I hired Southwest Chimney to clean and certify my wood burning fireplace. The technician arrived right on time and spent 2.5 hours doing a very thorough clean of my very dirty fireplace! He answered all of my questions and took great care to cover the floors to keep my living room clean. Rose at the main office is great, and I had an awesome experience from the time of scheduling through the completion of work. I’d highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

I requested an appt and pricing for an inspection and i never got a call back the guy just showed up told me what was wrong within 5 mins and just charged me $179. They need to be upfront with customers

Alex Dimitri and Leroy did a fantastic job cleaning my ductwork. Finally a company that cares about doing the job right . From the time they arrived till they left they were professionals. Pricing was a little high but you pay for what you get. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them in the future.

Such a professional group of individuals! Everyone - from Rose booking my appointment, to inspection and a thorough cleaning service, to attaching a new chimney cap! I usually do not write bad reviews but I am extremely disappointed with this company. I was wanting my chimney and fireplace inspected to burn a wood fire and if it was safe.The tech called me to inform he was 15 minutes out which I appreciated. I was at work and my daughter was at my house to let the tech inside. I received a call 1 hour later that the job was complete and he needed to be paid. Never did he call me with a service estimate on the work needed or what he was going to do. He just called after the job was done. I had many questions to ask and he seemed to busy to answer. He just said my fireplace was safe to burn wood and to open the damper. No explanation of what he actually did. Just, I need $270.00.I paid the bill.Last night I opened the damper and built a wood fire in my fireplace. My house filled with smoke and every room now smells like a campfire. The wood was not green or damp...but the chimney is not working and my fireplace IS NOT safe. Very disappointed in their service and professionalism. I feel duped and this company was a total waste of money.

Paul and his crew are very professional and show up on time, give honest estimates of any work needing accomplished, do excellent cleaning and clean up after themselves.Strongly recommend as I have used them a couple of times and have now scheduled an appointment at my new rental.

Horrible service. They were recommended by SoBelles who had previously cleaned out dryer vent. Alex arrived on time (one star). It was raining at the time. I asked him if he was able to perform the work because of the rain. He replied he could. I asked him if he can get on the roof in the rain and his reply was “ I’ll look into it”. He moved our dryer out, put a scope in, said he didn’t see anything and charged us $216.45. We called the business this afternoon and asked what to expect from a dryer vent cleaning. As we figured, cleaning from the roof down was part of the description. The girl was extremely rude, said safety comes first and no apology for doing half a job.To Southwest Chimney & Air Duct Cleaning: your response should have been “sorry, we instructed our technician not to go in the roof because of the rain. We understand only 1/2 of our service was performed. We’d be happy to make an appointment to finish the job”. Instead, we were treated rudely and with disrespect. Do not, I repeat, do not use this company!

These guys have an absolutely excellent vent cleaning service. I had my refrigerated air system cleaned out. I have a bad pet allergy, and every time the air would come on in the past, I would start sneezing like crazy because the previous owner had several cats and dogs, so there was a lot of pet dander still built up in the vents that I could see with a flashlight. But now, the air is no longer stuffy, and I can finally breathe again, and the vents are like new. They also opened up another air intake vent on the other side of the intake space to put less strain on the motor, because at times the solo air intake was lacking in delivering heavy airflow to the system. They also installed new vent registers to control airflow throughout the house, room by room. Also, they cleaned the lint buildup out of my dryer vent which prevents the third most common fire of all, dryer lint fires. It may seem like an expensive service, but it is worth it to save money in future medical bills by having clean breathing air. I cant recommend these guys enough. I actually feel more energized now that I have fresh air again. Heh, I know this review may sound exaggeratedly good, but trust me, its not. If you were me, you would call these guys again every 5-7 years to keep the vents clean of allergens.

Wow! Amazing. My fireplace works, and its in good condition. Had to set up an appt and the agent who helped me set it up went through a few things that could be wrong with it. That helped me understand the process and set up the appt because I decided it needed a cleaning, by the sounds of things.When the gentleman came out to clean, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home and fam. Thank you for your work and ensuring my fireplace is safe to use for our hot chocolate nights ☕

What do I like about this company. Well, all of the above. The Techs provided quality service; clean, efficient, and meticulous. Their responsiveness with a follow-up call was reassuring and they were right on time. Now my gas chimney is running clean and safe. Great value for an outstanding service. Received good advice and recommendations prior to purchasing fireplace glass doors. Installation went well as well as used chimney sweep services. Would highly recommend this company.

The people at Southwest Chimney are just fabulous! They cleaned my ducts perfectly!!! From my furnace to every inch of duct in my house! They also gave me an education on what QUALITY duct cleaning is about! We highly recommend them.

Called looking to convert my fireplace from wood burning to gas logs. I got the feeling that they werent interested in my business. Advised me to hire a plumber then drive to their showroom to talk to them. I was expecting them to look at my fireplace, then advise me how to proceed.

Alex was the sweep, he showed up on time, was very professional, did a great job and cleaned everything up when finished. He was also patient with my questions. I highly recommend this company.

I had a family member just recently get serviced from this company paid a 1000 for leak repair and still leaking they refuse to even come out and check out why its still leaking... been scammed
