I had to get a new debit card so i Got there and I check in and another gentleman came and check in. Rep yesenia morales had a customer and that customer leaves then a customer walk in and waves hi then that customer goes by her offices and that customer ask she had some questions and yesenia morales told her to have seat. Knowing that me and a gentleman been waiting for awhile. Even the lady that greets people in said that she needed to check in like everyone else. Thats not kool and thats not good customer service by bypassing people that been waiting. I hope management speaks to her as well.
I have had a fantastic experience with Isabel Gutierrez. She helped me with my accounts and gave me valuable information, which I do appreciate. She wears a smile which is very helpful. I always feel welcome when I approach her and leave her. She is a GREAT young lady.

The tellers are described as being rude and unhelpful, and the person responsible for opening the door was reportedly sitting down and did not provide an explanation for the non-functioning change machine. Additionally, the drive-thru ATM is said to be unreliable, and the dimly lit drive-thru area is seen as a potential security risk.While the coffee and water at this location are appreciated, the overall atmosphere and experience seem to be lacking. I made an appointment online and was assigned to Evelyn Garcia, but when I got there I was informed that she longer worked at that branch, so I had to wait and that was exactly what I was trying to avoid, I was unhappy. But then Leticia Jaramillo worked with me, explained me that they had gone through many changes recently and that she would tell her boss about this. Leticia answered all my questions patiently and with a smile on her face. She also told me that she was learning and asked her boss about something she wasn’t sure about, and it made me feel that she was truly invested on helping me. I don’t know about the rest of the staff but Leticia is awesome, she should get a raise.
I have been a member for a long time when it was Dallas Teachers Credit Union. Now that I do business with Credit Union of Texas I am very happy to say thanks to the tellers whom have helped me. They all are friendly and caring. Including the lady who greets us at the door with an awesome hello. I’m very happy to go to the Credit Union and I can bet Ms. Rudy and Ms. Sandra will welcome me with a warm friendly greeting! That makes us feel appreciated it. Worst banking experience ever. I had the pleasure of paying $10 a month for them to give my childs savings account to the state of Texas with no notification. Dont trust this bank to hold your money, they wont do it. They just leach fees and steal your wealth.Update:I got a call from the bank, and they continued to insist that I was notified, but offered no evidence that this was the case. I log on the web page all the time and the account just disappeared one day. I will be closing all of my accounts with them this week and I suggest you all do the same!1 more thing, they have been using unlicensed copies of Microsoft Windows on their ATMs. I expect more from a bank than to STEAL software.

This review is about the corporate system. I am trying to speak with a teller. It keeps looping me back around. 1. Press to speak with teller, 2. Please enter member ID, 3. Enter pin. It doesnt recognize my old pin, because I no longer had a checking. If I did, I would have selected the debit card option. Machine then stages, pease hold while we connect your call. Then it simply repeat loops perpetually, never even putting me on hold for the representatives. The corporate office seems to be doing their best to avoid speaking to their clients.
I logged in Yesterday 9-23-2021 , seems I had difficulty uploading my ID . So I chose to go in person, I am not that guy I dislike to leave work to do personal errands. I did , I was greeted at the door then sent into an office where I met a Abraham , Very nice young man. he took care of my errors from yesterday , not only did I like that attention , I went ahead and opened an account with him and transferred an account from another back to CREDIT UNION OF TEXAS . Not till I got to my office am I reading the reviews, a lot of negative ones , but so far my experience was good and the service was good. I hope it continues to continue this way. I am one to update my reviews later. So that being said, I will be back in around 90 days with any positive or negative updates.. so far they have my 5 star review. This is a very wonderful credit union. My family has been using this location for the past 10+ years and we have not ever had any issues. When you walk in the location seems very modern and up to date. I love the fact that they have a coin counting machine on site and they always have enough tellers or bankers to help with what you need. If you are looking for a credit union this is the one for you!

I am very disappointed with this credit union. Years ago the credit union was the best place to help you when your local bank wouldnt. I have been a member of this credit union for many years and I would expect them to be loyal to me when I needed anything. The representative that helped me was extremely nice, but unfortunately she is not the underwriters that make the decision to help when you need a loan, credit card etc. The underwriters are not helpful and do not care about helping. This is my last time trying to get anything from this credit union.

I opened a checking account with Credit Union.. all because of the treatment received and so I can pay my loan easily.
Awful bank. I can’t tell if the staff is rude or if they are just stupid, maybe both. But I refuse to interact with these idiots and they definitely aren’t holding my money. Why I left: They don’t allow transactions over $2,500. Really weird to have someone tell me I can’t spend my own money. After I closed my account and went to another bank: I am getting letters from them saying that my account has a negative balance and it may hurt my credit. I’ve went in there twice and they still haven’t fixed the problem. These people are complete idiots.

Refinancing a vehicle has been an absolutely horrible experience! Customer service has been a nightmare! Aracely Gomez and loan team #5 don’t return calls or Emails. I’ve been leaving voice mails and emails time after time for weeks now. I can’t wait for the process to be over!!! I should’ve asked for Terrance Campbell from Team #1, who helped my brother in law and had an excellent experience.

Reported a fraud transaction after I didnt get my portfolio on investment. The fraud department guy immediately put me on a ban from using my debt card. When I explained they didnt care.
Im taking my 5 stars off thanks to branch manager Erik Henrry for his bad costomer service and discriminated actitude to Hispanic people and not knowing what Ids to take to open Acc.ofter one hispanic banker told him he was wrong!!!! I was able to add someone to the acc.this branch need to all get on the same page.
I went in spoke with a teller idk his name but he was a black male lil afro I had questions about a pending transactions and why my funds not available in my checking they transfer from my savings he was rude had a attitude if the app updating thats not my problem when I know how much I should have in my account on top of that my balance says 0 and if I use my card it will be a negative balance he didnt try to resolve the issue or make me feel at ease not all are bad but he make me want to close my account and not have any dealings at all!!
I refinanced with credit union of Texas. Someone signed a check rather than stamping it which cost me many days of efforts and difficulty. On top of that, they have sold my mortgage to another company and dont seem to have any record of what company that is. I have spent the better part of a day on hold calling the different mortgage lenders who supposedly hold my loan, only to hear that they have no record of my loan. I hate that the burden of this work has fallen on me. I feel that they need to figure this out and get back to me rather than it being the other way around. Very unprofessional and frustrating.

They took almost 6 months to get me back $100 bucks that someone else stole online back in Aug 16 2020. I closed my account today finally after being with them since 1997. Their customer service with fraudulent changes is ridiculous at best.You get what you pay for I guess.
Ive been banking with CUofTX for 20 years, going back to when they were Teachers Credit Union. In that time Ive had some frustrating experiences with them, but honestly isnt that true of any place anymore. Sad...but true. The issue I have is with the new Hampton location. Being located in a strip mall parking lot makes it a nightmare to get in and out of, not to mention almost getting t-boned every time you navigate through the busy, congested parking lot. I dont feel very safe either, as there are always parking lot lizards roaming around the location. It was much better at their old location. It was a dedicated building located where there where no panhandlers roaming around. Only people in the area where people there doing banking business. Dont really care too much for the new ITM system either. The tellers are nice, but it takes twice as long to complete a transaction, as you cant do cash deposits from the drive-thru anymore unless using ITM, and you have to scan your ID even after putting in your card. And if the wind blows, forget about communicating with the teller. I end up parking and going to the inside ATM...inconvenient. Location: FAIL ITMs: FAIL
