Comfort Tech Service Now

I had an emergency and the company did show up on time. Then I was charged $189 for a misdiagnosis. Then they wanted $800 for 3 hours of work or $3,000 flat rate stating I won’t get another contractor in short order. I did the $800 because I had no choice. They came and realized what they were working on (jackhammering my slab - see photo) wasn’t the problem! Then the owner asked me what he should charge me! I had no words. He left not charging me anything but said I can’t use his services anymore. They don’t have to worry about that! Then I notice they didn’t clean up or put the hot water heater back together. They just left. Buyer beware!

Juan has previously done a major overhaul on one of the units in our home. They did such an amazing job that Im having him do another. After this, Im having Comfort Tech do some plumbing overhauls. Gil came to replace our thermostat. It went out of commission and our a/c would not work. We called about 8 am and he was here before 9 and gone in an hour . He replaced and checked out system to make sure it worked and we are happy campers. Gil is always polite and friendly and knows what he is doing!

Originally called for service on our AC Unit, and it turned into finding a much larger issue with the entire duct system of our house. Juan came by to do the service and listened to a complaint my wife and I had about how dust was just collecting in the house, no matter how much we vacuumed and dusted. He went above and beyond what he was originally here to do. He went up into out attic even though it was already 8PM, well past what I imagine his shift ran. What he discovered was more than just a little issue we had with the AC’s fan. The ducting appeared to be a bandaid job with a plywood box for the main line, and branches that were just taped on. He talked us through what he saw and offered many options as to how we could go forward. Never once did we feel pressured into taking on such a massive project, he laid out everything to make sure our decision was educated. Answered out questions without hesitation and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. Overall the project took two and a half days, any concerns were handled with great attention. Juan’s team did an excellent job.The only complaint we have is we wish there were text reminders about upcoming service appointments. I would not hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

I had my yearly A/C system maintenance check done on January 10 2025 by juanito Trevino. He performed a very thorough and professional job on my system. He even explained every check he was performing. Also fixed my humidifier, that wasnt working, that I wasnt aware it wasnt working. Which is part of the a/c system. I also mentioned that the outside a/c unit was making alot of noise every time it shuts down. He assured me all the system is operating in top shape, but he would listen to it and would let the manufacturer know and get back to me with an answer the following week. Over all Im very well satisfied with the work Juan did. Superb job done.

Mr. Huerta, Mr. Trevino, Mr. Willis and the other Technicians that visit my home are very Professional and helpful. I am a stickler for detail and they go above all. Great expertise, wonderful customer service. After poor experiences with 3 other companies scheduled through a home warranty service, Comfort Tech solved all my issues.Gilbert and Arturo have serviced my units, both have a very nonstandard installation by previous owner. Arturo came back multiple times to repair then monitor a catastrophic drainage issue and continued to make adjustments until correct, all at the upfront price. Gilbert is very experienced and has serviced this home since construction in 2006. He recently managed installation of a new main system and recharged the supplemental system at no charge. I wish I had scheduled with Comfort Tech my first year of residence!Financing is flexible through Synchrony. Recommend calling the local office to schedule during business hours, the corporate after hours line does not always successfully establish appointments with the local office.

Gilbert came out to look at a very old system that was in a house we had just purchased. Went over all our options regarding repair vs replacement. He managed to get our old system up and running but we did decide to go ahead and replace it.Gilbert was friendly, polite and professional. We highly recommend him and Service Now.

I found out the hard way that you don’t want to be without AC in the middle of July in Del Rio, Texas! My AC gave out while I was out of town. I came home to a 94 degree hot box! Gilbert Sanchez was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and extremely efficient! He did an OUTSTANDING job taking care of the necessary repairs on my AC unit. I was also impressed with the different price options he presented as there is something there to fit every budget need. Gilbert was on time to inspect two systems we were having issues with. He was quick to discover problems and offered options for repair. We decided to replace one system and further test the other. We agreed on work to be done and scheduled an installation date that worked very well for us.So far I am very pleased with Comfort Tech.

Got technians out to check and repair AC unit. They replace capacitor and contacts, 290 for one and 280 for the other, both parts together are less the 100 dollars together and then 36 dollar card fee. Will not recommend to anyone.

Jason was great, I called for maintenance and he was there a couple hours later. He serviced my AC, installed a thermostat and fixed my hot water heater. He was professional, friendly, explained everything that was wrong with my appliance along the way. He was here about six hours until the job was done.Ive always been impressed with the friendly, professional, and courteous behavior these guys from Comfort Tech show their customers.

This is our second time using comfort tech and we couldnt be happier with the service. The employees, knowledge, pricing and quickness was amazing. The projects that we had done were not easy and required a lot of work but Adolfo and his team took care of it quickly. Adolfo was very upfront and honest along with sharing everything he diagnosed. He would actually explain the problem and solution, not just tell you its broken. I hope we dont have anymore issues in the future but if we do, comfort tech will be our first call!

How my husband and I terribly miss the Service Now team in Del Rio. They are so dependable, knowledgeable, just completely awesome. They installed a heat pump in our home we purchased in 2004 and took care of us until we sold our home and moved to Austin. We are now purchasing our next home; but unfortunately, they do not service our new location which is much further, very unfortunate for us. We have trusted Service Now from day one, so 15 years later, I just called Service Now and spoke to Art for advice as well as for a possible name of a company in our area that provides the same identical service that Service Now provided us for so many years when we were in their service area. Very professional! Our A/C went out at 6 p.m I called and right away they set up for someone to come to our house to repair it. Art was incredibly nice and professional and explained exactly what was wrong with our unit. They were booked for the night and next day but I told them I just had a baby and made sure I was taken care of. Will be using them again in the future if needed!

Troubleshoot A/C & needing part & ordered & waiting for arrival to repair.Well I reported A/C on Wednesday at 12:30 pm & it was check on Thursday morning which part was reported & ordered. I checked Friday morning & checked on status all day & finally received call from serviceman by text & told me it would take 1-3 working days for the part. Not complaining about the serviceman but Company as big as it is where there supposed to be highly in service. If you sold a unit to a customer then you should have parts in the warehouse not order from the factory. I paid a large amount for the unit & I’ve had major parts go bad & minor parts that I found that was wrong.Ok it’s Monday & didn’t get a call on status until I call them. She advised me part still in order but NO information on when or Where the part is. Was going to contact warehouse to to contact me & nothing yet (2:45 pm.).wish Someone would call me on a positive note on repairs.
