I love this bank. I never have any issues. The tellers are always polite, professional, and informative. I came in because I lost my wallet and had money orders that were filled out to a company that wouldn’t take them.. Shaniya helped me get a new debit card and deposit the money orders that were giving me a pain in my butt. So much stress is relieved and I thought I would be turned around due to annoying “policies”. But now everything is fine due to the help I received. Great job Shaniya and the entire Navy Federal team!! You are appreciated

The service at this location is seriously lacking. The tellers are often rude, and there’s no greeting or acknowledgment when you walk in. We were directed to stand in line for a teller to finalize an auto loan, only for the teller to reprimand us for not going to a banker instead. The process here is completely disorganized. How can you have such a small team, yet no one seems to communicate or know what’s going on? As the face of customer service, handling important aspects of people’s lives, you should be providing far better service. If you don’t want to interact with people, maybe consider working in a call center instead.

The customer service lady I spoke with today in the counter was beyond rude, impatient, and acted as though I was wasting her time. I did not expect this level of unhelpful customer service. The negative comments below further echo my concerns.

It was 10/11/24 @ 11:45 and I walked . The greeter was looking down at her phone texting away. She didnt even notice me until I passed her.She said Welcome in a way were she wanted to get it out of the way so she can get back to her texting. I am a mystery shopper but I didnt mystery shop this store today. She is the face of this very very prestigious bank. Its a very poor representation of what the bank embodies. I can see that activity at a bank that people have to settle for because they cant go with a mainstream bank like Woodforest Bank and 1st Convenience Bank. They she started laughing about it like it was not a big deal.

First time going to a Navy Federal Local Branch and I will never visit this branch again! Chrissy was HORRIBLE she treated me as if I was bothering her absolutely no customer service and the Branch manager seemed to not care when I expressed my thoughts. Customer Service is like pulling teeth now.

Amanda Jennings is terrible at customer service. I have been in this location many times and she avoids customers like the plague. I sat with her in her office for 30 minutes and it was like pulling teeth for her to help me help my son who’s on deployment right now.As soon as the lobby gets busy, she runs in the back

ATM ain’t worth a DAMN. Took all of my cash and then told me it was no longer accepting cash deposits despite starting the process. This location is closest to me but frequently out of service. I shouldn’t have to drive 30 minutes further just to make a deposit….

The bank teller who assisted me was very kind! She was extremely efficient and very quick, and I really appreciated her help in withdrawing the money that I needed. I also let her know that I needed bank statements and she let me know that she would put me in the queue, but I have to wait for, someone who works in one of the offices to help me. When I was called, I let the person know the woman who helped me know that I needed specifics statements for one of the specific accounts that I had with them. I said I needed them for the last 12 months and she told me in a very Kurt fashion that it would take her a long time to get that. And so I asked long time as in it’s gonna take you 40 minutes? And she said no I’m just gonna have to print each one off. I don’t care if people are Kurt as long as they’re professional, but when she finally printed off the last 12 months of my bank statements, I looked at them quickly and realized that she did not print off the bank account that I needed. I told her at the beginning of our conversation that I needed an account and I gave her the account number And then after making me wait and making it seem like I was making her jump through hoops she said oh well I can’t print those out for you because it needs to be the primary cardholder to print them out. So she wasted my time even though I gave her all the information she needed to tell me at the very beginning of our conversation that hey, I can’t print that out for you because you’re not the primary cardholder. But instead of doing her job Correctly, she wasted my time and didn’t do what I needed her to do. Which would’ve been fine if she had told me that to begin with, but I don’t appreciate my time being wasted she seemed incompetent and like she was just trying to get me out the door and like she was trying to do as little work as possible.

As a 22 year member of Navy Federal and owning 3 companies who all bank here, I have literally done Millions of dollars of business here. For some reason NFCU decided to risk it all over $1,400. They raised our interest rate on a car loan to 16% without notifying us of an error with our title paperwork (an error from the dealership). When we contacted NFCU they gave us 90 days to fix it - it took the State of Texas 91 days to mail them the new title. The jerk middle manager that we dealt with freely admitted that we did nothing wrong, nor could we have done anything different and was unwilling to escalate our problem to another level. And yet he is willing to lose our lifelong business over 1 day. I’m truly saddened to see how far this company has fallen. This used to be a company that took care of their members.

Front desk representative pointed me to the next open desk. There was no one in line. She asked me to go through the line and wait. I took a step back quietly and she continued to ask me to walk through the empty line Stanchion. The next empty teller helped with no problem. I have had navy federal for awhile and it’s been a struggle but the most recent thing has burnt me up inside. I have a pending charge on my account that the company says they do not have any recollection of. I have called navy federal twice and both times I am told that there is nothing they can do at this point. My money is just being held and I can’t get support about it. I’ve been told wait 1-3 business days and now it’s going on 5. When I called the guy basically said. Yeah……. That’s a good sign but essentially told me to keep waiting. I do not want to wait for my money!!!!

A great credit union to join if youre able to, theyre always very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to work with you. If youre looking to buy a home their mortgage department is fantastic. Always use a credit union over a traditional bank.

By far the worst bank I’ve ever used. The ATM at this location, which is the only location close, is rarely taking cash deposits, but their funds availability policy for mobile check deposits is laughable. So if you have cash to put in and you work during the day, you’re completely out of luck unless you want to drive to a different city.

ATM is always broken. No deposits. So you have to make sure to get there during business hours. Which is super difficult If your jobs business hours are during the banks. They close very early at this location. Im used to navy fed closing at 6:30 or 7 because military are still doing final formations at 5pm. I guess bc they arent close to a base hours are early.. makes it difficult for working people to get in though. Id love if the ATM worked properly for people like me who struggle to make it during business hours because of work

Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. I applied for an auto loan. I was approved, but at a rate 1.5% higher than what they were advertising. When I asked why that was, no one could give me an answer. She just kept saying that it is based on credit and debt-to-income. I work in lending and have perfect credit and an extremely low DTI. I asked her who I could speak to that could help me and she said no one. I called back 10 days later and got the same answers.I then asked what I need to do to move forward. She said I had to re-apply, even though I just applied 10 days ago. I asked her if they were going to re-pull my credit and she said we cant tell you that, but they will if they need to and they do re-pull within 30 days sometimes. So, again, I asked who I could speak to and got the same answer. I asked to speak to a supervisor who then said I am not allowed to speak to anyone regarding my credit score, debt-to-income ratio and he couldnt say if they would pull my credit again. I would just have apply and find out.They literally have people answering the phone who know nothing and can tell you exactly that much. You are not allowed to speak to anyone who knows anything regarding the loan.

Navy Federal is THE BEST! What can I say. I mean, I do wish they had a drive-thru ATM at this location, and it was broken upon arrival, but it wasn’t that hard to go inside! And the teller was patient cause I had a few inquiries. I also wish they had more locations but their customer service is always A1.

No one will take any responsibility for funds withheld over 10 months. They feel like they just get to keep it forever. A young man in security told me he was the definitive answer and that there was no one over his head. This was not the case, of course. People like him destroy the reputation of an otherwise good company.

ATM need slot card to access & an encasement for safety. The distance to park your car get to the ATM is not secure. NFCU makes so much money from members should able to provide safe access to ATM not exposure like this. Only matter of time, someone will get robbed or killed in robbery because this is not so safe neighborhood. Nail salon just around the corner got broke in & robbed the same week it open from the beginning. People been killed and got shot even pregnant woman in very recent days. Slot card access with encasement is right approach for safety in this area.

I like Navy Federal, but I HATE going to this ATM. It is out in the open, and it processes your deposits SO SLOWLY, that you feel vulnerable to the elements if you know what I mean. It’s best to just go during business hours, or to another location with a drive-up ATM.

They wouldn’t accept my Identification speaking on security features when the state issued my identification.But I was able to get a diff form and they accepted thatI don’t get how the state issued both but only 1 met the requirements. That was a bogus lie and I will not return to this branch

I wish there was a closer one so I didn’t have to go to this one. They don’t ever have answers for my questions about the products and services provided by Navy Federal, and I feel rushed and unwelcome each time I have to stop in. When I ask a question, it’s always “I don’t know” or “you can call and figure it out.”Such a frustrating experience each time I’ve had to go in. I can’t wait to move and not have to deal with this location.

Before signing a check, was told a 2 day hold by phone and by branch, called I. 2 days to check the hold up and then told 5 days and there’s nothing that can be done about it. Not even able to void the check.
