I had a great experience with SoBellas as my A/C unit died in the middle of last summer and I had called to price a new unit and everything went so smoothly that they were there a few days later to put on my new unit. They showed up right on time with a new unit and a crane to put up the new unit. They told me it would take about 4 hours and they had it all done within 3. Our tech, Cody came in and did a full inspection. He didn’t seemed rushed, taking all the time he needed to do it right. He advised me that a certain part was showing signs of normal wear and tear. He said not to worry, it still has a few years to remain operational. I have no doubt that other techs (a small percentage) would take advantage of this and label it as “must replace now”. The tech was honest and gave us a heads up on how much the part could possibly cost. I’m definitely sticking with SoBellas, fast, reliable, professional and most of all honest.

I had my tech Patrick T. He was amazing. Walked me by the whole process from beginning to end on why my dryer was not working. Patrick is so kind and nice and broke the processes into detail. Even cleaned up afterwards.I fully recommend them. I even recommend them to my sister that had a bad experience before from another company. For me to recommend anyone is a big deal cuz I’m very picky and high expectations are always what I want to see.

Saul B. Came to inspect my washing machine. He quickly and efficiently explained to me what the issue was and what needed to be done to repair. He was also bilingual and able to speak to my father. I also want to add that upon setting my appointment i was told before hand that there was a fee for having a technician travel to my home and diagnose my appliance, if i accepted the repair it would be waived if not it would be charged. I accepted those terms and made an appointment.

Sobellas makes getting semi annual maintenance on my heating/cooling unit so simple with their monthly installment plan. My technician Carlos gave me a call when he was about 15 minutes away so I had time to leave work. His work was extremely efficient and he was very knowledgeable and polite. If I could rate above 5 stars, I would. I have had so many different technicians repair my AC/heater during the seasons, and nothing compares to Jesus M. from SoBellas. When I switched my swamp cooler to AC this past summer, I hired Diaz Services, and they didnt turn on the water pump. It was an awful experience, and I was afraid of trying another new company out of fear they wouldnt do an honest and decent job. However, SoBellas really set the standard, and they have an awesome contract plan for both seasons. I was amazed by that, and when Jesus M. took care of us, he really did an amazing job. He was quick to answer any questions my grandma and I had and was super patient with our concerns and questions. He even noticed that screws were missing from the door that holds our water heater and furnace and fixed it himself. I dont think that door has had screws for more than 5 years because someone from an old job messed it up. Amazing service all around, and Jesus M. deserves a raise. You dont find good workers like this these days, and it really made me confident in trusting SoBellas. Ive been recommending this company to my family and friends now!

I am a landlord who owns several properties in New Mexico and Texas. My tenant called SoBellas to replace a pump in a Kenmore dishwasher. The part retails for about $52 and takes no more than 45 minutes to replace, including pulling out and inserting back the dishwasher -- lets say 1 hour. They charged almost $400. When I called to get a cost breakdown they would not provide that, understandably because somewhere they are gouging the customer, either in their hourly rate or parts markup. They also claimed my tenant proclaimed they were the owner which my tenant denies. Do not use these folks -- a company that charges twice what a repair should cost is dishonorable. Also, rely on the BBB website, not FB/Google etc., they have many complaints on BBB with a 2 out of 5 star rating.

Saul B recently came to perform routine maintenance on my AC/furnace. I have to say my expectations were exceeded by far! Saul took the time to explain everything about the units to me, how they work, what the optimal performance should be, etc. in detail. He is completely professional and a very nice guy. Its kind of difficult today to find a standout performance from someone you hire to complete work on your home, But his service was amazing. I will definitely have him come back in the Spring for air conditioning maintenance and upkeep. Lastly, Saul was 45 minutes early, which allowed me time to get on with my day and have time I didnt think I would have. Highly recommend Sobellas and Saul in particular!

I received excellent first time service for my Maytag washer from SoBellas Home Services-El Paso . I contacted SoBellas and spoke with Kate who was very professional & friendly and she scheduled me for a next day appointment within a 3-hour window. I then received an email from SoBellas confirming the appointment. The next day the technician, Eddie F. was also professional & friendly and called me within the window to alert me that he would arrive within 15-minutes. Eddie F. ran diagnostics on my washer and was able to clear and fix the error codes that were preventing the washer from working properly. My washer has continued to work properly this past week. Eddie F. did a great job at a very reasonable cost. SoBellas is a very professional company and I will definitely use them again if the need arises in the future.

We signed up for SoBellas Customer Care Club. It includes 1 service a year but has 24/7 monitoring. They install 3 different sensors which you can monitor via an app. Saul P. was the tech who stopped by. He was great, thorough, and patient with all my questions. I was impressed with the time he took to respond to my questions and share how SoBellas monitors our AC system on their end. You even get a credit via the app that you can apply towards the purchase of air filters.

Overall satisfied with the work that SoBellas provided for my home. Carlos Bernal was a great help when deciding on a unit for installation and was able to provide the brand of unit I was hoping for. Only leaving one star off since the electrical work did take an extra few weeks, but Carlos and the others were able to get back to me and it eventually got finished. Red flag: one of your employees seems to be soliciting work for someone else. Situation: I was sent a “comforter” to get a quote. Comforter came and within a minute gave me a very high price and then said “but I have a friend who owns a company and can do it for half the price”This didnt seem right and he never sent me the SoBella quote by email

We bought out AC Unit from Sobellas. Today our ac stopped working. I thought it was our thermostat (not the Sobellas one) so I called the company and they advised us it had to be the unit that is not working. My husband called today and they came within 30 minutes to install their own thermostat and within minutes the air was working again. Call SoBellas, Not “the guys I know for better deal”!! We got that first-home owner’s mistake and you don’t have to.We had swamp cooler last summer and were miserable. Someone I knew recommended a person who fixes A/C for his business (restaurant) with a good price but that person did not fix it properly and still charged $200, it stopped working within 10 days.So I ended up calling SoBellas and have new refrigerated air system installed asap, it has been working amazing so far with zero issue. Their technicians are way way more professional. They have real knowledge and experience!You get what you pay for.

SoBellas installed 2 new heat pumps on our roof. They were replacing 16 year old A/C units. Carlos went above and beyond finding the units we wanted. Very easy communication. A professional crew came in and the crane lifted both units with a total install lasting about 5 hours. All our questions were answered and the install went smoothly. Pricing was in the middle range of all our estimates.

Extremely poor experience from SoBellas. They came out to repair my elderly mothers dishwasher and failed to replace the screws that holds the washer in place, so the dishwasher pulls right out. I can verify that the screws were in place before the service appointment. SoBellas refused to come back to reinstall the screws they failed to put back in place and would only do so with ANOTHER service charge of $95, which is absolutely ludicrous. SoBellas claimed that there were no screws holding it in place when they arrived. Thats completely false and I have proof. You may have a good or better experience with SoBellas, however, this is the second time I have used them in two months. The first repair job they did on a clothes washer was also a bust. I will be looking elsewhere for a service/repair company that actually honors their policy.A follow-up response from SoBellas (mentioned below) is highly inaccurate, as confirmed by my mother and her neighbor. The neighbor had replaced and reinstalled the two screws to hold the washer in place. The SoBellas service technician left them on the countertop and failed to replace them, thus rendering his job incomplete. To ask to charge $95 for a service call to replace two screws that they failed to reinstall is not appropriate, especially for an elderly (and repeat) customer.

Cruz and Gamboa installed a tankless water heater in our old home today and did a wonderful job. They are so knowledgeable, thorough, clean and go the extra mile to make you happy. I appreciate SoBellas hiring such competent amazing people! Thank you!!

Don’t call Sobellas. I am an out of town landlord so I search for businesses that have good ratings, are recommended and are listed with the Better Business Bureau to do business with. I called Sobellas and hired them for a year contract to perform bi yearly maintenance on our 3 swamp coolers for $500 a year. This company does not know how to maintain swamp coolers period. After 2 years of having them service our three swamp coolers I find out from a contractor doing work on our property that one cooler has been leaking causing a drip off the roof splashing our stucco wall causing damage that I now have to have repaired. The last two times they have serviced our swamp coolers which includes cleaning hard water off of the filters they just left the filters covered in hard water residue. They also left the filthy water standing in the coolers. Very sloppy. Then the service man left a yellow bootie stuck in the filter! Because my filters were not being cleaned or replaced, my motors burnt out and had to be replaced. What did I pay them for??? I paid $650 dollars for new filters and cleaning from a different company. I have a $950 bill to repair the stucco one of the swamp coolers leaked onto. This company does not hire knowledgeable mechanics. They are a joke. I would never recommend them for swamp cooler maintenance or repair. Please hear me. Call someone else. It’s too hot in Las Cruces to mess around with Sobellas.

So the technician came on by, and was extremely polite. He went over, what he was there for was very clear and very concise. He also was very professional. The technician provided us with a very easy to understand explanation of how are system was doing, and if there was any issues with our system.Most companies will try to go sell you something, usually saying that theres a major issue with their AC when there isnt. This company did not do that at all, was very honest end up front with both me and my wife. I would definitely recommend.Oh by the way the technician was awesome!

Saul was very knowledgeable, fixed the problem and had superior customer service skills like you advertise on your commercials, unlike Angel. He kept his word and showed up even though it was late. We truly appreciate him doing that.

My sensor indicated a leak in my attic. Carlos came immediately after I called to fix it. He explained in detail what was happening and fixed the issue in a timely manner. He also changed my filter and did not leave a mess. Although I dont expect the area to remain clean because it is work that I need done, I still appreciate the respect and kindness!

I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. They exercise predatory business practices by misrepresenting the condition of consumer’s HVAC units.I posted another review on YELP and Angi’s List in which the business owner left a retaliatory reply that my heater was “unsafe” and “dangerous” and that I was “putting my family in danger” because my heater was 46 years old. This confirms my earlier review that they do not have the experience or skills to work on HVAC units and find it easier to scare and pressure unknowing customers into purchasing new units with a high mark-up price. This is a predatory business practice. My HVAC unit was just inspected and there is no danger to myself or my family. Nice scare-tactic but it’s not going to work. Now I understand why the technicians pushed so hard for me to purchase a new unit as this direction comes directly from the business owner. There’s more money to be made in new units.At no time did their technician inform me that my HVAC unit was unsafe or dangerous as suggested by the owner. All he continued to repeat was that there were no parts available and that they could not order them and that I needed to purchase a new HVAC. The technician even LIED to me and told me that he had contacted Johnstone Supply located here in town and that they could NOT order it. Johnstone carries almost anything a consumer could need as it relates to appliances. If they don’t have it, then they can order it. Within minutes of hanging up with their technician I made a few calls and confirmed that Johnstone had the part as they order them in bulk. I actually was able to get the original part. I contacted a more experienced HVAC company who came out and installed the part. Sobellas “may” install new HVACs efficiently but ask yourself if you really needed it. (To the Public) If you really are determined to purchase a new HVAC unit, shop around as this company has a high mark-up on their units. I DO NOT recommend this company. They are unscrupulous, unethical, they will LIE to you, and pressure the unsuspecting consumer to purchase unneeded equipment. At least shop around as there are other more experienced HVAC companies in El Paso.This was my 2nd time using this company and, in both instances, I got the same song and dance that my HVAC “was so old” and that it couldn’t be repaired because they don’t make the parts for it any more. At no time in during both of these service calls did their technician inform me that they thought my HVAC was “unsafe” or “dangerous.” Because of these false accusations, I will be reporting this company to the Texas Attorney General for misrepresentation and predatory sales. As a senior citizen I don’t appreciate companies taking advantage of consumers and acting in a fraudulent manner and neither should you!UPDATE 11/19/2024; for Business Owners Reply. Thats not going to happen. All that was needed were new parts. Inspected and runs like new. You and your technicians have demonstrated are not qualified to service HVACs. Im not going to fall for hard pressure sales! Maybe other people will, but I know a charlatan when I see one.

SoBellas was able to come out the next day to service my mothers AC. The technician that came out was Alberto. He was very polite & professional. He was also quick & thorough. He had a lot of tips for us as far as good & proper air circulation. He helped my mom tremendously and even changed the filters on his way out. Super job & fast turn around time, also great prices (senior discount).

We called SoBellas early Saturday morning as our AC completely gave out Friday night. We requested a free quote and the tech Patrick came out a few hours later. He walked us through the quote and was able to book our install for Tuesday. Our install techs were Carlos and Cruz and they were amazing. They got there early at around 8:30 and were very friendly and professional. By 2 pm they were done. Their install was so meticulous and clean. By the time they left it looked as if no one had done any work to the house. It looked super clean. They explained everything they installed and gave us best practice recommendations for maintenance. We are very pleased with the services and attention provided. We highly recommend.

The guys did a great job! A/C died Fri night. Did not want the extra fee for weekend service so waited until Monday. Juan T checked out my system and recommended an upgrade with my 13+ year old system. 0% financing for 4 years sealed the deal!Cruz Duran and his crew were here bright and early Wed morning and we were hooked up with cold air by 2PM.Carlos Gamboa and his crew upgraded my 13+ year old water heater to a tankless model. Great & easy service! Fixed my oven in less than 30 minutes. It was pricey (almost triple for the part compared to what they sell online) but isn’t everything these days. Service & part comes with warranty - so I guess makes up for it.

The part had to be ordered but they were friendly and sympathetic. As soon as the part came in, they called and were there then very next morning to install it. Our 10 year old 4 ton stopped working in the fall; thank God our heater got us thru the winter. It was no easy task trying to find someone that offers the customer service, financing options, quality work and reassurance on a decision like this. However, we are so glad we went with SoBellas. From my initial call with Tina to schedule the quote, to Carlos, to Cruz to the installation team Sergio, Ariel, Juan and David; it has been very pleasant. Not to mention, they are responsive, informative, reliable, and on time (even early which is also very hard to find). We had a technician come out on August 1st to look at our washing machine. After spending quite a bit of time looking at everything and supposedly cleaning the contact sensors, he told us it couldn’t be fixed unless we spent $600-825 to replace major parts of the washer. Obviously we declined the repairs because we could buy a new washer for that. Just out of curiosity before trashing the washer, my husband took it apart and looked at the sensors the tech said he cleaned. They still looked dirty, so my husband cleaned them and got a bunch of stuff off. He put it back together and the washer works perfectly now. I understand why we can’t be refunded the service fee, but I’m just frustrated at the situation because we could’ve been spared from buying a new washer at the moment, even if we need to in the future. It also makes me hesitant to use any repair services in the future, because now I feel like I can’t trust the tech’s “expertise”.

Greg is an amazing technician. Presented all the options available to fix the a/c issue, explained them carefully and calmly. Gave tips for making sure the equipment worked efficiently and for as long as possible. On the hottest week of the year we’re able to provide next day service and arrived on time. Can’t recommend So Bella’s enough.

Our AC went out over the weekend. I learned a couple of things - one, those businesses that claim they are open 24 hours, are not. Of the ones I called, only one returned my call and he said they didnt have anyone who could help...call on Monday. The other thing I learned was to make sure yearly maintenance occurs. I blew it. Things that make our live bearable dont fail during the week - they usually go at the worst time.Monday morning comes and I call SoBellas. I was greeted by a friendly voice on the other side who said they could help. She set up an appointment for that morning between 8:00-11:00 and stated that the technician would call 15 minutes ahead of his arrival. At 8:15, Saul called and said he would be at my residence in about 5 minutes. He showed up as stated, friendly, and very professional. He came inside and looked at the unit and almost immediately knew what the problem was. He went on the roof and looked at the outside unit. In about 15 minutes he rang the doorbell and explained what the problem was, how much it would cost in easy to understand language. I asked if he could perform regular maintenance since he was here. He explained the cost and I even subscribed to their annual maintenance program which in my opinion, was reasonable. In about half an hour, my AC unit was working and he performed the scheduled maintenance as required. The total cost? Lets just say that it was much, much less than I expected. This company responded promptly and professionally. Excellent service!!

Sobellas were the first company to call me back (some places never called me back) and could come out the next day when my AC was not working. Jesus M. came out and got us up and running quickly. Explained everything thoroughly and helped us arrange for a new unit to be installed a few days later. The install crew were very thorough and cleaned up well after themselves. Jesus even followed up afterwards to see how everything went.

This evaluation is not on repair performance but on pricing, lack of consideration, and perhaps outright gauging/exploitation. I called SoBellas yesterday to check a refrigerated unit that I thought was not turning off. The service person walked to thermostat and within 3-5 seconds told me that the fan was on on rather than on auto, and that was the reason the unit was not turning off and warming house after a while. The charge was $95 for a few seconds when nothing was broken, not a tool was pulled out, and no physical effort was made other than a few steps taken. The problem: an over-stretched caregiver who did not notice that someone had switched fan settings. Office staff declined to consider an adjustment and the manager or owner never returned my call.I have used SoBellas previously and have generated customers for them. A charge of $95 for a few seconds of observation (nothing broken) and a refusal to adjust outrageous fee do not warrant further referrals, especially where morality is in question.

I just had my winter maintenance done on my 2 units. Saul B was the technician. He did a fantastic job. He let me know about some safety issues regarding one of my units that no other tech ever mentioned…and that unit is 20 years old and these issues have been present the whole time. First, Joaquin came to the house to diagnose the problem and to discuss options. Though the price is painful, the best decision was to replace a 17 year old unit rather than to spend several thousand dollars fixing up a clunker. Next morning, the installation crew of Sergio and Ariel arrived first thing and completed the installation of the new unit in about 3 hours. They took great care to cover the carpet with tarps and protect the interior. They cleaned up all debris and hauled everything off. The new unit is working perfectly and I have confidence that the unit, a Ruud, is good quality. These folks may not be the cheapest around but they are very professional and responsive. I would certainly call upon them again.Had what turned out to be a minor issue today 6-4-24. Saul B came out and checked everything to ensure proper functioning. He was great at explaining things and answering all my questions. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I really like SoBella’s service. Good company.
