Strittmatter Plumbing, Heating and AC

They replaced our AC several years ago and did a fine job, all of the technicians who have come out have been knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately, they seem to have been acquired and now when you call its a call center. I called to schedule a service this morning and successfully scheduled for same day service, but I got disconnected before I could verify if the same technician was coming out as last week. I immediately called back the same number and it connected to customer service who I had to spell out all of my information to again, address, email etc only for them to say they were customer service and could only take a message and have somebody else call me back. So strange for such a simple question. I want to hire a different company to replace my furnace, but I feel stuck with these guys because I have a good warrantee on my AC which Ive had to use a couple times already. I thought we were going with a good local company originally but now its not that.Edit: The president of the company called me and apologized which was super nice. I really appreciate how hard theyve worked hard to keep my business and the immediate response to an unsatisfied customer. I understand that as businesses grow they have more overhead, so things cost more, but their price is significantly higher than another local business. Overall, Ive had no actual problems, everyone local that Ive interacted with has been fantastic, I just prefer a smaller company.

Aaron was excellent. He was professional, informative, and cordial. He also helped me solve a latching problem that I was experiencing with grill cover that holds the air filter in place. He approached his work with enthusiasm and diligence. When his work was completed, he reviewed the results of his inspection with me in a thorough manner. He is very competent. I highly recommend him and will request him to do future inspections.

Dissatisfying experience overall. Called in to schedule appt and it was a national central call service (apparently local Strittmatter recently acquired by Frymire national chain); support rep didn’t know anything about how the scheduling worked and seemed totally checked out. Scheduled service for that evening, but then got a text later that they couldn’t actually make this time and rescheduled us to the next day. Plumber arrived on time for the rescheduled appt, but said he was only there to do a quote, no service would be provided that day, we’d get an emailed quote and then have to call back in to schedule service. This had NOT been communicated to us when scheduling service - we had a leak and had expected service for the appt time we made! When we got the quote, the prices were exorbitant and the quote confusing.I asked for recommendations from friends and went with a different plumber completely, who delivered ACTUAL service next-day and completed all work for a fifth of the quoted price from this place!! A FIFTH OF THE PRICE! 🤯Absolutely will never call this place again and would not recommend d it.(Shout out to AM Plumbing aka A&M Plumbing for quick and cost-effective service, call them instead!)

Jay L. arrived and got to business right away. The water heater tanks are only about a year old and he said there was already quite a bit of sediment built up in these tanks. Jay informed me our area has a consistent calcium issue in the water so he is sending some information on a recommended solution. Looking forward to seeing that. Thank you Jay!

Jonathan was very professional and thorough doing my AC check. He did a great job of explaining things in a way that I could understand and made quality recommendations to improve performance. Highly recommended.

Dave was so informative and professional while fixing our bathrooms various issues, and he did a fantastic job! By the end, not only was everything functional again, it looked even better than it did before the trouble began! Definitely give this company a try if youre having plumbing trouble!

Every call I have had results in success! Every tech that comes out has been exceptional! I will always be a returning customer, and I am never left confused or without positive results! They have always been very attentive, informative, and honest in everything they do. They have gone above and beyond all expectations and have the most integrity I have ever experienced with a service company. Ran into problem changing out a flapper on toilet. Turns out I got the wrong size kit by mistake.Called for help to this company and was charged $388 to tell us the above info. They only changed a washer so the water could be turned back on and preceeded to give another huge quote to come back out with correct kit and install it. The $79 service charge should have covered what was done and the quote to actually repair something. This was a gross overcharge.We still have the same problem. A toilet that doesnt work!

I called Strittmatter today for a leak on my water softener customer service response was quick and in less than half an hour Cody arrived and looked into it. I told him that i need the water turned on as the leakage cameback. It’s a worked of a diff company and it didn’t last a day and it burst again. Cody yold me that the pipe that was used was not the right thing. Only Strittmatter always do the right thing. Very helpful and knowledgeable on their work.

They did fabulous work! Stayed late and made sure it was done right, answered all my questions and.cleaned up nicely!

Overall a decent experience. If it wasnt such a large install I would have given 3 stars, but they were here for a long time and did everything else well.Ill have to go back through and paint the cover hiding the line, its very far off from the color of the house and has some sort of staining going on, and Ill have to seal the hole at the top.

Had a crew of three technicians, can’t say enough good things about this crew, totally knowledgeable of the craft and fantastic performance. The politeness was wonderful to experience. Aside from the lack of parts in the manufacturing chain and follow up by the technicians, supper job.

I called first thing this morning due to a close flood call from my master sink bathroom. Strittmatter got someone here by 10 AM. Cody was a very nice gentleman who took the time to educate and explain the reasons why our sink failed. He took pictures and walked me through each step of the process. Very satisfied!

Aaron Divin, excellent HVAC technician, very nice young man and explained all that he repaired. He answered all our questions about the repair that was done, again I will say that he is a very knowledgeable technician.

Mo was a great service tech. He was very patient while training another tech, he answered all questions and still explained everything that he would be doing. Best customer service that I have experienced in a long time.

Our technician was very professional and efficient. He took his time to check everything with the unit - inside and outside. He explained what he was going to do to check our AC then explained what he check and found on the inside. He did the same thing after Chad king the outside unit. He followed up with the checklist and explained everything. He answered questions I had. I would recommend Prince to my family and friends.

There is so much upheaval in the plumbing trade, with businesses being bought out and plumbers quitting en masse. Its a mess. So far, Strittmatter seems to be rising above all this. If this company is smart, they will keep it that way. They handled my job (leaking toilet) quickly and expertly, for a good price. Cody Shelton was an excellent technician, polite and friendly.

Run away, fast. How do these guys continue to get good reviews. I have had nothing but bad experiences. First, they installed 2 new AC units and the installer did not install the drain pipe properly and it flooded my house. They paid for restoration services but nothing will ever be the same again. Second, I called their plumbing group for a water leak in master bathroom which was flooding bathroom and closet. The plumber came out, could not find the leak even after everything was ripped away from the wall. He said would have to trench under our slab to find the leak. Was going to be a huge expense. Within 20 minutes of him leaving, I found the leak in a pipe in the wall. He returned and capped the leak. Everything should have been free at that point. And finally third, I should know better by now, right! One of the 2 ac units was not running. Tech came out, spent 2 hours troubleshooting and said compressor was bad and would have to be replaced. Unit has 10 year warranty and has just turned 4 years old. Estimate for labor to replace a warranty compressor was $2500. I was suspicious about a compressor failure and called another ac company. The other ac company found the problem within 10 minutes of showing up. And the problem was a $200 part. Replaced and all is good.Shame on me for continually calling Strittmatter. You would think that I would have at least 1 good experience out of 3, but NO. And I called for a manager but no return call as of yet.

Plumber came out to fix clogged drain. All he did was to run a snake down the drain. This did not fix the issue, but charged a bunch of money and we still have same problem.

My a/c went out during the night and I called Frymire at 7:30am. They had a technician here by around 8:00am and he had my a/c up and running by 9:00. With 100 degree days this was such a huge relief. The technician was very pleasant and competent…and I wish I remembered his name!

First, the actual service was good; Expensive but good. My frustration is totally with the communication and “paperwork” processes. As a remote landlord, my property needed AC service in the form of a blower motor replacement. The online scheduling tool didn’t work but the live phone call quickly worked great. The initial visit and diagnosis happened quickly, all good so far. A required oem replacement part meant estimates and schedule had to wait another day. From this point on the “office” seemed in control the efforts despite talking details and expectations with the tech. I had to constantly call to find status and estimate and authorization to do the work, although electronic were not well executed. Things like estimates with no dollar amounts and agreement to pay with no values were the norm. Despite clearly communicating the tenant had to be the poc for scheduling I got the calls for scheduling visits.

Derrick Richard was absolutely awesome. He was able to help us diagnose our issue over the phone and quickly resolve our issue. When you call for service, ask for Derrick! We have no doubt he will be able to quickly get you fixed up.

Ive had great experiences with Frymire techs. Today Prince came out to check out my AC. He did a great job, checking everything and making some simple suggestions to help me keep it running good without trying to up sell me on everything - something I really appreciate. Very polite, diligent, and got the job done without issue.

Jonathan was excellent. He quickly identified the issue and resolved it. Strittmatter is extremely expensive but thats not his fault. They want almost $1,000 to install a smart thermometer.

Cody was wonderful to work with! We had a leak under a cabinet so in order to fix it, the cabinet had to come out. He connected me with another outstanding company (DFW Restoration) and they worked together to get him access. He kept me informed every step of the way which I really appreciated! He was timely, knowledgeable, professional and friendly!

Jonathan was prompt, courteous, and professional., Which is very refreshing. He diagnosed the problem, explained everything as she was going through the process discussed everything with me prior to providing the service. He did a stellar job!My only recommendation would be to deduct the diagnostic fee from the service, if the service is rendered at that time.

Aaron did a great job, came out on a Saturday to fix our upstairs unit that had quit cooling. He found the problem right away and gave us two solutions. Better and best and did a very good job explaining the difference between the two. Thank you all for responding and coming out on a Saturday my overnight guests will be very glad they can sleep with cool air blowing.

Every time I call for an emergency on stuff theyve installed (12k water heater job) I get no return calls. It has been since January and it still doesnt work right. Today its leaking and flooding my garage. 2 calls now, no return. The last two occasions I tried to reach them for an emergency on their equipment they also did not return calls. They were out weeks ago and told me theyd have parts the following Tuesday....still havent heard back. Fixtures they fixed are also leaking. Ive poured 25k into plumbing with them into this house and it doesnt work right and I cant get my calls returned. Run, do not walk away from them! Use someone else!Update: they did finally get back to me today and my leak is coming from the roof where they put the water heater vent and didnt seal it properly. Also know that when they did the job initially they drilled completely through a wall they werent supposed to into my bathroom from the garage and had to send out a wall repair company. Now they are going to have to repair my roof. Im disgusted. Run run run dont walk.away!Another update because they keep sending me emails asking for reviews: issue with tankless water heater still not fixed and my roof was leaking where they put a vent for it. I had my roofer out to check their fix and he says hes not impressed and fears it will still leak so hes going to have to fix it. Im a member of their $39 monthly club and I want a refund- and I think if youve used them there is some clause that you cant cancel. They need to let me cancel because Im going to keep posting honest reviews. I would never use them for any new service Im only trying to resolve what theyve already done that isnt right.

We needed someone to replace the HVAC filter in the attic since I had back surgery and cannot climb the stairwell. They had someone here within 3 days. The tech was cordial and I signed up for a membership to include plumbing. Their pricing is also reasonable.

Aaron Divin did an excellent job of diagnosing a very unique problem with my system. He was able to get the system back up and running in umder an hour. Did a great job of explaining everything that he was doing and why. Very happy with his professionalism and work.

Aaron was very professional. He took his time diagnosing the problem, even though it was super hot in the attic. I would request him again.Chris was very professional and helpful with the estimate, along with finacing, the following day.3 other HVAC Techs, insatalled a new coil, 2 days later. My house is cooled again. All were very professional. Thank-You for the great job. I would definitely use them again.

Derrick is very nice, very excellent A/C man. Derrick is the type of person when you meet him it seems as thought you have known him ever since he was a little guy. Derrick went over everything that he checked and explained exactly what he did and found and he explained what happened the day before when we had a power surge. Excellent young man.

The plumber called in advance and actually arrived ahead of his expected 10AM-12PM predicted arrival time. He drained our hot water heater promptly, took a survey of all our plumbing in the home, and asked if we had any needs for repair or replacement. He was polite, business like, and thorough. A very good customer experience.

Completely comfortable having Cody in my home. He explained what charges were and gave advice on home maintenance to keep plumbing and ac system running smoothly. Very courteous, was on time and no high pressure sales pitch.

Quick and efficient service. Brent was professional and knowledgeable about the process. I appreciate that he was able to resolve the issue within 24 hours even though he had to wait for a part to arrive.I also appreciate that the agency itself provides updates for when the technician is setting out towards the residence. Having a heads up helped a lot with planning schedules accordingly.

They came out as quick as possible. Even reschedule to come out sooner because I was available. Did the job in no time flat. Did not charge me for crap that I did not need. Did not try to oversell me on crap. He clean courtesy work with my insurance company to make sure everything got covered. Could not ask for a better technician. 😁

Strittmatter Plumbing Jay Luginbyhl did an Excellent job today clearing out our clogged AC condensate / bathroom drain pipes!! He used pipe cameras to identify/ show us years of buildup and then remove it! He was hard working, efficient, honest, and corrected the problem at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend Jay and Strittmatter - ask for him if you have water repeatedly backing up in your bathroom sink!

They did a fabulous job! Completed the work very efficiently and thoroughly! I’m very satisfied with their expertise! They addressed all of my concerns and answered all my questions!

Gilbert did an outstanding job helping us with our AC repair. He was thorough, and explained every step while giving us options and explaining long term needs/solutions. I really appreciate him taking the time to answer all my questions.

Technician told me there was a leak in my slab and they needed to tunnel under my foundation, quoted nearly $12,000 for repairs. I immediately contacted a water extraction company to begin drying my walls and floors. They pointed out things to me and indicated it was not a slab leak. I contacted a leak finder company the next day. The leak was located within 30 minutes. Leak was on hot water side in a wall 30 feet from where I was originally told. I do not recommend this company. I paid nearly $600 for incorrect information by this company and had I not called an actual professional leak finder service I would had been out an additional $12,000 (insurance does not cover tunneling under foundation) and leak would still not been fixed. Very dissatisfied customer.

I called them to take a look at our leaking water heater. Told estimate would be free. Brent came, gave estimate then tried to charge us $79 for estimate! Senior discount of 5%. Big deal. I would not recommend this company.

We love the Strittmatter Family & have always trusted them 100% with any issues with our home we have lived in 40+ years. It is a much older home so with that comes a lot of updates. We met Dave for the 1st time and it he was such a life saver! We have had some issues with the plumbing and were unable to access our bathroom and fix things. He called ahead of time and let us know when he would arrive; which no one does anymore. He was early, friendly when he arrived and introduced himself to everyone and let us know what to expect. He went over things in detail of what the issue was at hand. He actually sat down and spoke to the family about all options, what they meant, how each piece of plumbing works and their purpose so everyone felt more comfortable and aware of the issues. He solved the toilet plumbing and checked all other water sources that werent even on the list. We are a multi-generational family so having the ability to discuss & answer questions from all of us was a huge deal as that doesnt happen often. It helped our parents feel more at ease knowing he was going through the maintenance of what the younger generation should expect in taking better care of the home and helping out. We have always loved Joes family and trust them; so meeting Dave and the new company they have merged with was an excellent experience !

This was a wonderful experience! Working with the Frymire team was stress free, solid informative solutions given, and always with respectful communication.. Dillon was courteous and clear on every part of the process before the job was scheduled. He was also on site when the job began. Dustin and Adam, after pulling out the old tank, located a valve connection that was a big part of the problem I was having. They literally saved me several thousands of dollars today in the end. They were honest in adjusting the cost. They were efficient and pleasant to have working around my home. Thank you Dillon, Adam and Dustin! Frymire are the best!

At our semiannual checkup, Daniel did an extensive evaluation to determine that the dampers in our attic were not working, resulting in significant temperature variations between upstairs and downstairs. At a second visit, he installed new dampers, which solved the problem. We are very pleased with the assistance we received from Daniel!

The tech that came out was great! He was courteous and tried his best. He had to call his boss, Johnny, and things turned for the worst. Initially a repair was offered and then after talking with Johnny, a coil was deemed necessary. I asked about the repair of the leak and was told the warranty would be voided and the cost to resolve a warranty coil would cost $2300 in labor/refrigerant. I called Johnny to get clarification on the price and he was crass, short and mildly demeaning. He said the price was the price because it was. No detailed proposal, just a quote for $2300. I called another company and they said the coil wouldn’t need repaired, because the leak wasn’t part of the coil. The other company saved me a lot of money and time, given Johnny said it would be 5-6 days (in 100 degree heat) for the part, vs the company that came out and did it in hours. Given all their great reviews, I was optimistic for a great experience, but Johnny needs a lesson in customer service, not trying to oversell repairs, being upfront/transparent with pricing and overall honesty. I would be careful with this company, maybe more so Johnny.

Gilbert is consistently professional, knowledgeable, helpful & understanding. He really listens & is also able to explain things clearly & simply. He has a genuine concern for the customer which comes through while hes on site as well as afterwards, with his follow up skills. Techs like Gilbert are the reason why I stay with Frymire.

Aaron was incredibly respectful of our home, explained how he was going to inspect everything for the AC, answered all of my husband’s questions and communicated his arrival and departure well.We always use Strittmatter for any AC and plumbing. They are always punctual and respectful and explain exactly what the problem is and how they will fix it. Thank you so much for making a stressful time easier for my husband and I.

Cody has been great at explaining the cascade of problems my plumbing has and spent most of a Saturday getting my drains moving until the full repairs could take place later this week. Amazing service and I will definitely call them again.

Aaron, the tech, was great! He was very friendly and on time. He really knew his stuff and explained the issue. Luckily we were able to give him an easy call for his last of the day.

I have never had a bad experience with Strittmatter. Gilbert showed up on time today, was polite and professional. He pointed out a few issues with how a different company had installed our duct work and made good recommendations. We will trust Strittmatter to fix the issue with our ducting.

I worked with James for a full system replacement. He was very professional and got me a really good deal. The following day he sent Miguel and his crew over to complete the work. Miguel and his crew had my new system up and running in no time. They were all very professional and efficient. I was really impressed at Miguel’s customer service and his attention to detail. His crew left no mess and everything was done neatly. I am very happy with the service!

This young man was outstanding on time which is important. Explain everything to wife and I. Was a mix up for seasonal tuneup he did both. I definitely will call them again or just join their maintenance plan because of the customer service with the office and the tech.

Although Strittmatters and Frymire are now the same company, unfortunately they are no longer my preferred company since their merge. Their customer service has drastically declined. However, Johnathan who works there was EXCELLENT. He came out and did a thorough job fixing my a/c. I mean thorough. I know one man can’t save THIS company. But he was a breath of fresh air! He may be one of the best techs left at that company now. They should hold on to him and treat him right!Thanks Jonathan! You were professional, thorough, courteous and patient. Truly appreciate your help on fixing us up again!

Dustin and Eddie were prompt, professional, and personable. Walked me through everything they were doing, got right to the fix, and luckily the part was in stock! Had my tankless water heater back up and running quick! I cant thank them enough.

Jonathon was the best HVAC tech I’ve ever had! He arrived early for the appt, educated me on my new hvac system and what was what and then do the maintenance. He was helpful when a part was broken to wait on the line with the home warranty people to help me get reimbursed! I’m a forever customer! Top notch customer service and excellent serviceman!

Called and the technician Lee was at the house within 3 hours to fix my AC on 92 degree day. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything & friendly. Definitely recommend these guys!!!

Derrick Richard did a good job. When the system was installed technicians didn’t direct the cool air very thoroughly throughout the house. . Derrick went to every room to be sure cool air was pro-vided. Thank you Derrick for solving the problem. I recommend Frymire and Strittmatter for your HVAC repairs or replacement. They are dependable and courteous.

Aaron was extremely knowledgeable and serviced our system fast. With the amount of repairs needed, I was thinking a 2 day job but was done in under 4 hours. Aaron and his team were Impressive.

I had some plumbing issues after things were fixed. I called & talk tothe plumbing manager Mike. He came personally to my house & fixed the issue himself. Mike was only hired as the plumbing manager 3 months ago & he has already earned his pay with his integrity, honesty & customer service. Well done Mike!

During the winter freeze one of pipes burst and flooded our master closet. Dave was able to come out quickly and recommended a water restoration company that was able to be here in 20 minutes. Excellent work, communication, and pleased to say my shoes were just fine! :)

We signed up for their monthly service plan, for whatever that’s worth. We had a tech, Jonathan come out today to perform a “tune up” on our two-year-old system. Everything came up fine, he was nice and polite. The one issue was the capacitor was out of range.Now, being from Texas, specifically from this region our whole life, I know capacitors do fail and they fail at the most inconvenient time. So, we paid the vigorous $138.00 labor fee to have Jonathan install the capacitor… c’est la vie…Jonathan was more than helpful showing me the capacitor that he replaced, and went out of his way to tell me about how the new one was better while I had to input my credit card number on his iPad.Shortly after friendly Jonathan departed, and our house skyrocketed to 80 degrees….At this point, I’m on the road for work and I get a disturbing call from my wife saying the air is down and FRYMIRE couldn’t give a time to come back out and fix this, BUT it someone will call her before the end of the day to fix the issue.I cancel the rest of my next two days. Yes, I’m busy. Get home and feel hot air flowing through the ducts, but no noise (the condenser) from outside.I go outside and discover that JONATHAN failed to turn the breaker back on after he installed the new fancy capacitor. I flipped the switch and voila, chef kiss it worked.Now, of course I blew up their phone, said some bad things, wanting to talk to someone and sure I got someone who hung up then got a call from a spam likely number out of Houston. Few minutes later, got a call from someone from a local number claiming that it was an honest mistake.Yes, I blew my stack… FRYMRE, JONATHAN. Let’s call it a culmination OF THE FOLLOWING:The monthly plan ($$$?) they upsold my wifeORThe $138.00 from todayORThe $345.00 they charged us earlier this year to flush our hot water heater that took about 30 minsORWhen they forgot to plug my mother in law’s hot water heater in and it took FRYMRE two days to come out to discover that it was another “Honest Mistake”FRYMRE, JONATHAN or whoever I spoke with from phone number ending 8548, claiming that the condenser doesn’t need power to test the capacitor can keep the $138, the $345, whatever we paid for the monthly service plan up to today and whatever was fleeced from my mother-in-law.My suggestion: FRYMRE – Stop training little JONATHAN’s to uncomfortably upsell people on other services while complaining about the checks and balances of your iPad and service checklist.If so, make sure that you focus on people signing the FRONT of the “Tune-Up” check list stating “The work performed is to my satisfaction”, which I didn’t sign, instead, JONATHAN put an “x” with a line on the back page, for my signature.NOT TO MY SATISFACTIONEDIT - Ive attempted to contact Shannon and Tim, twice after being on hold for 10 minutes. Left my contact information and NOBODY has tried to resolve this.

Jace came to my house to check my air conditioner. He is a nice and responsible persion. His professionalism and expertise were truly commendable. I appreciated the time He took to meticulously inspect our AC unit, and his willingness to patiently explain each detail to me was invaluable.

Derrick was outstanding. He was the most courteous and knowledgeable technician I have ever had. His primary interest was in me the customer and performing a quality service. He correctly pointed out that the system was showing its age and repairs and/or replacement was in the near future. When that day arrives, I want Derrick as my point man.

The second issue in our home was a plumbing issue. David was our tech. Very informative of what our issue was. He had a solid knowledge of his trade. David answered all of our questions in a respectful and professional manner. We are now good to go. This was our first time using this company for plumbing.. We were very pleased.

Cody was great. Kept us updated through out the day as he worked to locate our leaks and repair them. They were in an odd spot and hard to get to as a result, but he found them and fixed them and now we just have to deal with water remediation and construction. Brandon and his co worker did an excellent job walking me through the repair needed and made sure I fully understood the process. Johnathan did a great job. Once Frymire got the part (ordered 9/6 no update from Frymire until I called 9/12). If I had not called we would probably still be without ac until the following Monday. They did however provide a room cooler for the week. Just frustrating that at least 2 people told me they would update me but never did. I have worked with Strittmatter for years to maintain and service my HVAC system. The professional, friendly techs are always on-time and perform the work quickly.2024 Update: I would NOT give them the same review now that Frymire has bought them out. A lot has changed with the new ownership.2025 Update: At best, they would be 3 stars now. They have lost whatever mom-and-pop feel they used to have. On my last service with Stittmatter/ Frymire, they have a new policy for a $129 dispatch fee. Thats not per issue. That is per visit. They came out three times for the same issue because they had to order parts and then later to come fix the same issue. Each time incurred a dispatch fee. Theres no friendly customer service anymore. You just get a canned corporate answer. Its time to move on from Strittmatter.

Shut off valve replacements (kitchen and bathrooms), tankless water heater cleaning, toilet replacements, kitchen sink replacement... on separate occasions... all four different guys that came to do the job were fantastic. not the cheapest place but quality of the work more than makes up for it.

Had my bi-annual system check today and the technician, Kaileb, was great! I feel way more comfortable heading into the winter months knowing my system has been thoroughly checked before times of greater use. Also, their front office is GREAT at communicating about appointment times, technician status, etc. All around happy customer here!

Our hot water heater malfunctioned. Dillon did some diagnostics, and did a temporary fix that gave us some hot water until we could replace the 9 year old unit. He was patient with my questions and his information was very helpful.

Wow! Super impressed. I’ve used lots of plumbers over the years. Never any so prompt. I have been trying to get a couple of plumbing services to talk to me for over 1 week. I called Saturday and right away was connected to a plumber who gave me a very reasonable estimate. Since it wasn’t an emergency, I said I would call back Monday for an Appointment. I called this morning and less than 2 hours later it is already fixed at the quoted price from Saturday. Brandon and Parker quickly fixed a leaking outdoor spigot. But I also asked for advice on a couple of other minor items. Brandon went above and beyond and checked things out. He also provided a quote on a hot water heater filter removal and it was half the cost from another company. However Brandon recommended that I keep it if possible. I will definitely use Strittmatter again.

Discovered out pilot light was out on our hot water heater. Neighbor tried to help us relight and was unable to. Called for service and answering service on Saturday afternoon said would pass message. Terry called me in just a few minutes and said he would be out in about an hour. Adam was very professional, kind, and extremely quiet. I’ve never had anyone work for hours in my home and did so without making a lot of noise. Additionally, Adam found an issue with the exhaust pipe leaving the unit through the attic to the roof. Apparently, when we had our roof replaced a few years ago, the roofers did not think it was important to secure the exhaust pipe (carbon monoxide). So thankful that Adam figured out the issue and fixed it correctly. Thank you, Adam!!!

I got an appt in 2 days. Nedim was prompt, knowledgeable, helpful, and had a good attitude. He worked efficiently and explained well what I needed to know, recommending I replace my capacitor to get the amp draw within range and install a start assist. He thoroughly cleaned both of my condenser screens like the were his own. Not a speck left on them.

I was pleased with the service. The technician showed up on the early side of the arrival window and gave a notice checking that he would be okay to drop by before doing so. We had a minor issue with one of our toilets and our technician didnt have the part he needed on hand. Instead of rescheduling, he simply left to go get the part and then returned to complete the service.

I just received a new refrigerator today and was so disappointed to hear that I needed a “new shut off valve” and the delivery guys could not do it for me. They suggested I call a handyman, but I don’t trust the last guy I used so I called Frymire because they have always come through for me. A year ago, I gave Strittmatter a 5 star review. I am now updating to 1 star (8/17/24) due to the absolute terrible service and run around Ive received from them since purchasing not only an entirely new HVAC system, but also being one of their monthly comfort club customers. I had purchased my new HVAC system from them in May of 2023 and almost immediately had issues. They have been out to service the new unit at least half a dozen times because it has quit cooling/running since May 23. Each time they come out, it is another excuse as to why its not working. The last time they came out (10 days ago), they told me it was a required part that helped the unit switch modes so it could handle the high temps outside and that it would cost me over $300 to install. I told them there was no way I was going to pay for some part on my barely year old unit and that I wanted a supervisor to call me. The technician (very nice gentleman by the way) talked to his supervisor and then told me they would cover the part. I said that was fine but that I still wanted a supervisor to call me because of the numerous issues Id been having with the unit. Well, here we are 10 days later, my HVAC system is yet again not working, Ive yet to hear from any supervisor or manager and its over 80 degrees in my house with my 79 year old mom and 12 year old daughter also living in the house with me, and Im waiting yet again for strittmatter to call me back so I can get a tech out here. I will continue to keep my review as 1 star until Strittmatter rectifies this entire situation. I feel completely ripped off and like theyve sold me a complete lemon of an HVAC system.

Nathan was professional and took the time to explain the possible problems and what was found. He fixed our issue and made suggestions on preventive options but wasn’t pushy about the service. He showed up on time and was courteous around my dogs. Overall very happy with the service. And it didn’t cost an arm and a leg!

Good regular service but you pay $150 dollars yearly for them to come out 3 times to service your hvac system during sprint and fall, as well as check out your water heater. You also receive a discount on emergency calls. They charge a large fee for service calls. Worse is that since they bought out the Frymire name, they try to sell you things that you don’t need!

I cannot recommend Frymire & Strittmatter highly enough!! If I could give them 100 stars, I would. My HVAC system had been giving me problems for the past year or so, so I knew an entire HVAC replacement was due. These things always come at the worst time and the fear and dread of the cost and the steps involved had me in literal tears (first time homeowner). From the minute Felix Tijerina introduced himself and explained exactly the steps he was going to take, I was immediately put at ease!! Felix went over each step of the process and explained all the options available to me. He ensured I understood exactly the process that would take place and explained my financing options clearly too. I have quite literally gone from dreading this entire process to being EXTREMELY excited for my new HVAC system! All thanks to Felix! I must also mention the technician, Kris McLain who was called previously. He was very patient going over each problem my system had (older system), and instead of just fixing/band-aid-ing each individual problem to get money/a sale that day, he put me in touch with Felix so we could find a long term solution! Excellent customer service and excellent work.

HVAC technician Derrick was the best technician I have experienced in 30 years. He was on time, personable, polite and professional. Not only it took him only a minute to diagnose the problem of my A/C, but also he explained the problem and the mechanism of the parts that went bad to me in a way I understand. Then he told me what he was going to do, and how much it was going to cost. After he fixed it, he showed me the picture of what he put in, told me about the particular brand of the parts he put in, why thats good and what to expect in the future. He was so efficient that the A/C was back on in no time. Thank you, Derrick!

Our plumber/contact (Brandon Watts) was very pleasant and helpful, but the administrative system for your EASE Hot Water Heater program is a disgrace. We were not properly informed of important details in the contract prior to committing to the program. It was understood by the homeowner and Brandon, that at the end of the lease (after 8 years) that the homeowner would own the equipment outright. That is not what is stated in the contract and nowhere in your brochure is there any mention of the actual $800+ buyout fee. How can that fee be justified after paying for equipment for 8 years? Nobody would anticipate such an absurd expense! Overall, the brochure is unclear and not specific regarding important information about the program.Nor were we told that the homes deed holder (owner) had to be the individual to execute the contract. In this case, the homeowner of record is the wife but since we were not told of the ownership requirement, the husband executed the contract. That meant having to deal with a revised contract after the installers had already started their work! Neither Brandon nor the installers were aware of that provision. So, the installation was stopped while the contract was done over.The electronic signature program did not work properly causing unnecessary confusion and delays for the homeowner and Brandon. There was a great deal of back and forth trying to get a contract executed.The plumbers were terrific but they were not properly informed about all the details of the EASE program, causing them delays and embarassment.Because of your administrative shortcomings, we cancelled the EASE program, leaving us with the unreliable water heater that we had hoped to replace.The plumbers deserve an outstanding review for their consideration and professionalism. But the administrative end of the business is shameful. The plumbers should have been given a hard copy of the contract to provide to the homeowner for signature and should have been better briefed on key provisions of the contract so accurate information could be shared with the homeowner. Anything short of that amounts to terrible customer service. You must review and replace your way of handling the EASE Program. Your plumbers must be properly informed of the programs details. They are your primary contact with customers.We will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about this awful experience.

Very disappointed with this place. I called them and told Jennifer who I first spoke with that after a storm there was water leaking from one of the bedrooms that has soaked my rug on the floor. She asked if it was the mater bedroom. I said no it wasn’t. I didn’t know why this was important until after they came out to look at my place. Apparently they don’t provider any services on the outside. Just the inside of the house, hence which is why she asked if this was the master bedroom incase there was a leak coming from the master bathroom. I called back and spoke with Nick because I didn’t understand why they even came out to look at the leak if they can only provide services inside the house. I’m not a professional or anything but nothing about what I said, the rug getting soaked after a big storm sound like it was an issue with a pipe. And none of the other rooms had this issue except for the two bedrooms on the opposite side of the house which doesn’t have any bathrooms. I’m not sure why they came out and then couldn’t even give me a quote to fix it yet still charge me the fee for coming out. I called and spoke with Nick afterwards about how upset I am at this situation. Getting charge but not even given a quote to fix it. Nick assured me that he will have his manager look at the problem and possibly refund me back. He or his manager will give me a call back. That was weeks ago. No one called me back or gave me a refund.

Dave was fantastic; he was able to arrive within 30 minutes of my call and did a fantastic job. He took the time to explain exactly what I needed and why which was refreshing-- would definitely recommend!!

Jay did an awesome job on my broken bathroom sink! He was very courteous and professional. He showed me where the problem was coming from and worked until I had water turned back on.

Strittmatter always comes through for us. Weve been using them for years now, and have had a garbage disposal, AC unit and and a hot water heater all installed by them. I would like to thank Jon, Brandon and Parker for the great service and coming to the rescue with a outdoor water leak. Jon, who is a great neighbor came by Sunday to shut off the water coming from the sprinkler box as the water was flooding to the street. He also opened the ticket where the office call first thing Monday to schedule a same day visit.Brandon and Parker got here early, which was a plus. They were very, friendly, knowledgeable and went right to work locating the problem.The service from all three gentlemen was outstanding. Derrick did an awesome job coming to test my system, found the leak, helped me make it through the weekend and came promptly on Monday morning to take care of us. It was nice to work with someone and a company that cared more about getting the job done right, than making a buck.

Jace was very professional, he showed up on a Saturday evening which I was not expecting, and he did a very thorough job and explained everything to me. I recently had another repairmen come out and he left the job incomplete, so this experience was pleasant. I definitely would recommend Jace, and would call him in the future for any issues that come up.

Jacob looked at out faucets plumbing and water heater to make sure all was in order. He was incredibly professional and I would like to request him as our tech moving forward.

Cody was a sight for “clogged sewer eyes” it was truly enjoyable to have somebody with a sense of humor on a Sunday show up and fix my problem in an hour. We had a leak from our expansion tank that leaked from the attic into the house and this happened over the weekend. They were one of the only companies that answered to the call and the only company that sent someone out. When Angel showed up he was very comforting that the issue wasn’t dire and helped us through the process. He suggested a tank replacement and offered several different options as far as paying for the new tank. He was very professional and very upbeat during the process. When they came and did the repair they showed up on time and got the job done in about an hour. Very professional and I would use them in the future. They weren’t the cheapest, but they were the most responsive and I did feel as though the value for the work and professionalism was worth what we paid.

Brent Fangman was great! He spotted the real problem with our commode leak and it turned out to be much simpler and less expensive than what we thought. Highly recommend both Brent and Strittmater Plumbing.

Had a plumber come look at a leak on Friday. Supposed to be here between 12-2, he got here at 4:30. We had to leave and to go our son’s playoff football game at 5 but he said he could do it (wife was here alone).He came in, looked around and said we had a slab leak. Said we’d need the $500 leak detection process. He was 2 hours late, didn’t even turn on the water and diagnosed a problem that is probably going to cost around $10K to fix.Make your own decision but this seems like a money grab. At minimum, it was an unprofessional process (guy who came over was nice).Mike in Denton

Jay was here on time and was very courteous. He checked all of the drains and found a blockage in the guest bathroom. He explained the issue to me and said he would need to come back the next day. He did comeback and fixed the problem is less time than initially estimated. The bathrooms sink and toilet are now draining normally.

This is my second time using Strittmatter Plumbing. Again they provided exceptional service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional plumbers.

I had an experience with a company called Strittmatter last week when I requested a visit to address the issue of my AC unit not cooling below 74 degrees. The technician, Chris, repeatedly emphasized the age of the unit and suggested that it needed replacement. However, I have suspicions that he might have deliberately compromised the unit to facilitate a sales pitch, and this nearly led to an electrical incident in my home involving myself and my four children.Also throwing trash in my back yard instead of removing it once taken out the package for a coil replacement partMy concerns were heightened when I started detecting an electrical odor emanating from the AC unit. Subsequently, another service provider visited my residence and informed me that the central processing unit (CPU) of the AC no longer had a ground wire, resulting in a burnout. This situation raises serious doubts about the companys commitment to customer safety. It appears they might be leveraging the extreme heat conditions in Texas to pressure individuals into making hasty decisions.Adding to my concerns, Chris informed my landlord that unless the entire AC unit was replaced, it would likely fail within the following week. Remarkably, the AC did malfunction as he predicted, but the timing raises suspicions due to the prior electrical odor I had noticed.In conclusion, my experience with Strittmatter has left me uneasy. I believe there might have been questionable actions taken by their technician, Chris, which potentially compromised the safety of my household. The situation warrants further investigation and reflection on the practices of the company.

Nathan used his camera to inspect main drain line. The clog had cleared so no additional service needed. He did use his camera to locate main drain clean outs since stub outs were below grade. I paid about the same as oil change and balance for my truck. Incredible nice and professional guy. I know who to call next time.

Dillon was great. Professional and finished the job fast. I had 2 faucets which were leaking. One of them at the back yard. Dillion finished the job faster than I expected. Professionally arrived on time and did his job in an excellent manner. Highly recommend Strittmatter.
