On the first call to my local branch the answering robot hung up on me. On the second call I was transferred to the“proper department“ . Then that department had to transfer me to the “proper department“. Then that department said that they were a national service and could not schedule an appointment so they gave me the number for my local branch. I called it and guess what… It was another national call center. after a 20 minute wait, they finally connected me to my local branch and schedule an appointment.
Worse place to keep your money!!! Can’t even use my money, log into my app or anything. Been on the phone over 5 hours and they fix the problem then a couple hours it happens again.
I created a Fidelity account because it sounded like they were the company to go with. In short it sounded like they were investing done right. Fast forward a few weeks and Fidelity decided they would lock my account because my investing in real estate did not count as investing in their mind. I have now been working on getting my money back for the past 3 weeks as they keep making different excuses for why they cannot return it. They are now telling be they have locked my account and I have to send them some different documents for them to send me my money. Because they locked my account I cannot submit my Documents online and they keep telling me my ID will not fax through clearly. I am glad they want my documents, but I have an issue with any company that needs no personal info to set up an account but then needs a bunch of info for me to get my money back.
Was told I couldn’t remove my name from the junk mail they send me without giving up my social and other info. So they deserve a 1 star, for sending mail that nobody asks for.
The representative was really professional
Have had a retirement account with Fidelity for 30 years. I’ve always had good service without investment advice from Fidelity however this company has changed. I have tried to open up three accounts for my daughters and move annuities from another location. I like other people who has previously given bad reviews have had a terrible experience. It has been three months I’ve spoken to two different advisers one who I’ve been working with for 30 years and they keep making excuses about why the transfer has not occurred. I’ve elevated my complaints to the branch manager I was told I would receive a phone call that day from the manager. This morning no received phone call. Have very low expectations when dealing with fidelity.
I went to the Fidelity office on Northwest Highway to execute a simple Transfer of Assets form that was signed and carried the medallion signature from Charles Schwab. I met with a woman at Fidelity who I thought would take care of the transfer. She focused on her computer tablet and I assume pulled up my accounts and I gave her the forms that Fidelity gave me to execute the transfer. I asked her if I needed to sign anything and she said she did not think so, but nonetheless she said that she would check with the back office. She returned a few minutes later and said no signature was necessary and I was good to go. Three days later, Dennis Cottingham calls me at work and says there is a problem with the transfer. The TOA form was not signed! (by me). WHAT? Isnt this the question that I asked the woman who told me I was good to go? This is a simple asset transfer of funds from one brokerage to another. I am now delayed three days from getting this transaction started and I still dont have the form that Dennis was supposed to send me yesterday. I have lost all confidence with Fidelity and will be looking at a more competent brokerage firm to house my securities.
I opened an account here looking to build my business relationship with fidelity, I met with a young guy named Patrick Cruz. He was uninformative and made business very tough for me do business and as a result of not speaking with me first my accounts were closed. He did not seek to understand how I do business and did very unscrupulous things that cost me a lot of money and time with a current client. I would not recommend Patrick or this branch if you are looking to enhance your investment.
Patrick was very helpful and quick! I appreciated his attention to detail, thorough explanations and kind manner. He made me feel confident in my investments and trusting of his opinion.
The customer service is great here. The team was polite and helpful. The aesthetic and the ambiance of the office is nice too!
