In both our main house and studio - being away from our home was a big concern for us in knowing who we can trust, but knowing fully well installing an AC and Heater was a necessity that needed to be done as soon as possible. Would not recommend this company to anyone. They paint a perfect picture of efficiency and customer service when trying to make the sale. The deal also sounds great and they’ll do anything to earn your business but once you commit to them is when they stop caring. We had our unit installed in 2023 and they did a messy job with our vents and stained our tile. The unit wasn’t even working correctly and we couldn’t get anyone to go out and fix it before we had a party to host. Unfortunately for our guests our house was over 80 degrees in June. Eventually they fixed it but not without giving attitude and them asking “what do you want me to do to fix it?” Fast forward to this year when we’re supposed to get our “first free servicing” as stated in our contract and we have not been able to set an appt. They’ve said they would be here at 3 for the past three days but have not shown up even when we call to confirm. Who ever is answering the phone to their main line is very rude and even said they were on the way without even asking who was calling.Bottom line is, if you value your time and money, go elsewhere. This company is terrible.

My husband and I decided to finally pull the plug on getting refrigeration installed in our 63-year-old home. It seems like it gets more humid every year earlier. We called several companies that either said they were coming out and didnt or just flat out did not answer their phones or get back with us.Edwin from Empire Refrigeration setup an appointment and showed up promptly. He was very professional and respectful and trustworthy. That was on a Friday and on Monday he had his workers out here ready to go. Within 2 days the install was done. There was a little hiccup on the first day but he had his guys out here the next day to fix it. Their work was very clean they closed up the hallway with plastic so dirt and dust was kept to a minimum. The city came and inspected the work. They worked very fast. And if youre still on the fence about getting refrigerator please do it. What a difference. I highly recommend Empire Refrigeration.
On January 2021, I purchased a Champion Heating and Cooling Unit for my house. It was installed on my roof. 4 months later, the unit started having problems. I called Empire, and they worked on it. Then 4 months later, the unit started having problems again, and I called Empire to work on it. Finally, 4 months passed, and the unit started having problems again, and I called Empire again. Empire never properly fixed the unit. They only gave me a one year labor warranty.It is now January 2025, and the unit continues to give me problems every 4 months. I am a single mom, and I cannot afford to continue to have to make the expense of fixing this unit.I believe that Empire sold me a defective unit.PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.I was taken financial advantage because I am a woman.

I just got my AC installed yesterday and the entire experience from start to finish was seamless. They have an entire crew of dedicated specialists and they all showed up, on time, some even earlier than expected, and began with their own tasks/projects and the install was just absolutely wonderful. It was a massive project that required some modifications where the old furnace used to be and they did an exceptional job and cleaned up after they were done. They were all professional and hard working. I highly recommend Empire! They know their HVAC stuff!
I cannot commend empire refrigeration enough on a job well done. I had the pleasure of speaking with Edwin Martínez and from the start he showed me with outstanding professionalism what excellent customer service is like. Edwin worked around my work schedule to accommodate a good time for a quote. During our meeting he answered in detail every question I had and went over the entire process step by step. I asked for a full a/c conversion including a new furnace and Edwin was able to get me an install date almost immediately after our meeting.The work was completed in less than a day and I could not be more amazed at the team that was sent out. The Workmanship and tempo of the work was magnificent. There was an excellent use of man power and resources that ran like a wellOiled machine. Everything was done neatly and you could barley notice that someone had been there. The team was extremely neat and cleaned up everything they did. There were a couple of things that had to be addressed in the following days but as I said before Edwin had meticulously explained the timeline of the install.During the install, an unexpected water leak from the old swamp cooler system caused me a headache but I could not have asked for a better response. I called Edwin about the issue and he IMMEDIATELY sent out plumbers to my home. Edwins response was so good in fact, that he was giving me updates of the drivers location as he got closer to my home. The leak was permanently shut down and all the stress lifted off my shoulders. The last thing that was taken care of was the roof where the old unit was sitting. The roof was covered up and shingled to perfection. I couldn’t even tell where the old unit was. The overall installation process was a great experience.I could not have asked for a better experience with empire refrigeration and especially Edwin. I held them in such high regard, I referred them to my sisters house where they did an equally amazing job. So they are 2-0 in my book.

My husband and I decided to let go of our master cooler and have a refrigerated air installed. We called two companies for a quote, Empire refrigeration was one of them and was first to come and give us a quote because they can come on Saturdays. Mr. Edwin came and was very thorough in letting us know what we need and what will happen during the installation. He gave us affordable financing options. We told him we will call him again to let him know if we will get the service of his company. We were impressed with his knowledge that after 10 minutes, we decided to get the service of Empire Refrigeration and cancel our appointment with the second company. Mr. Edwin came back after a few hours for the contract and set up our payment system. We scheduled the work after a week when we will be off from work. The men came on time! They were very skillful and worked together as a team. They finished the job within 5-6 hours and left everything clean. Everything was meticulously and precisely done! My family has been using a water cooled air conditioner for years. Once we started looking for refrigeration, it didnt take us long before we settled on Empire Refrigeration. Edwin laid out all our options and clearly explained the benefits and limits of each one. Once we decided on our unit, the installation process went by extremely quickly. They started and completed most of the work within a day, leaving only minor jobs and a small issue that was resolved fairly quickly. They installed me the cheapest ac unit with the lowest efficiency. Part is my fault for not doing my research in ac units, and I didnt bc I trusted them and thought they would be honest. They did not give me options of AC units, they said that the unit to be installed is one of the best, liars. They installed a Rudd, not recommended at all. They dont really care about the customer. At the beginning, everything is professional, but they really care about your money. Thought about hiring them again to replace my mothers and brothers, but will be looking for another and honest company.
Edwin was the sales man that came and gave us our quote last summer. He explained to us exactly what we needed and told us our financing options. We weren’t ready to proceed at the time but knew from his knowledge and professional that when we did proceed we would call him. Fast forward to last week my husband and I decided it was time to get our new AC system so we called Edwin and told him we were ready. He came right out and set up the financing once we got approved gave us the options for install dates. Yesterday they sent a team in and finished everything very quickly and effectively. Adam was the lead technician at installation. He was very professional explained exactly what they were doing. They had to make an attic opening in my garage to finish install which I was made aware of before the hole was made. Overall the service was excellent! Hugo and his team were very accommodating when it came to the install of our new unit. I live in AZ and Hugo was able to work with my schedule and have his team come out while i was visiting my mom. His team was great very professional and there to answer all our questions. It took about 4 hours from start to finish and the efficiency and timely manner his team works at is extremely impressive. They left no mess and showed my mom how to use her new system and thermostat. No surprise charges and not pressuring. Hugo and his team were pretty awesome. id highly recommend them. Fast forward to present day...When the time came to replace our fairly old units I remembered my encounter with Edwin and Hugo so I decided to give them a try. They came out and delivered excellent service. Their entire team was professional and made me feel very comfortable about choosing their company. .While most companies only do their job and bounce, Empire gives recommendations on what you could do to your home to improve the quality of the air and preserve the unit for the long haul. We had the greatest experience for our AC conversion with Empire Refrigeration.First, we met with Edwin who came for a visual inspection of our current installation. He was really corteous and listened to our needs. Right on the spot he gave us an estimate for two units and an very good financing plan. He offered to start the next day if we decided to go ahead. This had been the best estimate and make total sense, we called him back and within an hour we had our contract signed.They Empire team arrived the next day and after a few hours we had our house converted to refrigerated air. There were 5 or 6 team members that worked diligently. First they removing the old units and setup everything for the installation. A crane came an took care of taking up one of the AC unists and bringing down the two evaporative cooling units (the other AC was installed at ground level). We also had the electrical work (complete electric panel replacement and new wiring for the outdoor units) done at this time, the ducts cleaned and the registers replaced. At the end of the day we were enjoying the cool air from the new systems. Within a couple of days, the roofers came to complete the work in the roof which consisted on removing the remaining duct work from the old units and patching the roof with wood and shingles. Another team came to finish the outside water draining that goes into the ground.Edwin is a great guy, he checked on us and I mentioned we were not feeling a strong air flow in a couple of rooms. The next day he sent us two guys from his team and within ten minutes the issue was resolved. This is the best customer experience I could expect.Everyone from Empire was very corteous, they alwayd responded to our questions and requests. They helped us move the old units inside our garage while they get picked up. They are exremely clean in all their work and left no trash behind.
It was great professional service from start to finish! The entire team was professional and efficient. We switched out our MasterCool system to the Refrigerated system and we are not disappointed in the slightest. We are 100% satisfied customers! I would recommend them to anyone thinking of switching. Empire Refrigeration was very responsive to my initial contact about getting a quote for a new refrigerated air split system. Mr. Martinez had a quote the next day and I was scheduled for install that week. The personnel were extremely professional and did a great job explaining what was going to be done. The work was done in a single day and the system was up and running. The system runs great and the house is very comfortable now in comparison to the previous evaporative cooling which did not keep up with the heat. Angel, one of the employees was very helpful in assisting with the smart thermostat and made sure that all of the areas including the ducts were cleaned prior to leaving keeping with the professional work ethics I saw during the installation. I am thankful for choosing Empire Refrigeration and I would highly recommend them for AC work.
I was impressed with the company from the time they came to my house to give me a quote through installation. Edwin was very knowledgeable, and he answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. When it came to installation day, everyone was nice and they all introduced themselves. They worked fast, but did an excellent job. I have had a lot of people come in and do work in my house, but Empire has been by far my best experience.

The service was simply amazing from the estimate, through the financing, installation, repairs, and follow-up. Edwin was our main point of contact and he is not only honest, but also respectful, transparent, and knowledgeable. This company has figured out how to simply “do-it-right”, for they have teams for any disciple that might need to be involved during and after the project such as: HVAC, electricians, wall repair (handy-man), etc…. And even window installers! Moreover, they are very detail oriented in how they run conduit and connections. These guys were fantastic. Edwin came by one day with the paperwork, we got the financing squared away and in 2 days they were here. They installed the proper system for a house our size. And they were done in one day. Then they came by to make sure everything was fitted properly. They even cleaned after themselves. Peter and Edwin were fantastic and answered all of our questions. They installed my unit in 2021, they botched the “sealing” of where the swamp cooler was. They left the hole behind, so when it rained I had water damage inside my house. I called them so many times and every time they said they were sending someone, no one would show.And the story continues like that. Every time I call for a service they don’t show.Many days of leaving work early to be stoop up 👍🏼 😃

Empire Refrigeration did an outstanding job! Edwin checked out the problems we were having with cooling our home as it is long and our existing unit just was not cooling one side of the house. He came up with a plan to cool the kitchen, office, and laundry room with a smaller second unit. They were able to schedule our installation very quickly. The installation team was very knowledgeable and professional. We are all so happy with the results. It has made the biggest difference. He repaired duct work for free that was not in the proposal. They also install a larger electrical breaker that was not in the contact. They completed the work in one day and did a good clean up. I purchased my unit back in 2017 and they did a fantastic job. Had a problem with my air conditioning not cooling and with one call Hugo and his crew came out and fixed it quickly. I did a conversion from swamp cooler to central air. They were very professional and answered all my questions. Edwin kept us informed through the process. His crew did the work in less than one day and were very polite. They even cleaned up the area. They were great! They had great deals and a reasonable finance plan.

My husband and I called Empire Refrigeration 2 years ago for refrigeration air best decision we every made spoke with Mr. Martinez he helped us installing 2 units on our home . Now 2 years later we need a new roof on our home called Empire Refrigeration and spoke once again with Mr. Martinez and let me know they also install roofing after shopping around for a new roof Empire was the BEST estimate we received from 5 other roofing companies in El Paso TX. AllI have to say is WOW clean , fast and professional our roof came out so amazing, clean and beautiful ask for Edwin Martinez for any refrigeration AC units as well rogfing for your home or business .
We had HVAC/DUCT CLEANING WITH SOLAR PANELS INSTALL. The salesperson Edwin comes selling and promising about how Empire Refrigeration does a great job and clean your ducts and leave your house clean from the work done. It took us two days to clean our home to remove all the white dust of the sheet rock and the dust from the ducts because Edwins team didnt clean anything as they promised. He told us they pride themselves on communication after the sale and keeping you INFORMED , well Edwin never returns your calls or text messages, but he does before the sale. Edwin told us the HVAC job would take 2 to 3 days to complete (in contract too), well 3 weeks later after calls and text messages not returned to fix sheetrock work we had to communicate through Solar workers. Edwin also told us and in the contract that Solar Panels would take 4 to 6 weeks, well we are on the the 12th week and still not complete. Edwin told us that they would pay our Electric Bill for 2 months and in it was also in the contract and you have to call and text with no response to try and collect from Edwin the money for the electric bill payment. We ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE 2nd MONTHS PAYMENT. He now states they will pay our 3rd months electric bill because they are still not complete with the job, we had to get the owner involved, but still SAME TYPE OF SERVICE.We are so dissatisfied with Empire Refrigeration.I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
Edwin or Super Edwin as he should be called saved the day! My A/C wasn’t working and the thermostat was off. He worked me through the problem and provided excellent customer service. I would happily recommend this business for all A/C needs! I cannot thank Edwin enough for his help getting my A/C back up and running as the temperatures will reach upper 90’s tomorrow.

I contacted Empire due to the TV ads and a mailer I received. When I called, I spoke with Edwin. He was very helpful and promptly made an appointment. He was on time and was very professional, neat in appearance, well spoken and explained what I needed in terminology I could understand. His crew arrived on time the next day to begin the work. Each crew member (sorry I dont remember your names) was very friendly, introduced themselves and what they were going to be doing. I had air by 4:00 that afternoon. Andy and his crew showed up to do the follow up work and he was extremely helpful and did a good job, also explaining what they would be doing to finish the job. Empire did not require any money up front and no payment until I was completely happy. Great job, Empire.

On 4/11, I made a call to arrange an appointment, and spoke with a gentleman who scheduled it for today (4/14). During the conversation, I was informed that I would receive a call closer to the arrival time. However, I never received that call. At around 1:00 PM, I contacted the business to confirm whether someone would be arriving, and the person I spoke with promised to check and call me back. Unfortunately, I never received a callback from them. Later in the day, I made another call, but the same thing happened - I was told I would receive a callback, but I never did. I find this behavior very unprofessional, as it seems the business is unable to keep appointments. Given the unbearable desert heat, if you are looking for prompt service or someone who will actually show up, I suggest contacting someone else.
I am very satisfied with the work done by Empire Refrigeration. My bf recommended Empire to me and my family, and after a quick meeting with Edwin (awesome representative btw), we were sold. He provided us with an educator discount, provided us with transparency, and made sure that we would be taken care of quickly and effectively. The workers were also super friendly and very respectful of our home, family (as we have two people working from home on phone calls), and time. They fixed things that needed repairs, added an extra vent in our living room, and even repaired our ceiling right back to normal (it looks like there wasn’t even a big gaping hole). They made sure to clean up any messes that were made and any other problems that may have come up. They clearly explained how everything works - the dos and don’ts and all. AND, the air feels great! Went with Empire to converted to refrigerator air. Edwin did the paperwork and made the appointment to install. The day of the installation, they installed the unit. The installers did a horrible job. My roof was not patched right, the ducts were to long(the air wasnt cooling one of the rooms), they left trash in the attic and the main duct took the whole closet space (which Edwin explained to me that was not going to happen). Tech needed to replace two vents and never went back. The main air duct to the unit was not on right. I found out a week later when I got solar panels. My unit makes a loud noise when the unit is on from the outside. Called Edwin and informed him. He sent a tech out to fix it. A few days went by and the unit started making the same noise. My unit made a loud sound then shut off, did not want to cool. Called Edwin, he gave me attitude and said he made a work order. He told me if they dont make it, it because they closed. Im very disappointed! My unit was just installed last year and I have several problems. As a single parent with a toddler, a parent and an autistic sister in the house this company took advantage of me!

Thier prices are most competitive, and their service is Exceptional. On the day of installation, there were at one time, about seven people working in my house. Each in their designated area of expertise. The work was done efficiently and properly. They took care of other little issues that came up during the installation, and were done without additional cost to me. I am 100% satisfied with this company.

I called to schedule for my refrigerated air units to have their yearly maintenance done on them. I was scheduled for a Saturday morning at 10 am. At 11:15 am they still had not shown up. I called the office and a lady told me she would call be back. She did not, so I called back about 30 min later. Edwin answered this time around and apologized about it since the technician had been stuck at another job. He offered to deduct from the quote he had given me. We then scheduled for the following Saturday at 12 pm.After I hung up with Edwin the technician called around 12:30pm to ask if he could come over. At that time we were leaving our home. I told him we wouldn’t be home and I explained that a phone call would’ve been appreciated to say he was running late. He proceeded to hang up on me.I decided to give them a chance based on the great review they have. The second Saturday came around. at 1:30pm they still had not shown up! I called the office same lady answers and says she’s not aware that there was a scheduled slot for us. She was going to call the technician to see if could come. At this point I had to say no, since it had already been several bad instances with them. She didn’t even sound apologetic and said ok.I truly wanted to give them a chance and maybe it was bad luck for us.

Had these guys put in the Refrigerated Air Conditioner in our house and it has been a Godsend! They came out it in in 1 day tops, that afternoon a cleanup crew made sure it was all clean before they left. If I have ever had a question, or if something has needed to be looked at they are here within the hour! We are very happy with the service! Plus they worked with us on making payments! I have two elderly parents and its been horrible this past week having to sleep in one room where i have a portable refrigerated ac unit. I called Empire and they came out like next day, cause i called on a Saturday of course, and gave us the total cost for refrigerated ac, air ducts, and install. Hugo didnt mind having to come back to run credit checks for both my parents, and they have great financing options for those with good to excellent credit. I have close friends that recommend them because they do quality work and fast.
Edwin came out to provide an estimate to have ductwork redone and a new unit installed. He is very knowledgeable in his profession, very kind, and also has top-of-the-line customer service skills. At first I was hesitant, however, his impeccable skills, experience, wisdom, and positive personality have me feeling much more confident in whats to come next.

I scheduled 4 contractors for estimates in December when the work was to be done, only 3 showed up, 1 was an idiot, 1 was a good contractor I have used in the past, and the other was Edwin from Empire. I went with Empire because they were able to do the complete job, including the sheetrock work that needed to be done after my ductwork was moved from my ceiling into my attic. Very small attic, the ductwork pretty much fills it but wow my house looks great now because of it. Anyway Edwin was by far the most knowledgeable of the contractors. He explained every detail to me from start to finish (I like that because my wife always has 1000 questions afterwards I have to answer). His crew was awesome, as my luck would have it, it froze the night the new system was installed, but they made sure my heater was working properly before they left so I never went without heat. It took 5 days for them to finish the job including the sheetrock work and patching all the old register holes in every room, and adding 12 inches of insulation in the attic. My system is AWESOME, I had a repair done today, I called, they sent the technician to diagnose it, and another tech showed up that same day to install the parts. Way to go EMPIRE, thank you so much for your professionalism and customer service. I forgot I qualified for 60 months no interest!!! Start to finish exceptional quality and service. Edwin sales consultant delivered on everything we discussed. He was super friendly as you would have expected, but he is a genuine straight shooter. The install went better than expected. Started on time, a well timed operation took the whole day, and cold air by 1700. The various teams from demolition, to sheet metal and install, and electrician were all professional, focused, and friendly considering cvd-19. They wore masks and kept work areas clean and disinfected surfaces prior to leaving. Multiple follow ups by Edwin and comfort manager Hugo. We contacted multiple HVAC businesses and Empire Refrigeration was by far the best. They responded quickly to my inquiry and the initial free estimate/consultation with Edwin was great. He evaluated our house, gave us his recommendations and provided us a detailed quote of the cost as well as all the specific items that would be included. When the team arrived to do the removal of our Evap Cooler and the installation of the new A/C and furnace, they worked quickly and kept our house as clean as possible during the process. Not only did Hugo have the HVAC technicians install everything but he also had his electricians do all the electrical work, and he had dry wall repair men, and he even had roofers repair the roof where the mastercool was located. All the work was done with perfection! It was very convenient for me and done quickly. My new Trane AC unit is wonderful and the heater works wonderfully as well. I called Empire Refrigeration and with a day I received a call from a representative, Hugo Escalante. He was very patient with me and explained the process. I love their service and installation of conversion from evaporative cooling to refrigerated air. Very polite, clean, they know how to work, and straightforward. I now have both mini split units and refrigerated unit on the roof. I can tell a difference in the temperature when it gets very humid outside and cool to cold inside. Decided to install a combo unit on the Mobile home of April of this year. After inspecting the work attachment to the existing duct under the home was not fitted up properly. So called sent pictures and the installers came out and fixed the issue. Cooler kept freezing up afterwards so called again and a service tech came out about a week later looked over the system and discussed the issue. Came to the conclusion that we had to keep the cooler at 78 to function properly. Well just yesterday oct 25 we attempted to turn on the heater at night. Opened the gas valve and set the temp heater never turned on. So gave the company a call and informed them of the issue. Informed me that there was something on the cooler that was not switched on so hopefully it does not freeze before the technician comes around. So my advice to everybody is to shop around before employing Empire for your HVAC needs.

Empire Refrigeration installed a HVAC Trane unit at my house in January of 2020. Great bunch of very professional technicians! The entire job only took about half a day. Everyone had their particular task and job to do and they worked together as a team very efficiently. They were also very polite and respectful and answered all of my questions or concerns. The unit has been working beautifully!Heres why 4 stars and not 5.......My house lot isnt very wide and the outside Trane unit, being installed per city code, left little room for me to walk around it without entering the neighbors property. The tech who installed it said that after the inspection they would return to move it in a half foot or so to give me some more clearance. Well I called several times, spoke to Edwin, and he had a tech come to the house and check it out. The tech said he would setup a time to do it. It never happened and I called again with again no results. A bit frustrating.....

They promptly installed refrigerated air on May 10, a/c operated flawlessly all summer! When cold snap arrived October 26, apparently heater switch was not activated! Had problems with cold! Edwin was called by neighbors since they also had issues with their heater! Luckily Edwin came over and activated heating unit in this home and will return to replace fuse in neighbors home today! Talk about efficient! Too bad this predicament wasnt explained in the heat of the summer!

The peolple from Empire were very profesional and respectful. Sometimes they went out of their way to give me what I wanted. Like when I ask for my unit to be placed at the back of my house instead of the fron. The person installing it had to reconfigure everything in order to put it in thae back, but he did..The only negative issue was the roofing company they contracted to repair the roof. They were extremely disrespectful and their work was horrible. I had to redo what they had fixed my self. Other than that , it has been an excellent experience.

Several weeks ago I scheduled an appointment to have my AC serviced, nobody showed up. I called the next day, got an apology and was told someone would stop by the same day in the afternoon. Received a call later that day, got another apology, and an offer to re-schedule the appointment with a 50% discount. I agreed, the new appointment was scheduled for 07/27/2020. Again nothing happened, not even a phone call with more excuses. Customer service at its worst, not even worth a single star.

They did the electric work even upgraded our electric box they took out our old swamp cooler and even did the roofing we didnt have to hire any extra help! I had Edwin from empire refrigeration to install two units in two different homes he did an excellent job and when one unit was defective they changed out the unit in a timely manner they covered up all drywall neededI recommend this company for you a/c conversion great job guys

Empire installed two 5 ton units at my residence. They accommodated my scheduled. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the work thus far. Update 10/30/2020: today heat and electrical fixed as well as other issues. Very nice employees and workmanship was to my satisfaction. They have since applogize for delay. I will keep this company as my primary for future equiptment maintenance, lets see how they do. I would have given 5 star but I cant overlook my original compalint.Had two 4-ton HVAC units on the roof, replacing two old furnaces with two 2-stage furnaces, taking down old equipment (including electrical and thermostats), repairing roof openings left by old coolers, and upgrading electrical from 150amp to 200amp, adding a vent, and all required permits would be submitted to county/city/state. I was told it was a one-day installation, which I was really impressed because all other proposals from other companies had told me it would be from two days up to a week. I have made two payments and yet: The A/C work but lights in the house still dim when engaged. Electrical in the roof is dangers because it was simply cut but not disconnected. Electrical upgrade (200amp) is still not done, we have not heat, thermestats are hanging from wall, and I have not seen any permits. I have to keep chasing this company for over two months to complete a job that was supposed to be done in one day. They good hard working installers and I really wanted to give them 5 stars, but Im making payments on an incomplete installation and now that its cold, we have not heat... should I start looking into a lawyer?
I called them for maintenance purposes because they were referred by the Trane Website. I had to reschedule 3 times because they never showed up for any of the scheduled times. I cannot believe I gave them 3 chances. Be carefull to all those who seek their service and are first time clients. I have no idea how people actually get service performed by them. I have no idea how Empire functions as a company. Be careful to all.
I made an appointment for Empire to check my refrigerated air unit because it is not cooling like it should be. The man I spoke to at Empire told me if they could not be there that same day they would come today at 2:30 pm. I called them today at 3:00 pm and told them I was still waiting for them. They asked me my name and address then had the nerve to ask me if I was sure I had called them. They said they had no appointment for me. I am very disappointed in this irresponsible company and refuse to do business with them. They made me waste a whole day for nothing. Since it’s Friday I am going to have a hard time finding someone else to come but I’d rather find an honest company that is organized company and has integrity than one like this one.
I contacted them on Memorial Day and they arrived within an hour of calling. Customer service, price of work, and the repairs made were great. These guys are locally owned and I will always call them if I have any problems with my AC. Great experience.
I was desperate and miserable because my a/c went out and this team of professionals saved the day. I had an older unit and they were able to order the part I needed and installed it quickly and efficiently. A plus for me is the fact that they are Christians and to my surprise, attend the same church as me. God was glorified through their excellence and I would recommend them highly.
I just want to say that Hugo Escalante and his crew were on time and professionally installed both units, repaired the air ducts. On Monday the sheetrockers came and repaired the air duct and they did noticed that they had covered up the vent that leads to the den.And Sergio came in to replace the two registers that were missing. I then noticed no air was flowing to the den area I advised Sergio and he contacted Hugo of the situation and proceeded to correct the problem, it took a couple of days more but it was ok cause we did have air through out the rest of the house. Sergio came back and corrected the problem with flex tube and air started to flow. This young man went above and beyond to satisfy us. Its their motto get it done. I highly recommend Empire Refrigeration. Thank you again and sorry for the discrepancy.
Edwin suggested the most efficient system for the best price. Adam went the extra mile to complete the install. The new system replaced my swamp coolers and will improve my familys health. No more climbing on the roof! The best in El Paso.

Perfect install but then I ran into problems with my air duct. They stopped responding and would not send anyone to my house after I tried to contact them twice. Covid got bad so I didnt reach out to them any more and they forgot about me. I have been without refrigerated air or any heating during the pandemic. Its been horrible and I wont be going back to this company.

Great service, Fast service, Awesome crew. Replaced all my ductwork and didn’t even charge a cent. Showed me every little thing they did and were doing when they clearly took time out of the job to keep me informed. Low monthly payments little to no rate at all. Amazed is all I can say.

Sad to say I have reached out to this company 4x each time telling me someone will come over to diagnose my AC but never showed. Did not get a phone call or anything. No regards to peoples time or empathy. Would not recommend this company to anyone at all.
This review is on behalf of my dad they showed up when they were supposed to they installed the epuipment except for 2 registers, which they said will come back the following day because they didnt have the right measurements. and up until today its been already three weeks and they have not followed up to replace 2 simple registers or troubleshoot the airflow issue which room one room is not receiving any air flow. Sorry dad i needed to vent
Empire is a great place to get your ac from whether it’s a new one or swap out for refrigerated air very helpful office answered quick and Edwin’s the salesman was very helpful and had lots of knowledge on the ac he picked the right unit for my house and the unit works great and the installation crew was great on time and polite and answered any questions I had would definitely recommend this company and Edwin to any one looking for new ac.

Unfortunately all I can review this company on is their inability to call when they miss an appointment for an estimate. I had an appointment at 11:30 and they didn’t show or call until 2 hours later. Someone did show up at my door about 4 hours after the appointment saying they couldn’t show up on time because he had a dentist appointment. I’m sorry but for me that is a big red flag.

Im satisfied with unit and installment. What Im not happy with is that they told me to call to get service in August but the girl said I still had time to call back. Well here it is October and I call and nobody answers the phone. Someone answered on Saturday and told me I will call u back in 15 minutes here it.is Wednesday and nobody has called. And nobody answers the phone either they have signs all over town to call to get refrigeration but nobody answers.

Poor workmanship and job not complete couple of months later. Keep calling Edwin so he can come or send someone to finish job but female receptionist says hes not available nor do they return my calls.
I called at 9pm because our air conditioner was not producing cool air. The gentleman who answered explained that they did not have an available appt for over a week; however, he helped me trouble shoot over the phone and it worked! Very helpful!

Spoke to Edwin twice (9am then again at 3pm) he assured me that a tech would show up at my house our refrigerated AC that was installed by them was not cooling we were at 90 degrees in our home lost a WHOLE DAY waiting for someone We could have called another company to get that fixed

I have called the company 4 times. 4 times, they said they would send a technician. To this date no technician, no phone call. I gave up calling them. And I am still missing vents. I had the system installed in November of last year.

Called them to service air conditioner no one ever showed up. Tried to call again the did not answer the phone they gave us scheduled a date did not show up. If I had known all this I would have gone elsewhere no one ever called us back.
