2 units down in July ugh…but the team at AC Rescue is amazing. They got us back up and running quick. Ask for David he is a subject matter expert, full of knowledge and experience. The company also does the right thing when they need to make honest judgment calls, and recommendations. I will use them again. We are looking at getting Bosch upgrades for our HVAC. I have nothing bad to say about this company and their employee Richard. He was professional and knowledgeable and he even did a couple little extra things for me just to be nice. He’s a very nice man and I completely trust him and his workmanship. Everything is up and running again. Nice and cool in my house now. He’s very honest. I would definitely request him to come again if I need their services in the future. I really liked him.

This review is for Daniel, with AC Rescue, Inc. We have AHS home warranty. And, I wont go into that but they hit a home run with this company. This company is new for them to send to our home. Weve been with AHS for 22 years. Daniel arrived promptly and was professional. I told him the issue and headed to the attic and diagnosed the issue. Had the part on his truck and repaired our gas furnace. We are back in business. Hes a veteran in this industry. He didnt give this long window to wait. It was only a 2 hour window and actually he came early. Someone else had to reschedule. I can only speak on Daniel. He was great for us and explained to me what our issue was. I also like that they use a dispatchers who promptly get you set up for an appointment. The company seems like they have things in order, and by the pictures they are in a brand new facility. Give them a try.

Daniel did a great job diagnosing the three problems with our furnace unit. He went above and beyond to source the parts from multiple distributors to fix our problem and get our furnace from 1995 back up and running in time to face the cold. I have AHS, and have had different AC companies come out to the house for varying reasons. I am leary of any new companies that I am not familiar with. Well, AC Rescue restored my faith in good companies. They were able to diagnose the problem and have it repaired. Kuddos to Shaun, Scott, Amanda, George, and Ivan. Job well done!!!

I received a call from the manager today to discuss a situation with a home warranty company. I told her what was relayed to me by the home warranty company and her response to me was that I was 100% wrong. Thats it. No explanation or cooperation to try to explain the situation. Instead of telling a customer theyre 100% wrong, maybe good customer service would be to say thats not what their records show or try to bridge the miscommunication. So now, as a customer that is 100% wrong, I will double down and 100% not recommend AC Rescue to any of my friends or clients.

My home warranty scheduled service with AC rescue. Richard assisted with an issue I was having with one of my ac units. He replaced my capacitor and informed me that my unit was older and would eventually need replaced which we knew was the case..In addition, Richard communicated through out the day to keep me updated on his ETA. Highly professional, and a very friendly and helpful. Great work.

AC Rescue, Inc: How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways.Let me preface this by saying I *never* write negative reviews. I’d honestly rather spend my time doing anything else. But my experience with AC Rescue was such an unmitigated disaster, I feel morally obligated to warn anyone considering their services. If you value your sanity, keep scrolling and pick literally anyone else.First, a quick PSA for fellow AHS customers: prepare to be treated like a second-class citizen. Based on reviews, it’s clear that AC Rescue bends over backward for out-of-pocket customers but delivers the absolute bare minimum (or less) for those using AHS. A company that operates with such a blatant double standard screams *zero integrity.*Now, for the saga. From the very start, dealing with this company was a waking nightmare. Their scheduling system is absurd: you’re given vague service windows that seem designed to maximize inconvenience. The first technician texted me at 8 p.m. the night before my appointment, only to show up earlier than the designated window the next day. I wasn’t available, so we rescheduled. Annoying, but I let it slide.The next visit was where the true clown show began. I took an entire day off work for their tech to inform me that they couldn’t service my furnace because my house lacks a drop-down attic ladder, and their insurance prohibits them from using their own ladders. Okay, fair enough. Except *no other HVAC company has ever had this issue.* Still, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked them to reassign the job. Suddenly, the insurance code magically changed, and they could bring their own ladder after all—but not until Monday.Monday rolls around, and the tech shows up with the now-allowed ladder. He was polite, and he fixed the issue. Great, right? Wrong. The fix didn’t hold because, surprise, my system is old. I reopened the claim with AHS, bracing for more chaos.At this point, I’d already taken a day off work and endured their ineptitude, so I told the scheduler I could only meet at 3:45 due to my teaching schedule. She assured me she’d make a note. The next morning, the tech texted to say he’d be there at 3. I replied, politely but firmly, that I wouldn’t be home until 3:45. His response? A passive-aggressive message about rearranging his schedule just for me.Enter Patrick, the poster child for how *not* to handle customer service. Patrick left me a voicemail dripping with condescension, so I called him back during a break at work. What followed was a jaw-dropping display of gaslighting and mansplaining. Patrick spent seven excruciating minutes berating me for all the “special favors” they’d done, like *breaking code* to bring a ladder (because apparently doing your job is now a favor?). When I calmly pointed out that their mistakes had created this mess, Patrick launched into a circular tirade, repeating himself like a broken record.After enduring this nonsense for far longer than I should have, I hung up and called AHS. Even their concierge service was stonewalled by Patrick’s arrogance.As I write this, I’m sitting at home on a Saturday, waiting yet again for a tech. I’m sure Patrick will frame this as another “special favor” despite their website claiming 24/7 service. Let me be crystal clear: I would rather live without heat in the dead of winter than ever deal with this company again.If you’re considering AC Rescue, don’t walk—*run* in the opposite direction. They’re unprofessional, incompetent, and unapologetically rude. Save yourself the headache and find a company that values its customers. This one clearly doesn’t.

David with AC Rescue made this service visit so smooth and easy. He called the day before informing me of the time that he would arrive which was great in planning the rest of the day. He arrived on time, was ok with wearing a mask in the house when asked and was able to identify the problem swiftly! He also went above and beyond by showing me how to use a ratchet to switch out my air filter! He was able to fix our AC quickly which has been a blessing. I highly recommend him and AC Rescue! They are scammers! The worst most unethical company! They were assigned from American Home Shield who I also blame for this vendor! Now that I’ve been through this, I see all the other reviews of how unethical and rude they are. I don’t need AHS if they use such horrible vendors!! When I asked the technician why they didn’t tell me the issue the first 2 times AHS sent them and now is the 3rd time, the technician got angry took pipe under my sink apart and then left it loose so I had a leak under my sink 3 days. Then he unplugged my AC when it’s 105 degrees outside to purposefully leave us without AC during a holiday weekend. He left a mess under my sink and let the water leak on it and opened my attic and pulled the ladder down and left it. He made up a story that I screamed at him - which never happened. But the worst cruel thing he did was unplug the unit and not tell me and leave us in the heat for 3 days when the unit had already started working!! The manager Amanda is so rude and won’t listen - she is taking this technicians word and won’t even allow the customer to speak! I’m never going through a home warranty company again!!

AC Rescue replaced my HVAC system this summer. Ivan and his team arrived as scheduled and worked straight through despite the Texas hot humid temps. All 3-man crew were very professional and knowledgeable. When installation was complete, they hauled away the old system and did an excellent cleanup inside and out. Great attention to detail !! I want to say thank you Scott, at the office, for being so friendly, polite and always being available to answer all my questions and concerns. Your professionalism and continued follow-up from start to finish of system replacement made for a good experience working with AC Rescue.

I noticed a long water stain on my ceiling when I arrived home from vacation on yesterday afternoon. Your company was contacted, immediately, and reached out to me the same day to schedule an appointment for today as I was in a complete panic. I must say on a scale of 1-10 on integrity, this company deserves a 20. Two techs came out. One to diagnose and one to fix. They were both so nice and kind…almost like big brothers and father figures. The office staff, Scott, was the nicest guy. He knew I was very frustrated from my unit and really needed a little patience to figure things out. He had a level of transparency that is needed in this business. Really, it was a very good experience all the way around. It’s rare that I think highly of a repair company, but this one has been the best! Truly nice people!

This horrible company was assigned to me by American Home Shield because my downstairs AC unit was not cooling. They sent a tech on a Wednesday. When he arrived I could smell alcohol on him and he was slurring his words. I told him I wanted him to check the unit in the attic not just outside. He looked at the unit outside, returned in 5 minutes, and told me that there was a leak and I was down 4 pounds of freon. Of course terrible AHS only covers $10/lb so I had to cover the other $140/lb which was $560. I asked him again if he needed to go in the attic and he assured me that wasnt necessary because he fixed the leak on the unit outside. The next day, Thursday, I noticed the unit wasnt cooling again. So I called AHS around midnight to have them send a tech out again. Friday morning, I heard from AC Rescue and they reassigned the same tech to come between 3-6 pm. Something told me to reach out to another company to get another opinion on the issue. Both of my units were 18 years old so I knew I needed to replace them but I was trying to get through the summer first. Anyway the other company came out by 1 pm on Friday. They went in my attic and immediately noticed there was some white goop collecting at the bottom of the unit. The new tech said that AC Rescue basically sprayed leak stop outside and that was their fix which resulted in freon loss again less than 24 hours later. This let me know I couldnt trust AC Rescue to be honest and I decided to purchase two new units at a cost of $30k from the other company. When AC Rescues tech texted after 7 pm to say he was on his way I told him not to bother as Id bought new units from another company which were installed the next day. I called AHS to lodge a complaint. I waited two days for a call back and they basically said theres nothing they can do. So I called AC Rescue to see what they would do. I spoke to someone named Amanda who was rude and condescending and basically blamed me for not calling sooner. Its been literally 1 week since they were here and I didnt know their tech lied and didnt fix anything UNTIL the second company came out and told me. When I told her I wanted to speak with another manager or the owner she responded that shes the only manager. I then mentioned that its funny that her name is mentioned in a lot of these terrible reviews and I understand why. She told me that if all Im going to do is complain and leave bad reviews that shes not going to do anything. This company is a sad, unprofessional scam. SMH. Avoid them at all costs.

These AC units are the best. Nevertheless, I have never seen in my life such a couple of professional technicians work so fast and precise at the same time: Angel (Cuba) and Gustavo Peru). They took out our complete AC system and all air ducts in a while. Later on, in ONLY one day they installed the ARS complete system. Our home, that same day, became a new one with such stable temperatures. They were professional, cordial and explained everything in details to us. My wife Lourdes and I, congratulate them and your company for having such technicians

If it wasnt for Sonny who was awesome this might be a 1 star review. No problem with the AC technician at all.I highly recommend you stop working with Warranties to avoid unfavorable reviews. OneGuard is an awful company and waiting 6-8 weeks for an R22- compressor part from Lennox is not good for business. Especially in Texas.I have found a more favorable company with a much better price to replace my unit and upgrade from R-22 to R410a (which also goes away by end of the year). They beat your price by $4,000.I wish you all the best.Drop OneGuard Home Warranty

It is 105 degrees outside. This company came out six days ago and stated my evaporator coil is leaking freon and it needs to be replaced. Ok - the unit was installed in 2007, it will have some issues. I received a proposal for $4K that has never been explained. I called early this week and was promised a call that I have not received. When we called tonight the person read the phone number back to me that hed been calling, its right. My phone has been ringing all day, somehow 15 other people could call me today but these folks could not get through? Our warranty company American Home Shield has denied the work and were now faced with paying 100% out of pocket for the coil replacement. This is exactly why we have a home warranty!Weve called the warranty company two days in a row with no resolve at all....Im convinced that they just deny everything. Weve never gotten the answer we have been looking for......is an evaporator coil a normal wear and tear item??? Still waiting....so frustrated. Between the two Im not sure who is at fault but Im moving in a different direction for both services! As someone below said, save your $$ and just pay out of pocket for problems with your own vendor of choice! Im done playing these games.

Had this company come check out my AC. They’re who my warranty company sent. Guy was at my house for maybe 5 minutes. Didn’t climb the attic through garage because there was no flooring - fine. I have a second access point through my bedroom closet, he refused to go up because “he doesn’t do ladders” - odd for someone in this trade, said he would have another person that does, come back - fine. This guy proceeded to ”complete the service” and deemed as “not covered” because there was no access to unit. I would give them negative stars if I could.

Texas just consistently started hitting the mid 90s...youve got to have A/C! Wouldnt ya know it, ours started blowing warm air with an inside temperature at 83 and climbing. We went thru our Home Warranty which probably caused the delay of 3 days for someone to come out and help us, otherwise, we may have gotten someone out quicker. When they did respond, Daniel was our technician. He was promptly there at the house when he said he would be, very professional and courteous. He explained what he was going to do, answered all our questions, and resolved the issue. Were first-time home owners so we wanted to be able to maintain our unit to avoid more costly problems in the future...we had lots of questions and Daniel was very patient and answered all of them. He also was respectful of our house...we dont wear shoes inside and without me asking him, he pulled out some shoe soles to cover the bottom of his shoes to not mess up the floors of the house...very thoughtful. Will definitely call A/C rescue again if we have any problems. Thanks Daniel!!!

Beyond impressed! Cory is the BEST!I called on the coldest day we have had, fully expecting to have to wait for 2 weeks for an appointment. Within less than an hour I received a call letting me know that someone would be calling me to set up the appointment. So I figured I would get a call the next day or two and literally within 15 minutes a gentleman called me to tell me he had a tech in the area and could be here in less than 30 min!! I was SO SURPRISED and even more impressed!Cory went above and beyond to get to our house quickly in inclement weather conditions, quickly and very politely came in and got to work! We all were obviously assuming the worst and then we heard the poof if it firing up!!! Within minutes Cory had found the problem! He explained in detail what had happened and waited to make sure the blower came on, checked the vent output and was done right away!He is so informative and knowledgeable and Im sure one of your most valued employees! I cant say enough about Cory, his professionalism, problem solving and timeliness is outstanding! We have a 2.5 year old granddaughter that is very shy and she took immediately to him wanting him to come play with her and after seeing him acknowledge her immediately during our conversation I knew immediately he was a family man!Cory was the perfect technician for us ....thats an understatement!

They came out to fix a blower wheel that was making alot of noise. One week after their repair the blower wheel came completely loose and jammed up the system causing a power surge that resulted in simultaneous failure of the compressor and fan motor. I had to replace the entire system for $7k, and they refuse to take any responsibility. They also broke the attic ladder and didnt fix that either. Update 9/2. Owner has ignored most of my emails, but finally repsonded via review below. Response confirms lack of truth and ethics. Since their negligence caused the failure of the blower, compressor and fan motor, there was nothing left to do but replace the entire system. They told me this was my only option and gave me a quote of $7000. Because the technician that came out to initally diagnose the issue broke the attic ladder, the technician that verified the damages, never even went into the attic. I asked him to get his ladder to check the unit in the attic, and he said he does not carry a ladder. The second technician that they claim verified the damages, never came out to the house. There was no inclement weather at the time. Attached picture shows the blower wheel that they repaired.

They installed my new air handler after home shield sent them to my house. They charged me for uv protection and locking caps in the tunes of 375 dollars that was never installed. And I had to contact them about the heating element that was never installed and they then informed me that it was on back order. My install was June 23 so I called today to see the status of my back order and if they where going to refund me for the work they didnt perform and Ive heard nothing I put it on my credit card so I may contact them to see if I can cancel my credit card transaction.Update: 9-28-21I finally recieved my heater element from a 3 week back order.......3 months later. And have yet to receive a response about not getting the locking caps and uv protection refund for work they didnt perform.But on a good note Todd is a excellent technician who came and installed my heater element. He explained what he did and informed me that the new heater elements are different so I wouldnt be alarmed if I noticed the extra set of wires not connected. Hes A-1.

A Technician from A/C rescue came through *American home shield said it is going to cost $5,795 to fix or replace the AC where it required only cleaning. Whatever diagnosis he put in, warranty company denied the claim. My property manager had his AC guys look at it and they cleaned well and began to work. I will not recommend them to anyone.

I am extremely satisfied with the services provided by AC Rescue!! Daniel was prompt and courteous. He did a phenomenal job. The overall experience with this company from the time I got a phone call by Scott to the time the job was completed. It was just phenomenal. Scott understood the urgency of being serviced today with a disable person living in the home who requires a certain temperature environment … Rescued indeed,!!! Scott delivered on time with Daniel who was able to quickly assess and resolve the problem it took him less than 30 minutes!!!!! I am overwhelmed by the work that was performed. It has been in the triple digits in Texas the past 3 weeks. Lately my ac has not been cooling. I placed a service call in on a Friday evening and Cory was out at my house by 7:45am the next morning fixing my issue. He called and gave me the greatest news a person could ask for - that it was not a major issue. He showed me what he did to fix it.Cory demonstrated great concern about the lack of cold air I was getting in these severe hot temperatures, he quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it promptly. His outstanding personality was very genuine.I appreciate Scott as well for initiating the call to get Cory out to my house early this morning.I would recommend this company if you need quick attention and great customer service.Thank you again Cory and Scott. They need better technicians. I had a tech come out 10 days ago and my compressor stopped working. I had to pay another company to fix it. The HVAC guy Shaun was very rude and didn’t take criticism well. He basically told me straight up he didn’t care. Just a horrible tech. Dont use if American Home Shield assigns to you. I cancelled my AHS account because of this guy and company. AHS has the worst contractors. Just save your money and fix out of pocket for home repairs.

Just like the name, A/C Rescue really came to our rescue. In the midst of a record high heat advisory our A/C decided to give out. Scott was extremely friendly and helpful with getting us scheduled. Then Todd and Richard further exceeded expectations by getting us serviced sooner than expected. They were friendly, quickly assessed the issue, and had us up and running again in no time at all. The customer service and assistance received was great! Id definitely recommend.***** Addendum - A week later, unfortunately they had to return and correct the fix again which was disappointing, but Sonny came out and got us up and going again. He was very helpful, fast, and friendly. They resolved everything very quickly so thats definitely a plus and without a fuss. Fingers crossed no further issues. Overall, still great service.

They did replace an outdoor unit, but some of the processes were bad. They bypassed the Home Warranty company to get the business themselves. Also the tech left wires hanging out of the unit, when asked he said it has conduit. So I had to fix it myself. Now time to go look at the indoor unit to make sure nothing is wrong with it.....

I SO LOVE AC Rescue. It is only February in TX but we had our little heat wave and the AC went out. I made an appointment and Eric and Daniel were at my house within three hours.Though there was an electrical issue we needed to hand over to electrician, they cleaned the unit--which was heavily caked with dust and dirt--even though they didnt have to, because it would have led to a catastrophic failure. Daniel explained what all was going on and they were very friendly and professional.When you live in TEXAS, AC is LIFE. The fact they made us a priority and got here so quickly to at least get us to the next step and the air at least circulating is HUGE.I will definitely request them in the future for any maintenance or repairs.We discovered them through American Home Shield but I would happily hire them independently for the value.

If I could do -5 starts, I would! This is the absolute worst company that Ive ever worked with! The technician left the pipe loose so we would purposefully have a leak and he unplugged our unit so we would be left without AC in 105 degree weather. I cant say enough.I was sent to them through a home warranty company. The first tech Corey said you just have to keep calling us, this is an issue that will keep happening. When the same issue happened again, Corey came out again and cleared the pipe and said the same thing, that itll just keep happening - its normal. The third time same issue - they sent a different tech - Daniel - he said a plumber has to be called to fix the pipe. I asked why I wasnt told this before? He said today is a new day and move on. I said Im sorry, but I had to pay again and if this was diagnosed properly, I wouldnt have to waste more money or have AC issues all summer. He said Im not fixing this then, Im leaving. He left the mess under the sink and left the attic open and ladder down. He also shut something off so the AC wont work. When I called the manager, Amanda, she refused to hear my side and said we wont work with you anymore! I called the home warranty company and complained and I will also call BBB to file a formal complaint. Ive never worked with a more incompetent and rude people in my life.

3/26/2024: Editing to say A/C Rescue was assigned my spring AC tune up and I already knew there were issues because my Nest kept saying there was a faulty wire. Richard was my technician and he went above and beyond to figure out my capacitator was going out. He had to go to Allen to get one and another part to fix the issue with Nest saying a faulty wire. He was also kind enough to grab a filter and replace it when I gave him cash. :) Thanks Richard!!!2023: American Home Shield assigned A/C Rescue to my seasonal heating tune up. JUST in time, I might add. I had already turned on the heat a couple days before. The technician, Sonny, found a huge gas leak in the system and patched it up for me. Thank God our A/C is working again! Its 100 degrees out today, typical Texas summer. A/C stopped a week ago so contacted our home warranty company AHS. Took them two days to find A/C Rescue as they had to go outside our service area after a disastrous time with another service provider. A/C Rescue called on us on a Friday and scheduled and sent Sonny, the service tech on Monday. Sonny was friendly, kind and very professional. In about 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem and had the part in his van. He replaced it and A/C began working perfectly. I had also called early on that morning and spoke to Scott about what time the tech would be here and he to was very helpful. Thank God for Richard! We’ve been dealing with ac issues the past 2 months! Home warranty kept sending out another company who obviously didn’t know what they were doing! This other repair had been out to our house 6 times, even replaced the outside unit & the problem still wasn’t fixed! This is a very knowledgeable man who shared tidbits of information with me regarding the AC units, types of filters and best use of the thermostats. OMG, Im sooo impressed about Kennys service. I wish I called Kenny the first time instead of Number 1 Air. What Number 1 Air guy quoted me for $480 plus $99 service fee that I paid out of pocket, Kenny took care of it in 20 minutes without any extra charge after paying the service call fee of $75 under my home warranty. Kenny gave updates about when he comes and showed up on time, whereas Number 1 Air they cancelled me last minute regardless of my appointment scheduled. Cory from A/C Rescue came to my house to fix my heating system that wasn’t working today. Before arriving he called to let me know that he was scheduled to come to the house for the repair giving me a 2 hour range of when he would be there. After asking if he could give me a call when he was on his way he did in a timely manner to ensure we would both be here. Cory was friendly, polite, and very informative on what he was intending to do. Upon inspecting the heating unit he quickly identified what the issue was and had a solution to fix problem right there. He quickly replaced the part in question and detailed everything he was doing to ensure full transparency about the problem. Upon asking him some questions about an airflow/design issue I have with my house and my master bedroom not getting the same temperature as the rest of the house he quickly provided 3 different potential solutions to remedy the issue. I would ask for a pry to come back to my house if and when the time needs and I get to use A/C rescue. It’s not often we get both skil,, knowledge and great great customer service but I did today. This is an amazing company . Last summer I had issues with my unit dripping water . AHS sent out the people in the green truck 4 times . Needless to say , my unit kept dripping water on the outside . It started getting cold so I didn’t bother with it anymore . I started turning my unit on in April and it started leaking water again . I called AHS and this time they sent out A/C rescue . If you have ANY kind of emergency and this is the company your home warranty connects you with, ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE. If there were a lower rating than 1 star, theyd deserve it. They dont call you ... youll always have to repeatedly call to schedule and check on things. And under no circumstances will they treat your issues as if it is of any importance. They wont research anything. They prefer to just sit there and do as little as possible it seems. And when you do find a way to connect with Amanda or Michelle, you can just sense the attitude.Unprofessional service at its best. We were referred to A/C Rescue by American Home Shield. Many contractors we have encountered through AHS, is mediocre at best, BUT, no A/C Rescue. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. From the first contact with Scott, their dispatcher, to Sean, who came to do the repair, we received super professional and courteous service. Let me start by saying that the technicians (Ivan & George) who came out to replace my compressor were very friendly and professional. I found out late that they were subcontracted and not actual employees of AC Rescue.This ENTIRE review is based on pay-first policy of the company and how UNPROFESSIONAL the manger (Justin Thomson--or, Thomas, IDK) reacted when I questioned him about it.The company was dispatched by American Home Shield (AHS) home warranty. After three weeks of going back and forth with those two entities (in mid-high 90s Texas heat), it was finally determined to replace the faulty compressor. When the tech came out to fix the issue, I told them I was paying by card and they said the office would contact me for payment. No problem.Five minutes later I got a call from the lady in the office asking for payment. I told her they hadnt even begun working yet and that their policy was to collect payment up front. Ridiculous. I told her I disagreed with that policy and she transferred my to Mr. Thomson. I repeated my disagreement to him and his response was, Well, I can pull them off the job if thats what you want. I dont need your money. I was flabergasted.After another minute or two of back and forth and him berating me, I gave him my credit card info as I could not bear the thought of restarting the process.I have never had a PROFESSIONAL company ask for payment of a service BEFORE the service was performed. Likewise, I have never had a PROFESSIONAL person threaten to pull people off a job and tell me he didnt need my money.My opinion is that they dont need YOUR money either. Find a truly professional business that appreciates your patronage and will treat you with respect instead of yelling and threatening you.

We had an issue with our A/C unit and we originally called another A/C Repair company wed seen a commercial for on TV and they showed up and said we needed a full unit replacement, we were looking at $15k-$20k in cost. Before spending that kind of money we wanted a second opinion, not only was Kenny from A/C Rescue prompt, polite, and professional but he inspected the unit, took multiple measurements of pressures and other things I dont fully understand, *and* explained to us why there is absolutely nothing wrong with the unit and it doesnt even need repair/maintenance, much less a full replacement. Our experience with AC Rescue was very good. The most impressive thing about them is their customer service. I called many times and Scott always answered the phone with courtesy and patience. I communicated with Amanda also, and she was also responsive and kind. She called me back the same day I left her a message. I have never had such a good experience with an AC company’s customer service. It feels like they care and are truly doing their best to get things done.The technicians (one was Francisco) were also great. Their appointment system is smooth and accurate. We had to wait awhile for a part to arrive so our AC was out for a few days, but the office was very communicative about the status of the part’s arrival whenever I called. A/C Rescue was sent out by my warranty company. The tech was super nice and helpful, but the tech is NOT a reflection of the two people that work in the office, the man who answers the phone and the manager. OMG! They are really rude! My warranty company had requested a explanation of the problem with my ac and was told they would send that day which was a Friday. On Monday at 5pm it still had not been sent. The warranty company reached out AGAIN for it and said they would send it. On Wednesday after 5pm it STILL WAS NOT SENT. I called to see what the told up was and they were defensive from the start. I was frustrated, but wouldnt you be frustrated when it was over a week without air in TEXAS 100 degree weather? The man was super rude and when I asked why it wasnt sent he said that since it was requested on Friday it was not 48 bushiness hours. I told him yes it was and he said well we havent worked 48 business hours! lol I have NEVER heard of such a thing! I guess he is young and doesnt know how 48 business hours works. I think at that time he knew he said something ridiculous and said I needed to speak to the manager. As soon as she got on she was defensive and proceeded to give excuses. By this time I was done and said just send that information to the warranty company since they have requested it and hung up. Well, she didnt like that I hung up and called me back to yell at me like I was a child. Will never have them work at my house again!

AC Rescue did make the AC run however after the repair it never performed as it had prior to the repairs. When I asked about the difference in cooling and how hot the house was after the repairs, AC Rescue sent a repair person who immediately became belligerent and seemed to want to provoke verbal conflict. Was given a time frame of 8-5 the day before. I ended up texting him at 4:30 to verify he was still coming. Showed up for 5 minutes well after 5 and said he would have to get approval from our warranty company because we needed alot of repairs. BUYER BEWARE: This company is a contractor through my home warranty. They have been out to our home 5 times in the past few years and two of those times within the past three weeks. My husband stayed by the phone all morning while we were displaced in a hotel for two days waiting for the repair guy to call. He gave a four hour window-my husband texted him several times asking for an update on time frame and asked to be contacted when he was within 20 mins of our home. the guy told him that he would be at our home within 10 mins. My husband told him that he was in route but would be there in 20 mins. The repair guy drove off just before 20 mins while my husband was telling him that he was in the Neighborhood. It did not make since for him to leave because there would have been a work window of time to do the work. The dispatcher informed me that he was on the call and that because my husband was 4 mins late that he could not service our home because my husband was late. Mind you temps have been in the 100’s in Texas and it was 90 degrees in the home. I spoke with the manager/dispatcher who was combative and unprofessional. Extremely passive aggressive when I asked him about the previous service visits and why the company had not submitted our previous diagnostic report from the appointment 3 weeks ago he became defensive. The company subsequently decided to leave my family in the heat and refused to provide service because my husband expressed his frustration with the driver leaving so swiftly and the company stating that servicing our home 5 times was not an concern, two times being within 3 weeks. Steer clear of this company. If you are up north there are better rated and more customer friendly brands that are actually care about there customers and families first. Avoid this company if you want quality service that will last. I asked several times to speak with a higher level manager and Justin stated that the owner agreed with the poor service and was unavailable because it’s family run. STEER CLEAR

I reported to AHS late on a Sunday night that my AC was no longer cooling. I was immediately assigned to AC Rescue. Scott called me Monday morning with the date (Wednesday) and time I was scheduled for the repair. Scott was also very helpful each of the next two days, keeping me posted re the possibility of an earlier appointment. On Wednesday at the appointed time, Valentin arrived. He had already contacted me twice to confirm his expected arrival time. Valentin turned out to be that perfect combo of friendly and professional. I explained what I knew about the problem, and Valentin went right to work, methodically testing to identify the source of the problem. In less than an hour, my AC was putting out cold air, and the interior temp was beginning to drop from 93 degrees. Valentin also told me some things I could do to help my compressor last even longer during this record-setting heat wave (July, 2022). Now I understand why American Home Shield partners with AC Rescue - they have employees like Valentin and Scott - theyre knowledgeable, courteous, and they do what they say theyll do.

Technician Kyle came out to check my ac unit that was making a loud noise and not cooling the upstairs part of my home. After being at my home for approximately 10-15 minutes nothing was resolved and the issues still remains unresolved. Kyle stated he put a part on my unit that didn’t resolve the issue so I thought maybe it was the wrong part he proceeded to get an attitude with me and hung up in my face after just asking a question. I talked to the manager who was very rude and unprofessional and proceeded to talk to me as if I was the AC professionals. All I wanted was clear answers and an understanding of what was going on and all I received was very unprofessional attitudes. Kyle stated he changed a part I would like to see receipts. I called my insurance company and was told the order was closed out after nothing was fixed or resolved.

Don’t expect them to do a good job the first time. the man who helped us this year vividly remembers coming to our home last year with the same problem. it’s taken more than a week to get a response from them only to have them tell us to be grateful we have one working unit…?i don’t know why they’re so sassy? if your home owners insurance refers you to them i HIGHLY recommend asking for someone else because the unprofessionalism is unreal. They’re cutting costs and putting that burden on their clients by having only one person be in charge of work orders…during the busiest season…make it make sense?

We recently had to have 1 of our AC units replaced. Once all of the inspections, diagnosis, agreements and parts ordered/received were processed through our Landmark Home Warranty, the AC was replaced and upstairs cooling again. This took around 3 weeks which was not the most pleasant in 100+ TX heat, but when waiting on multiple parties, managing schedules during holidays, it was what it was. Although there were some communication issues with front office, while trying to understand whos responsibility each step was assigned to, all of the technicians were prompt, courteous, patient, helped explain areas of concern and completed the job. About 1-2 wks after the new install, AC was not cooling again. Kenny came out and advised there was a small leak. most likely due to added pressure from the new higher capacity unit. After our discussions, we understood that Landmark Home Warranty would only pay for liquid line replacement IF it was determined it could not be repaired. In this case, the liquid line could be and was repaired, resulting in cool air. Kenny was very patient when I asked several questions as we wanted to understand what went wrong, how a leak could occur with a new unit and the limitations from Landmark. MANY THANKS TO KENNY for his attention to detail, quality repair, service and patience in helping the customer understand, we believe that all customers should have the opportunity to ask questions as it is the customer who has out of pocket expenses, even with home warranty coverage. Rob was great! We have been without AC on the 2nd Floor for a few days. Our capacitator needed to be replaced and Rob was able to quickly identify the problem. Daniel has worked on my AC unit several times. In April 2022 he installed a new HVAC system in my house. I am 100% satisfied with the job Daniel and his crew did. He is very professional but more importantly, he knows his business. He was very honest with me about what needed to be replaced. I thought my upstairs unit would also need replacing, but he informed me that it was not necessary. Most AC companies would have advised me to replace it, but Daniel was very honest. Suan and Chris were the techs assigned to our request. We had one AC unit down and the other one just not blowing cold enough to keep up with the hot temperature lately. They fixed the down unit and properly diagnosed the other. We had this unit looked at a couple of times in the past by other AC companies but they were never able to get to the root of the problem. We use American home shield for our warranty service. They contacted AC rescue Inc. for work on our central air/heat. They were out the very next day to repair our unit. The service technician Kenny was right on time and has us fixed up in less than 1 hr. Ivan and his team from AC rescue were nothing short of amazing the quality of work done on out air handlers was 10/10. My work prior to this was very shotty but it was before I moved in. The made EVERYTHING look good and immediately you can feel the air flow difference in our upstairs units. I havent been downstairs yet because construction is being done on the house and the doors are open. Oh and EQ started the whole process by telling us what could be fixed instead of just trying to sell us a completely different unit. This company is terrible. Do not use. Not only did they fail to accomplish the repair on the first service trip, they got angry with their customer when they were questioned why it was taking over a week to provide a quote. They also wanted to charge 200% over what the bill should’ve been. The manager was extremely rude, unhelpful and I will NEVER use AC Rescue Inc. again. It sounds like they don’t do a lot of their own work anyways - they sub a lot through third parties, so there is even less accountability. Avoid them at all costs.

AC went out, and I used a home warranty to Dispatch the AC rescue team. Kenny contacted me was very helpful and friendly. He even gave me a heads-up when he was on the way. Update: Several months after initial review, I had the same problem with my AC, indicating a coolant leak. Home warranty assigned this same contractor who sent someone out who said I needed a new air handler. Several days later they show up, disconnect the old air handler and then find out the home warranty company ordered the wrong one. So they put the old busted one back in the closet without re-connecting it and say the warranty company will order a new one.Well its been two weeks now and several calls and headaches later, no new air hander. They cancel my installation appointment today without telling me and when I call to find out why its because they have now decided to not work with my home warranty company anymore. Id just moved from NC to TX and shortly after one of our AC units stopped functioning.Kenny from A/C Rescue came out to help us with a down AC unit.1st and foremost this company (and Kenny in particular) was a well-run machine. They communicated at every step of the way, some by text message and then Kenny called when he was on his way out.When he arrived it was raining, like it does in TX, but Kenny was careful to not make a mess inside and threw on the booties for the floor. After returning from an out of town trip, I noticed my AC/Heater is not working. After placing the call on Christmas day, the office called morning of the 26th and scheduled the service repair first available appointment. When Richard/Valentin team complete the repairs, they really save the day. I would like to point out one outstanding quality of this team, after they replaced the capacitor, we thought the problem was fix. But the unit stop again after 10 minutes. It turn out that another part on the furnace also went bad and need replacement. If they would have left as soon as the heater start working, I would have place another call and schedule another visit. We recently had A/C Rescue come out to repair our Air Conditioning Unit. They called us in the morning to let us know about what time to expect someone. Another call came 45 minutes ahead of scheduled arrival. Mike Sanford and Todd Puckett both looked at our issue and explained what was the problem and what they would be doing to correct it. They completed the job leaving no mess along with what the problem was and what was done to correct it. Hi my name is Teressa and this morning I had a blowout on 635 freeway. I had a spare but my jack would not work. Ive called them out to my house many times and they try to make the cheapest fix possible and leave in a hurry. My house is 85 inside and has been for weeks and they dont care. Technician came out on the second visit and said try changing the filter and didnt check anything or run any tests. When I called back to voice my concerns they were pretty aggressive and hung up on me cause I wouldnt accept her answer of I dont know how to help. Would never recommend this company to anyone ever.

Our home warranty sent out a crew of two from A/C Rescue to do a routine pre-season check-up on our heating system. The two men that showed up were professional & quick about their business. Explained everything well and were in and out.One interesting thing is that my wife had asked one of them a question - he said hed check on it, and then my wife had to take a call, things happened, and they left before answering her original question. One of them called my cellphone about 15 minutes later (they just had my #) and gave the answer to my wifes question. Wouldve been easier to keep driving, but they took a sec to get back to us, which was really nice. We didnt get major work done, but Id take that kind of diligence as a good sign.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!! I had them out to my house about 2 weeks ago to check out what was going on with my unit. AHS sent them, so I took it for granted they were good to go. WRONG!!So, the tech came out and looked at my unit, and then came down, with pictures, and told me what was wrong with my unit (original issue was water coming out of the secondary drainpipe). He said it looked like it was improperly installed (just had a new air handler installed last year) and it had shifted, insulation was falling apart and that he couldn’t do anything because he needed two people. He was going to make his report and come back out to finish the call.After a few days of not hearing anything (from AHS or AC Rescue) I called AHS to see what was going on with my service call. AHS told me that I needed a new air handler (like $6500 for everything), I had a foundation shift and that is what caused the problem. I was like WTH are you talking about? That’s not what the tech said to me on the day he was here. Of course, she could only go by what the report said.So, I had someone come out to look at my foundation – nothing wrong with it. And I had another AC tech come out and he fixed the issue with the insulation. Well, looky there, my AC is working great now.So, these scammers either have a very LAZY, inept, or a thief for a tech (Hi Daniel!). Which one is it, AC Rescue?Oh, and before I forget - dont try to get this company to call you back, called 4 times and left messages twice - even AHS sent a query to them - >crickets

I have AHS and getting my HVAC work orders moved to another contractor. AC Rescue is an unethical company trying to milk warranty and exploit both AHS and me the customer. Several of agents and supervisor Michelle extremely rude condescending. Changed diagnosis from tech diagnosis on-site. Tried to upsell inferior low sear system to replace previous reps of compressor. Recommended replacement unit for pvc pipe issue. Also the warranty work they did for compressor open new ticket is work they previously did less than 90 days ago. New issue never diagnosed or dispatched. Will never have AC rescue on my property again. Very low ethics company. I will contact BBB and write up taking time write negative reviews of ACRescue.

Dishonest and scammy. They work closely with home warranties to try to screw homeowners. If they or home warranty have any chance of denying a claim they will. Then theyll provide an out of pocket estimate to the home warranty, in which wont apply to you. So the $800 estimate through home warranty, is now over $3000 to you the homeowner. Absolutely insane.Then what are your options? Get a 2nd opinion provided by another scammy AC place through home warranty, and pay another service fee(then go through same motions again)? Or go to another AC company all together, so now youre out the original service fee to your home warranty.Mind boggling that AC Rescue can have access to your account information through home warranty and use that information as being the sole reason for denying a claim.If home warranty schedules to send this company, tell them you want someone else. I know when youre going through a home warranty company, sometimes youre not worth their trouble, but wow, there was ZERO interest in even attempting to really help, when the could have. Not very professional about it either, in my opinion. They visited me as part of my Home warranty, technician told me that I have leakage due to bad damper motor which not covered under warranty so I paid them additional $400 to fix it however over the time i learned that this didnt fix the issue. when I call them back to check it out- they said damper motor has nothing to do with leakage. overall I feel ripped off and there no courtesy to at least checking it out. Quality of work lacks and how quickly they send someone out to help you is horrible. Taking care of my wife with dementia, 100 degrees outside, NO AC, and they couldn’t get someone out for 3 days! Zero stars….Had to use them via my home warranty. AC stopped running, tech came out on A Friday instead of their non working day Saturday. Cool so I thought. He just wanted to start his weekend. Told me I had a freon leak, he said he found it and fixed it. Added $500 worth of Freon 6 to 7 lbs and told me I was good to go. Well A few days later it went out again. 2nd Tech came out on Memorial Day/ his birthday. I thanked him but it was HOT in Dallas and getting triple digits. He check my attic unit and said it was the coils, they needed replaced. Really on a 3 ur old unit. WOW. He said no problem it’s covered under warranty. Great. Few days later….. I called asking what’s the status, had to wait. Wait on AC to send the request to warranty company then vice versa. Uggghhh called daily only to find out the part was on back order for 2 mos. The AC Rescue Part manager offered a discount on a new unit. That was odd. Quick to offer a discount due to the heat coming. LOL I called another company to come and BAM they found the leak inside the outside unit. Filled again with freon, the other AC company ran diagnostics to ensure they freaked the leak. I wasted estimated $500 with AC rescue and $100 on my warranty service call. This company refused to refund me. I would NOT use them. They say they fixed my leak then needed coils and none of that was needed. Triple digits hit Texas, if the other AC company didn’t come out, I would of been stuck in the home. Again NOT recommend.Note…The Office manager made sure I knew how they came out during a holiday and off time. 😂 Didn’t matter since they lied about fixing a leak and diagnose the wrong part replacement. She didn’t even know he came out early on a Friday so he could start his weekend early per the AC Rescue Tech. What kind of notes does this company keep that u don’t know when ur Techs are at customers home???DO NOT USE… scammers to get u to purchase equipment u don’t need.

A/C Rescue was assigned to us by American Home Sheild to repair our central air conditioning system that had stopped cooling. Matt and his assistant were punctual, professional, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. They inspected the systems outside unit as well as in the attic. They diagnosed the problem and had our air-conditioning up and running in record speed, all in the same day. There were no additional charges over our deductable which we already paid to AHS. We are extremely impressed with A/C Rescue, and we highly recommend this company.

AC rescue was on our home warranty plan. They came out to replace our coils for our inside unit. They ordered parts, came back out and while installing the new parts, discovered that they had ordered the wrong parts. They told us they would order correct parts and reschedule. Before they messed with our AC it was blowing cool air but was not able to stay at the temp on the thermostat. After they left we realized it was blowing hot air. My husband went in the attic and our unit was still torn apart - they did not but it back together and they had punctured a line causing all our Freon to escape. They left it worse than when they came in!!! When we called the next day, they said the job was too complicated and they were notifying our Home Warranty company to find someone else. Still waiting to talk to the owner. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My unit was not cooling so my home warranty AHS appointed them to me. The guy who did diagnosis was very professional but the company scams you with unnecessary charges. They were charging me $2300 out of pocket cost after what the home warranty was covering. They mentioned bunch of parts that had to be changed as part of code of conduct due to which i have to pay this amount. The only valid charge was to refill the refrigerant of ~$1000. Verified this from multiple AC repair companies and some very renowned, everyone denied that there no such thing as code of conduct. I got my system fixed from another highly reputed company(Berkeys) for $2100 without home warranty. After seeing so many negative reviews about them specially when they are appointed by home warranty, they seem very unprofessional.

Todd with AC Rescue did an excellent job. I hurried home to meet him from work. By the time I arrived a few minutes late, Todd had diagnosed the problem and was well underway resolving the issue (blown capacitor). Todd was very skillful, polite, and professional. He also noticed we were a little low on freon and added a few pounds to get the unit tuned up for the remaining days of the 100+ temps of August.

I got this company thru AHS. The guy came yesterday for tune-up maintenance. He said your unit is pretty new and I said we installed 8 month ago. I dont know before he leaves, he went outside and did something and after that is not working at all.So I guess messed it up so he can make some money.

Recently we had Daniel come out to our property and he has been extremely professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and proactive to keep the customer in mind. Cory was professional and personable while working on our HVAC. And, not to mention, he called saying he would be at our house within 26 minutes. Although, I didn’t believe it - he rang my doorbell 25 minutes after his call. Cory recognized the HVAC problem, explained it to me, then proceeded to resolve the issue.I recognize that all HVAC calls are not quick fixes. But, I do know who to call when and if I need a professional.

My Home Warranty company allows for a winter and summer tune/check up. They sent out Kenny from AC Rescue. There was no way to tell if the job was done because it wasnt hot out yet. But, a month later when it started getting hot, the upstairs was only cooling at 5 degrees above the intake temp. Apparently Kenny did not check the coolant. I called them and they told me I had to call my warranty company again. I dont really understand that. They were paid to do a job they didnt do correctly. It doesnt matter who paid them. I would avoid this company.

I called early in the morning and they got someone out the same day, It turned out that all we needed was a recharging of the system, thank goodness! They were able to do all the work in no time at all. The guy was very informative and told us what our options were and how much it would cost. There was no mess left behind and the price was much better than the last company we used. I would highly recommend A/C Rescue, Inc!

I had AC Rescue assigned to a ticket through my home warranty company. They sent Matt, who has been to our house before, and who I have no issue with. Hes professional and very capable, and Id hire him individually any time.Matt tried to blow out our drain line, and it was clogged. He determine that the pipe needed to be replaced, but given its location he needed to have an access cut into the wall. All reasonable. He left around 4pm I believe, and I immediately called a carpenter.The access was cut by noon the next day, and I called AC Rescue to come back out. They said I had to call the home warranty, so I did. Then the next morning (Wednesday) I asked if they were scheduled to come back out, and they said they wouldnt be able to get to me this week.So Im left with a hole in my wall, pipes and tools strewn about my attic, and two ACs that are out of commission because theyre both tied in to that drain line.As far as I can tell AC Rescue made no effort to A) reserve some time to come finish the job this week when I told them the access had been cut, or B) move the schedule around to make it happen this week. I find leaving this job in this condition to be extremely unprofessional.For these reasons, I cant recommend using AC Rescue in the future.

This is the company I request when I call my home warranty company for any problems with A/C. Because they keep you updated until person comes out in the time frame they say they will come. Kenny was out today and took care of problem in no time. Kenny was professional and efficient.
