Beware and read reviews on this business. They put in old parts when dealing with your home warranty provider. We had a fan motor go out on the outside unit, Kevin the service guy put on a rusty old fan motor and when asked about it said they use new parts. If we had never checked it out and noticed it was old we would have been ripped off. Once caught they came back out and put on a new fan motor. When speaking to Carl about this situation he acts like it was no big deal. I’ve never heard of someone not caring about their business. No apologies or sorry from this company. Not a reputable company, stay far away from them. Also attached a previous review and picture from another customer that had a home warranty.

The people knowledgeable and took time to explain my options in as much depth as I requested. Within a few minutes they made very competitive bid and he offered to get the work including permit requirements within just a few days. The work was completed in the time he had quoted.. Again, the guys an took the time to describe and explain what was done during the panel replacement. Power back on and no casualties in the freezer or refrigerator.City inspection green tag issued as expected.Carl followed up with to make sure I was happy and satisfied with the work and process.I will recommend these guys further!

Great team at Rayford AC! I called for a quote on replacing all my ceiling fans and they talked me into upgrading to a central cooling system. They arrived right on time, and installed everything just in time before the hot summer season. I definitely plan on being a loyal customer in the future.

Professional, knowledge, and did great work!I stopped taking bids after speaking with these guys.Carl and his electrician promptly arrived on time to estimate my panel replacement. Both were knowledgeable and took time to explain my options in as much depth as I requested. Within a few minutes Carl made very competitive bid and he offered to get the work including permit requirements within just a few days. Carl’s guys started on time and made short work of the panel. The work was completed in the time he had quoted. The 1970’s old aluminum wiring posed no problems to crew. Again, the guys and carl took the time to describe and explain what was done during the panel replacement. Was in urgent look out for an ac replacement due to it breaking down from this heat!! I looked everywhere else and no one was willing to come down last minute to do the fixing that I needed urgently specially with kids and pups at home!Until I came across Rayford A/C and they got the job done with no hesitation. What absolutely got me was the great community service and the determination to meet what I was asking for, besides their amazing customer service, services the installation was fast and very efficient, my ac was up and running in no time!! These guys took really good care of us and saved the day for everyone in my home!

I will never choose another A/C company again. Needed a new A/C and water heater installed and was extremely nervous about the whole process. Decided to go with Rayford HVAC and I was not disappointed. Everything they do is professional and timely. Great speed and precision on install and making sure I was aware throughout whole process. Will be using again for future HVAC needs.

This company demonstrated professionalism and expertise. They made sure that all my permit requirements were met within a few days. They completed the work in a timely manner and handed the challenges of outdated wiring. My power was restored without any issues. Also, they quickly responded to our urgent need for an AC replacement during the summer heatwave, thank God (it was hot!). I highly recommend these guys, they’re great.

Radford A/C and Heating to the rescue. They came in an installed a new HVAC system for our home and we love it. Its been hot this summer so its very much appreciated!!! They were very courteous and gave us the earliest slot they had and did a great job. The team that came was very professional and respected my wife as she passed them booties to wear over their shoes. Everything was explained so we understood it. Highly recommend them, its too hot to deal with unreliable companies!

Negative 5 star.....Call at your own risk... where do i start ... it took a week for him to so call fix the problem...Kevin didnt know what he was doing.. he ignored our phone calls.. i have a 9month pregnant fiancé and they didnt car we had no ac for a week... installed thermostat and blower fan and didn’t even check to see if it was blowing cold air and just left. Very unprofessional people!! They wasnt my choice but my home warranty choice they both will know the horrible service... on to good news called apostle air at 4am and john came out to fix it the month of 4th of July!! I am a breast cancer survivor and this company was dispatched through Old Republic Home Warranty. I put in my urgent request on August 28, 2023 at 8:00 AM and put that it is affecting my health on the ticket. I had a procedure done and cannot tolerate heat. This company did not return my calls. They DID answer when the warranty company called them, once I called the warranty company and they guaranteed Tuesday that they would be out 3-5 on Wednesday. On Wednesday, I called the warranty company at 5:30 because, SURPRISE!, they did not show up or answer my calls. They told the warranty company that they took longer on an install and due to their time constraints of their workday, they could not work any longer that day. But they GUARANTEED they would be out today, August 31,2023 between 1-3. Surprise Again!!! No call. No show. I called the warranty company again and THIS time, this owner did not even answer the Warrant Company’s call. No joke, they said this contractor is “FLAKING”!!! They had to cancel my ticket to dispatch another company - but now it starts over on Thursday before Labor Day. If you need AC work, and especially if you’re a cancer patient DO NOT USE THEM. And who cares about your freaking Amazon rating of 4.whatever when No One uses Amazon for AC Service. You’re ridiculous. And I hope you never have to go through cancer treatment in triple digit heat at the mercy of someone like yourself. You should be ashamed to do business like this! I left 1 star ONLY because I had to pick a star to leave this review. UPDATE: The business owner put a reply saying the tech was “en route when the ticket got cancelled.” Lies. If you were on the way, you’d have answered your phone when the warranty company called you multiple times - again. Honesty goes a long way. You simply aren’t being honest with anyone including yourself. If you would simply communicate truth, you would not have to start so many of your responses to negative reviews with, “And here’s another time” - all of your responses to negative review after negative review where the common theme is that you don’t answer your phone, or You make guarantees and commitments to people counting on you to be a hero and just fix an issue that you are paid guaranteed money for, and you don’t show up and you don’t call to let them know, you ghost even the warranty company feeding you business. Oh, or taking money from someone and the unit doesn’t work. See - all of your replies are times when you simply play the victim. You should remove your company as a contractor with Old Republic so that you can actually do the right thing for once by not being an option for the warranty company to dispatch work to. In this way the negative comments stop for you, and reputable and honest companies out there who want to work help the ones who need a hero in that situation, because they can get the dispatch work order, and you can stop having to keep asking what you’re doing wrong. And then everyone wins….

My HVAC stopped cooling and my home warranty company assigned Rayford. After explaining the urgency of the situation, he said hed be out there in a day or two. After a couple days of waiting and leaving messages with no response, I finally got through and he said hed send a tech out, but itd be two more days. He canceled on me after four days of waiting with no AC, and I had to start from square one. I think its very unprofessional to string someone along for days, only to cancel. Luckily, the new contractor assigned was much more responsive. I do not recommend this company!

The Home Warranty assigned this company June 2023. They said the capacitor needed to be replaced, so they did. Two months later its out again. Did another work order with my Warranty company they send out a different company. Turns out RAYFORD REFRIGERATION AND AIRService Provider put in a used old/ capacitor. WOW!! Thats what I get for trusting they would do the right thing. I shouldve been looking over their shoulder, watching everything they did. And they wonder why I have trust issues.

Was assigned by my home warranty company. I am glad weather has not reached its hell levels. This company did not even bother to call me to let me know when will they be able to visit to check my AC. Called for my work order on May 17, it is now May 22, and not heard from them. Wont even answer my phone calls. The first time I called them , guy was like yes, I have assigned a tech and he will contact you tomorrow... yeah right! I just called my warranty company to assign me another provider since this one had not customer service whatsoever.

Super professional, super friendly, honest, respectful & trustworthy!We had our HVAC replaced; I contacted several companies prior to selecting Rayford A/C & Heating company. Most companies provided outrageous quotes for the same or a compatible system. Rayford A/C & Hearing was the final company I contacted for a quote. In speaking with Carl; I immediately felt comfortable & confident that they would bre able to provide me with the service we needed. After my husband & I compared quotes, warranties & reccomendation we settled on this company & I must say; I COULD NOT be more pleased. Its been offer a year since weve replaced our unit & its working better than expected! In our 3000 square foot home, our thermostat is constantly on 77 & its totally comfortable for me; my husband, its too cold so he layers up!I personally interacted with Carl & Kevin regularly before during and after the with was completed & I am thoroughly impressed with their work performed! I had been kept informed every step of the way through the entire process & Ive been contacted in recent simply to insure my system was operating as expected.In this day and age; customer satisfaction has taken a back seat. Customer service is equally as important to me as the products or services I seek. I couldnt be more pleased with the decisions nade to go with this company & I am sure you will be pleased as well should you choose them to perform your services. We added onto our house but our contractor didnt do electric. We needed someone who could install some outlets for us in the new space and C&G Services did a great job. They came out quickly and got right to work. On top of the fact that they did a great job with the outlets, they also did a great job communciating with us throughout the project. I really couldnt recommend these guys more. They are the best electricians I could have asked for.

Do not use this company. They were assigned through Old Republic home protection. I am a property manager and manage properties for home owners. This company was assigned and there have been nothing but problems. They essentially stole an additional $1,200 from my client and did not do the work they were supposed to do. There was one man that came out to install an entire new system and it has never worked a single day. My tenants are currently suffering in extreme tripe digit heat. This company NEVER answers the phone. We will be reporting them to the licensing board. We can see from the other reviews that this appears to be how this company just does business. No integrity or concern. Poor quality work. Stay away.

Homeowners warranty sent them out to my house. Need to replace a part and its taken two week. Got a text on the 21 saying part was approved and here we are may 7 and still no part. Tried to call and wont answer phone nor return calls.. bewareEdit to update to owners responseFirst of all yes I understand how my warranty works as I got a text that my part was approved on April 21. Called last Friday and spoke to what I believe is the owner and asked what was taking so long and he said give me a couple of hours to get with KEVIN and Ill call you back.. NOTHING still havent gotten a phone call... got a text msg. Finally came this morning to put my part on... would highly suggest you use someone else if your warranty company assigns them to you

I have used them for several of my properties and the service is nothing short of spectacular. I can call Carl and let him know what I need and hell have the whole crew ready to go without me having to be onsite. This company has EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and that is very rare to find nowadays. Pricing is always great as well as the quality of the work. I highly recommend you use this company as the experience is one of a kind with them as a family based business should be. I had no AC in the main system of my house and had homeowners warranty who subcontracted the work to Rayford. The technician arrived on April 6th and after some time thinks the zone board was bad. He told me he would call around to see if anyone had it and let me know. He stopped by just before lunch and I called/texted him hours later to see what he found out and he never responded. I contacted the owner and it was close to 5pm. He wasnt aware of my issue but read about it then told me he would need to contact the warranty company to see if it was covered or not and call me back the same day. I called the warranty company and they were closed so I contacted the owner again to let him know they were closed. What upset me is the fact a half a day was wasted doing nothing when they couldve secured the part and be ready to fix it the next day which I wouldve gladly paid for the services and for the part. The owner told me he would call around for the part and would need about 3 hours but would call me. Im on day 2 and still no phone call. I ordered the part and had it delivered today and my AC is working. Stay far away from this company because they could care less about you when you need help. It amazes me as a business owner myself Rayford is still in business because of my experience. Thank goodness it has been cooler and we dont have small children. I do understand there is a process but I had to seek out the answers as Rayford was not responsive at all. Where is my phone call to let me know you found my part? Where is the phone call to let me know are you going to fix it or not. 2 days have passed and nothing. I knew the next day it was not going to be authorized but did you call, nope. This is exactly what Im talking about. Pretty quick to reply my review but it seems making a phone call to me is unnecessary. Totally unprofessional and you give business owners a bad name. All of the negative reviews are pretty much the same complaint but the owner states these are random people and he doesnt know them. Real easy to push those reviews as false.

This company was absolutely amazing! From start to finish they treated us like family and accommodated all our needs. The work was done in a time efficient manner, and when we had additional requests they were more then willing to come out and help. We are new to Texas and recently purchased a home and this was such a great experience as we finished our remodel. Horrible, unprofessional, and a bunch of LIARS! Took a week for the air to get fixed and then when they came to fix it, it still wasn’t fixed the vents were blowing out hot air. I had to call another company to come fix the lousy job performed. Took them 5 days to report the service to the warranty company, the part was ordered and ready for pick up on a Monday, they didn’t go and pick it up and install it until Wednesday. They took their precious time while we were without air for a week. While I’m sure they slept comfortably everyday for a week with air in their homes. Let them know numerous times that I was 9 months pregnant and couldn’t be without air ObViously they didn’t care because they kept booking others in front of me and ignored my calls. NEVER AGAIN! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

What a great team!!! I hired them to put in a new service and a/c for my business. Carl and his guys did a fantastic job. Finished on time and under budget. One other thing unlike most contractors, Carl was on site when he said he would be, and always answered my calls. They are the best and are like family now!!! You won’t be sorry if you hire them!!!

Kevin installed a Pioneer split heat pump I purchased on Amazon. I saw there name as a Amazon installer and called Carl to see if they could install the unit. There was some confusion on pricing at first but we got it sorted out and they did a nice job. Be sure if you buy one of these units that you measure the length of the copper tubing you need. It goes from the outside unit to the inside unit. I only ordered 15 feet from Amazon. There is an option to add longer ones for the unit that I didn’t see before I ordered. I had to have Kevin buy a 50 feet length which cost me extra. This was my fault though. I would have them do another install if I need one.

Out A/C was blowing hot air. Our warranty company (ORHP) referred our problem to Rayford. They never called us; never returned our calls; never showed up.I was finally forced to do some troubleshooting, determined the issue, and made the repairs myself.

Worst most unprofessional experience I can describe. This company was sent through our home warranty company. The never showed up on time and it has been a project that has lasted months resulting in our family not having A\C in over 2 months. Company and tech refuse to return calls, are never on time, never have the tools to finish the job. I’ve never dealt with a company that was such a nightmare and literally refused to communicate with us. They came three different times and didn’t have the tools or man power to complete the job. Every time they didn’t have the proper equipment to do the job it took literally days before they would come back.

Beware: $75 house call fee. I did call and say the air was blowing, but room wasnt cooling. Service guy found NOTHING wrong with air ducts or unit said I should try different curtains. Its just nice to KNOW up front you charge a fee.

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED! Unprofessional unethical and affiliated with C G servicec....per credit card receipt and transaction. No INVOICE for service provided. Owner collected money but not at all concerned with services provided and made no effort to rectify mess created by excon felon workers trying to undermine company and work on side demanding cash payments. Owner refused to evaluate services rendered by his CROOKED employees. LAWSUIT FILED
