EDIT: We ended up doing flooring and paint work with them and not only did it take over two weeks when we were told 3 days, but they left all of the trash in our driveway and the three ceiling fans weren’t put back up and rewired! Do I know how to wire a fan? NO. Can I drag this heavy stuff to the curb on my own? Also no. The floor and paint looks great but this was very frustrating.They also agreed to fix a trim piece, and didn’t bother sizing it right so it ends at a strange spot halfway across the beam.At least I got a new ladder and work light out of it because they never came and got the rest of their stuff.Mike and Richard did an amazing job! We have a wood burning fireplace that needed a deep cleaning and repairs in the firebox, and they weren’t kidding when they said it would look brand new. They couldn’t be nicer and I’m looking forward to working with them on more projects!

Mike and his colleague at SafeAir Duct & Chimney did a great job for myself and my wife yesterday.When we moved into our home, our fireplace wasnt in a working state and we had left it that way. Unfortunately, wasps had started to enter our home through our fireplace and it meant we had to call in someone to help us out.We originally sought help via thumbtack.com and got put in touch with SafeAir Duct and Repair and had an appointment set. For some reason, thumbtack also booked an appointment without our knowledge with another company and their repair person showed up first and gave us a crazy quote to fix our fireplace to the tune of 2500 after all their upselling. After paying their inspection fee and sending them on their way, we got back in touch with SafeAir Duct & Chimney.Mike went out of his way to call us back, talk us through our situation and give us a much fairer quote. He even made time to come to us in the afternoon, after we had already cancelled our appointment with him due to the first guy showing up unexpectedly.Mike and his colleague went above and beyond the call of duty to help us get our fireplace secured from wasps and get it back into a working state so we can use it as a real fireplace again.Sadly, we had some other issues with our gas pipe so we are unable to use that, but we can burn wood in there now and wasps are no longer able to get through which is exactly what we wanted.Id happily recommend SafeAir Duct and Repair to anyone who needed their fireplace or chimney repaired, specifically Mike because he took care of us when it would have been easy to blow us off.Well be calling SafeAir again in the future to have them come and take a look at our gas lines and get everything fully working once more.

Called for routine chimney inspection and cleaning and everything looked great. They were able to check inside and on the roof and noted a small rust area on top and recommended a cap be installed to prevent future damage due to weather. They sent an estimate right away that we will be wanting to install in the future. Great service, came out next day and cleaned the ducts thoroughly to alleviate the musty smell in my house. Ben worked quickly to complete the job and my house is already smelling better.

Mike with SafeAir was extremely knowledgeable and respectful of my time. My wife and I just purchased our first home, so getting work done to a home is all new to us. Mike explained the services they offer and gave me the option to have a couple things done along with the cleaning I needed. The free estimate is not a ploy to up charge you, which is a nice surprise considering some companies tactics. There are other services they offer such as exterior painting, which I will use them for in the future. Having my chimney cleaned was a seamless and pleasant experience.
