Such great service! Vince and Adam came in and solved our problem in about an hour. We had a previous repair company come in and say they didn’t know what was wrong with the unit. Vince and Adam took everything apart, repaired it, and now it’s working perfectly. So happy I found Smokey’s. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Vince and Adam with Smokeys Fireplace and Chimney. Initially we had an old log gas fireplace unit that had the pilot light assembly go bad. We looked them up and reached out. They responded immediately and scheduled us an appointment. They said they would be able to replace the part that same day they first came out. But we also inquired about updating our unit to get a better burner. They showed us some of their options and we decided to upgrade our unit. They came back a week later after ordering the new parts and installed our new burner. We absolutely love it. Highly recommend you give these guys a call if your fireplace is in need of repair or upgrades. They were very professional and super friendly.

This was a huge undertaking and this company attacked it head on. There were a couple bumps along the way, but Vince and his team handled everything very professionally. I am extremely happy with the result and I definitely recommend them for any fireplace job.

Great service. Vince responded to my request very quickly and was able to get us on the schedule a few days later. They came out for cleaning and maintenance since this was our first time to use the fireplace. Vince and Adam did a great job cleaning everything and going over what needed to be replaced vs what was still in good shape. Smokey’s Firplace replaced our gas fireplace with an electric unit. We were extremely pleased with the service provided, especially with the contractors providing the electrical service. The installation technician, as well as the electricians were very courteous and concerned about making sure we were satisfied with the final results of the project.

Reached out to this place to get 2 fireplaces, talked to someone really nice and was going to get me a quote, then never heard back from them. Gave them a week to responded, then went somewhere else just wanted to let you guys know. Ended up spending 11k somewhere else. The guy texted me then never texted me back.

The BEST in the business! Adam and Kevin came in and fixed 2 fireplaces for us in less than an hour an an half! Professional and clean! They know the in’s and outs of every fireplace! I needed my units fixed asap due to selling my home and they came out next day! They have my forever business! Smokey’s Did a fabulous job fixing our gas fireplace. We had an issue with the fireplace working intermittently. We have used the system very infrequently and had not cleaned it. Tech came to the house less than a day after we called. TONS of communication before during and after visit. Technician took system apart and first cleaned it thoroughly. During inspection he noticed some dead insects clogging small oriface. After cleaning system worked perfectly. Was one flat rate charge covered everything. Highly recommend, total professional.

So happy with the amazing service. We chatted prior to the home visit so we were clear on details. I love that we had a true professional make sure our transformation was a safe one! He didn’t overcharged and as you can see made our fireplace very modern!!

Today (2/2/23) with the schools still closed and working from home, I submitted an easy request a quote on Smokeys website. I was contacted within 30 minutes and was pleasantly surprised to hear they could fit me in today. They showed up on time, were very friendly and professional and made great suggestions for improvements to my gas log fireplace after they had serviced and repaired the fireplace. The result is perfect and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend these guys! Showing a before and after picture from today... Huge improvement and now it works like it should. Impressed overall.

I really dont like writing negative reviews but the quality of this product is horrible. I had these glass rocks installed on August 24 and weve turned the fireplace on for 10 minutes max for obvious reasons (its 90 degrees in Texas) and the glass has already turned brown. I contacted the company about the problem on Sep 7 with no response. I resent my message on Sep 9 and finally got a response. He asked if I wanted to replace the glass with another color for an additional $45 for a 10lb bag??? So I guess they dont stand behind their product that was just installed 2 weeks ago? Then he said he was going to come out to check it out 10 days later on Sep 19. On Sep 18, i received a message that he fell off the ladder so he cant come on the scheduld date. I asked if he can send someone else to check it out as my husband took the day off for no appointment. I have not heard back since. There is not a plan B? This business is not efficient. I do not recommend.

Our fireplace pilot cannot start without the batteries even thought there is a switch to do so. We have been dealing with this issue for years. Adam came and identified the issue with starter not connecting to power source. He drilled a hole on side of fireplace, fished the wire thru and connect to outlet. Fireplace is now running without any batteries! Adam was very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Vince did an amazing job today. Our service call was fairly easy to accomplish and so Vince walked me through his task step by step making me at ease during the process. I highly recommend this company!

The first photo is what I received after having my plumber go and reinstall the part. The second photo is the way my plumber found the part installed. The third photo is the part installed by Smokey, claiming it would work great. The fourth photo is Smokey’s ad photo that I contacted him for asking for the install. The last photo is Smokey’s photo of my fireplace how he left it and invoiced me. He promised enough fire glass to make it look right, he used 20 lbs of my own fire glass along with some of his, still not enough to cover sufficiently. He placed a sign advertising his business in my yard without my permission. I would never hire this company again. I have hired another company to come and install a box under his part to raise it enough to not look ridiculous.

Prompt, reasonable and professional-painted the firebox heat resistant black, add beautiful cobalt blue and clear glass and arranged the logs 🪵 This is a very small fireplace in a 1932 home. Very happy with the results. Getting to enjoy a cozy fire on a cold, wet day.

We had this guy come out today, and he was pretty awesome. We just had some questions about if this old fireplace was safe to use with normal wood(it has a gas igniter, so it looked like it might be a gas only fireplace). Cleared everything up really quickly, and I now know my fireplace is safe to burn real wood in without blowing up my house.Really appreciate everything!

Kevin and Adam were completely professional and very friendly. The service was exceptional. Another company tried to cheat me and have me pay thousands and thousands of dollars to repair my fireplace. These guys were completely honest and charged me a reasonable price to repair my firebox and clean my chimney. I will definitely be using them again and I will also be requesting Kevin and Adam in the future.

Kevin did a great job with the maintenance and inspection of our chimney. He explained what he did and offered an explanation as to what upkeep was needed for the upcoming winter season. He was in communication with me via text the day before and the morning of the appointment. He portrayed excellent customer service. I highly recommend this company.

Techs were helpful and professional. They identified the issue quickly, piece of broken log covering the pilot. They were here maybe 30 minutes and I was still charged $300. Good thing nothing was actually wrong. Would have been nice if I was made aware the fee was $300 when I made the appointment, but then again that would lead to a lot less appointments. Find someone more reasonable and save some coin.

I scheduled an appointment to have a technician come to my house to provide a quote for a chimney cap. I made arrangements to be home at the scheduled time the technician was supposed to arrive. I hadn’t heard from anyone all day so I called the company ten minutes before the end of the timeframe they were to arrive. I was later told by text that my roof was “too steep” even though no one even came to my property. Very odd how a company “specializing” in chimneys can’t access a roof. I had another company out two days prior that had no problem at all. This company is unprofessional and has a complete disregard for people’s time.

Smokey’s has a professional and punctual crew with great communication and responsiveness. They repaired and refurbished my obsolete gas log fire place. It looks great and works great now.

Kevin was wonderful to work with. Easy to schedule, super knowledgeable and saved me from spending 10x more on another company’s quote. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs work done. Communication was top notch as well. 2 thumbs wayyyyyy up.

I would have given 5 stars, but it was the cost that caused me to rate 3 stars. The technician was kind and professional, but it took less than 5 minutes to determine the switch was stuck between on and off causing the fireplace not to ignite. Done and $377. I knew the troubleshooting and inspection was $350, but since that wasn’t really required I expected the cost to be less. I do understand I agreed to their fee so that’s my fault, but I also expect a company to consider the service they had to provide when charging a set fee.

Kevin was awesome. He was professional and took the time to explain my system to me. I have never had a fireplace like this one so it was great for him to explain it to me. Overall great work and very personable. He made the whole experience great.

Unscrupulous. There was no real transparency in pricing but i trusted them based on a few good reviews. They would only say they charge 169.99 for cleaning and inspection but outside that would need to diagnose any issues and determine from there. Bled the lines and after 5 minutes the chimney was working. They said this service was $480.00. No parts replaced, nothing just bled the gas line. They left shortly after but had to come right back after leaving as the fireplace did not turn right back on. Adjusted the gas pipe and it was working again after another 5 minutes. They are unscrupulous based on my experience and i would not trust them to come out to do anything else. Hope the $480 was enough to get them by as they obviously need it more than i. I just hope that satisfied their appetite so they dont feel the need to do that to another customer that is not in a position to absorb that kind of cost but if i were you reading this i would not take the chance. There are plenty of others out there that can service a fireplace. Keep looking.

Workers were on time, personable and had good knowledge of our fireplace model. The tune up was done well and replacement part seemed to be installed well. The three star rating is being given because the final bill was extremely high considering the actual cost of the replacement part and the amount of labor time involved.

Such a good experience with Smokey’s. My fire place hadn’t worked in years, after having several technicians come out, with no success. Adam had the problem solved within 10 minutes of arriving. Very satisfied with the service, would HIGHLY Recommend.

I called Smokey’s Fireplace & Chimney and they answered right away. Because I’m selling my house and I needed the fireplace repaired quickly. They were able to make an appointment within my timeframe. I was able to get the work done on time. They were extremely knowledgeable and professional. When I originally called them I sent a photo to show them what part I needed replaced. After asking a few questions the technician was able to let me know the part that was on it was not the right part. They came out and installed the correct part, cleaned the fireplace and chimney, and provided a positive inspection report as well. Now I can sell my home knowing the fireplace is clean and safe. I would definitely recommend Smokey’s.

Adam came to our home to install our gas logs for our outdoor fireplace. He was very professional, informative and his attention to detail was great! He also kept his work area extremely clean. My husband and I were beyond impressed!

A great value with great service is often hard to find, but with Smokies Fireplace and Chimney you will be well cared for and I highly recommend them and plan on using them in the future for all my chimney and dryer vent cleaning servicing.The owner, is very friendly, very professional, and he worked me in his schedule on short notice and Im so appreciative. He was friendly with my pets and they liked him which says a lot.I learned a lot about how to prevent downdrafts and how many logs to use on the size fireplace I have. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to talk with me about my fireplace.I bought a new grate from him that was perfect for my fireplace which saved me a trip to the store and saved me money.The final word is great value!

Adam and Kevin are wonderful. They were professional and open to answering any questions I had. I think they did a very good job in cleaning the fireplace and refreshing the rocks and wool. This company is my go to fireplace guy technician. He’s come out twice to my house now in the last couple years because I needed a review on how to start my ventless gas fireplace. He was very patient and let me practice a few times and explain things very well and now I feel like a pro! The first time he came out was to inspect it and make sure it was all good. Very nice guy and reasonably priced. I recommend him highly. He came right out on the day I called both times.

We were told by 3 different fireplace businesses that our gas fireplace was a lost cause and needed to be replaced at a significant cost. We spoke with Vince from Smokeys and he asked us to give them a chance to take a look at our fireplace. Adam arrived on time and within a couple of hours our fireplace was fixed was working like new. The cost was a fraction of replacing the fireplace. We highly recommend Smokeys for any of you fireplace needs.

Found this business through the Denton Chamber of Commerce - AWESOME service! Super responsive and had us booked the very next day. We are fairly new homeowners in an older home and have yet to have a fire in our wood burning fireplace, and were concerned about some crumbling bricks/whatever else we might find up there. Vince was so knowledgeable and walked me through what maintenance we might need in the future. Also purchased a grate from him, which saved me from having to go out and find one big enough for our large fire box. Great price and we’ll be calling him back next year for some upkeep and another sweep!

Got a gas fireplace tune up. They were on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and got it working. Reasonably priced. Honest (past service provider implied Id need a new unit versus aftermarket parts for replacing old parts), he mentioned there being aftermarket parts for my old fireplace. Very professional. Found my go to people for my fireplace. And he likes animals, always a good sign for me! ;)

I have a Majestic Fireplace that has not worked in over 5 years. I had another company quote me $900 to replace the pilot assembly.(Funny thing that was not even the problem.) I called Vince at Smokey’s Fireplace and Chimney. He diagnosed the problem (faulty valve assembly) and revived the fireplace from the dead in about an hour. All for way less than this other incompetent company was going to charge me!

Great customer service and fast response! I originally called just to have my gas fireplace cleaned…. However the igniter in my gas fireplace went out and had to be replaced also. I txted these guys at 8pm when I couldn’t get the pilot to stay lit and would you know they actually responded! I did not expect a response at that time of night and was just texting so I wouldn’t forget. They scheduled and got the necessary part quickly! If you can receive a response at 8pm at night from a company then you know that they truly care about their customers and want to provide the best possible service!

Guys were professional, quick, and clean. They cleaned our chimney, filled some gaps, and put refractory cement on back wall of the firebox. They did what I asked and did not try and “up sell” me on anything unnecessary. Pleased with them.

Asked me.earier in the day is they could come early and I said now, then asked me if I had availability on Thursday and I said no. They said okay. 30 min after the appointment that I had made 2 weeks prior they said they overbooked and if I had any other availability. I called the number and they just repeated that it was a new owner transitioning and overbooking but couldnt tell me why they didnt bother telling me this earlier and finally hung up on me when I kept asking.
