Horrible customer service!!!Can someone please contact me ASAP. Its been almost a 2.5 years and still things from the inspection report have not been taken care of.They stall and stall and stall till you give up following up. Good luck getting any timely responses! I have all email documents to prove it. Then they close the job without fixing the issue. The people whove done this are Richard Gore, Brad Johnson and many others because they have high attrition. They could care less of existing customers, once you buy the house and identify issues, oh well youre on your own!If you dont have time to take care of your customers and hire someone to fix these issues than I should expect a cashiers check from you so I can hire someone else to fix it.
Clean with many options to customize your home, L. T. was very helpful and knowledgeable
Watch out the shoddy workmanship! We own a three years old Grand Homes house. We are the second owner and the house was empty for sale for half a year hence the house was lived in for max of two years and half. Two days ago our kitchen sink just detached by itself. It appeared the undermount sink was merely glued onto the granite countertop. My next-door neighbor (same builder) had the exact same problem and GH sent a plumber to fix it who said it wasnt installed correctly and additional support was needed besides adhesive. I contacted GH warranty and was informed that the two year interior warranty had expired. Then I argued that it is not a wear and tear issue but an installation error. Later on a local warranty manager called me and told me the sink installation was up to standard by the COUNTERTOP company (not plumber) to only use adhesive. Furthermore he was not sure how the sink was used and maintained. (I dont think anybody ever lived in this house tried to bath a baby rhinoceros in the kitchen sink.) And finally he claimed only structural warranty is transferable from owners.I am absolutely astonished by the response I got from this manager person. As Grand Homes being a renowned builder, I am so disappointed that they do not take ownership of their building/installation problems instead trying their best to get out of them by treating their buyers like this.Since we moved into this home just over 6 months ago, we fixed a lot of issues from shoddy workmanship, such as light fixings/ bathroom fans not securely fixed on the roof and kitchen cabinet door not installed properly hence all the unevenness, also had the HVAC separation route valve replaced because the flap was zip-tied from installation hence the motor burned out trying to flip to divert the flow (that alone cost us almost $500). And yet we didnt claim these issue to GH. I am glad we didnt. I believe if we had been, we would be a lot more upset than today getting the ridiculous response from the warranty manager. Please Grand Homes, improve your workmanship since you already charge a premium to build so many homes in this booming market and at least try to do a decent job.
15 years ago, My husband and I built our first home in the surrounding Milwaukee area; That experience was ok---Ill just say: You cant change whats done, you cant go back in time. All you can do is learn from the mistakes.....Our greatest Lesson!! On the other hand, moving forward, were building again in the Texas area. With this in mind, All I can say is: Grand Homes, Grand Homes by far has been Simply AMAZING. The Quality of Homes, the Service and Experience that we have gotten from them has just been TOP NOTCH, especially from our first encounter with Mark Bramlett our Salesperson, to Elaine Holloway and Alexis Seck at the Design Center have ALL just been phenomenal. We cant wait to move into our Beautiful Home, I know it will be more than we could ever Imagine and/or Dreamed of when working with a Reputable Builder.
The previews held on Tuesdays made the process go a lot faster, because I pretty much knew what I wanted. Susan and Miss Elaine are the best ever. I am very pleased with my experience and the professionalism, knowledgeable and friendliness of the staff there.
Good work by the designer team to get it done
Limited options. Builder should be there to answer detailed questions. Examine being how mortar can stain or alter natural stone color
