over an hour away.Adam arrived, and got right to work, hot and tired, he still took the time to point things out to me and answer all of my question. Adam loves his job, he really enjoys being able to make a difference in his customers lives.Adam is the kind of person you want in your corner. You are winning if you have him there. He is detailed, he is kind, he is informative and above all he is professional.

This company installed our new ac in 2019. Josh was our installer and he was great. AC quit working last week - Eric came out and worked on it. It finally cooled down about midnight that night. The next day it was not cooling again - we left a message with Eric and Fox Mechanical. Never heard back from anyone. We left for out of town last Friday and just got back today (Monday) around 2:30 pm. When we got home ac was not working at all. Called and left a message w both Eric (also texted Eric) and Fox Mechanical around 3 pm - it is now 10 pm - it is 88 degrees in our house and we are having to spend the night at a hotel - still have not heard from anyone at Fox Mechanical.

Good price !. The work done by Tito and Adam installing the A / C in my house was very professional, every moment they explained details about what they were doing, very patient and polite. Working with Raymond was exceptional, he knows his job, although I would have liked him to be present the day of the installation for introduce his team.

Out of the 6 different quotes we recieved this was the only company who offered the lowest price and most direct customer care. Next day installation and my service rep Chris and his crew didnt try to upsale like the other companys did. They were honest about what we needed and did a fantastic job.

Saved money going with this company for my new A.C unit. New unit put in in May. Turned the heater on end of October would not heat the house. I called for service left a message got a call back that she would get back with me after the 3rd call the lady told me who put my unit in and would get with him then call me back to set an appointment. Next day I get a text message and call from the service man that he was running late for an appointment I did not set up. I was at work and didnt receive the message till later in the day. I called after work to the office the first time someone answered but I dont think she knew she answered as there was no hello or any profesional answer only to hear her talking to someone. I called the same number no answer but I did leave a message. Waited called again to a different number to hear explanations in whos fault it was and the personal issues with the service tech. She said she would get with someone else to come out and guaranteed she would call by 6pm.... That was yesterday. It is 1:15pm the next day still no call. The parts on my equipment are under warranty.... Yea me but I cant seem to get someone to come di the work. So sometimes saving money is just a joke. So mad right now.

Eric did great job showed up on time was very professional and got my system going quickly very nice person and made sure things was done right. Could not ask for better service from a company.

Technicians called when they were 5 minutes out! Came in and opened and checked the fan motor,which is what I thought was wrong!, then opened up the circuit panel and found the control panel burnt and shorted out .they got the number of the circuit panel and called and found a new one! went to get it and back in less than one hour and one to two hours to swap it out and check then done! Was a little bit more than I expected but I had a rare type of circuit board ( called two different companies both in 50$ of each other) and had an adapter wire harness to ensure it worked hooked it in and I have heat and A/C again!

Lets see...Late Friday AC stopped(seized).Called Fox Mechanical - Raymond Grammer right away...1 HR later he was at my AC unit analyzing the situation.Early Saturday was provided options, answered questions & pricing.Monday 9am, Will arrived & 5 HRs later the new HVAC was blowing - COLD!He never even flinched at my many questions while working!Never would have hoped for the level of response from everyone involved!Late Friday failure seems to be all that caused the Failure-to-Solution to taking more than 24 HRs.Hope this never happens again, BUT am thankful service like this still exists!!!Service - Pricing - Attitude...
