AMC Services, Inc.

They are a dishonorable company. I look to see if they are with the BBB and they are not. That is a sign that their work is not worthy of their customers. Pic # 1 and #2 did not install a correct Air Filter box. See Pic # 3, #4 and #5, not installing the Duct work properly. They tore the Air Duct see Pic # 6. See Pic#11, #12, #13 see infrared reading Pic #6 Not installing Duct work properly. The result of their poor work and not closing the ducts properly mean next it creates mildew see Pic # 7 # 8, #9 and #10. They created mildew in my house that will cost over 10K. See Pic #14 and #15 - Plenum mounted to the not coil properly and not Crane products. Therefore, my house is has unbreathable air. The plenum returns the air in the room and using ductwork and send to the HVAC core. So, also it is recycling the mildew particles in my house. Per contract invoice they were to install al whole Crane system. It is not totally Crane. I had them out at my house a total of 10 times to fix other issues other than the ones I have above. They put the Pink insulation in my house and did not ask if there was another attic entrance. I pulled my attic door down and was covered in pink insulation. They did not adhere my duct work together properly or to the coil box. See Pic #10, # The Plenum mounted to the coil properly. Therefore, my house is has unbreathable air. I called the vendor to ask him to make it right and the owner ignored me and said he does not service my area anymore. Probably the reason they dont service my area is they did more customer wrong as well as myself. Do not TRUST this Horrible Company. HVAC specialist said Worst HVAC system he has seenI had to click a star to post this and they deserve ZERO STARS!!!!!!Signed D.T.You came out at least 10 to 15 time for maintenances and NEVER addressed the ducts not attached properly.Tried to post on X aka Twitter and they blocked me rather than making things right. This is a great company! All of the employees are so professional, helpful and kind. I appreciate them very much! Today we had to have our plenum replaced and Pedro did a great job and gave some really great advice about keeping the system in good condition. Im very grateful that AMC was able to diagnose and take care of the issue so quickly (and at a very reasonable price)! I highly recommend AMC!

These guys are absolutely awesome and I highly recommend them!!! They came out because one of my units was not working. It ended up being the switch in the attic next to the unit was turned off and therefore a very quick fix. They did not charge me a full service fee. They actually more than cut it in half Because it was such a quick fix. Love that and I will continue to use these guys!

The technician to fix my wine room cooler was very knowledgeable and friendly. Their prices on the other hand were pretty high. There was a $89 trip fee +2 hours of work for $149 an hour plus materials.

AMC installed my heat & AC unit when i built my house. 4 years later it was not cooling properly. I call in the morning, they scheduled for the afternoon. Service tech Pedro showed up was very professional and polite. He fixed the problem and also service my unit for the winter. I highly recommend this company.

AMC has been a lifesaver for BridgeWay Church. They have always been able to work us in to repair down units to keep the AC going. Office and technician staff are the best.

Excellent service AMC installed new Trane 5 ton XR14 and furnace. Replacing the old Trane (26 years). This July 2024, I did see a power and $ savings on the first power bill. The A/C actually cycles on and off during the hottest days. That hasnt happened in the last 6 to 7 years with temperatures above 93. During the first service, I requested the installation of a surge protector for the furnace (will have the condenser done in spring). Angle had the device on the truck. He installed and performed fall service. The surge protector is for my own peace of mind. For me, its cheap insurance. Very professional 👏.

We’ve got a 10 month old baby at home so when the AC stopped cooling at 8pm we were absolutely panicking. I called AMC services and Pedro Esquivel was at my house within a half hour. He was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Not only that. He didnt try to tack on a bunch of extras. He knew right away that it was the capacitor. He waited with me while me ecobee got itself all situated to actually turn on. Heres what I appreciated most though. Before he left he made me go inside with the laser thermometer to make sure that I was getting ice cold air because he knew it was late and I had a baby inside. Told me straight up he wasnt comfortable leaving until he knew I was getting cold air and there wasnt some other issue besides the compressor not kicking on. 5 stars for AMC and TEN STARS FOR PEDRO!!UPDATE! Had issues with my heating this winter so I knew who to call. They got someone out the next day (non emergency call so that was more than ok with me) and Angel just left. Again AMC was awesome. Angel took the time to fully explain my system and how my ecobee settings were all wrong. He completely checked my system, changed the settings on both ecobees and made it so it wasn’t running aux heat at all times. He also gave some suggestions on what I could to to further improve how my system disperses air throughout the house without pushing me to pay for anything extra. 10 stars for Angel too and I will always be calling AMC first and only when I need help.

Pedro came out and quickly diagnosed one of my A/C units issue…faulty valve. During the visit, he explained what he was doing…and was very professional. Then, he discussed options for repairing the unit and costs involved. Add to this their excellent customer service team when you call. Final point…they REALLY do keep time commitments and call you back promptly when they say they will. I will do business with them again in the future. Thank you.

We had a wonderful experience with AMC Services. They replaced our 18 year old HVAC system before another hot Texas summer. They were very fast, professional, and reasonably priced compared to other companies in the area. After the installation was complete, I changed my mind on what thermostat I wanted and they went above and beyond to help me figure out what thermostat would work best for our home. Air was out. Called for after hours emergency repair. Service man was 40 minutes away and had 3 other calls. He rearranged his schedule and came out right away. It was an easy fix but he tested out the whole system before leaving.

Have had them do the HVAC at my house for over a decade. Always do great work and Have a lot of integrity. Just repair what’s needed.Just Had them out them out for a Fall Tune up. Found one gas furnace(16 years old) had a crack in the heating element and high carbon monoxide emissions. Came out the next day to replace it. Techs were great as always.

Wonderful service from first call to the technician that repaired my AC! Came out the same day I called and even arrived early. I also appreciated the text message prior to the technician (Angel) arrival. He fixed my unit quickly and made sure the other unit was in good condition too.

AMC was quick to respond to my HVAC request for service and provided me with the name and picture of the service technician. The service technician Angel listened to my problem and explained what he found. After locating the problem he told me what parts would be required and would send a quote for the work. Very professional operation.

The technician was very professional and direct. He explained everything after testing and assessing the problem. He got things done in a timely manner without delay. The charges/pricings could have been worse but luckily it wasn’t too high.

We had been without a working AC for near 3 weeks when we just could keep risking my medically fragile kiddos any longer (although we did have portables in their room, it was still warm). We called as an emergency repair on a Saturday evening. Mario came in the time frame he said. He was very professional, very respectful, and fixed our issue. We could not be more grateful and wish we would have found them sooner. We will definitely use them for all our AC needs from now on.

The most responsive A/C company I have ever worked with. Arrived after traveling to a90 degree house and called them at 8pm and they arrived shortly after. Power surge took out controller and blower. We’ve used AMC Services since we bought our home in 2013. The previous owner gave them a glowing recommendation. Thru our years of work with this company, they have always been very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Last fall, we had them replace four complete systems in a ranch house we bought in 2015. We had issues with the units during the February winter storms. They sent someone who came in horrible weather to get us heat again. He didn’t finish at 10 in the evening, so came back early the next morning in the worst weather . We LOVE AMC Services. All of their technicians have been wonderful. Their dedication to providing high quality service is incredible.

My a/c went out and I called a bunch of companies to come out. A bunch of them came out to give quotes. One company offered the lowest price, my wife wanted them. I checked and all the reviews were 1stars and complaints.AMC had almost all 5 star reviews I liked them but their price was high. I googled again and found that the most important part of a system was less what company made the ac and more what company installed the system.I called AMC to ask why their price was higher. The secretary said “I’m not the one to answer that, what’s your number” I gave my name and number and the secretary replied “I’ll have the owner call you.”I figured I’d be waiting for a day or two. About five minutes later the owner called me, with information about why he quoted what he did, the reason he was worth it and what all the extra costs really meant. He asked what the other company quoted, it was about 3k cheaper. He said “let me see what prices I can move around and I’ll call you back.” He called back in 30 minutes with multiple options. He brought the cost almost as low as the competition but said it lost multiple factors. He didn’t push the high price option, he showed me the options and let me pick. I ended up keeping the best options he recommended and he still cut over 1k off the price.He said when can we start.I said ASAP. He replied tomorrow 8am!They showed up about 0802. It was installed quickly, professionally and confidently. And it works amazingly!I have complete confidence in the system now. Also, I am completely confident that if I had a problem with it and called AMC they would quickly come check it out and fix it ASAP.They’re the kind of place that gives accurate estimates, provides awesome work, and stands behind their product.I would confidently recommend this company. The technician, Angel, was very professional but also friendly. There is a Kildeer bird’s nest in my driveway and I appreciate that he was very careful to go around it when I met him at the gate. As far as the service call, he explained everything thoroughly to us. This is also the same company that installed our outside unit 2 years ago. We have had no problems and will continue to get semi-annual service checkups to keep it that way. Thank you very much Angel.

AMC has serviced the large church facility I manage for over 10 years. It is an older under maintained building with multiple complicated HVAC systems and they keep us up and running! More recently I had a unit go out at my home over the weekend and on the hottest day of the year so far they were able to install a new unit and get the house cool and comfortable for my family. The goal is to NOT be on a first name basis with your HVAC company but if you have to be these are the folks for you!! Angel, Mario, Alex and Nathan thanks for getting us cool at home last weekend! They were very competitive with pricing of my new AC unit. I called for a quote and they came out the same day. During installation they were on time. The only thing I wish they did was show my husband the new unit in the attic and go over where the filter was located and a review of the new AC . But overall very satisfied and would recommend them .

AC stopped working, called AMC services and they were out a few hours later. The service tech Freddy was very friendly and professional, quickly found the issue and got us up an running. Highly recommend.

Called them out for an emergency as I have 6 kids in the house. They got here about an hour & a half after called. The guy said there was a wasp nest in the unit so he needed to spray to kill it & he would come back first thing in the morning to fix it. Well he didn’t have any wasp spray which is fine so we gave him ours to use. The following day the office calls & says they will have someone out between 4-6 that evening. It was already 81 in the house & I told them no. They said okay we can have someone there at 10. He came out & “fixed” the parts that needed to be replaced but said it didn’t work. We needed a compressor. We decided we wanted a second opinion before spending the $1,200 in labor & so we had another company come out. After looking for 10 mins at the unit & parts replaced they told us we didn’t need a compressor the technician that installed the parts wired them wrong. He fixed it within 10 mins. Very poor workmanship. The only helpful person was the office clerk who called to collect the payment. Do better!

They came in the cold to put in our new unit, they worked with us to get a good date, were very respectful, when an emergency situation came up for us they called to see if they could move us back to our Friday slot we had originally. I was happy to be moved and allow another family to have heat durning our small winter storm. They honored the quote from a few months back even with the inflation rates as they were. Their techs were polite and good about protecting our carpet, walls and exterior while removing and replacing our hvac system. I’m happy with the service we received, the phone calls when they were running late due to icy roads (which honestly wasn’t needed but was nice anyway) and the follow up. Fantastic team, and company. Will use them in the future for all our needs!

This is the kind of company I like to do business with! We had an old 4 ton and 2 ton setup cooling the house. We wanted to modernize the house with a new 5-ton system with zones. We got multiple quotes from multiple businesses and AMC was a pleasure to deal with. They came out multiple times as my opinion of what I wanted changed and they were happy to discuss options and what would be best for us and what would fit within our budget. During the install the guys showed up on time, they were professional, and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I couldn’t be happier with the install and I would highly recommend them.

The AC in my duplex went out, and Francisco arrived the very next day, within 24 hours of the original call. AMC kept me in the loop on who was coming, a picture of the technician (Francisco) and the vehicle so I knew exactly who to expect. The text message provided the photo and a link to see where he was while en route to me. AMC went above and beyond to help us feel at ease. Francisco was very helpful, professional, and courteous. I didnt feel for a second that he was being untrustworthy in order to suck money out of me. AMC answers their phone when you call them, and they do whatever they can to help their clients. If I wasnt moving to a different state, they would be my only AC repair company for years to come.

AMC services is an ethical and conscientious company. Their support had been stellar, the rep Angel explained things in a way that made sense to me, the homeowner, so I could make an informed decision. I did not feel pressured to make a choice if I needed to think something over.

This was our first experience using AMC Services and it was fantastic. Our tech did not give us the feeling that we were being ripped off as it has happened with other A/C service companies. Our tech, Angel Gallegos was fantastic.

Angel is/was so fast, kind and helpful. My upstairs unit went out, and my kids were burning up. He assessed the system both inside and outside, and made sure that everything was in proper order and work well before he left. No AC in the summer would have been unimaginable! Angel was sweet, informative, straight forward and to the point. Our a/c wasnt working right and it was 90 degrees. I was not having it. They came out on time, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Definitely would use them again. But hopefully we wont need to because this was hell.

Rob and his crew have been great to work with.Last summer AMC put in a new air handler unit for a reasonable cost.When I tried the a/c unit a couple of weeks ago it wouldn’t come on. I needed to get the word out and correct an earlier opinion. In the heat of summer our A/C failed and we had a family situation that precluded using a hotel . These folks came out on the weekend worked tirelessly and explored all options and In the end were able to repair the unit at a very affordable price . I was referred to AMC by a friend who loved them. I was told to ask for Angel and thank god I did. The organization and professionalism blows the other companies I’ve dealt with out of the water. Angel won a customer for life from me.

My AC went out at 2pm, called another company (that I have a maintenance contract with) and they couldn’t get anyone out until noon the next day. Called AMC and they routed a tech that night. Needed a new AC and AMC had one picked up the next morning and installed a couple of hours later. Two very friendly techs, a dispatcher and owner that called me back to check on how it all was going and stayed in constant communication. I will not be renewing my contract with the other company and will only use AMC from now on.

They came in Thursday on 09/28/2023 to replace my entire ac unit inside and outside. Within 2 days of them replacing it. Water was dripping from the ceiling and the ceiling tiles fell apart returned and was just rude and very unprofessional

Disappointed with response. Needed emergency repair. Called at 10Pm for emergency service. Said they put me on the list for dispatch but never heard back. If they were backed up, would have been courteous to at least let me know.
