The Coomes Air Conditioning and Heating have done an excellent job for us. Weve been using them for years, and most recently, they updated our air conditioning/heating system. I rely on Coomes A/C and Heating to keep us cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We have them come out in the spring and in the fall to make sure that our system is working properly, and their technicians always do a thorough job of making sure were ready for the upcoming season, and let us know if anything needs to be addressed. In the roughly 20 years Coomes has been servicing our system, I can only thing of maybe twice that weve had issues, and theyve been quick to respond and fix them right away. But mostly, its the peace of mind knowing that the system has been thoroughly checked and potential problems caught before they can become real problems.

We can always count on Coomes and, especially, Scott D. to service and maintain our HVAC system. Scott is always thorough with our seasonal check ups and takes the time to explain what he did and helpful tips. Top notch service and company.

This AC technician was very thorough and listened well to all my concerns. Although I don’t believe I had seen him in years I was surprised he recognized me and I recognized him from a previous job years ago. Very pleased with his work today only wish he had been able to come earlier in the day

Gabe was informative, professional and friendly. Initially mentioned worse case scenario but worked with his supervisor (colleague)via phone until he found true issue wth my HVAC. Dirty coils were impeding air flow and throwing everything off. Its obvious this company is about the customer and not upselling or scaring folks into unnecessary equipment and labor. I didnt have any past price comparisons, as my system is relatively new, but I was comfortable with what I paid for the attention and resolution I got. Will be recommending and using Coomes again.

I needed to order a faceplate cover in a different color for my thermostat. It snaps on, literally could not be more simple. These guys refused to order it unless they could charge me an installation charge. To snap a faceplate on... Im not sure why everyone is so greedy nowadays and lack any goodwill, but these guys are not it. Found another distributor that ordered it for me and will let me just come pick it up.

Parents signed up to be a recurring customer. They come change the air filter twice and year and just recently sent along a salesman to try to convince my elderly parents to put in a whole new unit when there is NOTHING WRONG with the existing unit. I believe the salesman said something like buy now, youre a customer; buy when your unit goes out, youre a victim. What!?!? They are Coomes customers and have been for years, and now the salesman tells them if the a/c goes out in the heat of summer Coomes will victimize them? I am extremely disappointed by the unethical business practices of Coomes.

Not just estimates but with pictures and relevant information, hes got us fully briefed and right way round how to navigate crummy Texas unpredictable winter weather and take care of our investment (and our lungs).

Jimmy was awesome. Had some minor things wrong and he went out of his way in explaining every single thing that needs to be done. I highly recommend this company and Jimmy. I had a competitor of theirs out here weeks ago, 3 mins charging me way over the price and diagnosed the wrong issues. The company starts with the alphabet and followed by a number. Jimmy on the other hand was here longer looking at all areas to give us the right diagnosis and to help us with future planning in a new system that will be needed.

William Gupton performed a checkup and an inspection on our systems today. He was so pleasant and helpful taking time to explain how our systems were doing and what we can do to get better performance. He provided pictures of our system and clear cost for any improvements. He was very nice to come out on Memorial Day. It was a false alarm on our part. Ac compressor quit working while it was still blowing so we turned it off. When he got here he turned it on and started getting cold again.
