I requested a diagnostic on my A/C outdoor unit. Got texts back to come the next day, then they rescheduled twice. the gentlemen who came to my home were great but billing was odd. the bill came weeks later, the website double charged me, then they did not issue a refund for the overpayment and told me to dispute through my bank. - hassle.

Bottom line: dont count on them.2 stars for past work where they actually showed up. Last few times they have no showed and not followed up. Last week they told me they would be there the next day in the morning. I cancelled my morning to be there for them. No show, no call, no text. I called them at noon, they said later in the day. Cancelled my evening. Again, No show, no call, no text. The next afternoon called and I was spoken to like I was the a--hole for asking what happened to the appointments. I was told we will get to you, but then here we are now 4 days later with nothing but empty promises.

I cannot say enough about Larry and his team , they have always found time to help when something has broken , respectful, professional, good people , appropriate prices - I have relied on them a 1/2 dozen time over the last 8 years - they are truly awesome - thank you Larry

Super responsive, came out same day. Didnt treat me like a girl. Had a great sense of humor and my dogs liked the technicians (true judges of character). If youre a lady or a new home owner with no HVAC knowledge, work with these guys, theyll treat you fairly and not rip you off.

After trying a few other companies, Hill country A/C came through and resolved my problem with heating. I can’t say enough good things. You’ll be my go to in the future.

BEWARE!My a/c was running hot and cold combined. The tech changed a relay and or a fuse, temp at time of was 80+ he put his hand over vent and stated aloud alot better to me the air temp had slight to no change, atleast not much noticeable at time of repair. I told him Ill notify him of the condition after a few hours. From 10am -9pm Temps of 88+ throught night. I called and texted these images to him, and I got a reply via text. Ill call you later. it took me spaming his messages, but still no call. I had to reach out every day after to even get a invoice sent came out to about $400 and my a/c still about 80+ during the day, I can say Im not satisfied and am extremely disappointed in this company.

Dont waste your time with these guys. Contact another HVAC team. They No showed twice. No follow up or communication. At all. After the first Scheduled appointment I finally got them (after Multiple texts and calls). Said theyd be there the following day. Didnt show up. No follow up after I sent multiple texts and vmails. These guys will leave you hanging.

Our A/C went out over Easter Weekend but luckily Hill Country A/C was able to work us in on Monday. I called several of the big name companies and they were all booked until Wednesday or later. I spoke with the owner first thing this morning and he had a crew here by noon. They were very polite and courteous and had our A/C cooling again within 20 minutes. Great service!!! THANK YOU!!!

Larry is the man. During the Feb 2021 freeze our furnace stopped working. Larry answered the phone at 1:30 am and walked me through some trouble shooting to no avail. He came out the next day despite the roads being covered in ice and started figuring things out. It was a complicated repair with multiple components having failed. Our furnace was only 4 years old and the heat exchanger was cracked. Big repair. Larry took care of reaching out to the manufacturer and getting the warranty coverage on the cracked heat exchanger. His rates were fair and he was so helpful and kind during a crazy week. Not a day has gone by during these 2022 freezes that I have not appreciated all of Larrys hard work and our furnace that has worked perfectly through it all. I highly recommend Hill Country A/C!

My A/C conked out last week and Larry came out same day and gave me a quote. Got three other quotes and Larry beat them all. He & his team does fantastic work and does it efficiently and expertly. I highly recommend Larry and his team - call him for a great deal and excellent work - he installed a brand new system in one day so if you want a good guy, call Larry!!!

Will never call anyone else for AC repairs. Called two other places first and no one could come until next week (it’s over 100 degrees). Called Hill Country at 5pm (closing time on a Friday) and Larry said he could stop by after his last call which he was still at. Within 15 minutes Larry had our AC unit back up and running again! Larry was friendly, polite, professional, knowledgeable and fast! Thanks Larry, you are our hero this week!!!

Larry was my savior! I called him and he was here within 15 minutes and took care of my problem (which was called by another companys mistake). I was at work by myself while my boss was away and was very stressed by the situation. Larry and Hill Country A/C Solutions will be my forever go to A/C repair solution. Fast. Very nice. Very fair. I was highly impressed with the courtesy and promptness of this service. The amount of knowledge I gained in the short time he was here was worth every penny of the service. I will enjoy the rest of the weekend by relaxing in my cool A/C thanks to these guys. 3rd times the charm. We had 2 other companies that charged an arm and a leg to fix our A/C, and didnt. Nobody else noticed that our thermostat was the big problem. I highly recommend you try Hill Country A/C Solutions.

From beginning, said would call to confirm diagnostics appointment Never happened, less than professional technicians arrived whenever. Called repeatedly to schedule work. this company has preferred client list and ignores the rest. DO NOT USE!!!!

Would not recommend. Ive been waiting on service for 10 hours. I was told he was on the way hours ago, now he wont return my call and his voicemail is full. Its 10 oclock at night. I have no ac, its summer and my girlfriend is 8 months pregnant.

Made 2 attempts to have service done with this company. The first time, I was told they may get out to my job later that day depending on the workload of emergency calls. Never showed up. I called them again. Set the date for following Monday but again, they never showed up or called. Today, I received call from them but too late. We found someone else.

Woke to all the smoke detectors going off last Sunday; determined source was in the attic, coming from heat pump (furnace) and called the fire department. The firefighters were extra cautious and sprayed halon throughout the entire duct system. :( Called Larry from Hill Country A/C and he was at our house within minutes of the firemens departure...ON A SUNDAY!!!! :) This guy had his crew out Monday to remove the old duct work, then completely installed the new duct work on Tuesday (very quickly). He did not gouge us with labor costs and was able to replace parts; rather than an entirely new system! EXCELLENT, HONEST, RELIABLE GUY! Give him a try and you will not be disappointed.

Called on a weekend hot summer day when our AC quit. Came when others could not. Promptly identified issue (thankfully minor) and cleared it in minutes. Cool again. Very reasonable price. Friendly. Recommend.

Was super impressed. I called this company for a yearly tune up. They found a pretty major problem with blower motor shaft. They took it out to the truck and made repairs to the motor shaft and did not try to sell me on an expensive replacement. Appreciate the honesty...

Larry was very respectful of or time, he was helpful and went above and beyond to get or a/c fixed. We had a son that just had spinal surgery when it went out. Highly recommend him.

A/C went out in the middle of the night and we called Hill Country A/C around 6:30am. They had a tech out by 8:30am and cool air was flowing by 9am! Highly recommend.
