On time , they texted a photo, excellent communication, safe, honest, very knowledgeable, shared information and explanations. Reputable company, Steven was knowledgeable, polite, respectful and excellent tech the kind you want in your home. $99 service fee, quoted $405 + 24 volt transformer replacement and $395 per pound R22 charge.. a bit on the high side IMHO and on my fixed income and for this situation so i declined the repair because of my financial situation. Eastbound on-ramp. Hwy 820 at Main Street Saginaw. 732AM 9/18/24. I hope the driving I witnessed this morning is not a reflection of your work. Failing to yield. Failing to use turn signal while changing lanes, almost hitting the front of my vehicle. Changing lanes aggressively and abruptly. Speeding. All a recipe for disaster. Slow down. Bumper to bumper traffic and youre driving like youre on the Autobahn.

Miguel and Eric were the best people I have had come out and work on my unit! They explained everything to me and were very honest and down to earth. I never once felt uncomfortable having them in my home and enjoyed the conversations we had. They made sure everything was working before leaving and they cleaned everything up as well! All in all I was very satisfied with their work and would 100% ask for them again!

New A/C Install seemed to go okay but follow up actions to close everything out have been slow and with limited responsiveness. Still waiting for new thermostat installation, balance of air flow to each room, as well as some hardwood floor scratch repair needed.

Charles Moshier came to my home last summer and also the summer before to repair a 21 year old Carrier air conditioner. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and repair it. This past week Charles was very helpful with seeing if he could do some repairs to my 24 year old Carrier furnace in my attic. He almost immediately spotted the broken part, took a picture and put in an order for the replacement. When Charles came back a few days later with the complicated part, he worked for a few hours, trying to install it and finally called Carrier, who said that it was a similar part, but they no longer had the exact part for a 1999 furnace. I had told Charles that I am 82, living in a 1937 “tear down” house, and did not want to buy either a new air conditioner or a new furnace ; and Charles knowing this said he would try to modify the new part to fit in my 1999 furnace. I am sure Charles could have accomplished that because Charles is smart and determined, besides being friendly and kind!But all of a sudden it dawned on me, what’s going to break next, without a replacement part available ?I asked Charles if he could quickly arrange for me to have a new furnace installed “TOMORROW”; not believing that would be possible. But before Charles left my home, he had all the details worked out, and we agreed upon a very fair price. The next day, yesterday, my new updated furnace was installed, and it is working beautifully; thanks to the hard working, friendly, intelligent team of Eric & Diego (old house, tight spaces).I have been a loyal customer of Harland Johnson’s family run firm for 35 years. I have always been please with all the various employees over the years; Angie ( who keeps things running); especially with the oldest son, now retired, Lee Johnson; and recently, very pleased with Charles Moshier.

Harlen Johnson sent Chris out to see what was happening with our Carrier Infinity system and he diagnosed the problem the moment he found the huge block of ice on the inside coils. And our exterior compressor electrical switch had burned out! Scary situation, always happy to have a trustworthy technician like Chris.Just never ever let your painters ( or anyone else) cover up (or close) your ac supply vents while the system is running or you’ll have this very bad situation which could’ve potentially ruined our system, or caused a fire!

First class service provided today by Chris Gibson. He was very thorough, honest, and walked me through it all. His professionalism and expertise were evident as he patiently walked me through the diagnostics process, explaining every step and showing me how he troubleshoots the system. Unlike another company that suggested a costly replacement of our entire system, Steven identified the issue as a simple two-part replacement, saving us time and money. I scheduled a spring tune-up. Service tech Tyrese was very professional. Harlen Johnson provided the most thorough tune-up I have ever had. They really took their time and tested everything. Identifying parts that are near end of life, but don’t pressure you for anything unnecessary. They were also transparent on pricing. Recommend.

I have used Harlen Johnson HVAC for 30 years and they have always had great service and fair pricing. This service rep has worked on my system before and is always courteous and on time. He saw what was causing my issue immediately and came back the next day to make the minor repair. I drain pipe was getting condensation and needed to be insulated , minor issue that could have caused a big problem. I would highly recommend this company for any HVAC system issue.

Harlen Johnson installed our a/c systems several years ago. We do twice a year maintenance with them as well. Never had any problems with these systems and the technicians are always on time and do a great job.

As financially unpleasant as it is to have to purchase a new HVAC system, Harlen Johnson eased the pocketbook pain by providing speedy, thorough, and professional service. Cant trust these guys. They are ripped off. My A/C unit leaked out all refrigerant and not cooling my house. They recommended that I replace my whole A/C unit to fix the problem and cost is about $28,000 and if I want to recharge refrigerant only then it will cost $1700. I called another contractor and they only charged me $600 to recharge the refrigerant and said that if I want to fix the problem permanently then will need to replace the coil system and cost me $3500.If you dont want to be ripped off, dont call this contractor.

Seth did an excellent job of cleaning the dryer vent, explained what exactly he was doing and in the end everything was in great shape. He is a nice young man.

My AC stopped working and tech Steven Kotera quickly diagnosed that electricity wasn’t getting to the unit and a fuse had blown out and needed to be replaced by an electrician. He also followed up after the electrical repair to ensure the AC was working properly.

Jason Miles took great care of my rental property…I couldn’t be there the whole time, but he was on time, open, and honest about my problem. I thought I needed a new AC, but it turned out to be a smaller issue that he fixed for a lot less…these guys are great.

I got charged $267 for changing a Blower Capacitor in the morning and the in the evening my AC went out again so I was told to send a text if anything came up and after I was told to check some to if it was a breaker or something I didn’t receive any respond, then I called the office and was told by a lady that she was going to send the same again and he never got here or called. I wouldn’t mind but the fact that they on top off it lied that they would come is upsetting because another company that was not on my area recommended Harlen & Johnson to me and said they had never had complaints.

I have been using these folks for about 15 years for 2 different commercial buildings. They have done an excellent job. They give an honest assessment about any issues with AC/Heater units. They currently service the 18 units I have on my 40k square foot building. They recently replaced a 10 ton unit for me at a fair price.

Great company with an impressive track record. Has handled our personal property, rentals, and commercial building for 14+ years. Theyve handled small job for us of a 200 sq ft workshop to a 7000 sq ft warehouse. On time, work is done right the first time, and well priced.

A technician, Bob, came to my house two days ago to repair a problem with the indoor unit of my HVAC system. Bob was very courteous and polite, and he fixed the unit. He also took the time to explain how to read the blinking code which tells you the source of the problem. He finished within an hour and the cost was the most reasonable of any HVAC company I have dealt with.

Steven went above and beyond to diagnose issues with our AC system and developed a plan to resolve any issues we might have. Thank you!

Technician came by and in 20 minutes told compressor was bad needed to replace whole unit and probably best to replace furnace as well($13000+)109 outside what are you going to do had another technician come by next from North Dallad AC and he spent same 20 minutes replaced a $75 part and AC up and running.
