Cooper and Philip replaced a new sewage line in my yard and it was the smoothest plumbing experience Ive ever had. They handled everything after I said yes to the repairs. The whole job took 3.5 days but our plumbing wasnt interrupted at all. Cooper and Philip were both very easy to reach and responded quickly with any concerns I had. They were very knowledgeable and very professional. Labor workers did a phenomenal job of neatly digging the trench where the line is and neatly filling it back it. Very precise and amazing work from everyone. Will definitely use AStar for my future projects/issues. Highly satisfied!

Astar has excellent service. They took care of my major leak in my front yard today. It was a lot of work having to dig up the line to find the leak and then repair it but they did a great job and even unclogged my bath tub drain as well!Kane and Luis were very friendly and did a great job getting things done as quickly and efficiently as possible. We had Astar come and service our heaters today and the process was incredibly thorough. The technician Frankie was outstanding, he was patient and friendly. Ultimately he went over some concerns and helped us address them appropriately. I highly recommend them and him!

A-Star installed all new plumbing at my home in April of 2023. My initial interaction with company staff was good. They were professional and seemed to care. However, had I known that they did not warranty their work for more than one year, I would have shopped other companies.Extreme disappointment is an understatement!!!Today (approximately 1.5 years) after the new install I am having issues with my plumbing. I contacted them to check to see if the project was still covered under warranty. The answer was NO and Alejandra didn’t even ask if they could help. Lesson learned - never trust a company to provide large (pricey) services that does not give a long term guarantee on their work!!!!UPDATE: It appears that I received wrong information on the warranty. Alan Dean the Operations Manager contacted me to correct the misinformation I was given by the call center rep. Alan explained that they do in fact warranty their work on projects they provided for me for 10 years. I’m happy to know that I can rely on them in the future if needed.Thank you Alan for being consistent and insistent when trying to reach me today to clear the matter!

Had an A+ experience with this company today! We had a stoppage in our mainline which they resolved in no time. Very easy to schedule and quick to show up. My technician/Cooper was extremely knowledgeable and patient to explain exactly what the problem was. I just called them a minute ago to schedule another property I have for tomorrow since I was so impressed!

Frankie came out to fix our A/C after a fuse shorted and was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service, he explained every step of the way what he was doing and what the cost would be for various outcomes. I will definitely go back to this company and hopefully get Frankie again.

I had a problem with my air conditioner. I called them and they sent a master. He was in unprofessional attire with pants which was always fell down. He checked everything and said that I need to pay $2000. I rejected. I called to a different technician and he just changed my filter which I already had and my air conditioner started to work. I paid just $90. Dont use this company. They lies.

Had a new air conditioning unit installed yesterday by A Star. Both Carlos Rivera and Juan Gutierrez provided excellent 5 Star service. They explained my situation well and thoroughly, gave me different options for repair and for replacement. Juan’s installation team did a great job and left everything clean and tidy. I’m very pleased with my new system and highly recommend them!

A little pricey, but I get it because who wants to DIY electricity? My electrician was efficient and polite. He did some great work!!I had Astar out to my house again to do more electrical work and Cole did a great job!

I am a 71-year-old disabled woman. My sister called and told me there was a free coupon with this company to come in and service my AC / heater unit. A very young man came and spent a few moments out there. He came in my house and detailed a $14,000 job that needs to be done on my unit. Then he left without servicing anything. He left knowing I had no heat and could not have cared less. He focused only on selling me an expensive repair. He did not do anything to try to get me some heat in my house. A coupon is a clickbait. Its one of those things to get you into their grip and milk you for everything you got. He did not even try or give me any idea that something could be done to alleviate my immediate problem. Ive been keeping warm in an electric blanket.Today, I got a second opinion. Yes, my AC is old and it does have rust and needs repair. He however, took a can of WD-40, sprayed it on the unit gave it a little tug and voila, the heat was on. Josh did not even bother to tell me there was no door back there which I had no idea. I do need repair but Ill be hiring the honest man who is more concerned with my safety and my heating and gave me other options. Your guy, his name was Josh, could not have cared less. I would never recommend or use your company. Tell Josh thanks for his time, but no thanks.

I enjoyed and appreciated Phillip for coming out to my home today. He did a wonderful and awesome job checking my Ac unit. I loved the way he asked me to come along as he showed me the things that was causing the problems. Without a technician like Phillip other company techs lied and kept me in the dark about what was really going on with my Ac unit. It was disappointing to know the horrible news of the issue, but thank God for sending Phillip to let me see for mysef and know of all this things that is urgent and major damages that need done Immediately that can cause my home to catch fire and harming me and son health. I had the worst experience with Star Air Conditioning & Plumbing. They installed a new air conditioning system that leaked through the roof in my office. During installation, they turned off my water heater, but when they turned the water back on, it wouldn’t work. They sent a technician who claimed I needed a new water heater when, in reality, all they needed to do was relight the pilot light.When winter came, the air conditioning unit stopped working. It turned out to be a faulty Trane system. A technician promised to return the same day to install the necessary part, but that was two weeks ago, and I’m still waiting.On top of all this, they charge $14 every month for a service plan that’s nothing but a rip-off. Don’t fall for it. After 30 years in my home, this is hands-down the worst service I’ve ever encountered. This company is a complete joke.And dont fall for that Better Business Bureau rating that they have on their website you cant even click it to go to the Better Business Bureau to where they dont even show up as members of the Better Business Bureau Fake

Sean was amazing. We had a gas leak in our furnace and Sean personally made sure the manufactured part was ordered, then he called to let us know when the part would arrive. The part was installed the next day quickly and efficiently. Sean also performed routine maintenance on our furnace. Sean has excellent customer service skills and he did what he said he would do.

A Star did a free maintenance/check service for my HVAC today - no cost:)Jake arrived as promised and he’s top notch in his experience and inspected our both units outside and the furnace in the attic. He advised me with multiple options on how I can take some proactive measures.I’m impressed and would hire them to do my job.

I was having issues with my ac, I had Christopher come out the 1st time issues wasn’t resolved he thgt it was a different problem. I had a great technician that came out this past Tuesday he was very helpful, informative, and nice. He took his time and found the problem and was able to fix my issue. He also said that roots in my line would damage the auger, which is completely untrue as I have had my sewer lines cleaned this way in the past. Basically what this company wants to do is run a camera into your sewer line and then recommend that you need an expensive repair. This is your warning. Do not waste your time with a business who uses bait and switch tactics and offers fake coupons while lying about their intentions.

We called AStar and they put who I feel is their best electrician/service rep in the call. His name is Phillip. He was able to walk the Generac electrician step by step in how to diagnose and repair the problem. All of this was on a Saturday night! A productive experience with AStar: Removing and replacing antique (30+ YO) and filthy (rat scat) insulation. My husband and I had been talking about replacing insulation; Philip gave us more info and answered questions that had come up in our research. He was personable and professional. He coordinated the project for the next day. Gees crew arrived as scheduled. We had an important scheduling issue so Philip had arranged crews to work all day. What a huge job! Gee and his crew were fantastic--finished, cleaned up. Gee explained on site what they were doing. Philip was available; he coordinated another task and checked in throughout the day. Later that night I was able to set thermostat lower than usual and felt comfortable. Ill look forward to comparing energy bills. Thanks to all of the AStar professionals.

We have had good service from a star for some time now. When our air conditioning went out, they were at our location, Diagnosed, the problem gave us a reasonable estimate and installed our new air conditioner. They were quiet, professional and left.Everything neat and clean after they were done. We are very pleased with the service we received.

While the recent service on July 31, 2024 was very good and the technician was informative about the needed HVAC repairs and were done quickly, I do find on occasion A Star falters on communicating accurately about upcoming appointments or misses needed follow up calls and updates.

Phillip came to our home and after a detailed diagnoses of our AC system, suggested that we have a pressure test performed. The technicians came the next day, Nieves & Jose did a fantastic job, during the pressure testing they found a leak on the outside system, repaired the leak, and had our AC system working within a short period of time. Phillip was incredibly professional and easy to work with. Phillip quickly proposed an estimate and solution for the problem.

Professional company and excellent work. They changed out coils in our units. This is a big job and they didn’t stop until finished. It was extremely hot day besides being in the attic where they were working.

HVAC and electrical inspection were as per expectations but had bad experience with plumbing inspection done with AStar. It was visual inspection which inspector did it in 10-15 minutes. Rest of time he just spent in front of VAN camera and acting like he is working on something. He then came to us and cheat chatting with us for no reason to show in camera he was working with customer. He was just wasting his company time and my money.And end of inspection no finding. Very generic comments. I shared my feedback to AStar and with his supervisor and as per his supervisor he was working and doing his work properly.Not happy with plumbing service. HVAC and electrical inspection were good.

I can not say enough good about Carlos Rivera. I had him come out for a second opinion on an estimate that didn’t seem quite right to me. Within 20 minutes he had the ac up and running and showed me exactly what the problem was. The $7200 estimate the other company gave was a $400 fix today with a plan to get system/vents cleaned later in week to help the repair last. Carlos was honest and up front about everything he found. So glad I got the second opinion. I will be a lifelong customer.

Astar--Carlos Rivera Jr-- responded quickly. Tried his best to revive our 23-year old hvac for just a few days to protect us old folks from the 109-degree heat index Dallas was experiencing. Unfortunately, everything was burned out, including the little fix they put in last year to try to get us one more year before having to replace the entire system. It worked, but the year was up. From there, Carlos showed us a spread of available systems. We picked one, and even though it was Saturday, AStars installation crew (see photo) showed up first thing Sunday morning, removed the old system, and carefully put in the new system. We could not be happier!

Sean Hix was our tech, he came to help us on a Tuesday night at 11:30 pm when we came home to a puddle of water on the floor from the A/C closet upstairs. After being out of town for a couple of days, we came home to this. We did not know what to do, carpet was drenched upstairs from the A/C overflowing. Sean was very professional, very patient, listened to what we said and responded with a lot of knowledge. Again, very professional and, at this hour of the night, he made us feel safe and at ease with him and everything that was going on. Definitely recommend this company and technician.

Astar responded to my request for a quote for an electrical repair, and the technician, Eric, arrived on time and was courteous and efficient. He gave me a quote for the repair and I consented. It turns out that I only needed a wall switch replaced. The service was very good but the price for replacing the wall switch was quite high.

Alan, Philip, Luz and the installation crew lead by Juan all did a great job of getting our 23 year old system replaced. Alan offered to have someone promptly come out free of charge and confirm the proper size system we needed after I had posted some questions about proposals I had received from other contractors. Philip arrived on time and spent a lot of time measuring our home, asking questions and answering my questions. He was very knowledgeable. Once I made a decision to purchase from AStar he scheduled the installation for that same day at 2 pm. The crew arrived on time and worked very hard late into the night in a very hot & humid attic. They were clean, courteous and answered any questions I had. The cost of the new system was very fair and competitive. I Couldnt have had a better experience with AStar and Carlos Rivera. He was friendly, professional, and thorough. He explained what type of unit I needed, and gave me a fair price. I had a new, working unit the very next day. The installation crew was efficient and very clean. When they left, the only way one would know they had been there was that the house was nice and cool. They covered the floors as they worked, and removed all the debris when they left.

Ive used A-Star since Alex, the owner, was a small operation installing HVAC systems. Theyve grown substantially, but they still take care of their customers. Recently I had to replace a tankless water heater that proved to be a little tricky. The guys at A-Star had to double back to make some modifications and they got on it quickly to make things right. Good attitude, good customer service. Much appreciated!

My experience with the Company overall was pleasant enough customer service was prompt and courteous the technician was pleasant enough he was on time he was professional. He was thorough as far as I know, but since I don’t know anything about fixing air conditioners, I wouldn’t know if he didn’t do something correctly or not. My issue is with the builder who hired the company and allowed them to poorly install my air conditioner in the first place before I bought my house.

We had AStar out for electrical and plumbing needs… they were fantastic… their electrician, Edgar, rewired many fluorescent tubes to handle LEDs and did a beautiful job of it. Their plumber, Irving, did an incredible job of replacing five faucets and the hot water heater… after all these years living here we’ve finally found the electrician and plumber for all of our needs in those areas… Thanks AStar for having such awesome employees!

Really disappointed by the lack of service out of A Star. There’s no point in scheduling an appointment with you guys. The first 4 times, I’m forced to take time off of work to meet you at my home, but you can’t even show up when you’re scheduled to, so I burn up a day of vacation for nothing.I rescheduled again ensuring I was the first appointment on the books for a damper installation, air balance, and yearly service this morning. Then, they proceed to tell me they don’t have time to do the scheduled service and air balance that was part of my appointment and that i’d have to reschedule again for that. Why would I reschedule if you guys can’t show up when you say you’re going to show up and can’t do the work that you say you’re going to do?It’s nearly impossible doing business with you guys.Sincerely,Disappointed Customer

Unlike the previous tech who visited my home in February, Carlos took the time to review the benefits of the program subscription with my wife and me. He also showed us what he had discovered and provided direction on maintenance between visits. Phil, Alan and the techs at A Star Heat and Air Inc did a remarkable remove and replace of our two failed AC units yesterday. It was nearly a seamless transition from the old to the new.From the sale of the units to us late Monday afternoon, to their installation beginning at 8:30 am on Tuesday, everyone at A Star was punctual, courteous, professional, well organized, respectful and understanding of our immediate needs and situation. Additionally, the lead installer (Juan G) was extremely knowledgeable in addressing questions I had during the install per Seers and other matters. Before leaving, he saw to it that the systems were thoroughly tested and working properly, the site was cleaned, debris removed, walkways cleaned, and he even did a walk through inspection of the team’s work with me before leaving at 6 pm. It is a very professional looking install with several updates over the initial installation by our home’s builder’s HVAC contractor. It is obvious, A Star takes great pride in their workmanship during a HVAV system installation.We truly appreciate the efforts put forth by all at A Star in restoring our air conditioning during one of the hottest days of the year.A-Star Heating and Air Inc is truly a second-to-none company. Regular inspection of system showed that a pipe was clogged and needed to be cleared. We have also been having trouble with the temperature in the bedroom being too warm. The inspector then proposed much additional work for the (brand new) system and gave us three quotes. The first two were far too expensive. We accepted the third estimate, for the work needed, and after paying $1000.00, the work done made no difference to the bedroom temperature.

Carlos Rivera, Jr. came out today and got our A/C cooling again. He made several recommendations for future services needed. And after 5 years, it was about time. No one likes spending money on repairs and maintenance, but he suggested good options. And, he was the nicest guy!Thank you, Carlos and Astar Air Conditioning for a job well done!

I recently had a wonderful experience with A-star. They came out to our home for a free tune up and discovered one of the heater parts wasn’t functioning properly. I called them following week to get it replaced. Erin from A-star worked diligently to get the part ordered and set up the installation timely. I recently had AStar Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric come out to fix a power outage issue in my home. They diagnosed the problem as needing a panel replacement, which they carried out. However, less than four months later, a power outage in the neighborhood led to the complete failure of the same circuit.The original quote stated that a panel replacement would take half a day, 2 days later, they were still finishing up. Despite their previous work, I was unable to flip the breakers to restore power. When I called AStar, the electrician they sent out insisted that everything was working as it should. Now, they want to charge additional fees to diagnose what appears to be the same issue they supposedly fixed the first time.I am extremely disappointed with their service and would advise others to seek a second opinion before hiring AStar. It doesnt seem logical that a circuit they were hired to fix now doesnt work and its somehow not their responsibility. This experience has been frustrating and costly, and I regret choosing AStar for my electrical needs.

These people are terrible. We called on a Saturday morning because our air isnt working. They tell us to call back on Monday! What, its over 100° outside! They say they will be sending someone out today, at 1 pm its now 9:40pm and no one has come. Sleep will be impossible tonight with 3 panting dogs and stifling heat! We just called and Alaina says she will call us back in 5 to 7 minutes 40 mins later, still no call. We call them back, and we get their voicemail. Have some integrity!!!I dont recommend them what so ever! If we didnt have to use them for our warranty I wouldnt use them just for the lack of integrity, lack of communication, and lack of customer service.

We love A-Star. They keep us updated on every service that is needed and continues to do great maintenance work. The service person, Justin, is very knowledgeable and professional. He always keeps us apprised of all he is doing and informs us of any future issues that could arise. This is true of each technician that has serviced our system.

I was surprised when they were able to install the WHOLE SYSTEM only a few hours after my initial call.They did it all in about 8 hours. They had to come back and install 2 grills that got mis-ordered, but that was less than 2 hours that next morning.Overall, not bad - and quickly done.

My builder switched to this company and sent in a technician to help balance my home temperature.He (Dinell) was very knowledgeable about my HVAC system and patient in helping me understand the process.

It was a good experience working with A-Star. My attics old insulation was taken out and replaced with new. They also patched any open cracks to prevent rats, mice, and other varmints from getting into the attic. Gees team, was very courteous and professional. The serviceman provided some additional suggestions for keeping peskyvarmints out, and provided suggestion on keeping my AC/heating units in proper working order.

Irving was very professional. He explained what he thought was the problem with the leak in my front yard and gave me an estimate. He and his assistant went right to work. At one point he said there was one additional thing he would like to do putting down pea gravel, gave me the price for the extra work. I agreed. They finished the job and cleaned the area and made sure my water was working properly before they left. Their invoice was thorough and they provided pictures of what did. I would use them again!

Irving and his assistant responded quickly and also identified the source of my plumbing emergency quickly. Although we had a minor miscommunication between us as to how a job was to be finished, that was likely due to my being unclear about my intentions. The job was finished to my satisfaction. Throughout, Irving was always courteous and he did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to have him work on my system again.

Astar a/c did a Superb job with our air conditioning issue. They sent two guys out on a Thursday afternoon @ 3:30. P. M. & the temp was in low 90’s. ( inside temp was 95). The worked inside & out, as efficiently as they possibly could, all the while keeping us well updated on the progress of their work.They were extremely professional as well as polite. They finished up approximately 3-1/2 to 4 hrs later & had our house feeling like normal by the evening. They replaced our coil, plenum, & re-did our ductwork. They also cleaned up very well when the job was complete! Will ABSOLUTELY recommend & refer this company to our friends. Also , they did a follow up call on Friday afternoon to check how every thing went. Great customer service!

Since my house was completed and we took possession we have been saying there is something wrong with the AC.They have come out multiple times, we’ve had to sit there for hours for them to come up with nothing.Finally, a few weeks ago a tech came out and we asked him to confirm that there was air flowing from all the vents.Come to find out it was NOT. He also determined we had a bad damper. He literally had to Duct tape the damper open. He also confirmed the air needed to be balance because there was not enough air flowing in certain parts of the house. In some cases both air flowing AT ALL.Here we are now three weeks later. Damper is still Duct Taped. All we get are excuses about how they are short staffed.How do you do a job and not make sure air is flowing from all vents?Completely over it.

I give A-Star AC P&E a rating of 10 out of 10 for the work done at my home recently, especially to Cooper who was very helpful. He never tired of my phone calls and was quick to respond to my inquiries. The work was completed in a timely manner by his crew and cleanup was performed. My kitchen sink was flooding my laundry room and laundry backed into kitchen. It had been snaked 3 times by another plumber. They used water jet to clear out whatever was causing the backup. Something that wasn’t offered by the previous plumber.

Spent $700 6 hrs ago and the issue is not resolved & unable to return until Mon. My unit has been running non stop for 7hrs and anticipate it will continue having to run non stop until they return.The tech did not have chemicals on truck to clean unit which “should resolve issue” & have to wait until Mon. for their return. Never mind that I’m a ‘Gold Star member’ and on the regular maintenance program to avoid major issues.Never mind that for 5 yrs in a row, I’ve had non stop issues w AC since home was purchased new.At this point, I’m going to say, I would steer clear of this company.The technicians are friendly and seem knowledgable, yet ongoing issues- seems each repair is a band aid. Maybe management needs to review this case again or have another company come out to assist /provide second opinion until there is an actual resolution to ongoing problems. This company is original installer for the home (new build) and installed a 2nd new unit & unable to find root of problem/ solution.

6/23/24Im updating my review as a result of my conversation with Allen, the manager.He has offered an amicable solution. Im appreciative of him offering to fix my ac unit for a reasonable agreement.They are scheduled to come out 6/24/24. I will update the review again at that time.This is a multipurpose review because Im pissed at how companies just take your money and think its okay to be dismissive about their services.This is an honest review. And a built-up one.First. I thought to use them because my builder used them to install the ac unit.1. Call for A/cI called them when Brand new ac unit went out after my home warranty with the builder expired. June 2023 was the service call.The first technician was professional. He diagnosed the fan unit. The part was ordered and replaced in about a weeks time. He also sold me their monthly maintenance plan, which is about 15 a month, and each service call is 49, which goes towards repar.2. Call for duplicate debitAROUND DEC 2023. they debited my account three times in one month. I called about four times to be told that I wanted something different. I asked for a debit back to my account. I was told ok. However, those costs not charge me for the two overpayments for the two months. I let this slide because of travel and personal issues. But imagine if i had incurred overdraft fees. They didnt ask. I know they didnt care. But again, I let this slide.3. Call for leaky pipes in kitchen.. around 1/2024I made a service call about a leaky pipe under the kitchen sink. The plumber came out and quoted me almost 500.00 to replace a sink drain strainer. I asked if pipes needed to be replaced, and he said yes. Remember, my home is 2 years old. I googled and did the repair for 30 bucks. Now I know they have to charge. But that was an overcharge. Again, I let this slide and remained a customer.4. Called for A/C June 2024I made a service call about AC unit making a lawn mower noise. Technician said it was my fan motor, the same repair they did in 2023.. just a year ago. 500.00 repair cost. I ask the tech if I decided to have them do repair could my 49 service fee go toward cost. He said he would make a note. Sure he didnt.I talked to Allen the HVAC manager who agreed to reduce repair cost to 350. I was appreciative but still not satisfied because why is the part failing.. THE UNIT IS TWO YEARS OLD. AND FAN MOTOR WAs ALREADY REPLACED.. NOW NEEDED AGAIN.6.18.2024I called Daikin.. Goodmans parang company who advised me if the part hasnt been replaced the tech can call their tech support to troubleshoot before making a repair.6.19.24I called Allen at Astar and advised what Daikin said. He said techs troubleshoot after part replacement.. which I didnt understand because I work in tech support and its best to test in the failed environment. He also mentioned that calling tech support isnt something they do regularly except certain conditions.So im.back at square one and pissed. The installer/hvac company gave me a quote and thats where their esponsibility ends. The manufacturer doesnt want to take ownership of a failed part/ bad unit. Thats where their responsibility ends.Im just sick of companies lack of accountability and ownership of their defects in service and manufacturing of their products.. and continue to pass their crappy craftsmanship to the consumer.Also, Astar mentioned because of TX weather it takes a toll on the unit. Im from MO so i know all about heat. My Trane unit withstood MO weather and didnt break down ever. A BAD GOODMAN UNIT AND QUESTIONABLE INSTALLATION IN TX ARE TO BLAME. Fan motor failure two times in a two year old unit is MFC OR INSTALLATION ERROR. PERIOD.

I have been without ac for a month astar came out and then sent another tech out 10 days later who determined we had a leak in our coil it has been 4 days still no response of when the part is coming in so our ac can be fixed. It’s in the 100s in Texas. We called several times speaking with several people and all we get is apologies no honest answers and they don’t seem to be in any hurry to get our ac up and running.. Ac is under warranty at this point they should just replace the entire ac unit.

Sean was awesome! He walked me thru the issue, gave me all the options and along with the most cost effective solutions. A true professional and highly would recommend the service he provided.

I recently experienced a clog with the hvac unit in my attic. I contacted A-Star and received 5- star service from technician, Akira. He was quick, efficient, and incredibly polite and thorough, despite temperatures of 90+ inside of my house and even higher in the attic. He inspected all lines and plumbing and was quick to repair and unclog the main line piping. I highly recommend Akira for any HVAC services needed. The reasoning for the 4 star rating is due to scheduling experience. I contacted A-Star on Saturday at 3:30pm and was promptly told that a tech would be out same day. After a few return calls between 6-8pm, I could only reach the after hours voicemail. I called again Sunday morning and was told I was scheduled for Monday, even with my account being charged $200 for after hours service. Thankfully, the representative was able to send Akira out and my system was working within a few hours. My house is finally cooling down and I am so thankful for the A-Star Team!

Sean once again was very courteous. He was able to confirm that the heating element is performing up to spec and explained a possible solution and the associated costs for us to consider.

All the drains in both of my bathrooms were clogged. We could not use either bathroom. These guys came after 5 pm on Friday and fixed the problem right away. They did not charge me their full after-hours fee since it was an easy fix. They were able to blow out an outside line. And then they said they will come on Monday and put a camera in the line to see if there is a blockage of any kind. I was so relieved!!. I imagined myself going to Tom Thumb to the bathroom all weekend.

Dinell came out to check on a couple of issues with our house. AStar had installed the HVAC system on our new house and as part of the warranty, they come out for an air balance. Dinell was able to address all our issues and explained everything really well. He also called twice on his way to let me know that traffic was bad so that I wouldnt be waiting around on him without knowing what was going on. He was knowledgable, polite, and took extra time to make sure we knew what was going on with our system. One of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time!

Shawn was the one who attended our needs and issues for our aircon. He works very good. I will recommend him.

Chris from new construction quickly diagnosed the whistling coming from a hallway ceiling return and fixed it within minutes. Excellent company in every respect - professionalism, timeliness and communication. As a result, we are signing a very reasonable monthly service contract with them to get regular check-ups and save in the long run.

Andrew from Astar worked hard to install updated and code-compliant electrical work and so in professional and timely manner. He communicated transparently all updates, changes, and costs. I would gladly have him work again and would recommend him to anyone.

Terrible experience but I guess you get what you pay for.The tech came in, barely ran any tests, didnt even go see the interior unit in the attic and suggested the evaporator coil was broken and leaking freon. He also suggested my warranty was faulty. We then spent a half hour on him trying to sell me a new $15,000 system.After getting a second opinion, I found out all the information the A-Star tech provided was false.The warranty was still approved by the manufacturer. There was actually nothing wrong with my unit. The real problem was a lack of insulation.Worst salesman tricks in the book. Do not hire this company.

A Star did a fantastic job my complete AC replacement, including new ducts and added insulation. They were prompt, thorough, and extra careful to clean up afterwards. All at a very fair price.

Kaylee was great to work with over the phone and the service techs we have had have all been very knowledgeable and great to work with. Definitely recommend!
