This place is filthy most days. People throw garbage all around where theres not a dumpster. The workout room is not even nice anymore. They leave weights all over the place and they dont put them back. Garbage left on the floor. Garbage all over the place in front of the dumpsters on a regular basis. Really really loud music in peoples cars. They are troublemakers from across the border. The laundry room is disgusting. There is so much more to say. I believe there to be mold here. One of my relatives lives here. This place used to be really nice and the people that used to live in the community were all very nice, but it has turned into somewhat of a ghetto. You hear loud gunshots a lot more than used to be. The cleanup guys dont clean up outside properly. This place is run down. In 8 years or so, they have gone up on the rent to where it has doubled but theyre doing nothing to fix problems to make this place a safer and better place. The people from across the border start fights with people and continue to keep up drama.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This is by far the worst property I’ve ever encountered. I strongly urge anyone looking to rent to look elsewhere. When my home flooded due to rain, they dismissed it as a non-emergency and sent a cleaning crew after a staggering 6 hours. The pest problem is completely out of control. Despite requesting pest control every week, the issue remains unresolved, with roaches, spiders, and lizards constantly invading my space. The property manager is dismissive, claiming the issues have been resolved, which couldnt be further from the truth. Living here has become a daily mental battle, filled with stress and fear over what will go wrong next.I desperately want to break this lease and move out, but the leasing office, filled with incompetent and rude staff, provides no real help. If they experienced what Ive gone through, maybe theyd understand the frustration and pain.

Long but honest review: I lived here for over 3 years. There are plenty of pros for the price- the location is great and the apartments are big for the price. I loved my sun room, vaulted ceilings, and fireplace. I, personally, almost never had an issue finding parking near my building (bldg 6). A lot of families live in the complex, which can be nice. I rarely felt unsafe. The gym was small, but open 24 hrs and generally well maintained the times I used it. The pool was generally well maintained. There is a good amount of green space and trees if you have pets. Having the Amazon locker is a plus for sure. Street noise is not too bad since you are not right on Preston. The apartments are cheap, so you cant expect champagne on a soda budget and the complex did have its downsides:My apartment had roaches no matter WHAT I did or how many times they came to spray!! The pool is so full of people all day and night, throughout pretty much every weekend of every summer, making it difficult to use and enjoy. Almost every weekend there would be personal parties at the pool & in the field next to the pool, even though the community supposedly does not allow it. Trash would always be left behind afterwards - beer bottles, confetti, food waste. In fact, the entire complex was usually covered in trash (except the front by the leasing office, of course). I would see workers pick up trash first thing in the morning and then it was like they just never cared about the trash they saw for the rest of the day, even though it was prevalent. I often had to step over literal piles of trash to get to my car from the stairs at my building (I wish I was exaggerating). The trash cans for dog poop and regular trash that were around the complex were often overflowing for days.I lived next to the maintenance shed, and there were always random appliances or pieces of appliances and other junk just laying in the grass out in the open next to the building (where people take their dogs to do their business). Which was not aesthetically pleasing and also left me wondering if they were going to put those appliances inside someones unit after they were sitting out there. The pipes burst several times while I was living in this complex, which is possibly just due to the age of the buildings, but inconvenient nonetheless. The *actual* main gate that leads to the resident buildings was almost never in working order. If it did get repaired, it would work for maybe a day or 2, but usually just several hours, before it was broken again; and then it would stay broken for months. So, it was almost always left open. This particularly bothered me since it worked when I moved in, and I wanted to live somewhere with a working gate.Maintenance requests were often given a quick fix that often did not actually fix the issue which would cause me to have them out multiple times for one issue. The residents in the complex were generally loud on the weekends (always having parties - yelling and playing loud music).Would I consider living here again? Yes, if I could not afford a nicer place, I would; but only in that circumstance.

If it was my choose I will give this apartments no stars at all. Ive lived here for about 7 years, but Im about to talk about the last unit #1312. I lived there for 2 years. I was forced to moved out, because for 2 years I complained about the AC never working. I remember coming back from the hospital with my newborn and the AC was 80°F I called maintenance after hours and I was told to OPEN THE WINDOWS Remember I had just gotten out of the hospital. With this HOT days I had to stay during the day at my in laws house, because my AC was 73°F but in my apt was 80°F. My daughter suffers from Asthma and even though I continued to ask them to fix stuff I was being told that they did. But please take a look at the following pictures from unit 1312. Neightbors are LOUD, at night you can hear gunshots, parties at the pool are ridicusly loud at night. Recently I was told I owe almost $400 which I get some of the charges but not $310 for a piece of carpet where there was a stain but I am being charge to replace the whole room carpet. Even though they kept my deposit of $250. Ive been emailing back and forth with the manager Tiffany and she did not responded my last email where I asked her if she would have her Asthmatic daughter living un the conditions we were. So much I could say. All I can say is DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT OR APARTMENTS they are NASTY.

So I stayed here for a year!! Specifically Apt. 709. The apartment wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t the best! They paint over everything!! My tub was peeling for majority of my stay! My bathroom closet door basically broke off the hinge so I couldn’t open or close it! The kitchen and bathroom counters were also painted over so every time we cleaned it would just peel off! They advertised the sunroom which is what made me get that apartment just to realize there’s no circulation going through it! If it’s hot outside it’s boiling in there and if it’s cold outside it’s freezing in there! Lastly but certainly not least THE ROACHES!!!! Luckily since I kept it pretty clean they only came out at night but still! I would have to lock myself in my room at night because they would basically take over my apartment! It was sooo bad! And I signed up for pest control and they only came once! But it’s in a nice location as far as restaurants and gyms! If you have other options please consider those first!!!

Had my car broken into for the first time ever.😬..ants and roaches know you by name. . Rain leaks into the house from the walls when it rains. Smell of gas on every corner. The washer and dryer Do NOt WORK. Patiently waiting for my lease to be over. You cant pay me to live here again. Lol

Started living here about 2 years ago and it was great. Within the past 6 months roaches have infested the entire complex and the leasing office does nothing to help. The mailboxes have been repeatedly broken and mail stolen for the past 2 months. The complex has done nothing to stop this other than fixing what was damaged and adding some cheap extra locks. No cameras installed, no other preventative measures, and are refusing to compensate anyone for missing mail. Benches and other installations are sitting broken with no repairs for weeks and can be considered dangerous for kids and pets to be around. Absolutely do not recommend living here. Whatever changed with management recently needs to undone because this used to be a half decent place to live.

Gotta say, this is one of the worst experiences I had for the price range of this complex. Some context: I knew what I was paying for, as in I didn’t expect luxury from what Century Park calls an “Efficient” Room Plan at $730. The only expectation I had was that the apartment remained functional at a standard level and that maintenance could fix any issues that arrived. Yet, in my two years of living here, I couldn’t even get that. One Pro: Amazing Area – All the necessities, vital retail stores, movie theaters, parks, and most popular fast food restaurants are a short drive away from here. Dentists, doctors, physicians, etc. aren’t too far either. When I first moved in in 2018, the apartment was not ready at all. Not only did half of all electrical outlets were either too loose or didn’t work (one of them was installed upside-down, with no opening!!!), the toilet had a major leak. A leak that took twice for it to fix during the move-in. The stovetop only had two working burners, in which the two broken ones constantly broke to the point that I stopped bothering to call about it. And on top of all that, my car got towed because the management forgot to give me my parking pass. I so wished I could have saved the photo of the bullet hole I found in my window after I moved in. They couldn’t even be bothered to check the windows, my god.Speaking of windows, they leaked. For all 2 years. No matter how many times the maintenance came up to fix it, it always leaked back up again. It especially was bad during storm season in 2019, where the rain nearly caused an electrical fire pouring out of both windows, each above an outlet. The water damage got so bad that cracks in-between the wall and windows started to appear. No matter how much I complained about it to management, it fell on deaf ears. Maintenance would just patch it up with adhesive and call it a day. Well, apparently I wasn’t the only one having that problem because the entire outside wall of our building collapsed in September 2020. (Pics Below) And even when they finally repair the wall, it only led to more damage inside the apartment, to where even my ceiling is starting to falter.Don’t expect much from maintenance. My apartment also just so happened to have the oldest, loudest air conditioner unit on the street, waking up neighbors with a high pitch whirring sound. When I first complained, the maintenance guy said “it’s not that bad” despite telling him how some neighbors can’t sleep, including myself. As you guess, most of maintenance’s solutions didn’t work. One night I was so fed up with it, I decided to treat it like a squeaky door and pour a little olive oil in the ac unit. And just like that, not a single peep from it since. A whole year I had to deal with that excruciating noise and yet such a simple solution was not thought up by paid professionals. As far as the neighborhood goes, I can’t speak for one side of the complex, but on my side expect loud, large families running all about, thundering the building. Rude neighbors who have arguments in the early mornings screaming out their lungs, as well as music blasting to 1AM on weekdays. You will hear gunshots, if not from Century Park then from the other neighboring communities. These buildings are old, so you will hear your above neighbor’s every step from the rickety ceilings and whenever they use the bathroom. Don’t bother using on-complex laundry either. If a family isn’t hogging all the washers and dryers, then the units are infested with insects that will give you bed bugs. You can guess how it is with cockroaches from there. All in all, just a terrible experience. I know how difficult it is to find functional places to live on budget, but better believe you can do better than Century Park.

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE CONSIDERING THESE APARTMENTSI lived at Century Park apartments for one year and it was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had or even heard of at an apartment complex. There are roaches EVERYWHERE. The infestation is completely unmanageable and the complex is aware and is still letting people move in to these infested units. They will happily charge a monthly pest control fee and the “pest control” services that do absolutely nothing because roaches are living behind holes and gaps between cabinets and other unreachable areas. The final straw was when I looked in my pantry to find roaches crawling all over my food and when calling the office they told me I could stop by for a roach trap that they keep on hand in the office just to call back minutes later to say they were out of traps. On top of that, this complex will try to milk every penny out of you, for example my registration sticker was out one week and while waiting for my new sticker in the mail, I found a tow notice on my car and when calling the office they told me there was nothing they could do about it. They are also happy to charge a monthly amenity fee while the laundry units are always broken, I even had hundreds of dollars worth of clothes shredded up in a dryer at the complex. Please trust the reviews and avoid these apartments at absolutely all costs. They should be torn down.

There are a LOT of reasons that living here was an awful experience, including shoddy maintenance “repairs,” roaches, and horrendous customer service. However, the worst part was dealing with the employee named Jasmine. Other employees were at least nice (if unhelpful), but every time I walked into the office and saw Jasmine’s face my heart sank. She’s got to be the most dense, rude, and condescending person I have ever encountered. She is so painfully and obviously insecure that she projects her unhappiness onto everyone that has the misfortune of dealing with her. Once, when we hadn’t had hot water for going on 5 days, I came to ask if there was an estimated repair date and I couldn’t even finish my question before she rolled her eyes and snapped “file an insurance claim, I can’t help you.” I guess she assumed my pipe had burst when I was actually asking about hot water…that’s just one of countless negative interactions I had with her over the time I lived here. One of the best parts of buying a home and leaving this dump will be never having to interact with her ever again :) Oh, they also charged me $35 for a “gate card” that they never asked for when keys were returned, and no mention of it was made on the move out documents. Speaking of ridiculous charges, you’re required to clean the unit thoroughly upon move out, but they also charge a mandatory $75 “cleaning fee.” This place is absolutely awful and I am so incredibly glad to be gone. TRUST THE REVIEWS and avoid Century Park at all costs, but especially avoid Jasmine, because dealing with her was actually more unpleasant than constantly finding roaches in my bathroom.

Absolutely unliveable conditions in these apartments. ROACH CITY. They will try to squeeze every dime out of you in excess fees for literally anything but the roaches are the only living things reaping any benefits here. Structural damage that is painted over which contributes to pests. Maintenance and leasing office does little to nothing to address issues. They will lie through their teeth in replies to these reviews about their efforts despite actual accounts from real residents contradicting all of their claims. Please avoid this place like the plague.

Update my rating was five stars but now its two.Review for Century Park Apartments:I lived at Century Park Apartments for roughly four years, with two of those years spent in building 14, apartment 1416. Im going to be straightforward in sharing my experience. Initially, when I moved in, I hardly noticed any roaches, but over time, their presence became increasingly apparent. To be specific, apartment 1416 had a significant roach infestation, to the point where they seemed to emerge from the walls. As my tenure continued, I moved to another building within the same complex where, although fewer, roaches were still a problem. I even found them in my shoebox during my move-out, which paints a clear picture of the extent of the issue. However, its essential to highlight the positives. I genuinely appreciated the affordable rent offered at Century Park. The leasing management team and maintenance crew are commendable; they excel in their roles, always being supportive and efficient. But, its also essential to understand that these apartments are older, which might be a reason for their lower pricing. While I cherished many aspects of my stay, the roach issue is non-negotiable for me. It significantly influenced my overall rating. I now reside in a new apartment, thankfully without any roach issues. For those considering Century Park, be cautious and perhaps ask for recent pest control reports. Nonetheless, a heartfelt thank you to the Century Park team for the other positive experiences during my stay.

From the leasing office 😉.This is just a reminder that our community does actively tow cars that are not in compliance within myvipparking for residents and register2park for guests. We give one parking permit (via MyVIPParking) per leaseholder. If you get a temporary rental car you MUST update within MyVIPParking before parking in any space that is not labeled visitor. Any car without proper registration within MyVIP, which is parked in a non-visitor parking space is at risk of being TOWED. If you change vehicles, you must update within MyVIPParking. Reserved parking is $30 each month for leaseholders with more than 1 vehicle each month, and you can request one by calling or emailing the office.Even if you are a resident, if you park in Guests Parking, YOU MUST REGISTER AS A GUEST. I moved into this apartment complex with high hopes, paying my entire lease upfront - a substantial $16,000. Little did I know, my stay would become a nightmare.Someone was breaking into the laundry room, stealing unwashed underwear, and stalking me relentlessly. As a single woman on the first floor, my safety was at stake, and I sought help from the management. To my shock, they brushed off my pleas for assistance, showing no concern for my safety. Feeling trapped, I had no choice but to leave. They charged me nearly $3,000, despite the upfront lease payment. This ordeal has left me traumatized and financially burdened, and its affecting my ability to find a new place to live. This complex cares more about profits than residents well-being.In short, avoid this place if you value your safety and peace of mind. No matter how much you clean your apartment or get pest control roaches will keep coming in from the building. These are not water bugs they are German roaches. I do not suggest moving here unless it is a last minute move and you have no where else to go. Staff will try to make you think they are water bugs but I have only seen 1 water bug and many German roaches. The walls are thin as you can feel every vibration from neighbors and hear them if they are in the room next to you on the other side. Still a quiet neighborhood.

This apartment have only one advantage, its in a good location (good restaurants, bars, parks etc.). Here are the disadvantages, I guarantee you 100%1. The price of the apartment is not stable, it always goes up during renewal.2. They never care about their Tenant even when you complain, the problem will never be solved.3. poor maintenance of the apartment (rooms). They only resolve bath and kitchen basin three months later after I made the third complain.4. Lots of cockroaches from day one. I have to do the pesticides by myself because I need to be healthy.5. Laundry service is very poor. They dont use modern machine. The Laundry ATM never works you have to wait till the leasing office open to recharge your card.Choose wisely.

I put in a work order over 2 weeks ago which was never addressed and when a work order is fixed... its just rigged enough to keep it mildly functional for 1 week before we have to call out again....the office never answers their phones and what kind of complex requires you to either install or add excessive lighting and fans because theres none in the main rooms? Many of the outlets dont work and even the office staff admitted to having a contract with the towing company to which guests who arent even here for 12 hours will get towed despite being registered. I lived at Century Park for a year, and I think it’s a great place for first-time apartment renters. They’re relatively inexpensive; not amazing, but not horrible. The amenities are minimal, about as low as you could go while still being decent (very small gym, iffy on-site laundry, large but not deep pool, one kids playground), and the parking situation is alright (had to walk across the complex to my apartment only a few times late at night). It’s super close to the main parts of Addison, and everything’s within a 5-10 minute drive. I recommend it to my friends who are looking to move into their first-time 1 bedroom apartments due to the low prices and decent options for sizes. I had frequent issues with plumbing while I was there, but that’s mostly it. Sometimes the water for sinks, showers, and toilets just didn’t flow, but it was always fixed within the day. The front office’s attentiveness is just okay and the community laundry situation isn’t the best due to the card loader being broken constantly. The upside is that there’s a laundromat right down the road that fixes that issue. Overall, the apartments are just okay. Not great for my personal opinion of long-time living, but perfect for new renters who are just looking for a decent priced apartment to get away from their current situations. 3/5 stars, they’re just alright.

Regardless, it’s a structural problem and I believe that only by demolishing the whole place you could MAYBE solve this issue.I was able to break my lease without a fine due to the cockroach problem, so if you are ever in this situation, know your rights and go after them! Got my car towed twice by the apartment IN ONE WEEK (and never apologized paid me back)because they just let the tow truck in with no accountability and tow whatever they see without a sticker. Even though I was driving my sole vehicle which was registered to me by apartment I was towed!!! The stickers for parking used to expire after your lease so a new was you need a new one after each contract. But good luck getting one easily because the office hours are hardly convenient during the work week if you work long days at a high school like me.Also the apartment is extremely shoddily repainted as if a third grader did it.The iron railing is falling off or decaying or breaking apart everywhere. Save your money and rent somewhere else. I thought these apartments were getting better since new owners came in but nope, once the property manager moved the new one became money hungry. Now Ive loved here 3 years and have never received as many notices as I do now and its not even being late on rent. Ex. Pest control will be doing kitchen sprays, if top of fridge is not cleaned off you get charged $50 (no exaggeration) 1 day late on rent? Be ready for an $80 late fee. Utilities go up every month but I still have yet to get an understanding as to why my water bill is almost $80 but no one is home m-f 7-5. Also the rent has gone up so high that its amusing, they say you are paying for a nice neighborhood but my previous apartment was a 1bdrm with a study about 765sq ft..I was paying $725 plus utiltites, it was roach infested nothing upgraded but now that same apartment is $900-1000. Look online for yourself. I have since upgraded to a 2bdrm for $1025 this same apartment is now going for $1300..no upgrades. Parking is horrible, kids are always playing in the parking lot so have fun trying to go around them. The only pros about this complex is the maintenance men actually fix things, Sharon works in the office and is nice. (They should make her manager) the location is great. Other than that, save yourself the headache. You can go one block over and find nicer apartments for cheaper.

I just moved 2 months ago in these apartments, and so far Ive had only positive experience. The apartments are cheap and clean. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and safe. The leasing consultant Brandon Penados has been of a great help in assisting me with all my requests and needs related to the apartment. The location is also very close to all the stores, restaurants, and parks.

I would give negative score if I can. This place is horrible, including property and management. The property is old which is totally fine for me. First, the property has been infested by roaches. Yes, we do pay pest control, the company has been my apartment twice, nothing improves, roaches still running around, can you image seeing live roaches in your bathtub everyday, I had to buy products online to treat the roaches. Second, the management does not do anything, I paid $100 total to add my name and my husband name on the lease, until we moved out, the name was still last residents.

DO NOT RENT HERE !! EVER !!I stayed at this apartment for 4 years, because i thought it was the cheapest place in the area. It was cheaper back then, but this year the price went up A LOT. For the same price i can rent a 2 bedroom at another place. This is some reason why you should never rent here:- ROACHES EVERYWHERE, no matter how clean you are or how many time they spray the pest control. It never go away. At night roaches crawl all over the place. Words can not describe how much roaches there is....- FRONT OFFICE IS UNPROFESSIONAL, this place is loud, people do fight all the time. If you were made a complaint to the office THEY WILL SNITCH YOUR NAME!!!! Me and my friends who lived here always loose our packages. It would said delivered at the front office, i would ask them and they always said they don’t have it. Until MONTHS LATER, they gave it to me....for what?

Office people are kind and helpful. The room condition is ok. Neighbors around are mostly quiet. But I do experience one with constant noise at night. The biggest problem here that I experienced are bugs. Ive often seen croaches crawling in almost every room in the apartment. The office is trying to solve the issue by calling in constant bug control. However, that leaves the apartment full of the nasty bug spray smell all the time. I have to leave the window/balcony door open even in cold weather. Otherwise, the smell is just killing me.

My bathtub requires a new paint job, and the caulking looks mildew and moldy...Ive notified them in person, over the phone and in writing, and still isnt fixed.Just today someone got murdered in the parking lot.At first it was pretty cool, then they allowed a few people to move in, and I guess this isnt really good for the safety of residents. The staff is professional, however they arent fixing anything. There are no bugs, they do stay on top of that.Move here if it feels good to you, and if it doesnt then dont.

WORST APARTMENTS EVER!!! I wouldnt wish this place on my enemy. First, there is a property-wide cockroach infestation. Or should I say there is a property-wide cockroach infestation that the property management acknowledges and does not care about. In our particular unit, we had cockroaches all over the walls and one even laid eggs in the clock of our oven. I have pictures to prove it. I started by putting in a work request for maintenance to come spray for it. The maintenance man actually said yeah this isnt even that bad, the other side has it way worse. I was in building 9, for anyone reading this that is having the same issue. After months of this worsening, I went to the building manager and asked if I could leave my lease at the scheduled end date with slightly less than a 60 day notice. She refused, citing that they never let anyone leave without a 60 day notice for any reason. She even backed up her nonchalant attitude about the welfare of her residents by saying yes there is a woman who lives here who has stage 4 cancer that we would not even let out of her lease. WOW. All this on top of my neighbor who loudly listened to porn every night and my upstairs neighbor that jumped on a trampoline in their apartment at 3am and smoked weed like it was going out of style. My apartment had the lovely odor to prove it.If anyone who currently lives at Century Park is having these issues, TAKE PICTURES. Document everything and every conversation. Try to converse with office management in email only if possible. Then send a calmly worded letter, certified, to the Anterra Corporate office at 12201 Merit Drive, Suite 270, Dallas, Texas 75251 and firmly state your demand to leave. Richard Hoffmann is the President of this company and Stephen Hansen is the VP/Controller, make your letter addressed directly to them. Maybe they will not read it, but their assistants will definitely pass along the message. It worked for us. Good luck.

These are the worst apartments I have ever lived in. The leasing office is completely unorganized, the staff is not well trained, they do not communicate with one another, and they do not seem to care much about their complex. You have to constantly harass the leasing office in order to get any maintenance requests done and my husband has to actually watch the maintenance guys while they work so that were sure they actually do something. We dont allow anyone who works for the apartments into our apartment when were not home because we cant trust them. Ive also had maintenance guys track and leave mud all over my apartment. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. It is less expensive than a lot of other places but thats because its horrible and with how poor conditions are, it shouldnt even be as much as it is. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!

Hateful apartments.1) Maintenance often takes over 4 days to attend to your needs.2) High turnover rate within the leasing office, so managers consistently never get anything done nor understand tenants living situations.3) Recently did paint job and added siding to the buildings, but didnt update ANYTHING inside the apartments.4) Apartment complex resides next to a cemetery (they never tell you that during the walk-through).5) Extremely thin flooring.6) Regular altercations requiring police involvement.7) High levels of feces by pets throughout apartment grounds.8) 10 PM mandatory curfew by residents.9) So called security service by a courtesy officer (courtesy officers are not on site).10) Unleashed pets in common areas.11) EXTREMELY poor insulation leading to exorbitantly high electrical bills.12) Cheap cabinatery.13) Due to lack of updates appliances are old, inefficient, and breaking down.14) Very high levels of crime in the area. You will be hard-pressed to find a more resentful apartment complex. All aspects of staff and maintenance are appalling to a quantified degree. The leasing office never takes responsibility for anything, theyre slowly allowing Century Park Apartments to fall into disrepair. Leasing one of their apartments would truly be a mistake for which no amount of money saved would be worth the living experience.

These Apartments Have A Bad Roach Problem They Need To Be Tore Down Because The Roaches Is In The Foundation Of The Complex. I Have Never Had A Apartment With This Bad Of A Roach Problem. There Was Also A Electrical Problem In My Apartment Anything That Needed To Be Plugged Up Couldnt Work Nor Did My AC, I Lost Food That Was Just Bought. The Property Reimbursed Me For My Loss And The Gates Always Broken. OK so I’ve been living here now for Over six months, and I have to say given the area and the price point I’m pretty much content ! Is there better ? Yes! But You’re gonna pay for it Lol These apartment complexes are older and have been renovated not all units are renovated ! I happen to live in a renovated unit towards the middle of the complex, i’m very happy with it, I have friends who live in Hyde Park Which is just behind these apartment complexes and they’re paying $60 more but they do have washer and dryer connections and a little bit more square footage and their unit is newer than Century Park Apartments , but Century Park Apartments has plenty of washing facilities On property , I don’t know about these roaches people keep talking about Lol I keep my place clean plus I don’t have a cat or a dog , because you know dog food and cat food attract roaches (Ew) .... clean after yourself sweep often take out the trash don’t leave food out That’s how I stay roach free God bless !. parking can be crowded over the weekends but never during the weekdays ! When people complain about parking on the other side I don’t understand because this complex is not big it’s just a giant U-turn Lol The people living here are usually family and college students you don’t really see kids running around which is a good thing , try to get a unit away from the pool obviously sound carries , and try to get a renovated unit which are usually on the first floor you get the most bang for your buck better floors better appliances better finishing plus USB sockets which are very convenient ! You’ll be happy here as long as you remember these are older buildings that have been remodeled .... it is what it is

COCKROACH & RAT INFESTATION!Here is the incredibly long list of problems I experienced while living (and even after moving out) of Century Park:- place immediately smelled like cigarette smoke once I moved in (October 2017) & the smell never went away (even found an old cigarette in my shower)- Pipes burst above my kitchen and spilled water through the ceiling and all over my kitchen. I had over 20 glasses & bowls placed around my kitchen to catch the water. The leaking water left water stains on the ceiling and probably created some nice mold colonies as well.- RAT INFESTATION that lasted from December 2017 - April 2018 despite MULTIPLE requests for pest control to put out traps in my apartment, around, and in neighbors. The first time I reported the infestation, it took a week and a half for anything to be done, even though I called the office and complained after four days. I was promised pest control would come out, but they never did. Only had someone come out after a second call to the office. Even got to find a dead rat on my kitchen floor one morning which could have died from poison and harmed my dog if she got to the rat before I found it. I could hear the rats crawling around in my walls, I had to store all of my food in my fridge, and was constantly cleaning to prevent the rats from getting any food crumbs.- COCKROACH INFESTATION came after the rats and lasted from May 2018 - October 2018 (when I moved out & am not convinced they were gone, even discovered a cockroach on a piece of furniture that had traveled with me in the Uhaul). I had to request maintenance at least five times, even though I asked many of those times for weekly sprays of my apartment as well as neighbors apartments. I am not even convinced the pest control Century Park sent out was spraying well since I was always at work when they did decide to show up. Had to request for an outside pest control company to come spray. Again, I had to completely clean my apartment daily and would kill anywhere from 5-15 cockroaches daily. As gross as the rats were, the cockroaches were even harder to get rid of.- STRANGE MAN walked onto my patio at the back of the property, almost like he was going to try opening the sliding screen door, but he quickly left once he saw me staring at him through the window. I chased after him & once confronted, he said he was with landscaping but I think he was going to attempt to break in.- HARASSED by the front office that my emotional support animal dog was unauthorized even though I emailed them with the information and forms weeks before I moved in & signed forms for her on my move in day. I called the office to explain I received the first letter in error, left a voicemail, and figured the issue would be resolved and was a simple mistake only to received another letter the next day! I was being issued a fine and told my dog needed to leave my apartment. The entire situation was incredibly distressing and luckily was resolved, but it should never have occurred in the first place, let alone gotten to the point of the second letter.- CHARGED RENT AFTER I MOVED OUT! I moved out 10/6/18 & paid my last rent with a money order. I was told, and made sure to double check, that I would not be charged for any additional rent. Come October 1st, I get an email alert notifying me a payment for the full month of rent was scheduled. I immediately called the office and was told not to worry, the payment would be cancelled once my money order was processed in the system. I even went so far as to cancel the automatic payment through the system on my end to ensure payment would not go through. But in true Century Park fashion, the payment went through for almost $1,000. Again, I had to contact Century Park and explain I did not owe the money and I needed a refund. I was told my refund would be given once my apartment had been fully checked and any fees taken out. It took a month and a half after I moved out, along with another email, before I got MY MONEY back that Century Park should have never taken!
