Albert and his whole crew are a step above the usual service crew. Ive been going to Auto Rebuilders over ten years and every experience has been outstanding. I totally trust their diagnosis of any vehicle I take in. Ive NEVER had to take a vehicle back to fix what should have been fixed the first time. An honest car repair business.

I just got my car back from Auto Rebuilders and I can honestly say they are the best here in Del Rio. I would not take my car nowhere else but here and the main reason being is they are honest and true to their word with great pricing. I was notified while my car was in the shop of some additional repairs with photos that were needed and asked for my permission before just slapping new parts on and having a price change without me knowing like most shops do. I already have my next preventative maintenance appointment scheduled in 4 more weeks! I’m happy I have found my mechanic that I can trust 110% with my vehicle and have absolutely no worries with.

I cannot recommend this place enough. They were able to get my car fixed up sooner than expected, at a very reasonable price, and the customer service is top notch. This is definitely the place to go for all of your auto repair needs.

I cant recommend this place enough. Hospitality and customer service was excellent. The shop manager Albert Mendoza went above and beyond to make sure my cars alternator was replaced in a timely manner. I can tell that Albert has a passion for auto work and helping others! Albert even offered me a ride in case my car was not done in time. You will find all your car needs here too. Albert helped me not only get an alternator at a great price (compared to a local auto parts chain in town), but he also ordered it on the spot without difficulty. The best knowledge, price, passion and work ethic is definitely at Auto Rebuilders! Coffee is great too!

I had an issue with my door handle not opening. Another shop was telling me I had to replace entire handle costing $$$. Called Albert and they were kind enough to pick up my vehicle and found the problem easily. Did not need new handle saving me lots of money. Great customer service at a great price point. I was visiting for the holiday weekend from Austin Texas and my oil indicator light came on. I could not find a place to provide me the service I needed, not even the Chevrolet dealership. Luckily, I found this hidden gem, auto rebuilders service center. Mr. Albert Mendoza was great, courteous and professional! He had my vehicle back to me within the hour after performing a 21 point inspection on my 2017 Tahoe as well. Probably the best experience I’ve had at a shop. Jeremy, I think, the shop manager. Very helpful! When I called to make the appointment he walked me through it all and made me feel at ease. I left my car there and he called telling me it was fine and I ended up not needing anything I went in for fixed, so I just asked to change the breaks since they already had the car there. I also met the owner she was nice enough to drop me off at home so I didn’t have to wait for them to finish. Affordable pricing as well. Def recommend.

I used this service to replace a rear main gasket and seal on a 2009 GMC Yukon. The lady who took my call was sweet and took the time answer all my questions. If she did not know the answer she would find the answer. The work was done extremely well and in a timely manner. The mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly. Best part the prices are fair, this was a $2000 plus job at a dealer and they did it for almost half. Great place, highly recommend!!!

Auto Rebuilders is the only place I’d take my Honda Odyssey here. I’ve had to have it in twice, once for a tire issue and this time for a dead battery. They always have great customer service, are very friendly & helpful. They run an honest business and are always been easy to deal with in the stress of having a car that needs fixing.

If you are looking for old school service where they actually care about great customer service and treat you like your satisfaction is the difference on whether they will stay in business or not; Auto Rebuilders is your only choice!I had a blowout in my truck which caused some serious damage. I was not from Del Rio and was on my way home, so they went the EXTRA mile by calling every parts store in town to find the needed replacement parts, and when they discovered that they would have to order the parts from out of town, they were kind enough to drive me to a nearby hotel. My replacement parts were scheduled to arrive the next morning by 6am... they were there early to ensure they got my parts first so they could begin working on my truck and get me back on the road ASAP.My truck was ready by 10am and they picked me up from the hotel, let me test drive my truck to ensure it was running as it should and I was back on the road back home!Never in my life have I ever given any tips to ANY auto repair shop because I personally feel they over charge and often do the bare minimum to repair your vehicle.... Auto Rebuilders Service Center is the ONLY shop where I tipped them $100 because of their service and customer service.If you need auto repair, do not waste your time with any other repair shop. Even if they are booked for days, wait. They are absolutely top notch and they will do the repairs the right way, the first time!

Im a full time traveler only in town for a few days. I stopped by Auto Rebuilders to see if they could fit an oil change into their schedule. They were booked for the next couple weeks but determined they could squeeze me in right then. Staff is awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. While rotating the tires they discovered my brake pads were almost shot. The mechanic worked through his lunch break to get me back on the road. I had a great experience with Auto Rebuilders and feel confident in recommending their services to anyone.

This is a GREAT shop. I wish I lived closer so I could use them all of the time. We were on vacation and had a serious brake failure on the pickup. Albert and the Auto Rebuilders team took care of the problem and kept me informed at every point in the repair. And we were able to continue on the trip.

Went there because of the great reviews. Courteous but horribly overbooked and/or understaffed. Gave me an appointment 3 weeks out. That is, an appointment to take a look at my truck and maybe tell me what the problem is. Excuse me, my transmission is slipping. Really cannot wait 3 weeks. Good luck with the growth pains.

If I could give above 5 stars I would. Jeremy, the shop manager, was beyond phenomenal. Was in a pinch with time, only needed a 5-10 minute repair done. Was promised service at Rudy’s and waited over an hour, only to have him take another client who came in much after me with no appointment. Went to Rudy’s, Chevy dealership, and others. None would help me. Jeremy immediately helped me and had me out of the door in less than 10 minutes. Not to mention, he didn’t even charge me as it was such an easy fix, just something I couldn’t do without the use of a lift. Again, can’t reccommend this place enough. Don’t bother with other shops... Auto Rebuilders is the best and most friendly place in town. Don’t waste your time elsewhere. Best service center in Del Rio area.

I did a search of the best auto mechanic and came up with Auto Rebuilders. We are so thankful that we went to Jeremy. He gave us prompt service and great prices. I would recommend him to anyone. I like the fact that they keep track of what was done and we have an online account that we can access to look at the work that was done which will help us stay on schedule.

Another great experience with this place of business. They have a new owner, Albert, who is a standup guy, and I can vouch and say it’s the same great small business service, very competitive/fair prices, and they are willing to help out in the ways that they can. Will continue to use them for all auto repair services, and would recommend to anyone in the area. There’s nothing bad to be said.

This place is the best you can get! Being on the road for a long time, we are lucky that our van broke down in Del Rio and not somewhere else. They took care of our van right away and put us back on the road in no time, even though they had their hands full. I took my car to get it repaired when the clutch started dropping to the floor. The owner was ver honest, pricing was great and the work was done quite fast. They even stayed open for an extra half an hour to allow me to retrieve the car after work. I absolutely recommend this shop. I know I will be coming back in the future for any of my mechanical needs. Great experience.

They are excellent mechanics. They fixed my oil leak the same day I brought in the truck, and charged only a fraction of what the dealer had quoted. Its great to have such competent and honest mechanics in town. I will definitely go back there for all my mechanical needs.

My husband and I were on our way back to Florida from Big Bend when our brakes went in our 2017 GMC dually. These guys are honest, good mechanics, diagnosed the issue ASAP, ordered the part, and had us back on the road in less than two hours. Very reasonable. I only wish we had a place like this in north Florida! Highly recommend them. They’re super. Nice guys too!

Five stars is an understatement. I called this business when I was stranded in the desert outside of Big Bend. My car wouldn’t shift into gear and I tried everything I could think of. Del Río was the closest reliable city to us at 220 miles away! I found this business on Google and spoke to Jeremy. My original plan was to get AAA to take us all the way to his shop but instead Jeremy diagnosed the issue over the phone and I was able to troubleshoot and drive myself to his shop. When I got there, turns out his advice totally fixed my issue and no work was needed. I tried to tip them and they wouldn’t even take it! These guys are honest and good-hearted Texans. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude writing this.

On our way to Big Bend we heard troubling noise from our real wheel on our Prius. We stopped in Del Rio at the Toyota dealer but were troubled by their advice and amount to fix the brake. We opted for a second opinion from Auto Rebuilders. We left the car with them at 7am, they offered a ride back to the hotel, gave us an estimate 1.5 hours later ($500 less than the Dealer!) and we were back on the road 2 hours later. The service was wonderful, staff were pleasant, and we were very satisfied with the work. No trouble with the car 2,500 miles traveling home. Would highly recommend anyone traveling with car problems stop here - you will not be disappointed.

Brought my Tahoe in to get looked at and turns out I needed repairs on my differential. Jeremy didn’t charge me anything to diagnose the problem and Even though differential repair services had not been a capability of theirs for some time, Jeremy and his crew went outside normal operating policy and found and installed a replacement differential for me with a turnaround time of less than 24 hours. Auto Rebuilders provide quality work and excellent customer service from drop off to pick up. 2 thumbs way up.

I was very much pleased with the service I received at Auto Rebuilders Service Center. I was going out of town in a couple of days and needed my oil pressure sensor replaced. Jeremy got me in the day after I called and had the job done in less than two hours after I dropped it off. It is very rare to experience this kind of customer service. Jeremy was professional and organized and I was pleased with the service until I got out on the highway and I thought I had run out of gas, however, my son brought gas and checked the leak under the truck. They had not put the new fuel filter on properly. I was stranded on Highway 90 for over an hour while my son was on his way. He determined that the fuel filter was leaking and he fixed it. I was not happy about that. I had heard really good things about Auto Rebuilders. I am not sure I will be going back. I lost about $20.00 worth of gas and being 83, was a little uncomfortable being stranded on the busy highway. Two highway patrol drove by and did not stop to check.

I thought 5 out of 5 stars for all reviews? No way. YES!! This is a fantastic auto repair facility. Professional service and reasonable prices. Do not hesitate to use this shop. Jeremy and is crew are great! Many thanks to them for a great job.

This is a great shop. They communicate well, charge fair prices (and actually less than I expect), and fix the problem quickly. Ive used them several times with both of my vehicles and have been very happy to find a good mechanic in Del Rio.

Terrible. They said they would have my car done by a certain day, but failed to do so, thus leaving me without transportation, and when they finally did the job...my car was leaking oil from cylinder block. Oh and I forgot to mention the chic in the office. She has an Attitude Problem....doesnt want to relay messages...looks Miserable like she hates to be at work. I mean what the heck does she do??...nothing thats what. Jeremy and the Lady before were way more Professional, and Albert let me down by Leaving me stranded. This Place is going down the Drain. Trust me folks these folks aint no good.

Its rare to find someone and especially a business anymore that will work with you & also do what they say they will do... Jeremy the shop manager and the entire staff are basically a godsend to the Del Rio community. Old school ethics, honest and respectful, and obviously building a customer base that is very deep and loyal. And that is exactly how I found them from two other loyal businesses / customers.. all I can say is that Im 100% satisfied with the work they did on my little Jeep, ( brake calipers and driveline u-joints ) ... I am retired military USAF, and trying to rebuild a 93 jeep for some over the road camping trips up to Colorado and surrounding areas. I dont need to be broken down someplace in the middle of nowhere because of sloppy workmanship. So being able to sit down with Jeremy and share my concerns, and have an honest conversation then listening to his sincerity in doing his very best to make it happen speaks volumes..

Best Mechanics in Del Rio. Auto Rebuilders do a great job. They are a little bit more expensive but have an excellent turn around time and a friendly staff. I have taken multiple cars to them over the past few years and have been completely satisfied. It is not unusual to have your car fixed the same day.

I highly recommend Auto Rebuilders. Jeremy was very professional and everyone working there is very helpful. They will not rip you off and will be honest if they are not sure of the problem. Jeremy is always very nice and kind and very straight forward with what the problem is, i had a skunk2 throttle body and manifold installed but i completely forgot that it was missing the manifold gasket but jeremy called and had it in the next day! My car has been running very good since.

On a 10000 mile roadtrip. My Mercedes Sprinter RV put up a yellow light. Brake pads need replacement. I googled. Saw that auto repair in Del Rio is on my route. 5 stars all the way. Too good to be true??? Nevertheless I made an appointment on their website on a Thursday still far from Del Rio. Never got a reply. But when I showed up on Monday about 8:00. The replacement parts were lying right on the office table. A mechanic started right away as I was kind of passing through and by 11:00 I was on my way. Friendly people, great service , good price. Five stars easy. And as a bonus... the mechanic ask where I was going (Big Bend) Oh.. the Terlingua chilie championship either was last weekend or next. It is next. And I am going. That is worth a 6th star.Thank you all you took a lot of anxiety out of my road trip. Yes from Alaska.

Very Hard to Find some to work on BMW’s. I was referred over to Auto Builders for a check engine. Instead of driving 3 hours to San Antonio I drove 5 mins. Problem solved and Fixed. Quick turnaround. I will be using this business from now on. Highly Recommend

My car was quickly taken care of and the manager gave me updates along the way about what the problem was, the pricing, and what options I had as far as saving money was concerned. Jeremy was great to do business with and I highly recommend their services.

I prefer to do my own mechanical work whenever possible. But Im smart enough to recognize my limitations. That CHECK ENGINE LIGHT is one of them.I made an appointment, got my car to them, got a ride home and later that day they called telling me that the car was ready. The price was under what I was guessing it was going to be. I also know that should the same problem should reoccur that they will take care of it.

They were able to fix my AC same day, even I was calling at 2pm. Very fast and friendly. Anclean auto shop! They came recommend by someone on FB, and now they have a new loyal customer!

Took my car to get it checked for not starting after 3 weeks that my car was there they let me know that my car had no compression on some cylinders i asked them how could they repair it they answered replacing motor and got second opinion they said engine was repairable plus they left my car with interior panels on steering and computer compartment just laying in the back seat very very disappointed with them after reading good reviews not good business 👎👎👎

This place is awesome. I went in to get my AC diagnosed and my right rear brake and rotor checked. The price was reasonable and way better than other shop.
