The service technician was on time and extremely courteous. He promptly diagnosed my issue as refrigerant leaking from the evaporator coil. However, he stated he could not add any refrigerant as my unit uses R22 which is no longer in use. It is inconceivable that this company would not use an R22 substitute. I do know R22 substitutes exist. I paid for a service call and labor to detect the leak, but no relief from the heat.

My experience with Ellis air was great which is why I’m writing this review something I never do. The best part about it was the price, speed, and service were all great. They came after my furnace stopped working they diagnosed the problem while they were there, had me a price to fix it and a day scheduled to come fix it all before they left. Sammy and Dusty showed up to do the install on time and knocked it out. They were friendly and polite. They cleaned the areas they were working so well I felt like I needed to clean the rest of the house once they were finished it looked better then when they got here. I would strongly recommend getting Ellis air to to a look at your system if you are having issues or need a replacement you will not be disappointed!

Dickie (service technician) was on time, professional and knowledgeable. Dickie did not leave until the AC unit was fixed. He explained the situation and and explained the repairs he had to make to fix the unit. Customer service was great from the time I called to make the appointment until the job was complete. I would use the Ellis Air team again and would request Dickie to do the job.

Ellis provided same day service when our AC was out for the second time this hot Texas summer. They had the part I needed and put it in the same day! Thank you Butch at Ellis!

Denny is amazing, a guy that knows how to fix an hvac problem.

We have had a couple of different times where we lost A/C at the worst times and they have been able to come in and fix in one case and replace in another same day. When it is 100+ degrees and you get same day service I think that is hard to beat. They have always been upfront and honest about costs and I trust them and that is very important to my family and I.

Ellis AC has a stellar crew. Always courteous on the phone, reliable service, thorough, clean, and respectful. I have used them for many years and will continue to highly recommend them.
