Once again I needed the services of Cool-Air to check out one of my units that was not cooling. I sent Carlos a message on Sunday evening. Not surprisingly, he responded in less than a minute informing me that he would be at my location the following morning. Sure enough, he arrived at my house at 7:30 am before the unrelenting Valley heat would start to tighten its claws on us. He found the problem immediately and remediated it in less that 30 minutes. We can always rely on Carlos and the Cool-Aid team to provide quick, friendly and professional service at a reasonable rate.

Have had a few AC breakdowns in the last couple years and Cool-Aid is always there within a couple hours at most to fix it. I called this company to repair my new AC unit. The man walked out with a big part of the AC unit claimed it was that. The same issue I had with the Ac coming out hot in the day and cooling at night continued after a few days. This company used duct tape to keep the hot attic air from coming into the house it worked for a few days but the duct tape fell. This is the only company I ever called to repair my Ac since my house is new. I called a new company and found out this place are liars. I believed them paid over $900. So sad that they are horrible dishonest people.

Called Carlos at 7:10 am. Said I needed AC repair. Not blowing cool air. Carlos said he could be there between 1:30 and 3pm. I said I would be waiting. At 11:30 he calls and says he can be there in a hour. 45 minutes later he arrives. Does a quick trouble shoot, allows me to see his meter and says it is the capacitor. Arrival time to finish with cool air blowing 15 minutes. I told Carlos there were two reasons I picked his company. 1 I like to keep my money in my community supporting the small businessman. 2 the number of positive reviews. My A/C messed up this past weekend. We had been having problems with our unit for months and our home owner’s insurance sent a horrible company out nearly 12 times to service our unit but they never fixed the problem or properly addressed the issues. We cancelled our policy and contacted Mr. Rivera to help us out. He gave us some options and was very thorough. In the end, we purchased a new unit. This summer had been HORRIBLE with our old unit. Ever since Mr. Rivera installed our new unit, our house has not only been really comfortably cold but the AMOUNT of air and the pressure coming through the vents is like nothing we had ever experienced in our house! We never thought we’d be as excited about something as we are about our new a/c unit. Mr. Rivera even followed up a week after to make sure all was well. Excellent customer service & fast installation. We are beyond grateful!

Cool Aid came to the rescue! They came to my place the same day I called, they gave me a quote and 2 days later I had a brand new system. I was quite surprised since it has been consistently over 100 degrees for weeks and I know these folks are BUSY!! My old AC, before it died, only cooled my park model to about 80 degrees, the new one is performing much better! Im very pleased with the responsiveness and the value that Cool Aid delivered!

The AC technician Carlos, changed a part (a capacitor) without asking the customer first. Then he charges $160 for this. He could of asked first, then let the customer decide. This is not good practice, never do something without the customers consent. I had a new capacitor in my garage , could of saved me alot of money. Dual capacitors cost under 20 dollars. I could have done this myself, lesson learned.

We came home from month long trip only to find our house AC dead. I called Cool Aid and ended up talking with Carlos. What a find!!! He came to our house with in the half hour, showed me why it would never work again. It was so hot in our house that we spent the night at a motel. Carlos and Raul brought over a new and improved one first thing the next AM and had it installed and the old one gone in an hour and half. We were back in our house and cool that morning. I had issues with JC Air Conditioning out of Edinburg, I hired them to fix my A/C. After 10 days of going no where I decided to contact Cool Aid Air Conditioning yesterday at about 530pm. They answered the call for service that JC couldnt do, Cool aid came the next day in the morning at 9am and replaced the coil. Woke up to find our a/c dead. We had been working with a company that had already fixed it twice and wouldnt be able to come out until the next day. Luckily we were able to find Carlos. He came over immediately and we learned why it kept breaking. He explained to us what happened and how to fix it. You can tell he was so experienced with all the knowledge he had. They do a great job, in and out within a few hrs and financing available for those who are afraid of the big price tag. At the end of the day my light bill will be cheaper so this new AC will pay itself off.

A/c unit starting leaking ( sweating ) from the unit I called cool aid to come to see what was the problem. Gentlemen checked it out stated that one of the drain pipes was clogged and charge me $80.00 to unclog the pvc pipe. Problem kept outgoing called cool aid three more times same charge $80.00, a total of 4 times. The fourth time cool aid checked out the a/c unit for the same problem cool aid didn’t even unclogged the pipe this time, my drywall panel got damage. Of so many times calling cool aid I ask how can my problem be fix, cool aid state that I needed a new a/c unit that cool aid will charge me a whopping $3,800 something that I was not expecting. So I decided to make some calls and long story short I called carrier company, and the company send out a technician, the gentleman was very generous that he showed me how to unclog the pvc pipe, carrier tech encourage me to unclog the pipe every month to prevent this easy problem. The carriers tech actually fix the problem by putting teflon tape. Ever since problem fix. Cool Aid A/C Thumbs down for me..
