He arrived on time and was incredibly fast and efficient. I especially appreciated the detailed report he provided, highlighting areas for improvement. It showed me that they really care about their customers and the quality of their work. Scott was also friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend 1st Choice Air Solutions for any HVAC needs!

Would not recommend, they are scammers. Promise what happened is they seen my house and though oh they have money... Gave some great information on exactly what the issue was but it was going to take a days work to fix, but really, they just recommend I buy something bigger/better. I decided to hold to get some quotes. Not only was the exact same unit from 1st choice about 4 times more expensive but I had another company come out to give a look and in less than 10 minutes they fixed the issue 1st choice said was impossible without a days worth of labor(@$1300).Theres a reason I didnt use my info and thats so you wouldnt text/call me more than you already are since I havent called to purchase the new unit.

Very happy with our result with 1st Choice. We called due to a plumbing issue in our home. They were able to come out the same day AND fix the problem the same day at a reasonable price. Cole was a fantastic plumber and was very kind. If we ever have another issue again we will be calling them. Thank you 1st Choice for helping us!!

We had 1st Choice Plumbing and air install 3 new AC units in our house. From the very first technician that came to our house to the sales person who sold us the units and the crews that installed the units and then the follow up technician that came months later for the inspection have been of the highest quality people I have ever met!! whoever is running this company has created one of the most professional and customer first business that I have ever dealt with. Carmelo visited us yesterday to complete our fall/winter maintenance service and he was fantastic, as is everyone part of the 1st Choice team. We honestly couldn’t have selected a better service provider for our heating and air needs. Carmelo was very knowledgeable and walked us through everything he checked on as part of our maintenance service. If there is a “special request” button, we will likely request him come spring/summer. You will not be disappointed if you select 1st Choice for your plumbing, heating or air needs.

The technician was knowledgeable and explained the positive and negative things that he found during his inspection. He had pictures to illustrate what he found. He explained what the cost would be to make the suggested repairs. I was very pleased with the whole experience. I would gladly recommend 1st Choice to family and friends.

Adrian was professional and efficient. He was quick on the turnaround to get us estimated we had asked for. He kind and patient with our small dogs who barked at him a little.

Dustin and Ethan are wonderful working with, until they are satisfied with the work they don’t say they finished the work. If they think everything looks good, then only they sign off. If you are doing a work and if you seem satisfactory of the work then the work done by you is good and this is what I observed with 2 of these folks. I recommend working with them. They have worked on my warranty request on my home’s HVAC.

I had one year inspection of AC, Dustin Smith is a great technician. He was polite and clearly explained the issues with the HVAC system and given tips on maintenance. He took time and did a great job fixing the improper wiring done by previous technician. He is highly knowledgeable and conducted himself with the utmost professionalism throughout our interaction, leaving me thoroughly impressed.

Dustin Smith and Brandon have been very helpful in getting an HVAC issue we had with our new build resolved. They gave us a reasonable quote, and Dustin was able to walk me through how the job would be complete, using his expertise to explain it well. They have both been helpful and pleasant to work with, with Brandon even communicating with me while he was off work.

After getting several estimates for HVAC evaporator coil replacement, I selected 1st Choice. They were much less than the others. Alan was the technician who performed the coil install. While performing the install he answered several questions I had about my system. He seemed very knowledgeable. My experience during this repair was good. I even started the annual service agreement to check my system twice a year. It is fairly inexpensive and necessary I feel in Texas.I would ALWAYS recommend multiple estimates from different HVAC companies. Be aware some are still owned and operated by family and others are owned by large investment companies, this can make a difference I feel. Something to ask.

The service was as advertised. The tech was well informed in his trade and very personable. He gave informative explanations of all the actions he took on my HVAC. I will definitely be signing a service agreement with this very professional business.

They were great! Knocked out all the maintenance and repair same day. They even took time to explain what may have happened, and showed me how to prevent in the future. The technician, Alan, was very knowledgeable about the issues he found in our heating/air conditioning units. He checked the various electrical systems and cleaned areas that needed cleaning. Afterwards, he explained the various areas that needed repairs and gave me options and prices for them. I’m very pleased with his work and willingness to answer my questions.

Josh is a great technician. He’s overall expertise and his demeanor are excellent. The only issue that I have is the timeliness of the appointment. They seem to arrive around 45 minutes late to appointment but other than that it was a great experience.

All of the techs and reps were professional and courteous. My install didn’t go as smooth as it could have but they 100% stand behind the product and the install to make sure it’s working how it should.

The office was able to get us scheduled ASAP and we received updates regarding the techs arrival time as requested to ensure we would be home. They took their time to identify the issues with my air conditioning unit. Very authentic and honest vibes from these guys. I am single women whos been dealing with American home shields bottom of the barrel technicians for over 3 weeks. What a breath of fresh air that Robby and George were. The level professionalism was night and day compared what American Home shields techs. I feel like they earned every penny of my service call fee.Thanks for a great experience guys.

I originally had this company come out and top off my ac unit that was low. I went ahead and bought their maintenance membership. The next year my air conditioner was cooling well so I wanted to find out where the leak was. Yhe first apointment the guy had a leak detector but couldnt do the outside because it rained. The 2nd apt they sent someone out that didnt have a leak detector only soap and water and couldnt detect a leak. I was told someone would contact me for a 3rd apt but it never happened. I prefer a more reliable company.

Scott did a great amazing job on our annual pre-winter check after 1st Choice did a system replacement for us last summer. Scott was courteous, respectful, and took great care with our home. He answered all my questions and was great to work with. Nothing but great things to say about Scott and our experiences with 1st Choice.

After getting Andrew to understand i had done this work and showed where the leak would be we found it right where I had already started to dig. We dug some more and for sure it was right where I said. He did fix the leak but the cost was VERY high for the work done. We filled the hole so no one would fall in and I finished it up two days later. He was here for only 2 hours.

I was told tech would be there at 11:00. Then it was changed to 12:00. Technician arrived about 12:40. He fixed problem, but did not do complete check of system. Afterwards I found out he added himself a $9 tip, that i didnt approve.I got my heater working, but not satisfied with service Technician.

Worst emergency service from 1st choice heating and Air solutions. one of on call executive told me that there were no one available and our crew will come tomorrow morning at 9am when I report the water leak at attic and damaging the wood. Never ever choose 1st choice heating & air solutions

We had an overall great experience! Had to change out all 3 air handlers in my home so I brought in 3 companies for their opinions and 1st choice was one of them. From the start they were really great in the process. I have a very high expectation when it comes to service and Mickey, the comfort consultant, was gracious in walking me through the options and thorough in his assessment of what needed to be done.They had 2 install crews and they were amazing. Robert and Miguel were the lead techs. I had a lot of questions and they were willing to stop and answer each and every one with kindness.Dane, the sales manager, actually came out and spent time on site the day of the install as well to ensure I was pleased with how everything was going.HVAC decisions are huge ones and so I chose to go with a company that I felt would pursue excellence in execution and deliver great service. I found that with 1st Choice!

The guys did a great job. Could’ve been a weeeeee bit cheaper if I’m being honest. But you get what you pay for right? They were there quickly, fixed it quickly, and were very nice. I’d recommend them for sure.

What a great company to work with, my neighbor recommended we use them when our system stopped blowing cold air. Rafael came out first thing in the morning and got straight to work. He found the problem failry quickly (see photo), wild stuff. He made his recommendations and then i approved the work! Attention to detail was great with shoe coverings, and took photos of needed to be addressed in the future.Professional, timely, tidy, great attitude, and respectful! Will use in the future again! Neither do studies conclusively demonstrate that particle (e.g., dust) levels in homes increase because of dirty air ducts. This is because much of the dirt in air ducts adheres to duct surfaces and does not necessarily enter the living space. It is important to keep in mind that dirty air ducts are only one of many possible sources of particles that are present in homes. Pollutants that enter the home both from outdoors and indoor activities such as cooking, cleaning, smoking, or just moving around can cause greater exposure to contaminants than dirty air ducts. Moreover, there is no evidence that a light amount of household dust or other particulate matter in air ducts poses any risk to your health.”National Institute of Health (NIH), Division of Occupational Health and Human Safety (DOHS), “It is important to remember:1. We had become accustomed to a certain technician with 1st Choice Air who no longer works for the company. He took great care of us.So, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this visit. I was having my winter system check up done. George was the technician who came out, and he was very polite, respectful, and thorough with his inspection and review with me. I appreciated his honesty and desire to make sure that my systems were running at their best.We will continue working with 1st Choice Air and George!

I do not recommend this company. Bobby, the service manager, and the tech that tried to railroad my wife were both at my house for a follow up to the debacle that was the initial service call - and they were not honest or humble (or very professional in the end) in my dealings with them.Initially, the company sent a young and inexperienced apprentice and a trainee to troubleshoot my AC issue, who just happened to (snap) diagnose it as one of the most costly fixes (zone control board)...and after he replaced it (with a different and more expensive and unnecessary model without telling us this), suddenly a breaker was bad too (which was not bad before they came).Turns out that the company charges a fixed price of $328 for this breaker that you can buy retail online for about $60-70...Bobby told me that the company sets these prices and it is what it is, deal with it (Im paraphrasing, but not much). And they couldnt understand why I didnt trust them...this is after the tech told my wife on the initial service call that the zone control board was around $1,500, and then came with a quote for $700-something to replace it.BTW: The zone control board we need is $100 on Amazon...$600+ for markup and a 15 min install? Unacceptable. Dishonest.Also: the tech tried to charge us over $120 to rewire mis-wired thermostat, for moving the heat conductor (white wire) from w to w2...we do not have a two stage system. So...$120 to mis-wire a correctly wired thermostat that was working for a year since we bought the house (and who knows how long before that) as it was. Later the tech said it may have worked that way, but its still wrong...so we were charged $120 for his opinion about another way that will work...to fix a non-issue.After all is said and done, Im out $99 for the service fee, and still no closer to having my AC repaired. Likely farther.By the way, the breaker is fine. I turned it on when I got home and its holding and it gets voltage through it. So they tried to charge me $328 for a bogus repair.

1st choice plumbing did a great job. I had a clogged kitchen sink. They sent Josh Aaron out to fix it & he did a great job. He was very professional & very courteous. I will definitely use them again & will recommend to friends & family.

Dustin was phenomenal!!! He came to my house to address a torn duct and insulation on a/c drain and went above and beyond to address other issues he noticed without being asked. He checked my a/c unit while in the attic and noticed the flow of my a/c unit was not correct. My unit is a 4 ton unit but was set for 5 tons. He also moved some cords that were running on top of the unit and also discussed settings I could use on my ecobee thermostat to make my unit run more efficiently. He is a Rock Star and great asset to the company!

He was an awesome technician. He was very knowledgeable, great customer service and did a fabulous job making sure our units were in good working condition!!! I love this company and technicians they’re all awesome!!! 100% recommend plus their not in it for the money, prices are fair and they’ll present you with the best alternative!!! Plus having the service plan definitely helps especially here in Texas where we have to have ac up and running and we get some cold spells.

Our A/C went out on Labor Day, of course it had to be a holiday! 1st choice was very quick about getting out to us, getting the problem diagnosed, and fixed in the same visit. I also am pregnant and unfortunately had Covid they were very respectful and accommodating to me, my family, and the tech who came out to our house. Meeting outside, taking payment over the phone, and just the willingness to help knowing I was miserable! Will definitely be using them again for future needs!

So I had a number for Brandon who is one of the managers so we called. Lo and behold a service technician showed up in less than an hour.This was exceptional considering the evening time and the night before a holiday. My hat is off to 1st Choice!!!

This was my first time with 1st. Choice, but it wont be my last. From the moment I called to make an appointment, the people with whom I spoke were polite, helpful and accommodating. George, the technician, showed up right on time (a genuine rarity these day), and after learning my AC problem went right to work on it. After a thorough inspection and assessment, George was able to tell me (in uncomplicated language) what seemed to be contributing to the the problem. The picture he took also helped .He let me know what what could be done now, what might be considered at some time in the future, and what might never need to be done. He answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction, and at no time was he ever aggressively trying to sell me anything. He made the adjustments and repairs I requested, and as I writ this, I notice a coolness that wasnt here at this hour the day before.

I always get great service from 1st Choice! My ac has broken down at the most inconvenient times and they will come out late on a Friday night to fix it! The guys really know their stuff and explain the maintenance needs and their recommendations and in easy ways for me to understand. Recently we had a great tune up service from Robbie and George. I definitely recommend this business.

Have an older home and needed some help with a few things and 1st Choice was on top of it. Robby, Maxwell, and Ronnie all showed to fix multiple problems and were first class the entire time here. I came home from being away for two weeks on business, to find one of my air conditioners not working at all. I had to turn around and fly back out again and called 1st Choice Air Solutions. They understood my time restriction and promptly sent a tech out. My tech was George Miser. He inspected the units and found the blower was out.He got on the horn and did everything he was supposed to do, located the parts and returned the same day to complete the work. It was almost 10 pm when he left! Thank you George and thank you 1st Choice Air Solutions for going above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of! Definitely a return customer.

We just had our home built a year ago, and of course the AC decides not to blow cold air RIGHT as the warranty expires on labor with Airtron. After finally getting a hold of them, we were told they only service our home if we have a membership ($25/month), but it didn’t cover labor. So I decided to look up reviews and call around.1st Choice popped up and they were available to come out immediately so 5/5 on fast service. Price-wise: I have a feeling we are paying more but we didn’t want to play around anymore since it’s already 90 degrees and the ac isn’t working. We needed a fast solution.Riley came out and diagnosed the problem quickly, the TXV needed replacement. The part was covered under Carrier warranty, not the labor as is the case many places. Riley recommended two other parts be replaced to extend the life of the unit. He wrote down three quotes, the basic “get it fixed and go” price was $800. The middle was just replacing one of the recommended parts plus the TXV plus a maintenance plan, $1300. And the highest was $1500 replacing all recommended parts plus the TXV and maintenance plan. The maintenance plan doesn’t cover labor (as the pattern goes!) which is $60 each time they come out which is twice a year for unit maintenance.Our problem is the actual part needed to fix the AC isn’t something they carry and needed to be ordered. So for now we have no air, not sure if we’re paying for a hotel or what at this point. We’re just HOPING the part comes in fast so we can go about our lives.Maybe this reviews helps someone because you’re going to end up paying that labor cost either way. Anything HVAC is most likely expensive in the first place though because of the tools needed to diagnose and perform. But at least with 1st Choice I feel like the quality of work is top notch! Riley is a quality technician both friendly and efficient.

They are wonderful! Excellent pre appointment and post appointment communication. Josh, the service tech was excellent! He explained everything step by step, wrote on the system the date of install for future reference, and cleaned up afterwards like he hadnt even been there. All in all great experience.

We had a 9am appointment on Monday and our technician, George Miser, and his helper, Alan, arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time. This was great since our A/C had stopped working late Saturday and it was going to be over 100 degrees outside. George and Alan were professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem, a capacitor, very quickly and told us. The part was still under mfg warranty so all we were charged was for the service call and the labor to replace the part. When they were done replacing the part, they checked out the A/C to make sure it was working properly before they left. It all took about an hour or so. We have used 1st Choice Air a few times for our A/C repair and always been very pleased.

They were fast, professional and efficient. Big plus, they didnt immediately try to sell me another unit. No annoying sales pressure from the technician. He figured out the problem in just a few minutes and had the old AC up and running again in quick order.

Robbie was great, he took his time to explain to me all the issues he found. I was assured he had everything fixed and ready to go.

Carmello was great! He set up new thermostat and helped me with very noisy AC caused by incorrect fan setting and inlet vent issues. He reviewed my options for this 14 year old unit and showed me all the items he had checked. I know I’m on the last leg of this ACs life, but I’m confident I’ll get the most out of it with routine checks and service like Carmello provided today.

Rafael did an absolutely amazing job and he was so kind and courteous! For background my AC went out when it was 109 degrees outside and it didnt take long for it to get to 90 degrees inside the house! The first company (a competitor) I went to said they needed to order parts and it would take 3 to 4 days just to get the parts in much less the service complete. I called 1st Choice Air and they sent out Rafael within an hour! From the minute he showed up he had a kind attitude and went right to work. Their courier service who brings their parts wasnt working that day so Rafael personally went and picked up the parts himself. He was back at my home within an hour and within a couple more hours he had the system up and running! He genuinely seemed liked he cared about my families situation and wanted to make sure to do right by the customer. 1st Choice was also cheaper than their competitor, faster than their competitor and much easier to get a hold of! I would highly recommend their service and truly commend Rafael for the hard work he did and the care for the customer he showed.Also forgot to mention Danielle who initially took my call and made sure that we were taken care of the same day! She was so helpful and courteous! She was very responsive and gave 5 stat customer service!

The technician listened carefully to the problems we were having with our heating system. He did a thorough diagnosis. He explained everything well and even changed our filter. He was professional, efficient, and friendly. He did some of the repair. Although he had to come back the next day to replace a flaky part, he was able to do a temporary fix so that we were warm overnight. We were extremely pleased with his service.

December 2023:Robby Dollar was my rep for my fall tune-up on Friday. He was extremely thorough/detail-oriented and provided plenty of pictures for me to follow along with as he reviewed my system with me. I continue to be impressed with 1st Choices quality of service. I also just learned that they now offer Plumbing services as well, and already have plans to take advantage of them.First Experience (July 2022):My first experience with 1st Choice was an emergency repair to my AC system which had gone out during the summer last year. I was very impressed with their response time, efficiency, and knowledge. So much so that I signed up for their semi-annual seasonal tune-up plan which Ive been taking advantage of ever since. Each time they visit they continue to provide top notch service.

Company and employee Robby Dollar were very professional and responded to everything in a very timely manner. He seemed very knowledgeable and explained the problem and solutions to our AC unit. Would definitely recommend this company.

Overpriced and offers poor quality work. We had a water leak and the plumber charged us $900 to come out and couldnt find the leak and said it was a sewage leak. He wanted to charge us $6500 to jackhammer holes in our foundation to fix it. Had another plumber come out and find and fix the small leak in one of our hot water lines for $900. We had signed up for their AC membership and the guy comes out to inspect our units. After he left the AC wouldnt run, turns out he left the breakers outside off with the boxes wide open in the rain. After we turned those back on we were freezing within 30 minutes because he left all the thermostats set to 60. He left the attic access open with the lights on up there. I get tiny mistakes but just the culmination of all of it left me feeling like these guys just dont care. Then the memberships, as you might imagine, are just an excuse for them to sell you stuff. But the way its presented you dont know if you need this stuff for the units to keep working or if its just a nice to have add on. I cancelled my membership but they kept charging me because apparently you have to give them 30 days notice. This company obviously cares more about making money than taking care of customers. I recommend you find a higher quality company that is more interested in solving your problems rather than for ways to take advantage of you.

He covered our furniture with plastic to help contain the dust while cleaning. His cleanup afterwards was great. He swept and ran a vacumn. Robby Dollar was amazing. Not only did he quickly diagnose my problem (fuse touching misplaced aluminum insulation), but he quickly fixed it and assured it wouldnt be a problem in the future. No cost, fast, and professional. He even changed my filters for me. He made me aware of a potential issue, but assured me I had time to make a decision. I opted to not take action just yet and he didnt pressure me one bit. He gave me a quote for when the time comes, at my request. If you want quality service that wont high-pressure sales pitch you...just use these guys. I know I sound like a spokesman for them (Im definitely not affiliated with them in any way except as a customer), but they are just this damn good.

Our fan motor went out today, and the technician, Rafael, showed up promptly, was very personable and knowledgeable, and made sure everything was handled before he left.I had some questions after the fact, and Caleb was great about contacting me and answering all the questions I had too. He never became frustrated with me and handled everything very professionally.If you need an HVAC company or want to get scheduled for a maintenance plan, I highly recommend them. We called 1st Choice because our AC didnt seem to cool the house properly. Rene showed up on time and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He checked our entire system and gave me tips on how to run our system more efficiently. He suggested some thermostat upgrades but did not pressure us into any purchases. We hired this company for an inspection based on the number of reviews they had and their rating. After the technician spent a couple hours inspecting our system my girlfriend was given 2 options. Either install a new system or a laundry list of repairs needed. The system is only 11 years old. We decided to get a second opinion and the tech from the other company took the time to show me that nothing needed to be done and that there were no serious issues. He also showed me how the gauges could be adjusted to show false readings to convince a customer that they needed work that wasnt necessary. Would not recommend this company as it seemed strange to me that the system needed to be replaced already and the other company confirmed that it didnt need to be repaired or replaced.

Very satisfied. This is the first time using 1st choice and had the having Mr Rafael service our unit. He did a very good job and got it fixed fast and made me feel so comfortable speaking to me in Spanish I highly recommend hiring them for your needs

Water heater went out and by mid-afternoon it was replaced. Josh and Ronnie were wonderful. They kept me informed and made sure all was in working order an trash picked up before they left. I have used several different plumbers over the years but 1st Choice will be handling all my future plumbing needs.

Overall first two visits w our technicians was great they were extremely helpful, which is why I gave two stars I definitely believe it’s commission based, so they will convince you to buy new unit, which we did, to avoid a hot summer however prior to speaking w a representative over the phone was assured how we make our payment over 10k n pay the remaining on Wednesday, if our payments approved for 10k what in your right mind thinks we don’t have the integrity and ability to pay the rest w honesty, instead we were harassed back to back calls, leaving voicemails stated he was extremely concerned and wanted to figure out what was discussed which should’ve been taken notation in doc as it was discussed over the phone, like any business dealing w customers financial information, so Mr.Dane wouldn’t have had to been acting this way, it’s absurd we kept getting calls by a rep named Dane, who character seemed annoyed and hostile ,as if we are the type to scam and take advantage of what was discussed as valid to be able to pay on Wednesday, however it was worse when Mr.Dane who also threatened my husband that the remaining payment better approve processing on Wednesday or else, what type of integrity and customer service is this, if it’s not done this way it should’ve been explained prior to making the payment on Monday and waited for Wednesday. I don’t believe the technician or laborers are the issue it’s the one punching numbers and invoices in the office that talk w less integrity than the ones in the field.

I have to say in these times when customer service has been on an incline, Joshua, Aaron, at first choice plumbing has renewed my faith in customer service. He was honest on time and very efficient on handling my plumbing problems in my house. I highly recommend using them for any service that they can offer. Thank you, Joshua.

1st Choice Plumbing Heating and Air Solutions sent Robby Dollar to come out and give us a Free 2nd Quote on Tuesday and he had us all fixed up by Friday, we had to replace an evaporator coil and although this was not fun for us Robby put us at ease! We trusted him in our home and around our kids, he did an excellent job and he now has loyal customers that will be asking for him as their perferred technician!

Our air conditioner went out and we called 1st choice in the afternoon, they came out the next day. Robbie diagnosed the problem and had us up and running the same day. He did a great job and explained everything well.

Incredible experience! Robby Dollar is fantastic! We received service within 45 minutes of our call. A full accessment was performed and we were informed of all the issues, shown pictures of them, educated on our system setup, and offered both reactive and proactive solutions. 1st choice came to our rescue when we lost our down stairs unit making our house unlivable-not only did Caleb come to our house to see the state of our unit, but as it was obvious it couldn’t be fixed he worked hard to find us financing that would fit our budget-then his crew came in and tore out the old unit and did a outstanding job -and quickly I might add -and had the house cooling in about 6 hrs -I worked construction for 15 years and this team was over the top-not in completing the work but also insuring the house was kept clean. Robby was extremely helpful and friendly. We had our air conditioner go out and they were able to come out the next day and quickly discover the problem and get it resolved in the same visit. Highly recommend!
