The service team was awesome, very responsive and respectful. They arrived and immediately went to replacing our two (2) water heaters which were upstairs in the attic. The two service technicians came in and explained what they were here to install and got to work immediately. I am grateful that this company used quality professional equipment and provides excellent customer service support. I would and will recommend Frymire and Strittmatter to our neighbors, family and friends…

First plumber and apprentice were knowledgeable and friendly. Second plumber did reroute. He returned a second time to repair cross connection. Now, returning for the third time to run it properly and neatly. It certainly exceeded my expectations, not in a positive manner. All were extremely friendly. It was unfortunate that it took 3 visits to correct slab leak .

The technician today, did fine. But he discovered that my 12k job water heater installation that they did was done wrong from the beginning. I have had multiple service appts because of problems and now I find out it wasnt even set up for the proper fuel type (propane). The components of my system still dont work. I had to have these people repair a wall they sawed clear through and I had to have roofers repair damage they did to my roof, causing multiple leaks and more water damage. Now I find out the tankless heater itself was installed incorrectly. I feel bad for this technician today because he was very nice, but steer clear of this company. Ive spent so much money on plumbing with them on this and other jobs and theyve botched everything over and over. NOT RECOMMENDED

Patrick did an outstanding job. Extremely knowledgeable and committed to excellence. He provided a thorough explanation of what needed to be done and I feel he went the extra mile to provide repair excellence. He is a tremendous asset to his company I will contact Frymire for any of my HVAC needs and will request Patrick to perform the service.

Jacob Owen’s is the man. He serviced our AC unit which was built in 2009. Very friendly and educational. The next day (Super Bowl Sunday) we had another issue with water leaking out under the AC unit. I thought the issue was related to the work he had done. He came out on a Sunday to check it out. It was completely unrelated and had to do with a plumbing issue connected to our washing machine. He helped us resolve that issue as well and now we need a plumber. But I’m so glad we were in good hands for both issues and over the weekend too! Highly recommend Frymire to anybody looking for a company they can trust and Jacob if you can get him.

I could not have asked for a better experience. Patrick was very kind, respectful, and really showed patience as he answered all of my questions. I really liked that I didn’t feel pressured into doing more than what I had to do. While I decided to opt for more, I did so as a risk based decision for the longevity of my HVAC, not because I felt like I had to. As a first time homeowner, I didn’t know what to expect but I now that I have used this company, I won’t be looking for others and will highly recommend them to friends.

Adrian and his Frymire team installed my new HVAC system on the coldest day of the year. They were courteous and professional, and exceeded my expectations. I am a long time customer of Frymire and they continue to offer outstanding service.Also shout out to Chris who was the service rep and did a great job putting everything together on a moments notice. He worked through the weekend to arrange the crew and equipment for a Monday installation.

Gilbert was easy to talk to, and he quickly identified the problem and also found some other parts that he recommended for replacement. No pressure from Gilbert. Patrick did a wonderful job today on the service call for my mother’s system. I really want to recognize his generosity and kindness with my mother. He went above and beyond the call of duty because he took the time to help her bring in her grocery delivery that was left on her doorstep. He did not have to show her this kindness, but it shows a servant heart and my sister and I are very grateful.

I am extremely disappointed with the service we received. After a small flood in our home, Frymire was hired to reconnect our toilets and sinks. However, they failed to connect the sink in my laundry room, which was included in the order. They also left missing caps, removed doors without replacing them, and there was sticky residue leaking from the toilet, which seemed like leftover material from the old seal. It has taken four days to get someone to come back. I requested a different plumber, we now have to wait for a different time slot, and I was asked to be patient. Ive had to take a full day off work. The customer service has been appalling, and I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Dave was very helpful and polite he made sure that my system will be fixed properly tomorrow when he get the parts.As a continuation of Dave service from yesterday. He came back this morning and he fixed the problems on the water softener. He replaced the pipes and arranged what it needs to do to prevent from bursting or leaking again. I like the way he works and he really know how to do his job. So a 5 or 10 stars for Dave Patchell. He’s great and a wonderful person.

Top notch service - Both the appointment process, and follow-up notifications of technician arrival/delay, being kept in the loop, etc..were all awesome). Brandon was very friendly and professional. I definitely recommend them and I wont hesitate to call on them again for future HVAC/Plumbing needs.

Brandon W came out when scheduled; he has been here before, doing other tasks (plumbing), which is why I requested him. I needed to have some gas lines checked.I received a text update of when he was on the way. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He patiently answered what I am sure were semi-dumb questions about the gas lines. Pleased all the way around!

Dustin is a very good tech. He’s very friendly. He’s very helpful. He explains everything and he helps out the best he can. This is the second time I’ve had him to come to my house and I appreciate the work he does. I appreciate his honesty and I appreciate him trying to help me as my husband and I both are Elderly and we both have a lot of medical issues And he’s always been very helpful. Gilbert arrived promptly even though hed been given our account on short notice. He is friendly and provides easy to understand explanation of the systems condition what needs to be done right now and what may be able to be deferred a while. Hope we get him again.

Chance our technician did an excellent job of replacing our shower valve body in our 50 year old house. He cleaned up after the work was complete. A nice guy and very capable at his work.

Aaron was great! On time arrival, completed the inspection quickly and answered questions fully. He even remembered a previous issue we had with our air conditioner from months ago! Very satisfied.

I recommend! All of the sudden My furnace won’t work. Jhonnel arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He proceeded to explain it to my understanding and accomplish the repair right away. I have an annual maintenance plan with them and I got preferred service.

Dustin with Frymyre/Stritmatter plumbing was great! Came out on a Sunday when we were desperate. They did not over charge us since it was a weekend like other plumbers do, and was he was prompt, friendly and took the time to explain what was happening under our house and provided us options. Will definitely use them again!

Brandon arrived la te in 6he day but went hard to locate the short causining the failure. After checking it several times without luck, he located a shorted contractor. He had the parts and ended his day about 8pm. He is very knowledgeable, polite, and gave me all the options for the repair. Being a retired electronics technician, l really appreciate his information. Definitely willUse him and his company again.

Jay, the plumber that was sent to our house arrived on schedule time, assess the problem and proceeded to fix it. He was pleasant informative and did a great job and cleaned up beautifully after the job was done. Davod with Frymire was very courteous and communicative. He cleaned all of our ducts and plenums and did a great job keeping our spaces clean during the whole process. 10/10 service!

Mark is very knowledgeable, friendly, and explained all work that he completed and gave us some good safety and maintenance suggestions, like where carbon monoxide detectors needed to be placed, duct cleaning estimates, and other things. Davod was on time and performed a thorough inspection of our vents. He alerted us to an issue that needed to be repaired before a vent cleaning could be done. We really appreciate his honesty and attention to detail!

We had a slow drain in a bathroom vanity and the issue was definitely beyond the P traps. It was so easy to book an online appointment and the technician arrived within the time frame. Bryan with Frymire got our branch line to drain and we are so glad!! Very knowledgeable guy explained everything including suggesting updates with the water stops and water heater maintenance inspection. Definitely will use these guys again!

Chance was very knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. He quickly diagnosed and fixed our plumbing issue. They aren’t the cheapest around, but the service is high quality.

These guys have been working adamantly with me to get my system fixed. I’ve been having this problem for over a week. Aaron and Tim came out tonight. Performed some tests and altered my system. I appreciate their courtesy and professionalism but more than anything their dedication to fixing my systems problems. You don’t find customer service like this anymore. Chance was very professional. He quickly located the plumbing leak and fixed the problem. He cleaned everything up and kept me informed of the costs. The five stars are for Chance. The customer service rep who took my call was not so great. She spent more time trying to upsell services than taking my information. She said someone would call me back with a time for the repair and after four hours, I had to call back to see if I was scheduled. Upon the second call, the customer service rep had to take my information again which makes me wonder if the first rep had scheduled it. Had the first rep told me it would be seven hours before a plumber could arrive, I would have called someone else.

Eric was patient and and good natured. He gave us all of our options, and let us choose. At our request, he tried on 3 different faucets for us, with the third working! I would recommend to friends.

Brian was vey personable, great communicator . Polite and fixed my problem. He is a good plumber and representative. 5 stars for Brian. 2 stars for prices: Frymire/ Strittmatter’s pruces are very high. I had a pressure relief valve replaced. The part is listed online at $200-$300 with labor $209-$300 and on the itemized invoice I was charged over $700 for each of those items.Nan

I am so sorry I didnt get the names of the installers for the heating and air unit, or the water heater installer 😔. I can comment on their attention to detail and professionalism. I was truly pleased with the results and the patients they had with the questions and concerns I had. Job well done gentlemen. Thank you again. 🙂🙂

Brandon Watts of Frymire arrived promptly and quickly repaired a minor copper line leak in my older home. I then asked him to investigate a suspected restriction in the utility room wastewater line. Using advanced diagnostic tools, Brandon identified extensive damage to the under-slab wastewater system, necessitating major line replacements. The team completed the tunneling and plumbing efficiently within a few days.Brandon and his team delivered excellent service—prompt responses, seamless project coordination, professional expertise, quality materials, and rapid completion. However, I was frustrated by Frymires delay in providing a receipt for the significant payment made until weeks later Brandon personally intervened to resolve the issue.

My first call to Frymier was Lisa. Shecdummed upMy issue and promptly assured me Frymier would work me in today. Brandin and his partner were here in less than 45”. I was very appreciative! They went to work and in 15” they resolved the issue - a simple switching of wires and my heat was back to working.Brandon explained thoroughly and let me know it’s ok to call back if I have any questions or notice anything I might question. I call that quick and efficient Service!

Weve used Frymire for many years. Today was routine plumbing check day, and the service technicians were extremely helpful. Both were especially knowledgeable and friendly, and alerted us to some upcoming maintenance that we should seriously consider.

The one year ago install of an air handler was not perfect. Had to have them come back after initial install. But it was resolved.Just last week needed another repair to the original install that left us with less than 100% A/C. Diagnosed and repaired promptly.All that said. They are prompt, repaired and replaced as needed for no charge. Glad it broke at the same time we got a break in the heat here.Be careful with who you choose. Get someone local, and speak to the company directly -- not a dispatch company that just sends the next guy on the list.

Daniel did a great job detecting and analyzing the problem. Determined a sound course of action and system is good as new. Outstanding work and certainly appreciate him!

Mo came out earlier in the month to help us with a drain that wouldnt stay unclogged and discovered a low water pressure issue, as well. He was experienced, friendly and very helpful. We will do business with Strittmatter again.

Mo from Frymire came out to check for a leak we had behind a baseboard. He was thorough and showed everything needed to resolve the issue. They were professional and explained the costs and options clearly. Extra star for being a Star Wars fan.

Pros : They did give me good information and options for my issue though special shout out to Mo(the guy that showed), Edward(apprentice), and Chance(thats the guy they said was supposed to be here) love you guys.Cons : Told me one guy was coming and completely different person showed up so apologies to all technicians individually because they dont make the policy, but in order to establish that trust in a new customer relationship I would hope to see the person you told me you dispatched. If I was a vulnerable individual at home alone and I have no record of who was in my home I wouldnt feel necessarily safe and that safety could be easily remedied upon secondary dispatch. Also the technician was not listed on their official website when they asked me for a quality survey which led me here.

We always have a great experience with Strittmatter, and Aaron was no exception. Polite, courteous and work quickly and cleanly.

Chance at Frymire was amazing. Spectrum somehow bored through our sewer line, Chance got it fixed for us in one day, even going out of his way to find a back up dig crew to make it happen ASAP. Quick, friendly and professional. Overall amazing.

The technicians arrived according to the scheduled time period. My water heater and plumbing was inspected sooner than I expected. Then, Christian offered to insulate my outside water pipe to prevent it from freezing. I accepted his offer and insulation was installed. As a result of my overall experience, I am completely satisfied with their performance inside and outside my home today.

Vernon came out after 7:30 pm to fix a broken pipe. Was very personable and worked until it was finished so I could have water! Blew air out of pipes so I didn’t have all that air coming through all the house pipes. Was great!

Gilbert Magdaleno went above and beyond customer service when doing my furnace tune-up. Unbeknownst to me, Frymire had changed their policy regarding air filters no longer being provided for free on tuneups for their contractual customers. Gilbert wasnt told to bring air filters to my home to replace them. He had me call Strittmatters office in Denton. I spoke with Lisa and she got approval from her supervisor for me to tell Gilbert to go get the filters at their Denton supply office and to not charge me for the filters, which are quite expensive through their company. He was very helpful, polite, and thoroughly addressed the situation by going to get the filters and replacing them. He also explained the air filter differences (sizes, brands, etc.) and said I could find them at Lowes, Walmart, etc. for my next installation during the spring tune-up. I now know that I will have to provide the filters henceforth. I want to also thank Lisa for her assistance in the matter. Im a satisfied customer and appreciate Strittmatters handling of this situation.

Jamal was very thorough and found our ducts have no dampers recommended we add 4 manual ones to our HVAC unit, will do probably this spring.

Jonathon who is an AC technician did a thorough and educational job in inspecting our AC and water heaters. This was the first phase of our new Comfort Club membership. It could not have been better timed as one of the AC units had ice caked on the unit. We have also enacted his recommended schedule for filter replacements. There is one unit that we couldnt locate. This is a Fraternity House at UNT which includes twelve resident rooms which is more strenuous than a family home.He also called immediately for a plumber to be dispatched to resolve a leak causing water to drip through the ceiling to the main floor room. He was very thorough in explaining the necessity for routine filter replacements to our student leaders.

Mark is a excellent technician. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and made sure we were completely satisfied and had all of our question s answered before he left.

Work to replace my failed garbage disposal was well done and fast. Had a lot of family come in and it was essential that it was operational. Strittmatter was able to get me a technician out the very next day.

The nice lady answered the phone. And Brandon was here shortly. Fixed 3 leaks from the freeze & contacted Tony with DFW Restoration & he was here very fast toooo. I am very blessed & soooooo grateful.

Giovanni is such a great asset to Frymire. He’s been to my house a couple of times over the past few years and it is very obvious he’s well qualified. But he takes the time to really understand the issue, clearly explain the situation and offer up the best remedy. You can tell he’s a really good guy and really trustworthy. Any company would be well served to have a Giovanni on their team!

Took his time and made recommendations for our safety. Rudy is a great technician and knows his stuff around air conditioners and heaters.

Jay did a great job for us. He not only fixed the immediate problem of a cl9gged drain at the garbage disposal; he rerouted the pipes to prevent recurrence of the problem, explained the process, and cleaned up afterwards. He was GREAT!

Francisco was friendly, polite and professional. He performed a heating checkup. This was our first experience with Frymire and we signed up as customers.

Price was reasonable, and he came immediate. Fix the compressor on the AC unit and within moments, we had cold air running in our house again I appreciate service appreciate how quick you were to respond and look forward to doing business with you in the future, if anything happens.

We had them come out to do our hot water heater a couple of years ago and it went great.We had them out today due to ponding in and around our water meter. They said they were originally going to be here between 8 and 10. Then it went to 10 and 12. They got here around 2. Upon arrival, he noticed a piece of Quest plumbing pipe sitting outside of the meter. The city had come out to investigate the ponding and said it was our problem and they put a new meter in and I guess left the piping there.The meter housing was filled with water and the tech didnt even drain it to see if there was a leak. He immediately said that we needed to replace the entire line running from the meter to the house and add a shut off valve on the house to bring it up to code. Then he proceeded to give us our different pricing options saying multiple times the best option was to replace the entire line.I am going to be looking elsewhere due to the fact he didnt even get all of the water out of the housing to try to locate the leak before trying to upsell me. I even offered to let them use my shop vac to empty it.Edit: I had a friend come out and look at the problem today. We found the leak and it only cost us $5 to buy an O-Ring to fix it. Watch out for these guys...

Since my previous review (below), I have been in touch with Frymire who has made it a priority to correct any misgivings and miscommunications. I must say, that in spite of the sales guy, that they do have good staff members. If I had dealt with Omar from the beginning, this would be at least a 4 star review, instead of a 3 star review. (Ive now priced matched with other companies, and this was all lies) He even told me he would be their every step of the way, seeing my apprehension with spending this kind of money, when a traditional install would be more than half the cost.I HAVENT SEEN HIDE OR HAIR OF HIM SINCE HE TOLD ME THOSE LIES. I texted Chris to let him know the installation was sloppy and was done inefficiently. I was told by the installers, the receptionist, and by Chris that someone would contact me about this debacle. 3 months and I havent heard from anyone. THEY EVEN INSTALLED RETURNS NEXT TO MY FIRE EXTINGUISHERS!After receiving three $800 electric bills, I am now reviewing my contract with Frymire; I WANT OUT OF THIS NIGHTMARE!

Highly recommend getting regular yearly maintenance on your HVAC and plumbing systems. I booked my annual AC Maintenance so I can make sure I have no problems during summer. I have been doing this for the last 3 years. Technician Francisco Guerrero was prompt, friendly and professional. He did a great job explaining how my system was performing and what the benchmarks meant. I can look forward to a worry free summer.10-17-24: Time for my annual HVAC Furnace maintenance. Frymire/Strittmatter called and scheduled my appt taking one thing off my to do list. Gilbert Magdaleno arrived on time as promised. He is a new tech to me but reassured me that he had reviewed the prior maintenance reports. After he completed his work, he reviewed the system performance report with me and let me know everything was fine. I really appreciate how knowledgeable the techs are and that he took the time to explain and answer my questions. Gilbert is friendly, professional and knowledgeable and I will definitely request him for my next maintenance service.

Chance and his partner were on time and courteous. They fixed my stopped up sink and the problem toilet. They explained what they were going to do before started and suggested some other services that I may consider in the future.

My latest Frymire tech solved an issue with my newly-installed unit. Indoor temp and duty cycle (100%) were way too high at 100+ temps. New tech (3rd tech to visit my location) found leak in indoor unit. He overcharged coolant from outside, now our home is 76-77 degrees on the most punishing Summer days. System no longer runs constantly. He’ll fix indoor leak when attic is tolerably cool. Smart.

Dave did a great job. Very professional. He explained what the problem was and showed me why it happened.

Terribly disappointed in the company and the service we have received. They preformed maintenance on our 2 units min March and said everything is great. June comes around and a unit is broken. It took me calling 2 times a week apart for them to actually believe me and come out to look at them. When they came out, guess what, one of the units was broken. They ordered a part which took 2 weeks to come in!! I called a few times checking on it and only received a call back once. They were not proactive on checking why things were taking so long and obviously not returning my calls. In that time our second unit went out because it has had to work overtime for so long. When things like this happen it not only costs money to fix everything but you also end up doing more activities out of the house and eating out more because no one wants to cook in a 85 degree house that has 88% humidity🤯 They have not offered any discount on anything, even looking at the second unit. I am obviously going with a new company for the second unit. Save yourself the trouble and just look elsewhere now.

My AC went out upstairs and todays high temperature is 105*. I was a customer for 10-15 years but will not be in the future. I had a confirmed appointment scheduled for 8-10am midweek which I tried to schedule for ASAP since its hot as hell and my AC doesnt work. They called at 9:30 to confirm the appointment that we had already confirmed. Because it was midweek I was not able to answer to the call and they decided to cancel my appointment as a result. Which look, if Im not there and you show up then fine charge me a nominal fee (which they have done previously and rightly so). Additionally, I was traveling for work and not able to personally be there but had given authority to someone else to act on my behalf. Unfortunately, they require me to be there which was not possible while its 105* currently. So going forward I wont be using them due to their corporate policies requiring an appointment confirmation (during the already confirmed window) and that I personally have to be there. I sure hope no one dies due to their breach of a contract!

Will not use this company again. The Call Center didnt include my cell number on the service ticket so, the technician was very late arriving. The tech rinsed the outside unit with water, charged $160 just for that. Also wanted to add 2 lbs of freon at $160/lb., which wasnt needed. The original company that installed the unit came out the next day verified the freon level was okay. The inside temp. of the house was 70° at the time, however the filter (20×20×1) was very dirty and needed to be changed. Lesson learned for $230. Rinse your outside unit and change your filter.

Had my first plumbing issue as a newer home owner. I was nervous but my plumber was helpful and informative. They got the work down quickly and costs were reasonable! Thank you!Edit: 5/30/24. Unfortunately I have to change my 5 star review to a 1 due to the fact that my credit card was charged 3x in one day for the same service. When I called Frymire last week to dispute the two charges and request a refund, two reps I spoke with said it’s just an “authorization charge.” I have never heard of charging 3 separate auth charges for one singular transaction. And at this rate, I haven’t received a refund. Thankfully I can dispute this with my credit card company. Be weary of this company.

We had an appointment for air conditioning maintenance on Friday, June 28 for arrival between 12-2. We were also planning on using them to redo our duct work as they had for our neighbors. We received a reminder email the day before. My husband waited at home, and no one ever showed up. We have called twice now for someone to contact us and have received no response. Not sure how a company that no shows people and doesnt return calls has any good reviews.

The company is absolutely wonderful to work with. The gentleman arrived on time, were polite, and very thorough. Thankful that they took the time to patiently explain everything to me. They explained what actually needed to be fixed and what in truth could wait.Their quote was below what other companies have quoted me, for the exact same work.On top of that this is the first time in a while that I was left feeling like the company cared and wasnt trying to add or talking us into something we didnt really need.

Brandon the tech is great, he is not the problem. Ken in service and the entire leadership team at Frymire sucks! Screwed me out of a years membership cost and still left the job undone. Left wires exposed and screws on the pad. Always concerning when they fix something and have a bunch of left over screws. Never did come back to fix the exposed wires. When I called about another problem, they quickly showed up. They tried to charge me $450 to install at $14.00 part. They quickly lowered it to $350 and I told them to get the heck off my property and never come back. I sent my daughter to pick up the part and installed it myself. I should have fired them a year ago, but try to be loyal. They are not the same company, run as fast as you can away from these clown/con artists. They wont finish the job, and they rip you off on all fees. Avoid the monthly maintenance fee, its a rip and a scam. Call anybody but these buffoons.

Chance was very professional and fixed the issue that I was experiencing.My home was built in the 80s and he recommended purchasing up to date hot and cold water faucets.The City of Garland has a lot of mineral deposits in the water which tends to corrode and create unwanted deposits on the working parts of faucets.
