I called Hobson Air conditioning for a AC tune up/cleaning service and they sent out Jonathan to do the service, he did an amazing job and he was very knowledgeable about the job and explained everything he did and why. He was very thorough as well. Couldn’t be happier with his service. Thank you.

At first I only called Comfort Experts to get my heat pump serviced and the price was right.Then Cody showed up and he was so professional in how he serviced our unit. The heat pump looks better than ever and Cody pointed out how we could get even better muse out of our unit.If we decide to get maintenance contract I want Cody to service the heat pump. Thank you so much all of the useful information.

I was told by Comfort Experts to expect my installers between 8:30 and 9:00. I got an email at 9:00 telling me Daniel C was on the way. At 10 he showed up with an assistant. I showed him where the unit was and he asked about the breakers. I showed him the breakers and he argued with me about which ones were correct. I was right. He spent the day listening to music and singing which I was fine with. Finally, about 5:30 he said he was going to test the AC system. It was 60 degrees outside. After 30 minutes I pointed out the Honeywell T4 thermostat was 4 degrees higher than the 64 degrees on my thermometer and asked him to adjust the display temperature and showed him the installation manual. He said it couldnt be changed. I said I would call his office and see if anyone else there knew how to change it. Then it got ugly. I was told Alex, the service mgr, would call me back. After 15 minutes I called again and Laura said there was nothing she could do, they had to let the AC cooling system run for an hour to check it out. I asked again for a manager to get the installers to wrap it up and by then it had been an hour my house was at 64 degrees. After a few more minutes, Daniel C came back in the house and apparently was on the phone with his service mgr who was telling him how to adjust the thermostat. He was arguing with him as well. At this point, I just told him since we were pushing 11 hours I had been tied up with this installation, to do what he needed to do and finish up. So he started arguing with me again saying I had a problem with him as soon as he got there. After more back and forth in more and more heated tones, he finally told his assistant to just shut it off. He left the front door open, the back gate open, the attic stairs down, the light on and blocks he screwed into the attic stairs which prevent me from closing them. NEVER, NEVER, USE THIS COMPANY FOR AN AC INSTALL!!

I had the best experience with comfort experts they sent Nathanial he was extremely knowledgeable professional and he had good recommendations and he got my dryer up and running. Good folks.

The HVAC technician (Cody Brooks) did an outstanding job and displayed excellent courtesy throughout the service. They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient in diagnosing and servicing my equipment. Their attention to detail and customer service skills were top-notch. Comfort Experts installed my generator following the huge Texas winter storm several years ago. Today their rep Mark Dennison came as scheduled to do my annual generator maintenance, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with his professionalism, focus on the details, his explanation of the status and issues that drove my “Red Light” generator warning, and his voluntary willingness to go the extra step to upgrade the Generac battery terminals (corrosion drove the red light system warning) for a much more robust and secure system. Great job Mark!

Nathaniel was very professional and did a great job installing my light fixtures and ceiling fan. Made good recommendations for my home. I really like Comfort Experts because all of the technicians they’ve sent out have been friendly and professional.

We can all agree that having your air conditioner suddenly stop working in the middle of the night is not good. Especially if it’s August in Texas.But help was just a text away, as I reached out to Comfort Experts and they immediately dispatched Jerred to assist — even in spite of the late hour.Jerred tested for and diagnosed the issue quickly, problem-solved it efficiently, and explained each development every step of the way. He was very knowledgeable, and had my system running again before midnight — so I was able to catch a few hours of blissfully air-conditioned sleep.I’m so incredibly glad that I found Comfort Experts — they are on my speed dial in case of emergency, with great customer service!

Nathaniel B. Was my electrical technician today to repair a plug for my garage door. He repaired and added another for us and made sure the garage door worked. Also a plug for my freezer. Very nice and polite, I will ask for him next time.I have been doing business with Comfort Experts for several years and they have always been great.

Jonathan did a great job analyzing my unit and actually found a couple of things my previous server left undone. I contacted my server and they promised to come out and fix the problem. Thanks Johnathan

I typically do not write reviews, but Daniel deserves more than just a thumbs up. This gentleman was not only knowledgeable, but responded to my ASAP service call, when everyone else told me they were too busy. Oh and did I mention HONEST? This gentleman helped me avoid a $4k install AND concluded the fix was actually the cities and not mine! Then lets take it one step further. My daughters room flooded due to a spicket break. The OTHER guy wanted to charge me $9k to fix this...running new pipes, cutting into drywall...oh the list goes on. NOPE...Daniel took on look at it...guess what? Fixed my broken pipe in 15 minutes and charged me less than $500 to do so! Sooooo, if you are not calling Comfort Plumbing to take care of your house repairs, youre probably getting ripped off! Hes my go to moving forward! Thank you Daniel!

Very detail went straight to the problem and fixed it . Was very courteous, kind, and very helpful. I had a Santa Claus box that I was gonna walk up the stairs and put in the Attic and he did it for me.. 5 stars Way to go hobson air for hiring really good employees.

Had a water heater that completely failed. Comfort experts was out the very next day and got me a complete replacement within a matter of a few hours. Adam was very personable and helpful on educating me about the unit and maintenance needed.

Colby did a great job and was very through with his inspection. I had another finally come over and told me I needed 2-3lb of gas in my system which was only 3 years old?! Glad there are honest companies out there!

Jarrod was professional, acourteous, and didnt waste time. He showed me photos of meter readings that warrant some protective devices, but he didnt pressure me to commit. I do have some reservations on the installed pricing of parts that can be purchased online for less than $50. This is no reflection on Jerrod, but maybe a review of pricing is warranted.

Garrett was polite, professional, and thorough. He checked out everything—insight and out—thoroughly. (He was here for almost 3 hours.) He did not fix the issue I had reported, however, but perhaps the unit will have to be replaced in a couple of years in order to do that.

My daughter and son n law financed a unit through them for 2 times the amounts is worth. They were promised many things like warranty, tax break, etc. Not even a year later it quit working. Tech said the part is covered but the labor is $1500. What? My husband owns a business and we are strictly word of mouth. We couldnt handle more work, because he treats the customer right. These guys just want all they can get and dont care about repeat business.

As always they do a fine job. Just wish they could say what time they will be there better. Between 8am and 5pm is not helpful at all.

The sales person was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He explained expertly the qualities of each brand and the difference between them. Once we settled on the one we wanted he completed the sale but had a difficult time getting the copy machine to print our receipt. He finally gave up saying he would email it to us once he was able to print it out. As of this moment we have still not received one. It is my hope that if the selection we made doesnt work out we wont have problem exchanging it for another as he verbally stated we would have the right to do.

Comfort Experts is absolutely awesome. Tyler L came out to check for my electrical outlet issue. Within minutes of doing a quick walk around the house, he identified the issue and fixed it. He was done in 10 minutes. After that he actually called the plumber that was scheduled to come and do some work after him the same day, and had him reach out to me and explain the costs, so I could choose to cancel the appointment so as not to be charged the service Fee.I truly appreciate the honesty and professional of Comfort Experts Inc. they are well trained and upfront and not just trying to make money off you. I recently had the pleasure of receiving my biannual checkup from a Comfort Experts technician named Daniel. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and expertise. He demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of my system, which was also installed by Comfort Experts. Daniel went above and beyond by providing valuable advice on how to extend the lifespan of my system. I would like to request Daniel for all future checkups, as he was exceptionally thorough and patient in answering my childrens numerous questions.

I don’t do these reviews most of the time because there’s never really any thing to say about the service from you company you rely on to keep your equipment operating. But now is my chance to say I had the best technician from Comfort Experts I’ve ever had in 25 years I’ll been partners with a company. You find it weird I say partners with the company? Mike D diagnosed it was low on freon was low and spent 3 hours working on finding the problem. I felt he really cared about Finding and fixing the issue with the unit they installed. I would give Mike D a 10 on all aspects of has drive to solve and help and work with his company to reduce the cost of the repair. Thanks Mike

When my A/C went out Garrett came by 10:30pm explained the issue thorough and fixed it. They will be my go to company for A/C repairs.

Even though I decided to go forward with the other service company he gave me several good reasons why I should consider their membership program. Mark was great. He was professional and very knowledgeable. He answered questions and made sure that everything was covered. The issues I have are with the process. My appointment was scheduled between 10am and 5pm which I feel is too big a window especially since I have had a monthly membership for several years. I confirmed the appointment the day before but did not hear from anyone until I called at 2:50 pm to check on the status. I was told that they would call when the technician was 1 1/2 hours from arrival. Not very helpful since it was all ready almost 2 hours from the end of the appointment window. I next heard from the scheduling agent at 3:10, 4:08, 4:21, 5:08 and continued to confirm the appointment. Mark finally arrived at 6:21. Well after the 5pm deadline . I would hope this situation is not normal since the spring and summer is fast approaching.

Justin came out and repaired my unit. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He got us up in running quickly! Justin shared some best practices on how to care for my unit and shared information about a maintenance package the comatose offers. Thanks Justin! And try to stay cool!

Following Garretts and Angels visit and identification of the HVAC problem, Comfort Experts Ryan and Joe managed to retrofit a new Carrier-provided coil into our 2-year-old (under) warranty) Carrier system in a timely and efficient manner. (Evidently, Carrier neither inventories nor manufactures its warranty parts very long!). Ryan kept us informed every step of the way and we are very grateful for his and Joes time and dedication to helping us in a very stressful situation during these high Texas summer temps. Thank you both!

Justin did a great work tuning up my 2 AC units. He was very professional and had a great attitude.

We are adding excellent service by Tyler Lawyer, electrician from same company. Woohoo to service! Alec Gibbs was professional and respectful. I appreciated his educational (versus old school sales) conversations. In the end, we did have to have some additional work done, but it is needed and I didnt feel pressured. His apt time window was on point. I have been with this company for years and have always loved the customer service we received from all staff, including Lisa Maddux.

Colby is an outstanding technician. When he arrived it was 63 degrees in our home because the heating had been out for 12 hours within 90 minutes he determined and resolved the issue. And thanks to his advise to purchased the monthly plan during our annual tune-up the service call was covered at no additional cost!!! Fast with great customer service. we were his last service call for the night (12 degrees night). Life and pipe saver!!

Nathaniel was the technician who came to our home, he was friendly and answered any questions I had. It was a pleasure talking with him. After checking everything it was determined that everything currently is in good order. He did however gave me a few things to keep and eye on and look into upgrading. I could not be more pleased with the professional service that we received.

Hunter was very thorough and polite and professional. He is the one I want to you guys to send me every time I need services. Hunter and Alex were both professional and helpful. I would not recommend the company to anyone. We got the runaround from the customer service department are part was not ordered and no phone calls from the company no apologies and blame was being directed to the wrong person. Mike walked me through the issue he found with our system in laymen’s terms and suggested recommended options. Mike is another example of the high quality and knowledgeable people employed in the field by Comfort Experts.

From the first check of my A/C system to the replacement of my system I was very satisfied. I felt like they were straight with me, and Don gave my wife and I great advise. They took the day to do the job right and make sure everything was correct. This was a sales call that was paid for by me. Pictures of how bad my units are and poor condition even though my units are only 10 years old and maintained every year. I was told this was a preventative maintenance call and I dont see any proof of preventative maintenance that I paid for. No lubing, cleaning, etc. Total waste of $100 I want that refunded and reporting to the BBB. Sad that this company was once known for ethics. I dont blame the tech. He was a great guy and veteran I feel bad that they have the techs out selling. I will be getting a second opinion for sure. I never complain just check my reviews and I asked specifically when I booked this what they would be maintaining and they read off a list that I cant see any proof that was done.

Michael is knowledgeable and kind. However, I don’t believe we will continue the program. My home maintenance plan will cover all but $75. This program cost us $239 to tighten up bolts and add an additional bolt to sturdy the unit. To pay for a service with a monthly payment and still pay what we did is not budget wise.

I’m always skeptical when an any repair tech comes out, due to feeling like I’m always being up charged or sold something I don’t need. This was not the case with HVAC Tech Mike Robles. He’s was very thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. I appreciate that greatly and will for sure be a long time customer because of it. Thanks for looking out for myself and family Mike!

I had a problem with my Heat blowing cold air. Comfort Experts was the third company that came out to assess the problem. They were the only one to really provide a diagnosis that sounded reasonable. Ian was awesome.The first company was Lightfoot Mechanical and they wanted 6,900 to fix my issue. They told me the problem after I told them what was wrong. They did provide an estimate to replace a solenoid for 1,110.00. This is the discounted rate I get for being on a maintenance plan. Would not recommend.The second company was Stark and they just wanted to give me a price to replace my equipment after bad mouthing the first company. They spent a lot of time doing nothing. Would not recommend them either.After the two companies came out I ended up with an additional issue, now the cold was blowing heat. Im not sure which company messed up the wiring.However, Ian from Comfort Experts was able to do the repair and it was not the problem that Stark or Lightfoot wanted to repair. Ian spent time diagnosing the problem and then proposed a fix. A fix that cost $500.00 which I was not thrilled with but at that point it was sounding good. I told Ian as happy as I was, I would not write this up until my equipment stayed up and running for at least two weeks. I have both heat and air working. He did make some other recommendations but at this time I just wanted my initial issue addressed.It is so disappointing having to deal with companies who only see $$ signs which is how I feel about Lightfoot and Stark. The companies look at the age of your equipment and want to immediately sell you a new system vs repairing what you have. I realize there is a lot more profit in a new system but sometimes a customer just needs a repair to limp along temporarily.

Blake did the AC & Furnace tuneup today. He did clean the outside AC unit coil. He is very knowledgeable with product and very through to explain all details. I will definitely recommend Comfort Services

We have used Hobson AC/Comfort Experts for while now and Colby Finch was the best yet. He took his time to figure out the noise issue we were having instead of saying, I have no idea why that noise is happening. Top notch customer service. We will definitely request him as our technician when we have another service call. Thank you!

AC went out on Sunday night. They were there next morning. Diagnosed issue, new unit installed on Tuesday!!!! Very professional and sent updated text messages through the day explaining when technician would arrive with a photo and information. Very safe company to have in your home.Our installation team was absolutely incredible!!! Very efficient duo and very respectful with everything including our animals that couldnt leave the house! I would have these two over to house sit!! Couldnt have asked for better service hands down!!!

Today was the first day of service with Comfort Experts, the technician was on time, well dressed, and outlined the services he intended to provide, meaning I didnt have to go through my list. Servicrs were completed in a resonable time and he provided a list of recommended services for my review. Based on today, I would recommend Comfort Experts, Inc.

Blake was the tech dispatched to my house. He was both technically proficient and customer service oriented. His level of knowledge and his ability to explain his findings and relay the things I need to do was extremely helpful to me. The written diagnostic of his findings is extremely useful for submission to my warranty company. Blake has serviced my unit before and I can’t overstate my comfort and trust in the company because of his service. The company is veteran friendly as well. The overall visit was great.

I have been using the contractor that put the unit in the home. I found out I have been paying double for my maintenance contract. I am receiving greater benefits and services for the same price that includes a 30% discount on Service Fee/ Repairs & / Accessories. Trust me I was not receiving any type of discount with the other company. I say good riddance and Hello Comfort Experts where have you been the last four years.Today I had Hobson back out because my electric bill has almost doubled since my 21 year old nephew moved in with his computer and gaming systems. They throughly looked at all my key systems to no avail but did not leave without a suggestion. They were great.I had Comfort Experts/Hobson out today for my semi-annual service and in Comfort Experts/Hobsons style they did an outstanding job, took their time and took pictures of all key components. Cody even waxed the exterior of my outdoor unit after making the inside of the same unit shine also. This team is worth every penny (and they arent that expensive when compared to their competitors). Keep up the great work. I love you guys and gals. Great service all the way around.

I would give 0 star if I could.Exercise caution when considering this company for their services. I encountered a minor problem with the controller board, and their technician advised me to replace the entire system, quoting a cost of $10,000. However, upon seeking a second opinion from a different company, they resolved the issue by simply replacing the board for $200, and now everything functions perfectly.

So far so good, had a little trouble getting them back in contact with me, the weeks after my initial consultation, but they rated fairly well and answered all my questions. I think the finance option will get me the most bang for my buck in the end. Plus they were on site and done a day after making my decision.

Excellent ServiceAlec G, with Comfort Experts, gets an excellent review from me because he took his time to find the source of the leak from our a/c unit and applied a patch to stop the leak. He explained what steps were to be taken next if, for whatever reason, the patch didn’t hold. He treated us with respect and courtesy. If I had received a link to rate Mike R with comfort experts, however, this review would not have been excellent.

We have been using Comfort Experts services for years. The quality of their technicians work, as well as their knowledge and professionalism has always impressed us. Their customer service and responsiveness to emergency calls however leave a lot to be desired.

Colby is very helpful and he saved us nearly 2000 by catching a malfunction in our heating system and by removing some old duct tape that made contact with our heating strips causing it to short out. He found it and corrected it rather than charging me for a new heating strip package.

Wyatt and partner cleaned the blower inside, checked everything else, then cleaned out the leaves from outside unit and showed me pics of everything. They both were courteous to use shoe covers any time they entered my home, which I greatly appreciate. They had nice clean uniforms and were very polite throughout the visit. They provided me with the suggested repairs and were prompt to send those to my via email.

Tyler was very efficient and knowledgeable. He let me know what he was doing and why. Very pleasant. He came the next day (on his day off) to put a breaker in so that I would be more comfortable.

Wyatt C was professional and very informative. He worked and explained everything he was doing. When his work was finished he spent considerable time answering each question we asked til we were satisfied which isnt always easy. We were very pleased with the appointment.

The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. However, i feel it was a waste of money and time as I have R22 and I was unable to get any Freon in my system as the company did not have the required Freon available. So truth be told I threw $80 out of the window!

The team showed up to install my new air handler where some of the most professional team Ive ever dealt with. They came in, explained what they would be doing and went straight to work. Once they completed their work they explained what they had installed and documented the process with photos. I could not be more pleased with the Comfort Experts team.

The Company needs to understand that some customers are annoyed and can be offended by upselling during a service. visit. We called for service, we didnt want a sales pitch as well.

Blake replaced a motor, he showed concern that our AC was not working and luckily had the motor needed in his truck. He was verry humble when offering him drinks 😊 At first, when he mentioned that it would take around 4 hours to replace, I was already making plans for other sleeping arrangements thinking we would have to schedule it. I was surprised when he said oh no I can do it today. He spent 5 hours in our hot as hell attic taking care of the repair. Thank you so very much Blake hope to see you on our fall tune up.

Ryan Schmuhl was the technician who came to my home to service 3 heating and air units. I was very surprised and pleased at how professional and curteous he was. He explained ahead what he would be doing inside and outside each unit. Upon completion, he explained the capacity and output flow of each unit and what might need to be done in the future to keep the units running properly. He was very knowledgeable about heating and air systems. He was respectful of my property and left no mess.I was prepared for the usual mess technicians make in my house. I always dread broken items and trying to be pressured for upsales by technicians--this did not happen. I will definitely use this company in the future, and will request Ryan as the technician. I give the company 5 stars because of the service I received from him.

My mom discovered that her AC went out when she returned from vacation. Comfort Experts came out on a Saturday night to repair her AC. Shes 86 years old so getting the AC repaired that day was a must. The problem was fixed, and the technician was very professional.

Great experience. This is the second time I’ve used Comfort Experts to inspect our HVAC unit using one of their “specials.” Casey was fantastic- personable, knowledgeable and professional. Replaced a part we figured we needed done from our last inspection. At a reasonable rate. Very pleased, and would contact them in a heartbeat if needed for an emergency repair.

We had a new system installed over 1 week ago, but something wasnt quite right as the blower never shut off. We thought it was maybe the thermostat. Derek arrived and checked everything thoroughly, inside and out. He discovered the root of the problem and repaired it, explaining to us all that he did and why. We were very pleased with him and his work.

Mark came out to do my annual plumbing inspection. He was very polite and seemed very knowledgeable. However, for me, after having experienced no problems whatsoever with my hot water heater or water pressure, right in the middle of the plumbing inspection all my hot water pressure to my house shut off. In all fairness, my heater was 17 years old but worked perfectly prior to the inspection. I was told It was a coincidence that the heater stopped during the middle of the inspection and what caused it was water sediment that had built up in the tank over the years. The sediment part sounded logical but not so much the timing. Having a second and third inspection I was told what damaged the water heater was the water valve being shut off during the inspection. A hot water heater that old shouldnt ever have the valve turned off. I was also told by the plumber who installed my new hot water heater, surprisingly there was hardly any sediment in the tank because appearantly the water supply here didnt have a lot of calcium which causes the sediment build up. No more inspections for me.

Ian Conrad was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and experienced in assessing my AC issues. No hype or trying to sell me something I didnt need.

Mike is an excellent plumber; recommend him highly. Unfortunately, I am not so sure about the whole house water filter he installed. Very expensive & the water stays cloudy & is less drinkable than before. So, currently I’m troubled; not sure what to think.
