On time, very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s probably the 8th time we have used EMS check them out.They also have a quarterly maintenance plan that’s nice to know our unit is being cleaned and checked on.Two things I never did myself

I hesitated to call EMS because I was a bit outside their service area and I’m glad I did anyway! Tonya answered my call and made me feel like I was already a part of their client family! Not only did they say yes, they said Emilio would be out the same day. I received a call from Emilio shortly after and he asked specific questions about my issue and provided me with expectations on ETA (even offered to bring a snack if I wanted something from the convenience store!). Emilio was able to figure out our issue and called/ordered the warranty parts I needed (so glad I didn’t have to). He did a great job keeping us informed and being transparent as to what he was doing. We’re due a follow up service to install parts and we’re hoping Emilio will be back with other great technicians from the team on installation day!Definitely recommend EMS to anyone with a AC/Heating issue. I have been a customer of EMS for over 5 years. I am always pleased with the level of service and professionalism of the staff.

My family has used EMS for years, and once again they came through famously. Came out after our unit stopped cooling last night (in AUGUST, ugh) this morning 08/09 and found the problem was fairly minor. Made the repairs for more than a fair price, and by the time I got up (I work nights) the house was nice and cool (for August). Thank you guys again. Highly recommend this company for any Heating and A/C work!

We had Emilio D. service our unit and he was polite and professional. He was able to get it back up and running. We had previously used two other AC companies and we learned some expensive lessons. We will stick with EMS for future repairs.

Tech was early and timely. Treated wife with respect and was very kind on the phone and in person. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Had a problem with my A/C, they were out the next morning. Horatio was punctual, kind, and explained everything I needed to know. Very trustworthy and did everything he could to help me including giving me a little scraper tool straight out of his toolbox since I opted to clean my unit myself to save money. Received a follow up call from their office and was encouraged to call if I had any questions. Will definitely be calling them again if Im in need in the future. Seriously though, give Horacio a raise, he deserves it.

Emilio was tenacious finding the clog in the A/C mini-spilt drain line, and getting the system fixed! I always trust EMS to stand behind their work and provide excellent service.

I don’t know what their problem is but we had an appointment they canceled it and they rescheduled one for another day never came never called won’t answer our calls hung up on me when I told her who I was. I would not ever use a company that does a customer like this.

We had a great experience with EMS. Every person who came to our house was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We were given a quote to repair our unit and one to replace it. Because this was the second costly fail on this unit, we decided to replace it. I should have taken before and after pictures because the difference in installation was night and day. The EMS install was very clean and well done. The system has been running both AC and heat for the past two months without any issue. Emilio was just back out this week to perform a system maintenance and of course everything is working as it should. Again, he was thorough, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend EMS and will definitely be calling them when its time to replace our other unit.

There was water dripping from the ceiling. It was coming from the air condition pan in the ceiling. EMS Heating and Air conditioning was at my business within one hour to do repairs. Pictures were taken, Mr. Emilio Dlaz was amazing and thorough with his work.Customer service was excellent.

Came to clear our ac line and this is what they left ... I called and called. Texted and no response. Its ruined personal items. Its the sludge from clog and now its on walls, ceiling, rugs, toothbrushes.

Emilio was the service tech that came out to fix the issue with our a/c unit. He came out a couple of hours after I made the request for the repair. He was very professional and explained the issue as well how to repair it.

Horacio provided excellent service! He was prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the issue thoroughly and provided maintenance tips for homeowners. I will definitely be choosing this company for any future A/C issues!

They got here same day and go my HVAC system working again. They are also coming out the next week to do one of the yearly services on my units. Horacio done my second service today and was very good to work with. He explained everything and made sure it was working like it should.

I am so grateful to my insurance man for recommending EMS Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. The first encounter was last fall when the heating/ac unit, hanging from a (believe called stud), came loose on one side, and although the new unit was approximately two years old, and yes, I had a service agreement with the company, the owner refused to come repair it. He came, looked, and said the roof caused it, even though the roof was months old. I called my insurance agent in Rockwall who suggested I try EMS Heating & A/C. Eric came out the same day and saw the damaged unit hanging, and the flooded pan and floor due to the pan clogging. The next day he sent his crew to repair the shoddy work done by seller who represents Rudd. Attitude and work ethics were a true gift to me. Based on my son meeting Eric last year, and extremely impressed, this year he called and signed up for their service warranty. Two weeks ago I called, and one of his crew came two days ago to service both units. He discovered the A/C capacitor was on the verge of failing, and the unit is just two years old! The larger system in the A/C was in bad shape and he is working with the Rudd company for a replacement. He explained in detail, step by step, what has occurred., took photographs of each and everything he did, and has promised to send them to me. I could not have been happier with EMS, their response time, incredible work ethics, and pricing. Without hesitation, I would recommend and again use EMS. Everyone with whom I have dealt have been incredibly nice. Footnote: The company in Sunnyvale who sold me the unit would not at first come out, then finally he looked at the mess and damage and refused to fix the poor workmanship caused by his installer. Several days later, he called to say he would come over on Saturday to repair it ........one week later, while water is pouring out. EMS provides quality work, ethical standards, and respectful to the customer. (Photos have yet to arrive, therefore unable to share).

EMS has always done a great job maintaining and addressing issues with our home HVAC systems. An honest company that will give you options and not try to push unnecessary services on you. We have had Hector out at our home twice and he is super professional and friendly and has a a solid ability to explain things in layman’s terms. And when he figured out that our upstairs AC wasn’t working because we accidentally turned the physical power switch off, he was gracious and didn’t give me too much grief. 🤣

EMS did the initial install of my system 5 years ago. This year EMS came to do an annual service check. Turns out we had a slight problem. EMS worked diligently to identify and correct the issue. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the job. I will continue to depend on EMS for all my A/C - Heating needs. They have proven to be knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to making sure the customer is satisfied.

The folks at EMS are top notch! We’ve been using them for about 4 years for annual hvac maintenance as well as a new system install.They are extremely responsive and do whatever it takes to make sure we are satisfied. EMS replaced our unit at the shop and added ducting for better efficiency. They were professional and courteous, and explained everything in detail so we understood how our system works. We Highly recommend EMS Heating and Air Conditioning!

Will be calling yet again. Seems like we were purposely sold a malfunctioning system so someone has to come out every couple months and repair something. Broke down before the freeze lol broke down twice last summer and seems to be malfunctioning once again. We dont abuse the system. Try to keep it at a reasonable 75. Got home and it was 82. Turned the system off for a bit, turned off the main power to the house for a bit..now an hour later and thermostat is marking 83.2 year old system thats still under finance...and Im sweating just sitting here like a 600 pounder. The outside unit isnt running.

Don’t be misled by negative reviews for the WRONG COMPANY with a similar name out of Austin subcontracting in DFW. You’d think people posting angry reviews would ensure they were accusing the right company first before causing harm to someone else’s livelihood, that is reckless. EMS based in FORNEY, TX is absolutely trustworthy, timely, and does great work at my house every Spring and Fall. They have fixed our aging system when we were in a jam, they are forthcoming with pictures and technical measurements offering me a heads up if a part is reading weak heading into the next season, and they don’t fix what isn’t broken if I don’t want them to - like the noisy draft inducer in my furnace that somehow still hasn’t burned itself out. My 19 year old system is running great because of Eric and Emilio at EMS, love those guys, they will be my service provider as long as I live in the area.

Emilio continues to impress! Timely, courteous and doesnt try to oversell! He is the reason we keep coming back.

Diagnosed my issue and even though the part was on backorder, they stayed on top of the manufacturer and even put window units in until the compressor came in.Now my system runs and will be using them for routine maintenance and any other repairs needed!!Give them a call!

A/C went out this summer and I called EMS Heating and Air. They were on time and very professional. The tech did a very thorough inspection and was honest about his findings. We did a pressure test and found where the leak was. They didn’t just try and suggest parts that I potentially didn’t need, they took the time and did the right thing and actual found where it was leaking from. Repairs were fast so we could have AC asap. Have had no problems since then. I highly recommend EMS for all your heating and AC needs. Great service and honest work.

Horatio Alonzo is a top notch technician who arrives when he says he’s going to and always asks permission to use my sink before rinsing various parts. He’s a great guy as well! I have been using EMS Heating & Air Service since 2016 and have never been dissatisfied with either the product they installed or the service they provide to keep it running smoothly.

The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because there in not a no star option. They were assigned by our home warranty company to repair our a/c which has been out for 3 days. (in the triple-digit TX heat). They contacted us and we were assigned a time slot of 12-5pm. Their technician called us at 12:38pm to say he was on his way & should be here in about 15 minutes. He arrived at 12:52pm and asked what the problem was with the a/c. We explained that the unit would turn on, then about 10 seconds later it would turn off and that had been happening for the last 3 days. The technician asked my husband to show him where the attic drop was located because he wanted to look at the inside unit. When he got in the attic, he told my husband not to go up with him and the keep the stairs clear in case he had to exit quickly. When he came down from the attic, he asked my husband to show him where the outside unit was located so he could look at it. My husband walked the technician to the outside unit and stood near by in case he had any questions. The tech asked my husband if anyone had performed a leak test on the unit because it sounds like it may be out of freon. My husband said no and the technician said he would have to fill out a leak test report and get that scheduled before he could do the repairs then he walked to his truck at 12:59pm and sped off.After about 45 minutes, I called the company to inquire if the technician had filed the report or if was he coming back and was told the technician refused to work on our unit because he didnt want to be watched over while he worked. I explained that the technician had only unplugged the unit, he did not even begin to do any work, he just asked us that 1 question then left. The person who answered the phone was rude and kept talking over me while I was explaining what happened. They were VERY UNPROFESSIONAL - horrible customer service!!We have called our warranty company to make them aware of the situation and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well.

Our homeowners insurance sent this company two weeks ago the first tech said he couldnt fix our AC. So they sent out a specialist he said he needed to order a part. Which was supposed to come in Friday before last. My husband was checking with them daily for updates they said the part was coming from out of town. Then all of a sudden yesterday 9/8 they tell us the part is in pearland so they had been lieing the whole time and they started getting rude to my husband because he kept calling they even hung up on him a couple of times. On top of all that the appointment that they made for us for today 9/10 for between 9AM -1PM they texted my husband and said it was cancelled but, this happened after he called them to check the status of the technician. They gave us the runaround for over two weeks. We had to call someone on our own and having to pay out of pocket for something that our insurance was covering through this unprofessional company. I would not suggest anyone use this company. If I was able to give 0 stars I would give a -0!!!!

I have no reason to search anywhere else, EMS has always taken good care of me when I called. After my experiences with them I’ve never used nor recommended any other company. As someone who also works in field service (different industry) I try everyday to deliver the same service that they do and sometimes can’t meet my customers expectations. Weve been using EMS Heating & Air Conditioning for several years for several properties. They have always been super responsive, arriving most time the very next day after calling. Pricing is very competitive, and they offer military/veteran discounts (always a plus in my book).

EMS was suppose to fix my a/c. They were the first repair service to work on the inside attic section. It work for a couple of hours. When EMS’s next repairman saw my control board. He said “who did this to you? They blew out your control board.”I gave him the other EMS repairman’s name that had just worked on it. He said he didn’t have a control board on his truck that he would come back the next day.I called EMS for 10 days and they said they were coming to fix it. Then they just started hanging up the phone on me. Disabled, over 60 and 10 days of Texas summer heat. I had to pay $650. to replace the control board. Do not let EMS work on your air conditioner. I called the BBB.

EMS serviced our heating system. The tech (Rigo) was very thorough and pleasant to talk with. We have been using EMS for approximately 16 years. We highly recommend this very professional family-owned company.

We have used EMS for several years and could not be happier. This last time our HVAC (20+ years old) died during one of the hottest parts of a Texas summer. A repairman was there almost immediately and gave us the bad (but not unexpected) news the unit was dead and needed replacement. They worked with us on choosing the right unit for our house and wallet, helped us with financing and when the unit we needed was not to be found in many miles, had one overnighted in from the other side of the state. The installation team was at our door at 8am, worked ceaselessly until past 7 pm making sure everything was in place, tested and working. I cannot say enough good about EMS and plan to use them until forever.

Horacio was very courteous and thorough. He tested and troubleshooted multiple things. He explained everything and performed what repairs were needed. I will definitely be giving them a call if I have any future issues.

Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. After $1200 and 6 appointments, we are still sitting in a hot house. 2 times they didn’t bother to tell us they weren’t coming. I have MS, a disease that is aggravated by heat, so this has been a health concern as much as a comfort concern. The heat in Texas has been 110 degrees.

These guys were dispatched by my home warranty. The technician showed up three days after we called in when our heat went out. After two days the heat came back on. The next day the technician came out and told my wife that the issue was dirty air filters. Our filters were not dirty enough to block a significant amount of air flow, but we changed the filters out any way since it is such a simple task. During the past two days of extreme cold weather with ice and snow, the heat went out again. My home warranty dispatched these guys again under the same claim number and they said they could not get any one out for two more days. We set an appointment for 8am and I sat here as no one shoed up. When I called, they stated that they did not have a technician in the area for today and I would have to wait another two days to have a technician come out to troubleshoot the issue. I definitely would not recommend these guys to anyone.

7/21/22 response : I am an easy going person and take alot. I also believe accountability & integrity matters. What would have been great was a sincere apology for the inconvenience. Statements like I am sorry you are disappointed with our company puts it on me and not you. Bottom line is, I received a last minute cancellation/reschedule with no explanation, no apology and no follow-up from my call. I NEVER heard from EMS after my July 6th voice message until today and that is because I left a 1 star review. Im inclined to believe I would have never received a call until Fall maintenance time. Numerous(3 or more) is not honest either. I received 2 phone calls TODAY. I checked my messages at lunch and the first call at 11:06am was hold music. I figure when I didnt answer, she put it on hold and my cell hung up after the allotted time for a voice message ran out. The second call at 11:07am message was if you can please give me a callback. I was referred to you by a church member. Ill be sure to inform of my disappointment. I get it, you have other customers that give you rave reviews and that matters to you the most. Please dont pretend to call me again, its clear my family doesnt matter. Im just one household amongst others, right?7/20/22:Ive used EMS Heating and Air Conditioning maybe 3-4 times. I was supposed to have an AC check exactly two weeks ago. I called June 15th for an appointment on July 6th for the 2-4pm time slot. I specifically made the appt that week because I was off and Tues or Wed were the only days available for me. The day of the appointment, I received a call at 1:32pm and the voice message acknowledged that I was scheduled that day for 2-4pm and calling to reschedule and said had the same time slot available for that Friday. I didnt listen to the voice msg till 2:29pm and returned the call confused, slightly upset saying Friday was not good and left my number to call me back. I received no call back that afternoon, the next day or ever. IM DISAPPOINTED and still upset. There should have been at least an effort to return my call to reschedule another day and/or apologize for the inconvenience. Im not the one that cancelled at the last moment so why should I have to call again? That truly rubbed me the wrong way.

Appreciate having the same tech most times. He is always courteous and explains fully. If they are going to be off schedule/late they do call ahead—-good courtesy.

EMS should be your only call for HVAC problems. We are very impressed with this company. Eric, Mike, and their entire crew are very professional and polite.We have used EMS for several years now, they breathed life into a 20 year old system and gave us an additional five years before it became uneconomical to repair.We opted for a New Trane HVAC System, they did exactly what they said they wound do for a honest and fair price. They were Prompt , efficient, knowledgeable and willing to explain and answer all of your questions.We were very impressed with how clean and respectful they were with our home.Thanks EMS for getting us cool again!

Eric recently installed a split a/c heater unit in my small shop. Professional from start to finish. Showed up on time to evaluate and estimate the installation, suggested the correctly sized unit, provided a reasonable quote and installed within the week. I can’t believe how quiet and efficient the Mitsubishi 2ton unit is. Great choice with a great warranty. Eric has followed up twice to make sure everything turned out great. He was able to use some existing lines to save me some parts/installation costs. Very impressive. I would highly recommend EMS for HVAC service.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. They came out to repair my outside fan motor that stopped running on my unit. They replaced it, and replaced my freon with a DIFFERENT freon than what my unit takes. The technician assured me that it was the compatible freon. Well, within 24 hours, my system became contaminated. Another technician came out to service my system and verified this, but NEITHER technician gave me ANY documentation, nor did they turn in the required documentation to my home warranty company to get it fixed. EXTREMELY unprofessional. I am disgusted with their service. Luckily, I have recorded all their phone calls and videoed what their technicians did to my unit, for legal documentation purposes. DO NOT do business with these people!

This company is amazing. They came to our rescue last minute when we got struck by lightning. They got our system running enough to help us through until the part was in and ready for complete fix. Their prices were very reasonable and I can not say enough how grateful we are for them. I totally recommend them.

This company is so unprofessional…..I have had 2 appointments cancelled without notice. I have choice home warranty who assigned me this company for AC repair. I called this company multiple times, they don’t answer and I’ve left voicemails and they don’t return the call. Each time my appointment was cancelled I was never notified, the only reason I found out was because after calling them with no answer I reached out to Choice for them to turn around and say “looks like the appointment was rescheduled”. Who has time to sit here and wait on a company to come between hours of 3-8 for them not to show up. TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the WORST company. Completely unprofessional and rude. They gave a window from 12-5 for an appointment and called at 3:11 to say they were on their way and wanted to be sure I was home. I called them back 20 minutes later and texted and they never responded back. I waited and waited until 5:30 thinking maybe they got stuck in traffic and nothing from the company. I called them and they were completely rude and unhelpful. I have sat all day in my house and waited for them and NOTHING. I will never do business with this company and I recommend you dont either. Extremely poor communication and no care for their customers.

I had an appointment scheduled for between 1- 6 pm. The tech called a 6:30 pm to say he was on his way. After arriving after 7:30, he said he couldnt do the job. He didnt or couldnt access the unit on the roof, although he told me on the phone he had a ladder to get on the roof.Also, mentioned that he wasnt sure if the company would allow him to do the job.

SCAM ALERT!!!!Horrible service Erick was rude his wife was rude over the phone I had a second opinion come out and check they showed me pictures of how my system looks and they asked if I wanted to go look at it myself . Erick missed so much on my system all he did was change a capacitor and called it good to where I would have had to call him every 3 months to change the capacitor. He doesnt look for the root of the problem, its just a bandage fix or a temporary fix. DO NOT TRUST THEM! look somewhere else for a/c fixes. Theyve been open for 23 years, they dont have a shop nor more then 1 worker, i actually use to work for ems and i seen the work they do first hand they are not honest people they are money hungry .I graduated from college for hvac/r, i have 5 years of experience. They let me go for no experience. As an employee that i was , they didnt offer me a vehicle, they only had one. This just isnt the place. Take the risk and dont complain later when you gain knowledge in the AC industry. Good luck everyone.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever had an experience with. They work for warranty companies so they don’t care about you or their response time. You’ll have a technician show up and tell you the exact same thing you told them over the phone when scheduling. I literally paid for a service technician to come out and tell me what I already knew. The owner, Jeff lies and tells you bs in order to avoid taking any ownership of his lack of customer service and the fact he hires technicians that don’t know anything about HVAC. Don’t waste your time with this company. I have reported them to the BBB.
