Workers were fine and did the job, cleaned up well. Price a little steep and hourly, with full charge on the beginning of the new hour… so naturally we paid two hours work for an hour and ten minutes. It was difficult to get an idea of the time they were coming. In a pinch I would use them again.

We got our Generac generator installed with Dayton Electric several years ago. Each year I purchase the maintenance on the Generac. This is a very affordable and necessary expense when you have a whole home generator. This past year I was unable to purchase the maintenance plan the same month that I usually purchase it. When I bought it three months after, there was a mixup and the is plan to do the maintenance every six months. When it was missed that they were supposed to come before the cold months hit, I called and they came out the same day to make it right. I highly recommend using this company. Integrity is a rare characteristic these days. Thanks to Dayton Electric for showing that there are companies that still have that.

WONDERFUL COMPANY ‼️. From the ladies who answer the phone , and work in the office, to the electricians themselves, EVERYONE is TOP NOTCH!!!! We had an extensive amount of work done recently and had the privilege to get to know many of the electricians! And was it Ever a PRIVILEGE! I called right after hurricane Beryl, gave my address phone number and was asked if I could wait because I got power back, NP so they put me on a list. Never got a call back so I called them today and I was told they don’t service my area and they would call me back today and see if they could fit me in any way. Well no call back. If they would have told me 3 weeks ago I would have found someone else. A courtesy call would have been appreciated

EXELENTTTTTT Company and people. I needed help with my well water pump. It had no electricity going to it. Even though they dont do wells, they decided to come over on a Saturday after work hours to try to see if they could help, and they did. Give them a try. You will not be sorry.

I used them today. Red was super helpful, professional and arrived earlier than expected. He troubleshooted quickly and fixed my generator.I will use this company for my other house as well. Awesome service.

Our generator stopped working on the Friday before the hurricane. Contacted Dayton Electric and they were here Tuesday morning despite all that was going on. Got it going and we were happy! Thank you Dayton Electric for your quick response in sending Richard who quickly found the problem.

Called DEC about an AC problem, particularly a new thermostat. Eric came, took care of my issue quickly and at a very reasonable cost. I’m happy with the service Eric provided.

Woke up to one of my shop AC units not running. Called Dayton Electric and they had a service technician out here within the hour. I was NOT expecting that fast of a response. The tech was friendly and professional. The price was fair for the work performed. I will definitely call again if I need to. Thank you very much!

We had a delivery truck driver pull down our electricity service pole while exiting our property. He never stopped. We called James Haggard with Dayton Electric and he came out next day to give us a quote to replace damaged pole and get service to our property. This morning, Richard and Keith came to do the install. Very professional and thorough. Answered any questions we had. Very knowledgeable about code requirements to ensure we were in compliance. Would highly recommend Dayton Electric to anyone. They will do a good job for you.

I would like to say that I was very pleased doing business with Dayton electric . Reasonably priced and the quality of the flush mounted LED lights I had them install was above my expectations. It was nice to finally have a local contractor do what they say they are going to do within the price and time that you were told. Very pleased and would definitely recommend them. great job!!!

Do not use this electrician. I had a horrible experience with the owner. The company incorrectly installed an outdoor GFCI which led to a short circuit months later. The electrician left a bare wire exposed on installation. I called them to find the short, at the time the source was unknown.The technician who was nice enough found the issue in the same GFCI they had installed earlier. After paying over $400 for the fix, I asked if they would cover the fix because they had missed this on the install. You can guess what happened.The owner was a total jerk. He asked me if I was an engineer and was extremely derogatory. As if, a repeat costumer had the nerve to ask for them to cover an issue that they themselves caused earlier.Am I to believe that the bare wire damaged itself? The GFCI was not even used once.Dayton electric is very over priced. I know I was paying a premium for the service but I expected to be treated as such with premium service. I was sadly mistaken.Don’t learn the hard way as I did. Avoid this company. They will not honor their work or warranty.I also once asked for a quote for two full HVAC installations. Their price was about 40% higher than other professional companies. Don’t get ripped off.

When I called to request service, the lady was really nice and got me scheduled for the job quickly. The technician called when he was on his way and introduced himself and was very nice as well. He was finished in no time. We’ll be using this company for any electrical work we need done in the future.

I definately recommend Dayton Electric. When my ac started having problems they promptly sent some one out to fix it and we were nice and cool by noon! They are fast and they do the job right. They have also done work at my place of employment and I have seen the great work they do. They were always prompt when they got called to fix somthing and always did it right the first time. They were always dependable and honest and are very dedicated to providing their customers the best service possible.

I called Dayton Electric Company on Sept. 30 early in the morning to set up an appointment to have work done in my house. I talked to a very pleasant lady about scheduling work at my home. I never received any follow up for the work that I requested. It shouldnt take all day to look over your work schedule for the week and set up an appointment for a potential client.I work for a multi billion dollar company and work with hundreds of people every day. When Im asked to perform a job I look over my scheduled work for that day/week. I contact that person with in the hour to set up the work.

I purchased an home generator from them about 2-3 years ago, was installed just like I wanted and has been working fine till recently, had a issue and called, made an appointment and they showed up on time, checked unit, repaired quickly and professionally, very happy with experience of my purchaseKeep up the good work !

I called Dayton electric after calling another local company who said they couldn’t have anyone out to my business until Tuesday...4 days from today. Dayton electric had someone out to look at my ac within an hour. They also went to pick up a part in Houston in order to fix my ac today...the previous company literally took two weeks to get the same part!! My business didn’t have any ac for two weeks in 95 degree weather. Dayton electric not only fixed the ac the same day, but they are also coming back to add some parts to the ac unit so this won’t happen again. I highly recommend them, they are super friendly and very efficient. Seriously don’t waste your time with the other ac companies in Dayton. Call Dayton Electric first.
