Home Services at The Home Depot

When I was in the process of remodeling a home I purchased in April of this year I ordered Guaranteed installed in 7 days carpet and questioned the sales person several to make sure I was clear. He said I wouldnt be charged until they measurements were confirmed.(not part of the 7 Days) Talked to the order dispatch 2 days later in Georgia who took billing / card # and put the wheels in motion. This was a Monday. Hadnt heard about a scheduled time on Monday following for install. Called the store and was told next Monday. talked to a manager named Mike who couldnt wrap his head around why I was upset?!?!? Was later told by a HD employee the installers ACH machine had failed to send payments for a week before they noticed it thus my order wasnt placed until the following week!!!SORRY!Went from 7 days guaranteed to 18 days and kiss our ass! Left msgs for Mgr no response......I still dont know what the guarantee is?!?!?I havent heard a word from them. I plan on paying my card and never going in a Home Depot Facility ever again.If I could give them negative stars I would.....

So im trying to get my house sold. before i can do that i need to replace my patio door. Was told 72 hours to get it measured. 12 days later someone was finally able to come measure. That night HD said that someone form doors/windows would contact me about the installation the next day. Noword for two days. When I called i was put on hold for 10 minutes then told by the service desk that the person who was supposed to be there that morning hasnt showed up yet....looking for the number to LowesMy advice...when looking for a door or window go somewhere other than HD. when i called and asked why its taken two months for them to do a simple door install no one was able to give me an answer.

Went on a Saturday to get lumber and other supplies for a job. The pro desk was closed so they sent me to customer service for a phone sale. I waited in line with all of the people that have returns. A hour later I finally got to check out. The worst part is that I parked in a pro services parking spot but customer service is at the other end of the store so I had to lug this lumber around everywhere.

Everything is on cages now and some people need to be in and out quick not waiting for someone to open a cage cause your 17billion profit cant pay for someone to be next to the cages for service
