10 Minute Oil Change, Ferguson

These people told my wife that the rear brake pads needed replacing. She agreed and paid them $150. This was in April, 2024. Today (December 12, 2024) I took the car into my reliable shop. They told me the rear brake pads needed replacement. Ten Minute Oil Change either didnt do the work or put on brake pads made out of marshmallows.

Showed up 30 minutes before they close and they had all the gates shut. All parked in the back getting drinking their beers and getting wasted telling me they were closed. I stated time says they closed at 6. And one of them stated they decided to shut it down early to have a good time. Absolutely unprofessional

This place is terrible. They did an oil change on my Lincoln mkz and overfilled it with oil. I had to pay the Lincoln dealership over $250 to drain and replace the oil after my car was running badly. They also send a dirty kid with a ratty air filter to tell you that yours needs to be replaced, and its not your actual filter.

I went there to get my brakes done and they locked them up and changed me 1600$. Told me its nothing they can do. This was in September. My car still not fixed. They messed up my car. I got the receipts to prove. They will trash your vehicle for cash. Im going to be getting me a lawyer for the cash they stole.

I took my 2020 Chevy Equinox for a state inspection because today is the last day of August and my sticker expires today. Chuck Fairbanks where I usually go had no appointments. The employee at this place comes to get me to show me that the rubber on my windshield was peeling off. I was like really!? How much is that? We have some 50, 60, and 70. I got in my car and went right to Chuck Fairbanks to see if they could work me in and they did. The guy at Chuck Fairbanks told me if its peeled down an inch or more it has to be replaced. Guess what, it was only an inch. The cleanest inch I ever seen. Didnt look worn or anything. It was a clean cut. I will never go back to this place. My first and last time.

I have been a customer here for over fifteen years. I think today will be my last visit. Ive had four oil changes in the last year and everytime I have come in they were out of regular oil and I was forced to go high mileage for additional money. Today they just came out and said they werent going to carry it anymore. I pressed the issue and was told that was then, this is now. I them inquired about the multiple signs saying 29.99$ oil change. I got silence. I guess its time to move on to a different spot. Things have definitely changed since the gentleman with the birds left.

Oil change is outrageous!I asked why? He said it was high mileage oil and that is what the computer says.I dive 12 miles per day to work & home. Will be shopping around.

Went in for 4 repairs water pump, brake pads replaced, light bulb replaced, hood shock was replaced & had my car back by 2:00pm

Dont come here, listen to the reviews. They charge you for stuff you think you need and dont even fix the problem.

Went for a simple full service oil change and left with a bill of $250 the next day. When I went to ask for reimbursement for the damage I was ignored and walked past for 30 minutes. Worse service ever. Dont go there.

Got hit with minor body work on my Mazda 3 before I renewed my registration. As soon as I got the vehicle back I went to this neighborhood place that I used to love. They told me that I needed to drive it 150 miles first. I expressed concern that I would get a ticket. They gave me a clear message they didn’t care and had to get to other customers. BTW I had forgotten that I was turned down for inspection before at this location for fishy reasons like windshield dings and wipers. Oh and they charge to air up tires even if they do other stuff. Unfortunately money is the only priority here.

Oil change was fine but they have birds in cages mounted to the wall in the service bay in terrible, tiny cages. It was very upsetting to see, when I asked about the birds, the guy said they belong to the owner. I hope he will see this and invest in some humanely sized bird cages or rehome the birds.

Nice guy, the manager (I think, he wasnt wearing any coveralls, bright Polo shirt). Anyways, he let me sit in my vehicle didnt have to move. Got my inspection done in 10 minutes.

This place is shady ... These guys steal from the car and, as indicated in previous reviews, break parts and cause damage to cars. When asked about it, they simply ignore you as if you are not even standing there. Again, check other reviews, I am not the only one. I cannot wait for someone else to open a legit business there because location is convenient to many - including myself.

Seems to be an alright place.As long as you know exactly what you want or need. Of course they tried to sell me wipers I did not need. And a service that my vehicle does not even require. Ball joint grease. Yea back in the 70s and 80s. Also beware of a $2.50 oil top off fee. .All in all a little pushy on trying to up sale you. The service was fast and reasonable.

They say its open until 6, Its 4:50 and they are already drinking and not paying attention. I wasted my time and gas

Yesterday, 6/19/23 I took my car in to get an oil change and it took them awhile to do it. When ringing me up the manager says that my oil pan is cracked and will need to be fixed. He charged me for the oil change and I left. I started my car this morning 6/20/23 and the oil light is on and no oil in my car, all the oil in the driveway. There has not been any oil in anywhere I have parked. Why change the oil if the oil pan was cracked, why not tell me this before changing the oil. I will never use their services .

Please look at these pictures before you move here!! Roaches roaches !! Raccoons, trash bad managements . Do not move here. I only lasted barely a year!! I hate it soooo much

Been coming to this place for over a decade but they just lost a customer. Got here at 8:10am and waited patiently for an oil change. At 8:35am, another car pulled up and was serviced before I was. I asked how long it will be before I was serviced and was told another 10 minutes. I think not. I explained I had already been waiting and he insisted on me waiting another 10 minutes. I will never return to this location.

Second year going to this place, my hubby is usually the one who visits this place. I had to go this time around tho, to take his truck after they did an oil change on both his truck and mine. But his truck was leaking pretty bad that day after. We let them know and right away told us theyd take care of it, took it and they got down to the problem of what it was pretty quick. I dont know much about pricing but their service is pretty good. Theyre really nice and super fast. I hate going to shops like these since Im a girl, but they were really nice, I wouldnt mind going back.

Ive been going here for nearly 4 years for regular oil changes and recommend their services. Once I was in there and listened to a mechanic explain to a customer how her cars air intake worked and thought it sounded legit, plus the garage is clean and waiting area; comfortable.Will return.

I have been going here for years and NEVER used synthetic oil. Just regular oil! Today when I paid I thought it was unusually high. I got home and looked at my bill and was charged for synthetic oil change, this is after my husband was there on Saturday and was charged a grease job that he never agreed to doing! What’s going on! I’ll be going back tomorrow for an adjustment on my bill!Christy James

Recently moved into the area. First time visiting 10 Minute Oil Change on Ferguson. The price couldnt be beat. Friendly and fast service. They notice my break fluid was low, so they looked at my break pads. Told me the rear breaks were fine, but I should have the fronts done within 2-3 months. No pressure to get them done there, just good and friendly info. I will go there to get them done in a few months. And will definitely go back for my oil changes.

I was so disappointed today. I have been bringing my two vehicles in for the last three or four years to have my oil changed. Now it would have been 3 vehicles with my new wife. Supposedly they close at 6. I arrived at approximately 5:47 and they would not change my oil. Im not sure Ill ever come back here again, as I do have other alternatives to get my oil changed. I know the owner probably recognized me and I was surprised that he couldnt squeeze me in. Not good old and loyal customer service. I hereby retract my criticism. I went in and Sam took care of me personally. They won me back!! Thanks!!

Do not come here thay charge you for an oil change but they dont change your oil filter.

I have been coming to this location for years now! The customer service is always great, the prices are reasonable and the timing is usually pretty fast. I come for an oil change and they check and fill most car fluids , check your brakes ALL with a basic oil change 👌

I normally dont do reviews but after this experience I had to in order to prevent this to happen to someone else they claimed my oil pan was cracked told me I needed it fixed changed my oil and by the time I got home all the oil came out of my oil pan couldnt go to work today and I been going there at that shop for a while now .the car oil pan didnt have any leaks prior .....the right thing to do was not charge me to change my oil knowing that they broke my oil pan extremely disappointed....be careful or take your business elsewhere especially if youre a woman

First off. One of the techs is very RUDE. Walks around eating half the time instead of being at work on point. Thinks he owns the shop.They get upset at you for not over paying for a air filter or cabin filter. Guess it cuts into there commission. They unscrewed the undercarriage of my vehicle. Very unprofessional aaasssseeess. Wont be coming back. Rather pay extra.

My grandmother use to take her car here and they saved her so much money on repairs. Nissan would have charged her $150 each time it goes on the machine. Oh, I love his birds in the cages. I should have gotten the owners name so I could give him a shout out. Thanks 😊😁

I had an oil change done. They ended up charging me for something else as well. That I did not ask for. The employees didnt ask me or say anything about it. Ended up paying over $75.00 for a simple oil change and they changed me a grease job. I dont even know what that is.

These guys do not change the oil. Check before you leave. Office tried to tell me my engine was dirty. I said dude. I’ve changed my car oil hundreds of times. This was not changed. My wife took her car after I told her not too. Check engine light came on. She had work done at the dealership aside from that. And the error code was oil consistency. They said the oil was old and thick. This place is horrible.

I recently got a synthetic oil change here, when I got home I noticed the plastic cover under my car was dragging. A friend of mine fixed it for me and told me there was no screws on it. They did my oil change and didn’t put my screws back. I will never return, shows how lazy the staff is here.

Always bring my cars up here, won’t return this time. Left my vehicle with them at 1pm yesterday only for them to call me at 10am and say they won’t be able to get to it today because they’re closing early. Waste of my time and I stay 45 minutes away. I could have drove my car back home instead of taking a lyft and also could have found someone else to repair my vehicle.

Great customer service very friendly people and super fast to get your oil change. I took my brand new car here to get the oil change don’t let them dealer service centers take your money! Also please go to the back don’t pull up to the front.

This place is great for getting straight to the point. They treat women nice and respectful and never over price them on services or parts..that is why I refer all my female co workers from my school to them. They arent the best at customer service but the rest makes up for the 15-20mins stay.

I have been going to this place for years for inspection of both my cars and oil change. I came in for an oil change today and decided to watch the guys work on my car. I saw the technician attempt to remove the cap from my oil filter. He tried with one wrench couldnt get the cap off then went and got another wrench and couldnt get it off so he just put the plastic cover back on and moved on to putting oil in my car. After he filled the oil I saw him looking around for something and heard him ask another technician where the oil cap was. He then went and found a random oil cap and put it on my Jeep. I asked him where is my cap and why did you put this cap that doesnt belong to my car on it and he said I dont know your cap was missing. I told him no sir my cap was not missing I watched you take my cap off to fill the oil. Then he said I dont know it must have fallen somewhere. I asked to speak with someone who speaks better English and he brings over another technician. I tell the technician that he lost my oil cap and that he didnt change my oil filter. The tech that speaks better English told him she said you didnt change the oil filter and the guy lied and said that he did. I then told the English speaking tech that he couldnt get the cap off so how could he change the filter? So I said okay if you changed the filter show me the one you removed. He proceeded to dig through the trash and found a filter at the very bottom of the very full trash can. I said thats not my filter if it were my filter it would be at the very top of the full trash can. I then said okay I want you to show me the brand new filter you supposedly put on my Jeep. He removes the plastic cover and tries again to remove the cap from the oil filter then says it wouldnt come off and I said I know I saw you try to take it off but you didnt. So how did you change the filter if you couldnt get the cap off? I said you didnt change it did you? And he admitted that he didnt change the filter. I said so you lied and he said yes I lied. They offered to no charge my oil change but I said no Im paying for my oil however Im not paying for the oil cap that you lost and you need to pay for the oil filter cap and change the filter when the parts come in. They asked me to come back on Wednesday. When I returned home to Forney. Yeah I moved from Dallas and was a loyal customer so I continued to drive to Dallas for them to service my cars. Anyways when I returned home my husband went out side to check the oil cap they put on and guess what? It doesnt even screw in. Its basically just sitting on top and not secure at all. So now Ill have to drive to Dallas to get the oil cap then put it on the Jeep the drive back to the oil place so that they can change the oil filer. Im not driving the Jeep with the oil cap they put on that is not secure at all. Very disappointed! I trusted them!

I use to go to Walmart and it would take an hour for my oil change. These guys were soo fast literally took them 10 mins for air filter & oil change. Definitely coming back. :)

10 minute oil change was great really helpful its the only place I take my truck my car to get it worked on for oil changes so forth so forth

It was good place 2 years ago,but now I think they changed an owner,because there are a different people work there and different service - very unfriendly.

I do not recommend this place! They overfilled my car with almost 2 quarts more than it should have been!!! Not good for the engine & luckily I caught it - had to go back next day to have them drain it out to make it right. Also had them check the antifreeze & told me it needed replaced - didnt trust that & went next morning to my mechanic & he said it was just fine. Really???

These people said they changed my oil and didn’t and still charged me!! Not once but twice!! They pay people to do “good” reviews for them!! They’re the worst please be careful

Ive lived in the area for 5 years, I needed an inspection and oil change along with tire pressure check. I normally use KK but wanted to expand my business as I drive past this place often (my pharmacy is nearby). I followed the signs and saw one tech who made eye contact but proceeded to check his phone walk away and make a phone call. I waited long enough for another car to pull up behind me but reverse and left. I waited a total of 5 min and saw no other techs except the one on the phone. I drove around the building towards the front against the arrows back to Ferguson Rd., and left and dont plan to come back. First impressions matter.

It did take only 10 minutes. They use bulk oil in a pump and do not measure it in a container/jug before filling the oil. Mine was overfilled.

Went in for an oil change and was giving great info regarding what did and didnt take place with my last oil change, the other place used the wrong oil for my car and over charged me... here customer service was great and most of all the restroom was very clean, will come back

Bait and switch, sign says $39.95 full serviceSynthetic oil change. Took my diesel pick-up in expected it to cost more since it takes 10 qts, but not synthetic. Was quoted $ 95.00 so twice as much for 5 qts more oil nonsynthetic.I ask why so high was told diesels cost more it takes 10 qts which I already knew but $ 55.00 more. Needless to say I got out of there but be warned.

I’m from New York and we don’t have a lot of good mechanics I moved to Dallas 2018 and let me tell you this place has it all from oil changes high-volume high miles to brakes tires the best prices and the cheapest around for the quality that they do is 100% great I’ve been coming here for three years and planning as long as I’m in Dallas this is my place that I will go to all the time highly recommend it ask for Waseem or any of the guys will definitely take care of you

I agreed to buy the cabin filter only to find the cover broken and in the floor of my truck. When I investigated further I find that he didn’t even use the correct size filter and had just stuffed one into place.

I went less than a month ago and told them I needed fluids checked, oil changed and filters changed because I was selling my car to my niece. They told me it as all taken care of. Few days ago, oil starts leaking. My brother checked and the oil was never changed it looked like black tar and the filter never replaced.

Do not absolutely do not go to this place for an oil change Shade tree mechanics they recycled my filter for my Mercedes Benz I went back to confront them and all the mechanics laughed... If you do get in oil change monitor them demand to see the old one and the new one..

It was ok but took longer than 10 minutes. One lady came in after me and left before I did.

They gave me a oil change next day my car started running hot saying I wasnt letting it warm up. I know several other people complain about something with there vehicle.

Broke the bottom of my cars covering so it fell off while driving. Check engine light came on a day after I left. I wouldve taken it back and made them look but just decided to take the loss and go somewhere else.

Wont be going back there ever again they do not change oil filters had to go back twice because of that.They charge $72 for and oil change and they dont change the oil filter Ipay for a full synthetic now Im wondering if they are using full synthetic or regular oil and charging for full, this place is a rip off never going back there again.

Worst service,I took my car for an oil change and the mechanics did not even know what kind of oil my car used is supposed to be a professional place, and they should know which type of oil they use, and they asked me if I knew what oil I used, I do not take my car back to a place so unprofessional that I can not trust

They didnt know how to reset my maintenance code BUT they were really nice and did good (as far as I can tell for now...lol)
