Buyer Beware! End of Year Warranty not guaranteed! We purchased our home in July of 2023. We had some warranty issues that were repaired in a timely manner, so all was good. We noticed that the floating flooring was beginning to buckle. As the end of the 1st year warranty drew near I made a list of issues and sent if off to the warranty department to be addressed. The Warranty Person contacted us, arrived to address the issues and noticed that the floating flooring was buckling. With his shoes off, he verified movement. Stated that Centre Living Homes would honor the warranty after an inspection to determine what the proper course of action would be. He repaired the defective glides on the drawers that had come apart. Stating that the defective glides were not covered by the warranty. If the glides needed to be replaced, we would need to purchase new ones and have them installed. I thought this as strange because there was no heavy usage and the glides had come apart. Fortunately the glides are still working and the drawers close properly. Other items were repaired and addressed so all was well. The Warranty Person advised me that an Inspector from the Flooring Installer would be coming out to evaluate the flooring. The Inspector came out and verbally determined the problem with the flooring was a Manufacture problem. He would complete his report and forward it. A few days later I received a call from an Independent Inspector who stated that he had been hired by the Manufacturer to evaluate the flooring. Since I had not been notified about a second evaluation I advised the Independent Inspector that he would have to wait until I had spoken to the Warranty Person about the 2nd undisclosed evaluation. The Warranty Person was off on Personal Time Off but did eventually respond to my request for confirmation about the 2nd evaluation. I was advised that this was normal and authorized. I allowed the Independent Inspector to evaluate the flooring. The Independent Inspector verbally advised my son that there was no under layment below the floating floor. I later received a notification from the Warranty Person that because some of our chairs had casters on them that the damage to the flooring was caused by the caster and voided the warranty. I looked through the New Home Owners documents for the flooring warranty but could not find any information on the flooring. When my Realtor and I first contacted the Sales Person about buying our new house, we were advised the 1st Year Warranty would cover issues as long as we did not abuse or use Outside Contractors which would void the warranty. When we did our final walk through before purchase there had been NO MENTION OF NOT BEING ABLE TO USE CASTERS ON THE FLOORING! The flooring is buckling even where we do not use chairs with casters. We were advised to use the vent fans in the wet rooms, (bathrooms and laundry), to prevent mold and mildew build up. Which we have done. If you are going to buy a new home with a 1st year warranty, make sure you record any comments or statements made by the Sales Person, Home Builders Personnel, Warranty Persons or Installers so that there can be NO Denying what is and what is not covered by Warranty. We had thought we were on good terms with the Builders Personnel and were recommending the subdivision to others.NOT NOW! Definitely Not Worth the Money! We agree with the Other Reviewer, that commented about the low or poor quality materials that are used. We are already having to re-caulk because of cracking and re-paint the exterior because of peeling, (not covered by 1st year warranty). Based on the high price point of these homes, there should be no issues regarding 1st year warranty or material quality.
I had an amazing experience with Centre Living Homes. From start to finish, their customer service was exceptional. Every question or concern I had was addressed promptly and professionally, making the entire process stress-free. The quality of their work speaks for itself—our home is beautifully crafted, with great attention to detail. Its clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in the final product. I highly recommend Centre Living Homes to anyone looking for a reliable and quality-focused home builder. They truly care about their homeowners.
I purchased a Centre Living Home recently and have had an amazing experience. From the start of signing our contract to closing on our home, we were taken care of by the entire team. Great communication with great results. Warranty department is very attentive and quick to resolve any requests. The designs of our home are so beautiful! So thankful to have chosen Centre Living Homes as our builder.
Working with Logan was a breeze! The Centre Living homes are all beautiful but the one we picked was the one that met all of our checklist. We ran into some hiccups, but Logan worked with us in every way. We cannot thank him enough for all he has done for our family and to get us into our dream home. The warranty services are quick to respond! The entire team is awesome.
We had a great experience working with Centre Living Homes. We bought a new build townhome from them, and the process was smooth as glass from beginning to end. Kenley and team did a great job!
Will, CJ, and the extended team at Centre Living did a fantastic job with our new build home at Emory Park, in Trinity Groves (Dallas, TX). They were extremely communicative, responsive, and helpful during the building process - We could not be more happy with how amazing our new home turned out. I would highly recommend this team if youre looking to build in Dallas!
Homes from this builder are not meant to last. I live in a community where the builder constructed 20+ homes. Almost all of my neighbors have had some sort of issue. They were multiple garage door problems in this community. multiple issues where windows that needed to be replaced. I’ve never heard of new properties having so many breakdowns during and after the one year warranty. They use cheap caulking which deteriorated in less than two years but they only offer one year warranty for roof repairs. The vendors that they used for roofs are unresponsive. The vendors that they use for the flooring are also terrible. We’ve had multiple tiles replaced within the first year of owning the home just for more tiles to deteriorate during the second year. A customer buys a new build to have some sort of peace when it comes to repairs within the first 3 to 5 years of the home. If you purchase a home from Centre Living Homes, don’t expect to have that sort of peace. The warranty manager just cares about getting his one year review from the buyer once that’s complete don’t expect the same level of customer service. I would never recommend that a family member, friend or coworker purchase a property from this company.
I wouldnt recommend this builder. They arent very honest people, and lack empathy, any more other things. They lied about multiple things and more. There are plenty of other luxury builders that beat that hands down. Us not going with them was a blessing, we lost our earnest money with Centre Living, but gained a beautiful home with a WAY BETTER Builder instead. Do your research before going with them.
Bought a home from Centre Living Homes and couldnt be happier. Their team was great to work with and the house has been an absolute blessing for my wife and I.
My husband and I are very happy with our beautiful new home that was built by the first-rate developer/builder, Centre Living Homes. When we began shopping for a new home in DFW, we noticed a difference in the superior quality and high-end finishes offered by Centre Living Homes in comparison to other new construction homes in the area. Trevor Brickman and the entire team were knowledgeable, professional, transparent, and responsive throughout the entire process. We received timely updates about each step in the building process, which made the experience pleasant, stress-free, and exciting. Jenna is the ultimate design professional who guided us through the selection process to create the perfect transitional interior for our lifestyle. Spencer’s project management expertise and experience were instrumental in helping us close on our home within a reasonable time frame, despite the challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The partnership with Green Brick Mortgage was an added bonus because it made everything seamless, and we were offered an interest rate our own bank could not even beat! We were treated with respect, kindness, and professionalism by Trevor, Callie, and the Centre Living Homes team. We love our new home and would highly recommend Centre Living Homes to anyone who is looking for a high quality home and exceptional building experience.
It’s been a horrible experience all the way around. First off the house did not appraise right. It came in lower. The sales manager Richardson location Michael is super rude. He has no customer service. He’s about money. He doesn’t care about the person at all. The town homes look nice but thrown together. The process with builder has been horrible as well. The company really needs to evaluate themselves. I will never recommend this builder to no one. Run away!!!
Just here to inform prospective buyers. Unlike other larger builders, center living is asking for 3-4x the standard 1% in earnest money, and will offer no refund if your situation changes over the course of the building process. I would not recommend
Beautiful modern living with quality amenities. The employees are professional, informative and caring. I handled the financing for a buyer of one of their condos and it was a great experience working with Kenley LeBlanc from beginning to closing.
Great people to do business with 100% professional.
