I had a complete new system installed and after a quick resolution to a hiccup in plans, the system was installed, my house was put back in order, and they miraculously did not trample any plants in a tight space for the condenser. What a great experience getting a quote for our HVAC equipment from Quigley. The lady who took my initial call was very friendly and helpful in setting up the initial visit.When Kevin came to the house to see what needed to be done, it was easy to see he knew exactly what he was doing and that he is a true professional. He had a clear vision of what needed to be done, what needed to be replaced, updated, etc and I never got the feeling he was trying to sell me anything. Quigley performs high-quality work at reasonable prices. I am a retired chemical engineer, know my basic way around heating and AC systems, and have never been disappointed with Quigley. They are good.My wife and I have a maintenance plan with Quigley for 3 HVAC units and the company places almost all of the work they do under the maintenance plan instead of trying to charge us extra. Quigley has never overcharged us for their work and has never pressured us to do work we didnt need. This is a rare thing in the industry.

After receiving 3 bid to have our air conditioning unit replaced, we selected Quigley. They were competitive with another bid, yet we preferred the solution Kevin presented. We live in a 1939 cottage that has been added on too. The cooling in the addition was not as efficient as in the rest of the house.Our attic space was challenging to work in. Frank, Troy and Delvis rebuilt an entire new unit, relocating it, within a tight space. Allowing better access to the unit. Along with ductwork that now allows the air to evenly cool all the rooms. Without our expectations they laid plywood which will enable easier access for future maintenance. The entire team was respectful of our home. Carefully bringing in materials, avoiding walls and ceiling. The entire team were highly skilled and worked together. Any construction is challenging for a homeowner, but these guy were calm, patient and a pleasure to work with. They are skilled technicians. Highly recommend.

We noticed our AC went out at 2:30 PM on a Saturday and started making phone calls to every company to see who could come TODAY since we have an infant and the house was already 86F. Quigley was the only company to give us an estimated time for service. Ray Romero arrived and promptly diagnosed the problem. He was able to get the AC going FAST. we are thankful he was able to find a solution while he orders a replacement part. He says he’ll be back on Monday, so TBD. He was friendly and professional. We have been using Quigley since our very first HVAC system installation in our 1950’s house, which was around 1984-85!They are really good about our regular maintenance services, and keeping us informed as to the technician (complete with photo & bio) who will be arriving and when, etc. (A very nice feature for anyone who is concerned about letting a stranger in their home).They also let us provide our own filter which can be a real cost saver.Keep up the good work, Quigley!

Quigley installed this unit in my house about five years ago and I always felt that they did a good job. Technician George came out today and he was great. He explained what he was doing and some things about my unit that I never knew. Very pleased with my service.

He recommended some optional services but was not pushy. He did not come off like a salesman looking for a big commission like so many companies’ service technicians do.

This is my first Yelp review. Ive never been so dissatisfied with a company that I felt the need to share my experience online. Quigley came to my townhouse to diagnose an HVAC issue after it stopped working. It has been two weeks (14 days) since their first visit, and still have not fixed the problem. After scheduling an appointment a week in advance for them to come out tomorrow, they have cancelled the appointment to reschedule for Friday. My fiance, dog, and I have been out of a place to live for two full weeks because of Quigleys incompetence and their lack of prioritizing a customer whos HVAC has been broken for two weeks where average temperatures have been 110 degrees. I would not wish the service Quigley has provided us on my worst enemy. If youre surveying HVAC companies to help you, use literally any HVAC company but this one if you want your problem solved in a reasonable period of time.
I call this company today based on their website reviews. I was so glad I called. Place a call around 11:30 and got a same-day appointment. Joshua was very knowledgeable about my ac problem. The price was very very reasonable. Joshua is friendly I will keep this company on my phone and will most differently tell my family and friends about Quigley Heating & Air Conditioning.

I have a service contract with Quigley, and they come to test the AC/heater twice a year. Today I was scheduled for an 8-12 window and got a call at 8:40 saying the technician was on his way (they told me I would have a 30 minute call before which is SO helpful!). I was pleasantly surprised to see Ray at my door this morning, as he had done some outstanding service for us with Quigley at our former residence. As I remembered, Ray was professional, knew the equipment and made me feel confident that I understood the state of the unit in our house. He clearly shared information and gave me options to proceed with. Thankful for a great experience this morning!

20230829 UpdateHad Quigley come out for an AC issue that turned out to be electrical. Still great service, technicians aren’t condescending, and are really helpful!Used them for an HVAC replacement. They were professional and communicated every step of the way from pricing to ordering and during install. They stayed late to make sure the job was done right, and followed up a couple weeks after install to make sure everything was working properly. Would definitely use them again, but judging by the quality, I won’t have to for another 10 years!

We had Ray come to our house to service our gas furnace. We only moved in about a year ago and it was the first time we had such routine service from Quigley. I was very pleased with the service. In addition to routine service Ray installed a new thermostat as our old one was worn out (it was very hard to change the temperature setting). Ray was efficient and professional.

Quigley is great! Our upstairs AC unit has been on the fritz for years and they will make the repairs without overly trying to sell us a new unit. A few years needed a new downstairs unit and used them for a new install as well. They were more reasonable than the competing bid and I thought they did a great job. The unit had lasted without any issues.

I called Quigley because of a friend referral. Our AC stopped working properly around 4pm on Thursday. I called our usual HVAC company but they could not send anyone until Saturday (!). So I started frantically asking around and calling random companies on Google. No one could send a technician for at least a day/day and a half. Long story short, my friend told me to call Quigley and I am so glad I did. I called them (today) Friday around 8:45am, the operator (thankfully!!) put me on an emergency wait-list and a lovely gentleman, Ray R., arrived at my house just 3 hours later!!! He was very thorough, professional, courteous and did a great job helping me fully understand what caused the malfunction. In addition, the cost seemed very reasonable. Now my home is rapidly cooling off and I’m considering switching to Quigley long-term.

I was dissatisfied at first because I was under the impression that the technician took too long to find the problem. But actually, he was being very thorough and was covering all the bases. I dont know anything about air conditioning, so all I have to go on is what something appears to look like.I had been very pleased with the service provided before from Quigley and thats why I continue to call them.

We had a particularly difficult city inspector and Brandon worked with us through the entire permitting process. We have since used them to perform our annual maintenance. On the Friday after Thanksgiving the service tech arrive within 10 to 15 minutes. We both thought the fix would be an easy and quick one. It was not. He solved the problem over a period of about two hours. He was wonderful.

It was a Friday evening after work in December (2015). The house was getting colder...I called and got the answering service. They called the service person who called me back within 5 minutes. He also lives in Plano and within 30 minutes was at my house. And 30 minutes later, a faulty striker was replaced on the heating system and the house was now getting warmer. Whew!So glad I have a Service Contract with Quigley - they came to the rescue!! I was amazed and delighted at how fast their response was to take care of their customer. I highly recommend Quigley and getting a Service Contract with them!!
I spent $25k on three new units a few years ago and had great service. Just recently, we had some warranty maintenance done on one of the units. The part was free because it was under warranty, but I was charged for 4 hours of labor for what took less than 1.5 hours to repair. Just be cautious and go through the charges before you make a payment.
Made an appointment and technician showed up four hours late (timeframe was 8-12, showed up at 4). When he finally got there, he didn’t have the right tools for the job so had to reschedule. When he came back, he couldn’t repair it and recommended a leak search. Said he’d send a quote but never did after 2 weeks. Called office again and finally got a quote, when I asked what kind of search the quote was for they couldn’t answer, said they’d call me back with more details but never did. So every part of my experience was pretty much terrible, my AC is still broken and I’m out $50.
The electrician, Mathew, who came was extremely polite and great at explaining the issue. I also had a good experience when I made the appointment. The staff is very helpful even on short notice.

Quigley Technicians have been taking care of my heating and air conditioner since they installed it in 2006. i have been a Q Club member since 2014, which means a technician checks my system two times a year. I have found the technicians to be professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Today, technician Ray came out to check the AC unit. I asked him about surge protectors and I took his recommendation to install them on my system, which I think is an excellent insurance policy against catastrophic damage to my heating and AC systems. He also performed some other needed preventive maintenance work. I highly recommend Quigley Heating & Air Conditioning as a result of my 13 year relationship with the company.
1st of all, I rec’d a text with my techs picture and profile. I really appreciated that. They wore masks and booties and asked me questions about what I was experiencing with my furnace . Initially , it looked like it was working, but they continued to test the unit and determined my control board was bad. They also showed me pics of my sensor and ignitor which indicated that they also would need replacing soon . The office got back to me within hours with a quote on parts. Appreciated the professionalism of the whole operation.
I’ve been using these guys for over 12 years! Only for my business at first. Now they service both my home and business. They have always treated me fair! I went with another company once when I had a last minute emergency and my HOA suggested suggested the guys they use. I was appalled by the service... only time I have ever strayed. These guys actually care about building a relationship with you. I am writing this review because I recently had them out to my salon and again, the service was exactly what you would expect from a family owned business. My a/c unit decided to swallow the cheap filters I bought:/ the tech was so nice even tho I was embarrassed about my lack of care for my unit! Lol! I was also 30 min late to let them in... of course they were there right when they said they would be. He’s serviced both my a/c units, cleaned the outdoor units... and checked to make sure the coils were not a mess with no additional charge. I was so thankful for the customer service for the first time I decided to leave this review despite using them for so long and never sharing my experiences. I recommend them to all my friends. Quigley installed our AC unit 10 years ago and we purchased the maintenance plan. So glad we did! Just before our regularly scheduled check-up on a Thursday, our AC went out. The first tech (who was still fairly new) determined the problem which required ordering a part. Unfortunately, this was Memorial Day weekend and we were without AC till the following Tuesday. This tech was far more experienced and realized the problem could be fixed without installing the new part. Within 2 hours, he had the AC up and running beautifully! The best part was because he was able to fix the problem so easily, we werent charged the original $1300 quote. I will continue to use Quigley for as long as we live in this house.
Francisco Sanchez my technician was courteous, professional, friendly, and very detailed in his explanation of the issue. He showed me some tips on how to care for my system throughout the year. I will use Quigley againz thanks to Francisco. Buy this man a bottle of expensive tequila!
After reading the reviews here, I am hoping some positive changes have been made at Quigley. When my air conditioner died a few summers ago, my previous heating/ac company was going to charge me $14,600 for a new unit, but Quigley offered me a mid-priced Trane for $4,700! I took the Quigley offer, a $10,000 difference, and have been happy since. The maintenance techs have been courteous and thorough. I think the key if you have an older unit is to purchase one of their higher-level maintenance contracts, which gives you some extra privileges and faster service.
Great service from Quigley. With two units running all summer long, our electric bills were outrageous. Updating the upstairs unit to a thermostat with a remote has made a big difference cost-wise. I didnt know such a thing existed until the Quigley tech told me about it. Highest recommendation.
So glad I found Quigley!The heating unit sitting on top of our office building decides to go kaput during mid winter. Time is of the essence (I cant let my office staff freeze!) so I hit the phones getting quotes. This is a huge job so shopping around matters.I chose Quigley over other companies because:1) Quick. They were lightning quick getting us a quote. As I said, cant have my staff freezing. Those little portable heaters can only do so much.2) Fair price... and I had checked around. The only lower bids came from individuals, not businesses. Having a warranty and knowing it will be professionally installed is definitely worth paying a little extra.3) Professionalism. From start to finish, Charity, Chris, and the tech staff were professional, quick, and just awesome to do business with.Ill be definitely be using Quigley in the future for other properties I own. Its a relief when you can find a reliable, competent, and fairly price contractor. I found that in Quigley.To all the staff at Quigley, thank you for being awesome!

It’s always a happy time at our house when “Mr Ray” comes to service our HVAC. My mini schnauzer, “Abbie” starts jumping up and down when she sees him pull up in front of our house and then come in with more happy barks. The technician listened to my observations and after doing his due diligence and not initially finding definitive issue, he went further. After a little while it was evident that a relay was failing intermittently. Very happy to have him take the time to listen to me and take the time to define the true issue.

Nothing like a broken air conditioner when it’s 105. Ray from Quigley had it fixed before the temp got above 85 in the house. Extra points for Ray’s service in the Army!
In the middle of a heat wave, they responded to my request and came out in 3 hours. The fixed the problem quickly. This is typical of the superb service I have received for two decades. Today’s rep was Ray, very courteous and skilled.
The temperature was continuing to rise in the house and the thermostat was malfunctioning due to a stopped up drain connected to the unit in the attic. James unclogged the drain, and the house is getting cooler already. James was efficient and gave excellent explanations.
I will not do buisness with Quigley ever again. I had a blower on the air coinditioner that would never shut off, they could not fix or resolve or diagnose the problem. Quigley told me to replace the control board 3 times in 3 consecutive months, and would not honor the warranty on the parts. I made a appointment and the office staff, they forgot to enter the appointment date, and no apologies. If you are looking for a good and dependable company that won’t try and upcharge you, this is definitely not your company unless you like waiting in the heat. Move on and save your money.

When a friend of mine told me to call Quigley AC, I was hesitant to do so after reading the Misty Kyle review. I decided to do some research and found they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, are still family owned and operated, and have been in business for 70 years! I think that means they are doing something right. Also, being a 49 year old widow, I felt good knowing they run criminal background checks on all their employees. During the initial call the young lady really took the time to listen to me and take thorough notes. She clearly communicated to me what the charge would be to perform a maintenance and inspection and that any diagnosed problems would be brought to my attention and repair options would be discussed. The technician arrived when they said he would, diagnosed a minor repair, made the repair while onsite, and was on his way. I received a follow up call the next day to ensure I was pleased with my service.
We have used Quigley since moving to Farmers Branch two years ago and been extremely pleased and have a contract for servicing heating and A.C. units 2 times a year. Notify you when expected to arrive. Polite repairmen

I needed.a furnace repair and was assigned technician George Miser. He called within an hour of my request for servive and followed up several times- so that I knew exactly when he was arriving. He completed repairs and put my furnace back on line in less than an hour. I couldnt be happier.

I called them out to troubleshoot and repair problem. Condensation not draining properly. After servicing coolant condensation decreased as promised but still doesnt drain properly. Promise to follow up after service never happened.

Their team is always very helpful and they are excellent communicators. Never had a problem. When I have had A/C systems go down they are quick to respond and get things back and running as soon as possible.
