F.A.S. Appliance was referred to me by Frigidaire when my oven latch broke. Javier, Elizabeth and their entire team diligently searched for the part that was no longer being manufactured. Elizabeth was in constant communication with me throughout the entire process and working every which way to find a solution for my situation. She sent Jose the welder to my rescue and upon seeing it told me he could do it but would need additional help. Elizabeth then sent Fabian with Jose (who I now call el maestro) and together they took care of it in no time flat. They are my dream team! They took what seemed a hopeless situation for me and saved Thanksgiving for our family! Their excellent customer service backed up by quality craftmanship is why they deserve 5+++ stars!The first 2 pictures show the broken latch open and closed and the last picture is it all fixed!

After having have had Westside Air conditioning coming to service. Over 3 times and they kept saying it was the thermostat well NO it was the motor. Anyhow, after waiting for a month plus ,to get my heating going it was a relief when finally the motor was replaced. However, since they had removed my Ecobee and placed a generic thermostat I requested to have my Ecobee be placed back. It was declined …,,reason…. If they did that my heating wouldn’t work again. (Negative) even as older senior women , I know better, just because we’re old doesn’t mean we’re stupid. Needless to after so many phone calls were placed concerning my issue with West Texas Air conditioning in El Paso Texas …. finally.,,..,,,,,.. andAnyhow I requested a 2nd opinion and F.A.S. Appliance and refrigeration was Sent.by goodness!!!!! Guess what my EchoBee thermostat is working !!!! fantastically well And none of this that it can’t be done. The young people that were coming ftom This Westside heating and were previous students that had just left their training school and what was needed here was someone that really knows how to do things or they should’ve gotten better guideance for this young men who deserve to work and learn on the Job.Sooooooo, Thank You Mr. Cesar Rubalcaba from F.A.S. for your professionalism and knowledge!!!!! You’re the best!!!

If you get assigned to them through your homeowners insurance request a different one immediately. There is no adequate communication from This company it’s been almost 2 months without our appliance working. I never received a call from the supervisor as I had requested. Dont waste your time with them. They dont know what they are doing!

Waited a week to get a call from them after my home insurance sent them our work order.Whoever best friends, cousins daughter was hired to schedule & answer phone calls.....yall need to get someone thats actually professional and knows what theyre doing.First she said they didnt get the work order, then said it mustve slipped after scrolling through her emails and finding it. Currently requesting a new company as she was of no help providing a date for them to come out.What a waste of time.

Aug 14: I submitted a claim through my warranty for an AC repair, and received an appt through F.A.S. for Aug 20th.Aug 20: I wait for the technician to arrive, then I call their office and the representative said she was not tracking an appt, not received. I told her that I have had the appointment notice for a week now. Then she responds, oh yeah, it just came in this morning I was at their mercy and requested a different appointment date if they could not accommodate the 20th, they give me Aug 23rd.Aug 23: Technician arrives on time, conducts a thorough assessment, no issues. Was done early in the morning. He tells me I just need to wait for the approval from the warranty and he can come back.Aug 26: I follow up and speak with the same representative and says We dont work weekends, but I am going to submit the work order to them now At this point I think she just forgot, but as long as she submits it, then its fineSep 3: I check my account with my warranty and it says the claim was closed. I called them and they said FAS never submitted the work order so they closed it. I requested them to assign a different vendor because I have had AC for 3 weeks now.10 minutes later I receive an email confirmation of a new vendor.20 minutes later a technician (new vendor) calls and asks when I am available, I told him as soon as possible. He arrives within 40 minutes, conducts an assessment, GETS WARRANTY APPROVAL TO START WITHIN 1 HOUR while still on site. Gets my AC working within the next hour. SEP 3 input a new claim, SEP 3 got my AC fixed by noon.Im sure FAS has some great technicians, but there is an issue with their clerks managing work orders.

I had this Company come out and repair my mini split , the technician said it had a small leak and needed to be recharged. Once completed the unit works for 36 days and stop cooling again I called this company and told them that the AC stop working and they refused to help said that we only have a 30 day warranty. I would understand if this was a part or a different problem but clearly they did not repair the leak and now they want to charge me another service fee to come back out. I will call another company to properly repair this unit and never use them again. I do not recommend any one use a company that does not stand by the work they do.

Dispatcher Evelyn was a huge help and very respectful and helpful throughout the entire process. Everything about the experience was great. Every technician/dispatcher has been fantastic. Most recently Fabián Jr came out to do maintenance. Incredibly knowledgeable and great at his job. I recommend this company to everyone I know that needs this type of work done. Great experience all around.

We had an air conditioner leak and put a claim in on our home warrant insurance we pay for. This company was dispatched, I took the day off from work to wait for them, we had been without air conditioning for over a week as the affected area was being dried out by fans and dehumidifiers. The tech showed up last call of the day Friday afternoon, I paid their fee. I stayed with him the entire time, there was a black condensating drain hose that was connected to other drain pipes the condensation water should have been draining through. This guy pulled the black hose off with his hand, blew in it with his mouth, then told me that should fix it. He proceeded to order a furnace for the A/C unit, through my home warranty because he said he may as well replace it, even though that was not the problem, he didn’t remove any of the panels to check for A/c problems he put the hose back on turned the system on again, and left. Not shortly after he left it began leaking again. I struggled w both this company to get the “diagnosis” turned into the home warranty people even though I watched him diagnose nothing. Choice home warranty is also terrible! Both the warranty company and this company were blaming each other for not being able to correct the problem. I asked this company to please come out and FIX THE AC and I would pay them out of my own pocket, the rude lady told me they needed to come and diagnose again and give me a quote, even though I had already paid them once through the home warranty to do just that, and wasted a day of work waiting for them. So I hired a different company to come out, the tech quickly removed panels of the A/C found that the condensation pvc trap was clogged, he blew the trap out with nitrogen verified it was draining properly, cleaned my coil also, which was still in great condition and solved the problem in about an hour or so. Both Choice Home warranty and this Company are terrible! Next step for me now is filing a complaint against them with the BBB. There’s a lot of things I can put up with, but in over 100 degree Texas heat having a broken A/C is dangerous for my kids. I even had to make a new appointment with the warranty company for them to come back, I was so upset the lady wasnt being in helpful, I did get into with her over the whole situation, because Choice warrant was telling me that they had not turned in a diagnosis to approve fixing the A/C. I did argue with her, then she refused to return to the follow up appt from Choice causing me to wait longer without A/C, finally I paid another company to fix everything.

I want to thank Elizabeth from F.A.S for all the help she gave me helping me with my insurance on the replacement of my a/c and the technicians who replaced it, they did an excellent job.I highly recommend F.A.S applience.

The absolute best company we could have found to help us keep cool this summer. Daniel, Fabian and Fabian Jr. were amazing in every step of the way. Same day installation was fast, efficient, and truly price worthy. They helped finance and did not shoo us away like most a/c refrigeration and heating companies do here in el paso. They truly care about their work and doing it properly. I will be recommending them to everyone I can and calling them back for other properties of our own. Thank you again!!!

Cesar repaired our SubZero ice maker with ease and expertise. He is right on time and cared about our freezer as well as our kitchen. The project took two trips as he dug into the ice maker motor and discovered that a bracket had been broken which caused our ice maker to freeze a block of ice in the bucket. Another repair service kept promising they would come and never showed up. Cesar was wonderful!!!

Alex and Cesar did a fantastic job fixing my ac unit. They kept me informed every step of the way and coordinated with my insurance company. The office staff was lovely and everyone was polite and professional. They are my go to place from now on.UPDATE: The condenser pump got a clog and Cecil took care of it in about 5 minutes! How do you not love that level of service.

Sent an email requesting quote and never got a response. Called and they apologized and said to email again and they’ll get a quote over ASAP. Still never got a reply more than a month later. Not good customer service

I had work completed by Jorge on my home for a new A/C unit. The courtesy he shows and the professionalism he brings is unmatched. He respected my home and performed a phenomenal job without hesitation. My work requested was completed within a very good timeframe. All my questions were answered and broken down into a way a person like myself with no knowledge in this line of work could understand and feel comfortable when he left to know everything has been done correctly. I have currently referred Jorge to family and friends based off his stellar performance.

Very satisfied with the service from FAS. Their entire team is excepcional. César, Fabián, Juan Rubio all of them, and thanks to Elizabeth for being attentive to everything necessary with my refrigeration.

I had professional work done by Jorge who came and installed a mini-split into my detached home on my property. Since the install I have not had a single issue. During the install I was quick to ask Jorge numerous questions on how the system works, what do’s and don’t to look out for and of course how long it would take. The work was completed efficiently and within a very timely manner and without hesitation all my questions were answered and satisfied with the knowledge and professionalism he holds. I would highly recommend Jorge 10 out of 10 times to family and friends.

Update : To no surprise , the owner replied to my review 3 weeks ago lying and saying that I called his employees names and used foul language! I know that everyone is working hard. So when I call and your employees can’t give me an accurate update that is concerning! No one could give me an update! No one kept me informed. For days, I was told the same thing. That the person in charge was not there so no one could give me an update! When your manager calls and lies to AHS saying that I was not ok with the timeline and suddenly cancels the work order, knowing that it would put the installation of a new AC even more behind, definitely shows how little this company cares about their customers! I got a new unit because I needed a new one not because your prices are competitive. As an owner your responses should show better customer service and realize that maybe your employees need some training! Again, everyone , AVOID this company at all cost !- updated 9/12/23.I would completely avoid this company! I was trying to get on their schedule now since my AC package unit is literally on the way to their facility ! The office manager called my warranty company to cancel the work order because apparently I was not ok with the time frame. So now I am stuck/delayed even further when I’ve been waiting for my AC unit to be fixed since June 30th. Not only did the office manager lie about this situation , these actions show you how little they care about business and customers in the middle of higher than 100 degree weather . - update 8/11/23.This company came to my home to evaluate an issue with the AC on July 17th. After 8 business days they have failed to submit their report to my warranty company which has now delayed the repair of the AC. I have been without AC for 4 weeks now. I have tried to call them and they are very rude, short and unprofessional on the phone. The person taking care of the reports is always out to lunch when I call. I have called them at 48hours, 96 hours and 144 hours after evaluating the AC to ask them to please submit their report and I continue to get the answer that it will take another 24hours.

F.A.S. replaced my gas furnace. Elizabeth, in the office, was wonderful to work with. She was able to answer all my questions and did not appear to tire of my many phone calls. Elizabeth even to care of completing the warranty for me. Erving and Ramses did the installation this morning. They were pleasant to have in the house and did a great job of cleaning up after the job was completed. I recommend the company and will definitely use them again.

After our water heater started leaking, forcing us to turn it off and be without hot water, we found out that because of the type of system we had, our HVAC was going to need to be addressed in the replacement as well. Fabian came out and gave me great advice and a free quote. We were able to schedule the complete replacement very quickly. Jorge and his team installed a brand-new water heater, furnace, and air conditioner in one day. Elizabeth and the support team were super responsive and helpful. This was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Thanks so much, FAS!

I had no problems with this business, they have excellent call service person Elizabeth, who assisted me with all my concerns. I rent my property, so all coordination was done through Liz. Technician arrived as scheduled and fixed some major breakdown keeping my tenants happy. Highly recommend this company for your AC related needs.

First impression sometimes it’s everything… I needed a quick repair for a rental house, a friend recommended me this company so I called for some information. I spoke to Cynthia and she was not only very friendly but extremely professional, answered all my questions and understood exactly what I needed it, she even suggested how can I save money. The job was done quick and on time!

I converted from swamp cooler to refrigeration. Fabian the owner was very professional answered all my questions and responded in a timely manner. The installers were very friendly made sure my house was clean and they took the time to explain the new wifi- thermometer that was installed. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and their prices!! If you’re on the fence don’t think about it any longer convert/upgrade best decision ever!

I got a new refrigeration unit installed. The process was very smooth. Elizabeth explained the logistics and helped me understand the financial process. All the staff and technicians were very nice and professional. I highly recommend this company.

FAS has been amazing to work with , my home warranty assigned them to my claim and they came out here next day submitted my report within 2 days and unfortunately my home warranty does take a while to process reports but i couldn’t wait so I ended up instead getting a quote from FAS to covert to refrigeration they gave me such a great price and installed my unit as soon as 1 day , definitely recommend 100% !! Best in El Paso for sure !

By far one of the greatest A/C companies I’ve ever contracted. I was extremely worried about the bad reviews and mixed opinions of customers. After finally considering the company, they did an amazing job and their customer service reps were awesome and easy to work with. The technicians are fluent with explaining the issue, and get straight to the point. Highly recommend them.

Fabian and his team are very professional and informative. Their prices are very reasonable as we had a few quotes from other companies and chose FAS as they were hundreds of dollars less in their quote.My wife and I have them maintain our hvac systems and they recently installed a tankless water and new combo on the other side of our home. My heater broke last week and it was 20 degree with my 2 kids in the house and i called this company and they were extremely helpful and on time. I talked to cynthia and she explained everything to me and was a really nice person. Really appreciate them and their work would 100% contact them again.

Got our AC installed and everything was done so professional. Everyone here was super polite and helpful with everything. Jorge explained everything in detail on the installation, the thermostat and the maintenance that needed to be done on our new AC. Would recommend anyone to get their work done by FAS.

My home warranty contracted them and I had to call them to ask about my appointment because they had not shown up. And even with me calling they got here 3 hours later and for them just to tell me they couldnt fix it because they needed approval for the repair. They set up another appointment for today from 11-2 and they did not show up. I called to ask what was going on and they said they were waiting for approval. I went ahead and called my warranty company and got them to do the approval while I was on the phone. I called them back to tell them it had been approved and they did not want to come anymore. They gave me another appointment for tomorrow morning again. It was ok for them to be 3 hrs late yesterday but couldnt come today. Keep in mind I got the approval and called them @2:09pm. A courtesy call yesterday and today would have been nice. DO NOT use this company.

I called F.A.S because I needed a couple ac unit installed in one of my buildings, they came to give me a free quote , pricing was great Evelyn walked me through the whole process scheduled me in as soon as possible, I had such a great experience with them , I would definitely be calling them for future projects.

Javier did an excellent job on my A/C repair today. He explained to me what he needed to do in a way that I could understand. I would recommend this company to others who need repairs for appliance and refrigeration needs.

Contacted Sobellas who then contracted FAS to install.From Sobellas we had the contract of 5year labor and service now FAS says it was only 3 years and it expired a month ago and now pur A/C is not cooling and now FAS wants to charge a fee to come look at the problem and then charge another fee to fix. These 2 companies are working together to offer one thing and then come signing time they change it to benefit them with a lesser warranty. Stay away from Sobellas and FAS!!! If I could give negative stars I would give a negative 10

Ive been using this company since we bought our house, and from the start they have been amazing with service, timely response and work. Every year I get the maintenance with them. I just had service done on my AC and ALEX R. was awesome, very nice knowledgeable, and quick to find what the problem was!

Terrible company. Terrible service. Our AC went out 2 1/2 weeks ago and FAS has had the part to fix the ac for 6 days now. We had an original appointment 3 days ago and they called our insurance stating we canceled an emergency service?!?! Make that make sense as to why we would cancel our appointment knowing it’s over 100° in El Paso????? They lied to our insurance company saying we canceled and lied to us stating they needed 2 people to install the part. They told us they’ll come Thursday at 8 am. Here we are, day 6 (Thursday) and it’s 430pm as they’ve been “running behind” to fix our ac and there is currently 1 person here to fix our ac. How are you running behind when our appointment was scheduled for 8am ?? Their page states they “close” at 5 pm. The young man is very unprofessional and will walk away from you as we try to communicate with him. Terrible terrible business as they do not care about their customers. I wish I could leave 0 stars. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. STAY FAR AWAY; YOUR TIME WILL BE WASTED.

I called in to request a maintenance plan and spoke to Elizabeth. She was very helpful and explained the process and I got my maintenance that same day! Recommend this company for your hvac needs!

This company was contacted by my warranty service to complete an AC maintenance service. They went out right away to give a free estimate. When we scheduled for the actual service they did not show up and kept canceling and rescheduling. Eventually they just would not return any calls. So unprofessional. They could have at least let me know they were not going to do the service so that I could call someone else. This went from October all the way through December. So disappointing.

Just amazing!! Everyone is soo professional , on time, and soo friendly!! I highly recommend this amazing company!! And can I just say how awesome the office staff is, there customer service is on point. Spoke to Elizabeth this morning and she was very help and was able to help with everything!! Irving and Daniel from F.A.S showed up on time to clean the Dyer vent. They cleaned the dyer vent which was full of lent. I was shocked. They did a fantastic job. Thank you so much.

I am very impressed with F.A.S. Appliance & Refrigeration LLC. Our A/C went out and our warranty contracted this company. Once assigned, the following day we were called to schedule an appointment for the following morning so a technician could determine the issue with our AC. He was able to determine the issue, once our warranty approved the service, FAS ordered the part that came in over the weekend. Alex R. came by our home and replaced the part, and all of a sudden our thermostat stopped working and he replaced it. Alex went above and beyond to make sure everything was working before he left. From the moment we were first contacted to the moment the issue was resolved, it took 5 business days. Thank you so much to very one who helped us during this process!

American Home Shield (AHS) assigned FAS when our AC unit stopped cooling. At first, looking at the initial reviews, I was happy we were going to be in good hands and expected a speedy resolution.Within a couple days, we had a technician come out and charge our coolant on the AC unit, since it was low. We had ice cold air blowing upstairs and were happy with the results at that time. The technician told us to call the company directly if there is any issue within the next 30 days.Less than 2 weeks go by, and the AC was blowing warm air again (we only used it about 3 days as the weather wasnt too hot yet). At this point, we figured there may be a leak, so we called FAS back and they sent someone out within 2 days.The same technician checked the coolant and recharged the unit. Since it ran out so quickly, he concluded there must be a leak and he would send someone out to do a pressure test within the week.AHS approved the pressure test, but we never heard back from FAS. After multiple calls to FAS and multiple calls to AHS, FAS completely ghosted us... wouldnt answer our calls and didnt return a single message we left. This was almost 6 weeks ago, and Temps are nearing 100 degrees now!

I avoid cold weather thanks to a great job from Jorge he installed my mini split, afforable and very professional service done, and give me tips to use it and maintain! Thank you! Great job!

Great company, fast efficient and very affordable. Ive called this company a few times for my washer and air conditioner, the technicians that came to perform repairs were very friendly and they explained everything that was done to solve the issues I was having. Thank you for the good service.

Fabian, the company owner was very quick at taking our money and finishing the job as quick as possible. But the quality of the job was as expected. Poor.The refrigated air doenst even drop below 74-75 having it on all day and night. Plus, the electric work they did was not working. Breakers were popping and a switch inside the house did not work properly. I had to hire a separate electrician to get everything working properly. Ive patient & tried to reach Fabian for about a week now. His lack of word and communication lead me to wrote this. If you dont want to have a poor quality job done. Id highly recommend to look somewhere else.

We used FAS for a gravity wall heater. Our house warranty company sent them but the valve was bad and wasnt covered. Ordered the part and came and replaced it. Left the hallway as clean as it was when he came. Then it stopped working so I had them come back out to verify the valve was still ok and nothing else was wrong. Apparently the safety had tripped, likely because of an issue with the roof vent that we resolved, but we didnt know about the safety or where it was. He showed me how to reset it if it happens again. If it continues to happen Ill definitely be calling them again to check it out. Punctual, friendly, and came the day after I called this last time.

I called and spoke with Elizabeth who was very professional and knowledgeable for the work that I was looking too do. I m just making calls and getting the information that I can compare. Hopefull, we I am ready too purchase I will remember how helpful the staff was.

Worse company ever, the manager Anthony is the biggest liar and sucks at running a business. Took me more than 3 weeks for him to call me. And finally the people come over and they dont even know anything about air conditioning. If I could rate it a 0 or lower I would. Dont ever do business with this company theyll just waste your time

Ive used FAS HVACs services twice in the past 6 months for 2 separate reasons. Both times, they were easy to reach, on-time (or earlier than expected, which was fine!), and honest with their work.

I had a broken thermostat and F.A.S. did a great job repairing it! Javier installed a new thermostat, and he was very timely and professional. Would recommend for any appliance and refrigeration needs.

They were assigned to us through our home warranty company back in June to fix our air conditioner they have been out to our home several times and the A.C. is still broken. They have replaced 2 parts and the A.C. is still broken. They replaced the condenser and turns out they put the wrong one on our house. They mad an appointment with us to put the right one on and didnt bother to show up. Here we are in August and that is still not fixed. This is ridiculous!

I’m very glad to found this company, the worker Cesar Rubalcaba installed the refrigeration of my house, very professional, clean and nice work, he did and amazing job and the customer service was awesome, he answer all my doubts about the installation and all. I highly recommended this company.

My home warranty assigned FAS for my dryer. They looked at it in the last week of January. In mid-March, my home warranty service request said CLOSED but no repair had taken place. FAS called me after that to let me know they backordered parts, but they had ordered the wrong parts. Two months later, and a dryer that should have been replaced immediately is still waiting. AVOID this business.

This company was super easy and affordable to work with specially a technician named Jorge Morales so far I’ve used them 3 times for my properties from a swamp cooler to Refrigeration system,Furnace installation and installation of thermostat they always leave the job site clean and are very knowledgeable when it comes to answering all your questions I’ll for sure keep using them for future jobs

My neighbor recommend this company, after a couple of companies that don’t found the issue with my washer he found it in no time and fixed it the same day, I am very happy with the service, Javier did an awesome Job.

I was assigned to F.A.S by my home warranty and they set up our appointment 3 days after , Technician was very professional and explained to me what was wrong with my ac , my home warranty did take forever to get equipment out to F.A.S , but they did come back when they got the equipment and got my AC installed on 6/30/22 they did such a great job and kept me up to date with every little detail and update , I recommend them , it’s so hot out here in El Paso and they were just great and efficient on getting this done for me and my unit looks great they did such a clean job !!!

AC went out on 04/ 12/22. it is now 5/12/22, Called several times, all I get is the part has been ordered has not come in yet. Now its on back order. 7 to 10 working days.This is B.S.. GOING ON OVER A MONTH.Really poor customer service. 85 dag F. Here now in El Paso. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

These two clowns came in to check my refrigerator and had the gall to tell me the on and off switch went bad. This refrigerator is a model year 1997. Yeah after running for 22 I would think it just gave out but no its a just a bad switch. Yeah right, then they have left my kitchen almost unusable.
