We were so impressed with our new homebuilding process from DR Horton. Gene Carter was phenomenal at answering all our questions, texting us regular updates with pictures, and walking us through the 5 month process from beginning to end. It really helped make the first time home buying (and home building) process so easy and enjoyable. Everyone we talked to with DR Horton and DHI Title were an absolutely pleasure to work with. I highly recommend.

Mr. Gene was fantastic when it came to the home building process. He was always sending pictures when big updates or installs happened. He was very knowledgeable when a question would arise. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Gene to anybody that is looking for a house to buy.

Our first home experience was no where near as expected. Derrick was amazing to us but our problem was more with the quality of the build of the home. We were given a picture of how our was suppose to look like and once we did our orientation we noticed it wasnt exactly how we were told it would be. We had Jay who is the construction manager and right from the beginning when we mentioned our findings and concerns he said we either take it or leave it. We never had a chance to do a walk around the home before closing. So if you still have not gotten your home dont expect a walk around. Jay is the person who determines what is good in the house and what is not good. The new owners of the home have no saying in that. Just be aware of that if you have not done your closing yet. We have only been in the house for a month and we have already have had to make phone calls to get things fixed. Definately not the first home buying experience I was expecting.

My experience with D.R.Horton associates such as Paul Gage and Derrick Parker were exceptional. They greeted me and my realator with a warm welcome and I immediately became interested in what amenities they had to offer. When one person wasnt in the office to answer questions, I could always count on the other to return a text, call or email. They worked really well with keeping me educated and updated on new offers and package deals that were going at the time. I have to say that I did not expect the service that these two delivered. Almost 50% of my decision making on purchasing my home in Seagoville resulted from my interaction with Derrick and Paul. Professionalizm and kindness goes a long way.

This is actually a very good neighborhood with well spaced houses and manicured lawns. If you are looking for a safe and secure neighborhood far away from the madding crowd and yet close to the city, then this is it!! Houses start in the lower 300s. Just off 20 and close enough to the metroplex!! Ask for Jeff!Update5 stars for Interaction!

Only being a week but I would like more information on the HOA. Our sales person Mr. Paul was very nice, answered all our questions.He was always ready to help if we had any questions, when we call, he answers and he is not available to answer, he would text. His partner was also helpful whenever Mr Paul is out and we stopped by for questions. We really appreciate it

This is my very first home and its been a very frustrating experience! Been here less than 5 months and have had continuous problems with the A/C. The A/C company has come out not 1, but 4 times and keeps putting bandaids on the problem. Twice, its actually gone out on me! I was assured the problem was fixed the 4th go round, but I knew better.. Sure, Paul and Derrick in the office are nice gentlemen, but no one, not even the warranty dept, can seem to rectify my A/C problem. Here it is almost 2 am and my room is 80 degrees!! Im just waiting till the morning so I can call this so called company for an A/C Service repair company and go off. I can no longer be nice or passive about this! VERY frustrating!! And besides all this, Ive had to have multiple things fixed because it was poorly built or too fast rather. This was the worst first time buyer experience ever and wouldnt recommend anyone here!

I purchased a home from this company, and I have been trying for three days to get square footage and dimesions for the home, I am currently leaving and own. I have gotten nothing but the run around. Ultimately, I was given a number to the architect that was useless. He basically stated, that they own the rights to the dimensions and they cant give that out. Stay away from this company, they are useless.

Great community. Gene is the best sales rep to work with. In my experience he keeps buyers updated and is extremely professional and responsive

Dr Horton has beautiful homes dont get me wrong but when me and my husband was looking into buying a home we considered Dr Horton so we decided to look at this place in seagoville texas. The man Paul that is a sales man didnt even want to show me a model home what they looked like when i got there and there was a man before me when. I was there waiting and they was argueing with eachother this was enough in its self. THE SALES MAN MADE ME SO UPSET I WAS IN TEARS WHEN I LEFT AND I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO GO FOR DR HORTON.

Daughter moving into DRH Express Community soon. HORRIBLE TIME tracking down internet, phone other service providers etc. Spoke with neighbors streets over, THEY HAD THE SAME ISSUE -So close to DALLAS, too rural for quality basic services ? Apparently DRH was not up front in sharing ancillary service issues with buyers similar to how Highland and others did.

This community is beautiful!! What a great place to buy a home. I love working with Gene he’s the BEST always helping my clients with any questions.

Mr. Derrick was very helpful from the beginning to end! Im a little late with my review but I really enjoy my home and the neighborhood, very quiet and peaceful.

Just moved in to our new home, and Paul was very helpful and upfront about the building process, the only downside is we dont have internet and wont be able till next month other than that no complaints here.

The HOA management company. That manages Highland Meadows homeowners association. Is horrible they lie they steal and dont follow through with what theyre supposed to.

Gene Carter is fantastic. Be sure to ask for him!

My husband and I are looking forward to closing in May of 2023!

These express houses are useless, they bring a lot of problems and it is a hassle for them to come and fix it if it still has a warranty. As the year goes by they still have problems and that is already out of our pocket. According to these houses, they are built in a rush, which is why they are very poorly made. If you want to buy a new house quickly to avoid headaches in repairs, I think it is not an option. Thats exactly what happened to me.
