DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR DEBT CONSOLIDATION... they are scammers. Worst experience ever, once they have your business they are good at taking the money out of your bank account every month, but they dont do their job, and when you call, they hardly ever answer and ignored you. I got sued by the credit card company, that they were supposed to negotiate. I sent these people all the paperwork about the lawsuit, and said they will handle it, they never did and got sued. The judgment was against me, as they failed to act. Not only it caused me emotional distress, but it affected my ability to get my contractors license. I negotiated with the card company and paid it in full, and these cons, had the audacity to still want to charge me $100.00 more monthly. I have been paying them for over three years, and they will never tell you when you will finish paying them. I spoke to a lawyer and said that if everybody would get together he can sue them in a class action lawsuit. Do not use them, unless you are willing to be stressed out and having a nervous breakdown..

From the very start, Maie, with Credit Associates, assured me that I would make it through this process of my debt free journey. She patiently listened to me share my story of everything that I had been through that led up to me becoming so deep in debt. I had so many questions even beyond the “frequently asked questions “ that I wanted to know and be reassured about. I will make it through this chapter of my life because of great companies like Credit Associates, and kind personable people like Maie. Thank you all for your commitment and hard work!

Things are working out slowly but I dont get why they keep asking for me to deposit more money than what we contracted. If I could do that I wouldnt need there help . Also want to know how much they are keeping for themselves each payment . And I have to be the one to follow up on every thing. Do not recommend seems like there definitely about there money but not about my debt

Paid over $260 per month for nothing. They still allowed the interest and late fees to accrue on my debt. Treated me like a worthless human for having debt. I ended up calling my creditors myself, getting a settlement and paid much less than if I had stayed with Credit Associates. They offer no money back guarantees. Do not waste your money.

I have had countless experiences of people taking advantage of my kindness and leaving me quote on quote, “out for dead”. Not with Credit Associates; I know it may be skeptical to people at first. Leaving people to wonder; can such a company really handle all the hassle and help me get out of debt? Yes! Absolutely!!! All I did was tell them everything that I was dealing with, laid out a plan to follow and then execute. They will even reach out to you bank/creditors and work out the negotiations. Most definitely recommend to anyone trying to get back on their feet.

I would not recommend Credit Associates because they do not tell you that your payment would be going to a third party. Youre paying all three of the companies. Its taking me longer than what I was told it would. Instead of two years its going to be three. Im not happy about it at all.

I am so happy with my results with you people.i have been saved from such desperate times.but I have never felt such heart felt care from anyone before,except my credit association. Credit Associates are life savers. I could not be more happy with them in making it possible to remove accounts, pay off accounts I cannot keep up with, etc. they are open about the process the whole way, and they explain it well. And that means something bc I’ve had a stroke.

Everything was good at first; now its been a year since the last negotiation was made and I cant seem to get a hold of anyone to find out whats going on! I have 2 cases left to be done and the amount owed has now gone up because of tacked on court fees because no one at this company is following up on anything! Im not sure how to get out since again I cant speak to anyone. Its ridiculous for a company that has such high ratings to just ghost me but still keep taking my money! Im not happy and recommend going with someone else, these people are a joke!UPDATE: After reaching out to me with another phone number to call in still experiencing the same hold music and an automated message every 10 seconds stating they are experiencing higher than usual call volume. Why are they always experiencing higher than usual calls all the time? Still not spoken to a single person and the response message on my post wasnt even signed by any one employee, just the company...

Absolutely worse customer service dept ever. Can not understand their broken English and they as well can not understand me. Tried to payoff my account and all I got was gibberish about how I owed x amount of payments. Asked for pay off amount and still could not get an answer. Asked for a supervisor and put on hold for 18 minutes only to be told I would get the same answer. What answer? You never could give it and only kept repeating how many payments left do better credit associated. I will post bad reviews until I get better customer service

Please be very careful and DO NOT choose to go with this company to get out of debt.They will tell you to stop paying your credit accounts and take years to negotiate and settle them. In the meantime your credit will be destroyed. “Live better. Debt free” is not an accurate slogan. My financial life was obliterated.They settle your accounts for lower balances. For example:Credit card balance: $3000They settle it for $1500But they take a settlement fee of $1000In reality only saving you $500(These numbers are just an example but their fees are relatively high)So for $500 savings they have destroyed your credit for years to come. I’ve been in the program for over 2 years and one of my accounts have yet to be settled and is constantly being reported to the bureaus.I do not recommend this. It has truly destroyed my life and I regret trusting them. They dont tell you about collecting fees when you sign up.

Credit Associates was very understanding, patient, and supportive during the entire process. Even after it took me 6+ months o call them back, they were understanding and nonjudgmental. I got a great deal and the stress relief of not having to worry about all the bills is life changing. I highly recommend them! Thanks!

They have been ok up until now!!! One of the accounts needed to be resolved ASAP to keep me out of court! I asked could it be paid in full through them and they said yes. I wish i had just handled it aside of them because I paid the amount they said i had to pay but they didnt pay the people. They spread it out through multiple accounts so they could get paid their success fees. So keep in mind if you pay any additional fees for the savings they will do what they want with it, and they will lie to get you to pay extra so that they can get their success fee! The more accounts they can settle the more success fees they can get which is about half of the money they say you are supposed to be saving! ie( account amount 1,769—offer 797—savings—629—success fee—343)If I would have called the account and settled myself, I really could have saved 972! I didnt think that far ahead! So just an FYI when considering using these people!

False information. I would never recommend this company.They take their funds before they pay the creditors .For example. I was advised over the course of the contact I would be paying to them a certain amount.Within 6months they first paid themselves over 85% of my deposits.I am sick to my stomach , I should have never signed a contract with the company , first do your homework.They collect first, then they start slowly paying your creditors.

Credit Associates. Wost of the worst. Instead of helping me with my credit, they ruined it. I had a 720 Score and now my score is in the 400s. athis company does not answer the phone, emails, Or letters. I was making my payments on time, the only thing is that I had a higher balance. this company mentioned that they would be helping me very fast. I started to make my payments to them on July, it is December; and they have not answered my phone call, they have not answered my emails, and they have not answer my letter. They have ruined my good credit.

I am debt free thanks to Credit Associates! They were by my side the entire process, which included picking up the phone, answering all of my questions, and even made a few adjustments on my payment plan. I would highly recommend this company.

Called Credit Associates in March 2024 and was told they will work with my debtors and settle my accounts for much less than I owe. They claimed the process would take three months, my credit history would take a dip, but then the numbers would rise when the accounts get changed to settled. Well, nine months later and only two accounts have settled and my credit score is totally destroyed. Every time I call to complain, they use it as an opportunity to squeeze more money from me each month. Please think twice before you fall for their lies.

I’m very satisfied in the way Credit Associates conducts business in general. I’m pleased how they are handling my debts. I highly recommend them! It has given me peace of mind!

Everything is going great so far they have been able to settle a couple of my debts so far and it’s only been 6 months.

They will steal your money, if you do not keep track of everything on a regular basis. Hard to make contact with customer service. I do not recommend their service. I ended up cancelling after only 2 accounts of less than $1000 were settled over a year, but I payed over $4000. Their excuse was fees, that did not show up in statements.

It has been very difficult to speak with someone about my credit card resolutions. I am still waiting to hear back from your Company about my chase card.Every time I call I cant get any answers. My friend is with a different credit card.Resolution in hers have been exemplary incommunicating and resolving her credit card debt. I am disappointed in credit associates , lack off business Resolution.

Do not use this company, they draw you in with false reviews and claims and once they have you locked in they let the accounts draw out so long the interest builds and you end up having to pay more monthly than was originally planned. They don’t let you know when they are going to take money out every month it just happens, not even an email warning which would be pretty simple to do. They give you false pre approvals for loans that you get denied for when you sign up. I go to their website and can’t even get into my account because they are too worried about reeling in new people, not actually helping.

Decent job with credit consolidation but the $500 referral bonus is nonexistent. I referred a friend in December and have called at least 8 times with no resolve. They worked my balances down quite a bit but nothing extraordinary. Glad to be done.

I wouldnt recommend getting this program they dont talk to your creditors until you have enough money saved to negotiate so if you have a big bill they will do nothing. Then you end up getting sued and the communication is horrible not once could i get ahold of my consultant left vm and everything. They dont do anything you cant do yourself i gave them 3 accounts and i ended up settling 2 by myself just talking to my creditors because CA took to long to contact in my opinion. Also the FEES they charge are RIDICULOUS almost 1k per settlement if not more! you should be ashamed charging that to people who come for financial help in the first place. All in all they dont do anything that you cant do yourself with no 1k fees i regret getting it.

I am not impressed right now. I have got a bunch of lawyers going after me now some of my credit cards havent even heard from you guys. I know I put at least $2,000 into my thing already. Ive heard nothing from you guys. Im not happy so maybe George should call me once in a great while

I just received a notice from a lawyer regarding one account that you haven’t even contacted To work on, while you have started paying on another account without even notifying me . Don’t Do it! It’s a SCAM!There was a sense of urgency in the representatives voice/tone which caused anxiety and confusion. I felt pressured to sign the documents and coerced into signing up for the program. More detailed information and explanation of the program would allow consumers to make an informed decision. This program is not for everyone and should be fully outlined to potential consumers. I recommend talking directly to your creditors about options for debt relief/consolidation, they have programs that will help WITHOUT ruining your score or forcing you into bankruptcy. Credit Associates is NOT the way!

At the present time, Im satisfied with the results, but I have a year remaining on my contract which is for two years, so far so good.

Ive already started making payments but none of my accounts have been resolved.. after reading all the reviews Im getting pretty worried because all my accounts are getting higher and higher and nothings getting paid and Im going into more and more debt and my credit score is going lower and lower and Im just watching it happen this is crazy 😧

So far I am very pleased with the program. Even though my credit score is tanking, I am confident it will climb back up. Reading the reviews, I am concerned about people saying they got sued by credit card companies for non payment. Thats the last thing I need right now. Hopefully, that will not happen..... Very happy with the progress that has been made. They are really knocking large amounts off of my credit card bills that I had handed off to them. One has been paid in full already. And three of four remaining account amounts have been lowered considerably. One thing everyone needs to realize is that your credit rating is going to take a hit at first. It will go back up and in the end it will all be worth it. From decades of to paying off my debts to 3 years and GONE! It is a no brainer! Beats the heck out of bankruptcy!

After I signed up and agreed to this - a friend told me there are other ways to have my debt consolidated without hurting my credit. Going this route - my credit score dropped 300 points. From someone who had a 820 score - was in a car accident and couldn’t work- who put everything on my card - to a 515 score - traumatizing. This is horrible. I can’t do ANYTHING credit wise - and it will be years before my credit is re-established.

I just called CreditAssociates 8/22/2024 for a Opt-Out Request. They said I am on the Do not contact list they dont give you a confirmation number or email, so I hope they no longer send anymore notices in the mail or phone calls. I am debt free and dont need their service. I will keep you updated if I received anymore notices.

While helpful at times. This service changes rules when it feels like it. Poor customer services/ long wait times on the phone. When the account owner gives authority to someone we have to keep going back and forth. I would never recommend them, when there are better options.

They lied about being to help with our daughters Discover Card and did not do anything to help. And I would not recommend them to anybody.

So thankful for the professionals that I have been dealing with. Quick to settle on my behalf and taking the stress out of the equation. Way to help people get out of debt!

The associates are kind and helpful. It seems as though you as the client are important. You are kept well informed as to whats going on.

This place has been nothing but a hassle and has caused me more problems then I had to begin with!Dont not and I repeat dont not use this company. They say they repesent you but in all reality they expect you to represent yourself and just give them money.I had 3 cards that I needed to pay off in 3 years set price 2 times a month. Well they didnt settle one of my accounts and now Im being sued. They are expecting me to do all the foot work so they dont charge me 1000 dollars a month for their mistake. I dont noe about anyone else but I dont have 1000 dollars a month just laying around or I probably wouldnt have needed them to help me just saying.I wish there was a negative star button.

After 18 months in the debt management program I have saved around $4000 on $20K of debt. The Credit Associates fees are over $5000 for the settlement of 3 accounts, so although the debt was settled for a favorable amount a large percentage goes back to Credit Associates. If I had to do it over, I would settle directly with the creditors. Credit Associates claims they have better success rates at settlement but is not necessarily true. The program does relieve the pressure of debt collections by streamlining the overwhelming process initially and did give me peace of mind so the cost for their services in my case is about $120 a month for the duration of the 42 month program to put it into perspective.

I have been trying to get in touch with this co. To no avail.Every time I mention to be canceled you put me on hold for hours.I hear declare my termination with CreditAssociates as of now. Nov. 23rd 2024 @ 2:56pm eastern time.

Credit Associates wait times on their customer help line is long or dropped. Their staff is helpful once you reach them. Its best to go directly to your lender. This company has fees that are, I believe, ridiculous. Now that Ive completed the program, and working along side my lender, there are much better options than this company.

I probably wouldnt use Credit Associates again in the future, but would go directly to the credit card company and negotiate with them. It would be a simpler and cheaper option.

I was a client with credit associates. My name is Harold Beverly I’m I sent them $14,000 and I have not received my money back I have canceled with them and I repeatedly have not answered my calls. They blocked my email and they will not send me my money I would not recommend their services they will steal your money.

I am so disappointed with this company they really did me dirty. I got a legal letter from one of my creditors, I called Credit Associates what I got in the mail and if I can fax it over due to having issues uploading. I called a few days later to make sure they received the fax, they assured me that Im in good hands, I asked if they could please take care of that account first because this is serious, and they said I have nothing to worry about. Well months later that same creditor took out over 2,000 out of my daughters savings account. When I called to ask why they didnt do what I requested they told me there was no notes and why didnt I fax it to the priority department. No one ever guided me to that department and now I owe money to my daughter, this company does not fully have your back and no communication. There is no trust with this company for sure.

I am still waiting for them to settle one card that I already paid until the last payment. Horrible service. I don’t want to give any stars. When I call customer service to cancel the service, they don’t pickup my calls.

Very nice and helpful for 3 years. I fulfilled my promise. Paid all, until my goal was satisfied. But, now they still want more payments.

I sure don’t know been so sick on my end just wish I could turn back time and never made stupid moves and get hacked to be where I am today little by little hope I made the right move

This company is a total waist of time, and money. If you care about your credit do not work with this company. All they do is promise, while you are making your accounts go delinquent, score decreases, and they are collecting funds from you. Then nothing happens. When I requested to opt out and cancel account they failed to notify the bank collecting funds of my request to cancel. Had I not called that 3rd party bank they use to withdraw funds from customers I would have not received my money back because they still showed my account opened after I had cancelled 4 days ago.

It was my first experience with this company recently, and their professionalism was beyond wonderful.

DO NOT SIGN UP AT ALL. Unfortunately for me I didn’t read these reviews before signing their main agreement (I did not sign the finalized paperwork) my associate sent me. They offered me a very low rate compared to what I’m paying currently so it was very attractive obviously. So what I found out when speaking to chase bank, which is the main bank I owe money. I found out that they offer a credit solution from their own list of third parties that are very reputable. Long story short I canceled with credit solutions after already providing my bank information. I did not expect him to still take the money out of my account. I ended up having to spend the majority of my morning on the phone trying to get that reversed. The numbers that multiple people at credit associates provided to me ended up being dead numbers that dropped the call after dialing. When I did end up, looking up global holdings and attempting to call them directly to get my payment to them reversed. The only option that actually dialed a number for help was the number of I was a new credit solution company.. kinda odd if you ask me.. DO NOT SIGN UP. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY EVEN IF YOU CANCEL AND DON’T SIGN THE FINAL AGREEMENT!! SCAM SCAM SCAM

Wonderful experience so far. Knowledgeable staff and savvy negotiators. I can’t wait to be debt free in like 30 something months compared with the 25 years I was looking at if I paid my minimums. Thanks again!

They are very unresponsive and Ive been waiting on hold for more than 2 hours. Horrific.

I have been trying every month to be able to use the app and website. There is some problem and I cant log on so I have no idea whats going on with my account. I call every month and each time get a different person that says somebody else is going to get back to me and get it figured out, but it never happens. Im not happy.

I am rewriting my review as my first review was not so nice.While I do feel like initially their fees are outrageous and I would be better off negotiating on my own, buI did call the number regarding my review that they asked me to call. I reached an associate that genuinely cared about what I had to say and that they would look into my situation regarding what had been said on the initial call when I first signed up. It looks like they knocked off a good chunk for me to have to pay in order to make things right because things did not go how I expected them to go and they took some responsibility for their part.My only advice is to just be extremely clear and ask exactly what the fee percentages are going to be, and know that the initial quote they give you is just an estimate because there will be more fees than the initial estimate that they give you of what you are going to have to pay. Overall, It can be a very helpful service but do your due diligence. Its not free!

I had a 100% payment history before I got with Credit Associates however I was only making my minimum payments and new I would never get out of the hole I was in. Living paycheck to paycheck I saw no other alternative. My credit score did go down initially but it has been steadily Rising since they have been working with my creditors and they have done an excellent job taking care of everything for me and I was very happy with how fast my credit scores been going back up and the resolution of my debts. I would definitely recommend them before bankruptcy or having to deal with the creditors themselves who are way too aggressive. The people at Credit Associates are very understanding patient and work with you to get the best results.

I was worried in the beginning that this wasnt legit and Id end up roped in a scam. I had nearly $17K in debit and CA had it brought down to $13K which I was able to make monthly payments over the last 5 years and can now say I am officially debt free! 🥳🥳

Credit Associates is really great! They have literally assisted me in being able to pay off my debts and rebuild my credit. Very professional and have delivered on their promise to negotiate the best deal in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Credit associates to anyone interested in working on cleaning up their credit card debts.

The first time, they were great. They contacted all creditors and got a reduction in my debt really fast. Then this year I added a few mire and they get their money every month, but they have not contacted my creditors. I dont know if they are working for me or them. I am being harassed by my latest creditors.This is my second review. The man I spoke with was nice. But he talked to me like I was a dummy and did not know how creditors were. I worked in business until I had a stroke and cant work. If he does what I asked (an email copy of contact letters to my latest creditors) then I will be more satisfied with Credit Associates. As of this time, I am considering contacting another debt resolution company.

The Credit Associates team has been amazing. From the very first time I called them, to info about my most recent debt relief offer. Theyve always kept me included on what is going on and I feel like Im in great hands.

I have had positive results so far. At least one of my debts has been settled and 3 more are in progress. The largest has had no progress so far, but I have only been your client for about 6 months so I feel this is good progress. I am on social security as my only income so this is extremely helpful. I really feel this was a good way for me to go.

UPDATE- after filing bankruptcy I learned that credit associates didn’t pay off ANY cards. They collected over 3,400 and didn’t pay off any cards.BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!2 years in this program and I only got 2 cards paid off with balances of about 1-2k each .. they charge you 25% of the balance before they settle and when cancelling due to the time it was taking they said I owe them $1,600 still for success fees. BEWARE!!!!! Do NOT fall for this too.

Ive just begun my program. 3 months to be exact. Theyve done more for me than the other one did in 8 months. I had a bad feeling about the first one. Should have listened to my gut. But if I had, it might not have brought me here

When I signed up, the employee that made the contract verbally explained that I would pay no more than a certain amount of money. As the program went on, I made large extra payments to ensure the program would end more quickly. On my last account to settle, the company wanted to charge me a fee that brought me much higher than verbally promised on the phone. When contacted about the inconsistencies, every employee pointed to the fact that I signed their contract. The problem with this is that this is a predatory tactic, as they were intentionally deceitful about the total I would pay. I would not recommend. They also threatened to default all my money towards another account when I requested to withdraw from the program. This is a predatory company, masquerading as a relief service.

Making me pay 445 a month and i cant even afford food. Asked them once to make a 200 payment after they had 2k from me, so i had money to feed my daughter because i was short this month and the called me back 4 days later to ask me to add 245 to my 445 next month payment. Nah bruh. They arent helping me. Id shoulda just gave 50 a month to a different collector like i am from another large debt or dodged them complelty until i had it in full. Dont go through these companies, there a middle man. Deal with the company you owe. Its easier they do not hold to promises they make!!! I might cancel them and start over through the card company

Do not waste your time and money. They dont do as it promise. My father was dealing with them more than 3 years. They collecting money and you will never get refund or full settlement. Never recommend for even a enemy. Please think before go for it.

They claimed for over a year that they had relationships with all the creditors and the one they were most confident in was their relationship with American Express yet it was Amex that ended up sueing me and taking me to court. Had to file chapter 7 because of how bad it got. They dont pay your debt in lump sum but monthly payments, even if you accept a settlement offer. They sure didnt tell me that. Then when I filed for chapter 7, I had over 4400 left in my account there to be returned and they only said theyll refund half since the other is going towards your accepted settlements and that 2k has already been spent on paying the settlement off if that amount has already been spent, why arent you giving me my full amount back? Do they not understand chapter 7? Naturally they refuse to reply in email after I called it out. Been over a week since last reply while it took only 1-2 days to respond initially. Doubt Ill be getting my money back.

My experience with Credit Associates was nothing but positive. Great team of individuals who always treated you with respect. They did their part to help me improve my credit score and get me out of debt. My credit score is now a number that I am very proud of. Thank you Credit Associates for being there.

I am super thankful my debt has finally been taken care of. I do wish CreditAssociates had better explained the process with me. After two years and over $7,000 saved, I ended up with a court summons that I was being sued before actions were finally taken to settle my debt. When I tried to get an explanation and guidance to what I needed to do, I struggled to get anyone to talk to me about the problem. I never had any bad experiences with anyone I had talked to until that day. I was in panic mode. I have never been sued before and that day I received not so much caring attitudes towards the situation. They treated me more like I was not important at all. It was very frustrating for me.Also, they never explain how much their cut is going to be until everything was settled so I ended up paying the amount I owed in total so it didn’t really save me much any money at all. My credit has finally went back up after two years but I wish the process would’ve been explained from the beginning. I honestly feel like it would have been easier to get a loan myself from the beginning. I feel like it would have been less stressful.

⛔️Warning⛔️ Do not fall into their trap. I had 2 credit cards. Bank of America and discover. I have like $27k debt from both cards. This company keep calling me to go with them. So I enrolled with them a settlement of $17300 instead of paying $27k debt. They told me they will handle everything with Bank of America and discover. They told me to pay $437 every month for the settlement and stop paying to Bank of America and discover. They told me the settlement will never go more than $17300, may be even less than that and after 6 months my credit score will go up. But after 6 months Bank of America sent me a letter to receive the debt and if they don’t receive they will put a law suit against me. So I called credit associates right away. They said don’t worry about it, we will handle it. So I ignored, but after 2 months of that letter, I received a law suit summons paper. Bank of America sued me. Now credit associates are saying I have to pay Bank of America $18000. I asked them but you guys enrolled me in a program of $17300 for both cards now you’re saying different way. They said you should read the agreement. They can not do anything because I have a law suit. They just lie. Please do not listen their sweet talking. I will never ever recommend any of my friends and family.

Very disappointed. I have no idea if any of the bills you took over have been at least paid down. I do know that your payment comes out every month. I’ve called your company sent papers and never a responds. You send links but they won’t let me on the site so as it stands now I would not recommend your company. Your follow up is nonexistent. In the beginning I was so confident I chose the right company now not so sure. Rating would be a one star

They havent done Anything!!!! Weve paid them $3500. What is the money paid in for since we havent received ANY SERVICES!!!!

Opinions differ on my accounts. One settled for half with a 20% fee added. Thats not bad. However I received a settlement letter on a account I owed 12,800 on. I sent it in. CA settled it for 9,900 and charged me a fee of $2600. Not exactly a good settlement when I could have done that myself.

This was an interesting experience. I appreciate the team when I first started. After a while I kind of felt like they forgot about me. I had one open account that I ended up negotiating myself (which was a very bad idea), but it stayed in my account for over a year until I recently finished. I was kind of disappointed that nobody ever actively was working on that account. Overall though I finished and I’m proud that I did it! I do appreciate the help in the first year from everyone. Credit associates staff members were wonderful to work with. They put my mind at ease right away and help me with a plan that I could easily live with. I would never have expected it to be like this, and I would recommend them to anyone.

My journey with credit associates started off fine, I had a very helpful and friendly specialist that helped me settle one of my 5 accounts in a timely and efficient manner, saving me some money. However as things continued, they got worse. I was served court papers from one of the creditors and I notified credit associates immediately. I was under the impression that they were going to handle this but there was a lot of miscommunication which resulted in me being taken to court and having to pay a lot more to one of my creditors than what I even owed, due to fees and interest. There was nothing I could do and ended up paying around $4000 more than what I initially owed, resulting in my pay getting garnished. So while credit associates may be helpful in some aspects, they were lacking in other areas. There really was no benefit to being in this program as I could have negotiated with my creditors on my own. I would advise anyone who thinks about getting involved to read the fine print first and talk to your creditors yourself versus paying credit associates to negotiate what you could do on your own.

Wonderful company! Helped me figure out a way to get outta debt without bankruptcy! And everyone Ive talked to has been super helpful and I dont feel rushed when talking to them.

Things are getting better, especially communication. Every time I called I learned more about the system and how things work. The last agent took the time to explain in some details and covered the entire process. I hope I can apply some of the strategies she presented to me and get on with my life!

Credit Associates did what they promised, they negotiated with my creditors, got my debt reduced, and they got me out of my debts in two years and I saved hundreds of dollars. Credit Associates have been wonderful to work with. Dale Carone was very patient explaining every step of the process, and the first credit card negotiated reduction in balance was impressive. I would highly recommend them. You will get peace of mind almost immediately.

My representative was very precise and well spoken. He called me before contacting the bank representative to give me some tips as to what information they would be asking me about. The all took 16 min about just like he had informed me about. Very happy with the outcome.

They always keep me updated and now I have finished the program and even got some refunds. I was just a little confused about the settlement amount and other charges that they add up to it. Anyway, at the end of the day I am now free of that big financial obligations 3 years ago. Had I not enrolled in their program I am still in debt with huge interests from various credit card companies up to this day. Thank you Credit Associates.

I havent seen anything yet but my money coming from my account. Did you all actually contact my creditors on my behalf?. I called you all and asked for a list of creditors thats on my account and was told they would have to mail it to me within 4 days. This was probably in August 1023. I have not received ot yet. Im considering g canceling if I dont hear something soon.

Long but worth the read I promise you! BEWARE ! I went to them back in October of 2022. The sold me on keeping my security for me and my kids--I am a single mother with 2 minor children - I watched as my savings was depleting over a year time trying to keep up with everything rising around us and was starting to go in the red. I was current but paying late. Responded to their mailing. Signed up and they told me to stop paying. WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE!!! They preach they reach out to your creditors---no--they send a letter to them. They settled one of my accounts--2 I was paying on ---2 went legal---they didnt reach out these accounts at all! One they had over 9 months before it went legal! the other--over year! I trusted them! I had to fight with Credit Associates and talk to multiple managers before they would even contact the lawyers on the second account to see if they could settle the account after one judgement was already placed against me on a different account. The first one resulted in wage garnishment! Now I am at risk of losing everything due to judgments against me. The lawyers were more helpful than credit Associates! They do not live up to the money back guarantee they advertise---After the second judgment I called immediately after court and cancelled with them. Was told it would be up to 10 business days to get my money I put in the account back---after 8 days--emailed and they had not even issued my money to be returned to me! BEWARE!!!! They are not what they seem!

The employees are awesome, easy to talk to and they are super friendly.

As the Discover lawsuit has given me so much stress and I had this credit card enrolled in my CreditAssociates program before I got sued I have no choice but to lower my rating. I was reassured they were calling my buff when Discover threatened to sue me. Well guess what I got sued and my savings with the program weren’t that great either. I’m devastated that everyone that searches me online will know I’m sued and CreditAssociattes did nothing to prevent it. Their only solution didn’t work for me so I took Discover out of the program. Please find another way out of your debt as their fees are enormous and they will not stop you from getting sued. Nothing they say will make any of what they did to me right. Gurstel is charging me interest in my balance everyday and CreditAssociates did nothing to prevent this. I have sleepiness nights because of my situation which CreditAssociates promised to help. I’m sure they sleep well at night though.Update: As I’m learning more about the company I have more to say. CreditAssociates will not contact credit card companies until you have money saved up which can lead to you being sued which happened to me. Unless you have a lot of money for the draft and are willing to make extra payments I can’t recommend.Yet another update: stay clear of these people they will do whatever it takes to make a quick buck. I was told by an associate that I still owed another month despite his past reassurance that I would be done with the program in April. He said I still owed success fees when in the pdf they email it said I payed all their fees. He eventually had to backtrack and said I was right but not after causing me a lot of grief. I’m not debt free I still have to pay Gurstel who Discover used to sue me when CreditAssociates refused to help me settle. I’m happy to be free of this company though. After doing the math they charged me about 27 percent so my savings weren’t that great either. Do as you may with this info but if you are broke and can only afford the draft I wouldn’t recommend. They will want more eventually anyways.

They take too long. I have been waiting 10 months to get my settlement on 3 creditors. I believe the wait time is ridiculous

My research indicated that its a reputable business, and setting up my account was not difficult. I find the customer service reps to be helpful and well informed.It took a few months to start seeing results, but so far the program is working as described. My credit score is gradually improving, and Im hopeful that my quality of life in retirement will be significantly improved. If at the end of four years I am indeed debt free, Ill be a huge relief.

To damn expensive. I saved more contacting a business rather than wait for this company to do GOOD work. Overall only saved me about 5%. They took more for the service than total savings. I do not recommend.

I was very suspicious. I dont generally like global companies, large finance companies, big corporations ... But they have done everything they promised for me. They have been responsive when I needed something more. I have always been able to reach a live human to get a question answered. My credit is being improved. Im very satisfied.

I had went with credit associates because upon talking to my initial rep it seemed like it would benefit me. It did not. I understand I would not pay interest, but my amount I am settling for is actually more than I enrolled with. Plus they threw on another fee that wasnt very transparent from the beginning tacking on another $1500. I have been trying to settle for 3 months now and the value keeps going up due to lack on communication from Credit Associates. I would not recommend anyone using them.

Well initially the plan was really promising and we where able to negotiate good payments, however because we canceled one of the credit accounts Credit Associates where not able to recalculate total settlement amount and communicate that honestly in a timely manner.Update: I called them and got to a supervisor. He recalculated the program and everything worked out as it should, thank you.

Im grateful for the assistance that Credit Associates are giving me in easing my financial worries and still taking care of my creditors. I was concerned that I was not going to be able being to able to pay back my creditors and dishonoring my commitment to them. Credit Associates is giving me an opportunity to pay back my creditors in a way that can be a win-win situation for both of us. Sometimes in life there are unexpected situations that we have no control over which may cause an overwhelming stress on our financial capabilities, which has happened to me. As I have mentioned, Credit Associates is helping me to stay honorable to my creditors and not having to completely default on my debts, which I am grateful.

I do not appreciate being lied to. I called and requested a total payoff so I had NO more payments left. I was told a different amount both times. Then after paying the $8,500 ($1,800 more than the First Lady I talked to) was contacted and told my payments would start back the following month. I was told I hadn’t been given the correct total AGAIN! I have already paid OVER what I was total I would need to pay to pay everything off including an account I removed from the program. I am very unsatisfied with this service. I could have done the same thing they are doing but without the 25% commission they charge.

The representatives of Credit associates have the greatest customer service skills. Upon deciding to take the initiative of been a client who need help getting rid of some high rated credit cards. I called Credit Associates after comparing with other debt relief consolidation companies and study where will ask for help with my concerns. Immediately on my first call a professional on the phone courteously talk to me and directed my call to Mr Ryan Williams who is so warm and helpful . I am still waiting for them settle my debts with creditors. I thought it would be quicker that they would get in touch with creditors. They are taking payments but creditors are still contacting me and when I look on app. It shows no debts settled. The guy on phone I talked to made it sound like they can settle my debt quickly. Interest payments and late fees are still being tacked on my balance.

I like that my debt is combined into one manageable payment. I dont like that the program was not properly explained to me when I enrolled. If I knew how it worked I would not have enrolled but now that I have missed multiple payments under their advisement I am stuck with them. Make sure that you fully understand how the program works before you sign up. My credit has taken a huge drop and I am not sure it will recover to where it was before I was with credit associates because now I have seriously delinquencies on my account due to missing the payments. Credit associates will not even try to negotiate the accounts until you have already paid them the amount so the accounts sit in limbo.

I had been trying to get relief from my maxed out credit cards and nobody would help me until I get a letter in the mail from Credit Associates. It was the best thing thats happened to me in a long time. They have been working for me ever since I joined their team. CA is knocking down my debt in half just like they said they would. They update me whenever negotiations are in progress. I just love the fact that they are working hard to get my credit card balances reduced to help me get out of debt faster. Was given the wrong amount for my settlement. I ask was the fees included in the amount I was told, the rep said yes. A few days later I check the app and the fees were not included. So $2000 plus dollars was added to the amount I was told. I called about and was told nothing could be done, so I called again and was told that $500 would be removed from my amount. Called back a week later because it wasn’t done, spoke to the same person who put in for the removal and was told oh I just got approved. I checked my app and still didn’t see and difference, so I called again and asked for the same person. I was told they were busy and we’ll call me back. Called the next day and same answer. Been waiting for a callback for 2 months now.

Communication is terrible! All the female representatives have been very rude and antagonistic. Nothing is done on my account for ten months of the year. I received a court order because they failed to complete negotiations with a collection agency. Most times I call, sounds like I woke someone up. The last rep, Brandy, had loud rap music in the background. Just doesnt feel like a reputable or professional company. Would definitely not recommend.

Would never reccomend this company for anyone. They said would be 36 months to consolidate and pay off my debit, 5yrs later, court fees,liens,tons of stress. Finally said Im out youve actually made my debt worse. Original debt was 7000 by the time the finished messing around an additional 3000 in interest and court fees was added on so I saved nothing and paid credit associates to do this too me.NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have really enjoyed working with Credit Associates! I did feel they understood the process well but I did not feel they tried aggressively to lower my debt. I fully accept that is my problem bud was looking for an aggressive company and this seemed more like consolidation. None the less it is nice to have everything in one spot!

Nice to know that there is truly an ending date to my bills. I had no hope of the never ending interest added to my bills every month. The bills kept growing so my payments were just throwing my money away monthly and never making any progress to paying off my accounts. This is the only way to gain ground without bankruptcy and seeing an ending date to be free of it all. Thanks you guys!

Really disgusting the amount of lies this company spews. The offer letter says federally regulated program. They obviously have bots or something on Google reviews and trust pilot. If you go to the BBB website and read the complaints youll learn their scam. They should be shut down for fraud.

Im not exactly sure what my experience has been. I know that they have settled 2 of my credit card problems with one to go. As long as you make your monthly payments you dont have to do anything including answering the phone for creditors. Ive been in the program for about 2 years or so and have not worried about my credit problem one time when before I started credit associates thats all I ever thought about.

Credit Assoc literally saved my piece of mind; I was drowning in debt. I wanted to do the right thing and pay my creditors, but how to do this? Saw CredAssoc ad. After my first phone call I was able to see the light of day. Professional help was available immediately and I could sleep again! Kudos to the best company ever !

At first things were a little rocky , but the process started. Now things are looking towards the better . Credit Associates works a little different than others Ive tried . But I truly believe Ill get the same satisfaction in the end of program. 🙂

Great service and the customer service is very friendly and knowledgeable

I entered into this contract because I applied for a loan to consolidate my credit cards and was redirected to Credit Associates. This was the worst decision I could have made. I was asked how much I could pay a month and how long I wanted the contract to last. Since then I have been asked many times to up my payment and my contact is past the time I wanted to pay. I have been served a summons to small claims court because my representative did not notify Capital One I was under Credit Associates. She also would not answer any emails, call or texts I sent after I received summons. I ended up paying Capital One more than I would have if this had been settled earlier. They also do not tell you that when you settle a case, you get a 1099C for the amount discounted and you have to pay taxes on that as income. The final thing is the fees our outrageous. I asked several times and no one told me how much the fees were. I have paid almost as much in fees as the amount discounted. Unless you have NO OTHER RECOURSE, DO NOT USE Credit Associates.

Some staff seem like their not clear on some questions Ive needed answers to when some have.Such as when creditors start sending threatening letters of judgement. I was told to notify you all and send the letter and another staff said dont worry about it until they try and go beyond the threats.Which one is it. Do I notify you all or not?This is a very important question.Hope to receive a speedy response.Thank you

After having had very bad experiences specifically with American Express with increasing interest rates and cutting lines of credit for no reason I decided it was time to get rid of them I called credit associates and 3 years later I am done with all my credit cards I am very pleased with the results and the promises that were made by credit associates to me. They were in constant contact and if I needed any questions answered there was always somebody right away on the phone to talk to me and explain any questions that I had they were just fantastic and I would absolutely recommend anybody that has debt problems to call credit associates because they will help.

If I could leave negative stars I would. This company drove me to bankruptcy. Isigned up with them to consolidate 3 credit cards. I was told to stop paying my credit card companies and pay them and they would negotiate for me. Until a year later one of the credit card companies sued me. I reached out to credit associates and they were like basically nothing we can do, but we can connect you with our sister org New Credit America and they can provide a loan to pay them off. The interest rate was really high and they couldnt negotiate the debt reduction that was pitched to me in the beginning, so I basically blew up my credit, lost access to credit, and ended up with higher monthly payments and ended up in debt to a 3rd party. Would have been bad enough if my story ended there, but no credit associates dropped the credit card company that was suing me from my program. So I took out a loan for the full amount of all my debt from New Credit America, but Credit Associates claimed I dropped the one account from my program even though I took out a loan for the total amount owed for all 3 cards. They didnt notify me they just never sent the money to my credit card company. So i was making my monthly payments, seeing my credit improve until one day I see my account is in the negative, because that credit card company got the legal right to take however much money they wanted whenever they wanted, so now as I write this, I have no money for food, gas, or bills and I have to go see an attorney on how to file bankruptcy. I have missed days of work, and connecting with this company has been nothing but a negative impact on my life. I was trying to avoid bankruptcy and repair my credit, and I almost made it, until they just didnt send the money that was owed and was there to be delivered. On top of that I had 3k in a savings account with them. One rep said it would be refunded another rep said it was applied to my balance and sent to New Credit America, but New Credit America said they never received it. Everytime I mention this missing 3k they get weird, sketchy, and outright rude. They lucky they left me too broke to sue them Horrible vile organization run run run away from them.

I was told that my score couldnt get any lower than they already were yet in the past month my credit score plummeted over 100 points! Then a generated response to my review asking to reach out to them, in which Ive tried. It wasnt so hard when you reached out to me in the beginning so why now? All my creditors were being paid on time, I just had a lot of debt. Im getting call after call from those creditors and they know nothing. Which means no one has attempted to counsel my debt, just take my monthly payments!

Very kind and easy to work with, on ones debt free journey. A much lower payment monthly and incredible customer service.

Above and beyond my expectations! Only feedback I would give is make sure the follow up calls are made in a timely manner when sending in an email from the question page. I had to continue to follow up myself as I was not receiving any response, but overall hands down one of the best.

I feel like its a wonderful program that helps out in a big way . Im glad that I was able to join the program.

I am a current client with a monthly payment and quite a large portion of my commitment paid up front. They call me when they receive a new settlement offer from a creditor. On a recent call, a representative could not explain to me why she needed me to pay $11,600 to settle a $4300 debt. Finally, she connected me to a manager who offered no better explanations, but a lower settlement (around $7k.) I said Id think it over and call back, which I did, but she was busy and never got back to me.

I am giving Credit Associates a low rating because Im very key on honesty and transparency . We have been in the program and things were going great, one completely settled and others in negations. But then, after not making payments on our credit cards, as you are advised to do when siging up, we were waaaaay behind on our two Discover accounts. According to our attorney, Discover never cooperates or negotiates, and Credit Associates knew this up front. Our attorney has had several clients with the same issue. We ended up being sued by Discover and were served papers at our home. I am disgusted that this is how this company makes their money. If you have credit cards other than Discover, you might be fine, but I am completely turned off by finding out that they knew this all along. And when we called, they said basically its our problem and should get an attorney, which is exactly what we did. Now, we have suspended our work with this company and dealing with our attorney, and out an attorney fee. Thank you Credit Associates for nothing. We will recommend this company to no one. Shame on you Credit Associates, because the only thing we will get from you now is a cute follow up saying you are sorry for our experience, as we have seen with all the other reviews. Dont be sorry, do better for your clients. Or pay their attorny fees when you cant do your job as you claim and promise in the beginning.

THEY GOT ME SUED WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SETTLING. I kept checking in for progress, they kept telling me they were waiting to hear back. The next thing I knew I was served court papers. Which now shows up when I or a future employer or future significant other or anyone in the world googles my name, Ive never been in any trouble now my name and phone number pop up with being SUED cause of this company. HORRIBLE experience. Started with a debt of $9400, finished my payments a year early, ended up paying over $9600 in fees and fees for them to hold my own money. Scammers. Call your CC company yourself and let them know your situation and ask to join a Hard Ship program. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

UPDATE..Please like my review as Im trying to help others save time, money and trouble, read this and do anything other than Credit Associates. I contacted them to see How they could make things right in their words, out of my 45 min conversation with CAs THEIR suggestion from their management was for ME to contact my credit bureaus myself and show them that I was making all my payments on time to CREDIT ASSOCIATES and to show the credit people that it was CAs fault for me missing payments, not my own. So they said to ask and maybe the credit report folks will just show me mercy and erase the lawsuit. Yeah right. Please DO NOT believe all the computer generated fake reviews that Credit Associates get. BEWARE, BE SUPER AWAREI was SUED by Bank of America 7 months into making payments with the Credit Associates program. Then CA settled with the law firm, which means I had to pay CA, the law firm and BofA. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. I also made a payment of $2000 the day after I was served court papers, zero progress was made before my $2000 payment. Before dealing with CAs I had made all my credit card payments on time, they tell you to stop making all your payments and your accounts become default. They then try to use that as leverage to settle your account, key word try.

They were very good and up front on all information and taking care of the client. They cleaned up my accounts and help me get my credit score back up after Wells Fargo destroyed it. I would recommend this company and the employees how are very helpful in all matters. I have never had such a good experience with other companies. Keep up the good work.Thank you so very much

I’m called CA because in their correspondence was very legit. I did my research and I found that it was legit and with no complaints. Now after settling some of my debts I’m very pleased to see their system works and the staff is excellent in customer service and understanding the clients. I do recommend CA.

The team at Credit Associates were kind, professional, and genuine people. I spoke with Austin and received top tier customer service, he explained everything clearly and answered my questions. I hate feeling rushed by some of these companies, but I never felt that way with him. Best of all, I was approved to have $8k of credit card debt forgiven, including what the company will profit, which is a huge help in my current life circumstances. I’m forever grateful, thank you!!

Its good but still continue to get calls from people who should been taken care of so not sure if what it says that they have been paid off or not if they would stop ones going to collections it doesnt help me at all some bills havent been touch Alot of third parties are getting involved and not helping my credit

I called unsure of which way to turn and I got a representative named Russell Towers that was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with understanding and patience. He made me feel comfortable enough to share my journey with debt and my hope of full recovery. The goal is to be debt-free and this is the best solution. Better than I had imagined. I dont know why I didnt consolidate sooner. Ill be debt free in 2 years
