Chris did a great job explaining and showing his concerns and talking through anything I had a question on. Great service!Proceeding with an estimate for new ductwork, Jake answered all of our questions and did a great job talking and showing off options. I really appreciated that he asked how long we intended to stay in the house before he got started. That way he could aim the project for us in a practical manner.

Jake Hedrick came out today to give us estimate on insulating attic. He was fantastic. Such great manners and so thoughtful to both of us. We sent a message this morning and they answered within 10 minutes and he came out today. Great great service.THANK YOU JAKE

Great experience from start to finish having my tankless water heater replaced. Pete came out and did the initial assessment and quoted me for the work, and I was very pleased he took the initiative to make sure I was getting the best value for the work by ensuring the exact product and model for my setup that wouldn’t require hiring out a roofer for venting modifications. I felt he really cared and was transparent about the pricing and the work to be done. They came out the same day I green lit the work based on the quoted amount, which is the exact amount I paid (no hidden add on fees) and they did a fantastic job and left everything clean. Highly recommend Hedrick’s!

Jake was terrific! He and his company were very professional and specific with details regarding the appointment. While we were not there for the appointment, he phoned us at the end of the appointment to verbally share details of his findings. Then within a couple of hours, he provided a written report and estimate for repairs/replacement of HVAC unit. I will certainly do business with them.

Ken Cundiff is very professional and knowledgeable regarding his job. It is very easy to speak with him and he explains everything in detail. If you have any questions, he has no problems answering them.

First, the lady on the phone was awesome, then two gentlemen showed up within an hour and were both very professional, clearly knew what they were doing and were pleasant on the eyes to watch while they worked😁.For what initially started as a simple sprinkler check (a non plumbing thing) turned into an all afternoon plumbing encounter that wasn’t bad at all (see above) Fair price too. Ken did a fantastic job! Since nothing appeared to be wrong with our AC, he gave us a good theory as to what was causing the leak. He was very knowledgeable and professional! When our heat went out during the February cold spell I called Hedrick’s around 11:00 am to see if they could send someone out. From that point on the day couldn’t have gone better. First Amanda the scheduler got the ball rolling and kept us informed with updates. Chris our technician was courteous and efficient going out of his way to pickup the part and install it. I even got a call from the president of the company in the afternoon to let me know they had located the part we needed in Garland and we would have heat by the evening. This company provides excellent service that always goes above beyond my expectations every time.

Update 10/25/24 - Our AC went out. Hedricks got to us quickly, identified the problem and made the fix - and did it all in under an hour! Price was good and the same technician Ken, who worked on our system before came out on the service call. That alone was very reassuring. We are totally pleased with the service.I joined Hedricks Service Now yearly service plan when I had some AC work done last August. The Heating inspection was due and carried out today. Technicians were on time, did a great job and spent the time to advise me on optimizing the system. The experience was both good for the operation of the heating system now that Winter is coming and was a great learning experience for me. All of my questions were patiently and fully answered and I really feel so much more prepared to run our system and save money at the same time. Huge vote of confidence in Hedricks and their outstanding technicians.

Connor with Hendrick’s pluming was awesome yesterday. He was a great detective finding the leak that many couldnt find previously. Both my husband and i thought he was knowlegeable and easy to work with AND he cleaned up and put things back where he found them. .

Brady with Hedricks Service Now repaired a tub stopper that wouldnt hold water and a kitchen sink faucet that was leaking intermittingly. Brady was knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant, and restored the areas to the clean condition they were in before he started working. Brady is a true professional and I would definitely call Hedricks and request Brady for my plumbing needs.

2/3/2025Brady Gothard and helper Thruxton did a bang-up job on installing my new water heater. Brady gave me all the options and explained what I didnt quite grasp. He answered all my plumbing questions, even ones that didnt pertain to the job at hand. Installation was neatly done, which appeals to my anal-retentive self. They took away the old detritus and left the place probably a little cleaner than it was before. Hedricks Service Now has been my choice for 20+ years and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.7/11/2024Chris Verkamp always does an excellent job. I just signed up for maintenance with Hendricks and tech Chris Verkamp was out servicing my HVAC unit and noticed the unit in the attic was never installed properly! That was a shock to me since I previously had a maintenance agreement with A#1 Air and they failed to make any mention to me regarding improper installation. My house wasnt cooling properly and Chris helped solve that issue. Im very happy with the service provided by Chris.

This is Chris’s 3rd time at our home (over the past 5+ years) he always provide excellent customer service.

This company just saved my mom $11,600. When her home developed a gas leak, the company she has used for many years quoted a price of $13,000 to replace the gas line. I spoke with the plumber and asked if he had done a leak test. He replied that there was no need as the line was corroded. I gave her the number for Hedricks and they did a pressure test that indicated the gas line was okay but the issue was in the attic. Thanks to Hedricks for doing the right thing.

Chris Verkamp did a great job checking my HVAC system giving me clear knowledge of what he was doing. He also provided good advise on how to continue to maintain and use my system so as to keep it running efficiently. Thank you Chris.

Our hot water heater stopped working while under warranty. Brady came out and immediately noticed that the emergency cut-off valve had tripped and reset it. While here, he rearranged the cut-off valve cord. Before leaving, he explained why the cut-off valve tripped and how I can reset it in the future. He was very patient and answered all of my many questions before leaving. This is another example of the great service Hedrick’s Service Now provides their customers. I rate them Five Stars!!!

Enjoyed working with Brady the plumber eventhough the operator didnt do a good job of scheduling a time but the owner did call me and apologized for the delay since it has to do to their new System of scheduling. Connor was very pleasant. He diagnosed the situation and reviewed the findings and repaired my shower hot water leak.

Alejandro and his team were quick and efficient in installing our new air conditioning unit. The old unit needed some repairs to keep it running and Jake credited the repairs to the cost of the new unit. It had been 23 years since we changed units, so Hedricks Service Now brought the system up to code. We could not be more excited about the new unit.

Ken was very professional, timely and communicative. He walked me through the servicing and ensured the system was functioning as it should. He demonstrated a great knowledge of the system and work he’s doing. He additionally recommended HVAC options for when our older secondary AC unit does kick the bucket. Our first home has been a whirlwind of problems. Conner helped us out when our water heater went out in March, but this time our pipe busted under the house. He was here practically every day working himself as well as making sure the team was on point and on track. He was so committed to getting our water back that he quite literally ended most days head to toe in mud! The hot water handle in my shower wouldnt turn off. Brady looked at it and immediately knew where the problem was. He informed me of the work that needed to be done and the pricing. He had to leave to get parts, came back and not only fixed the hot water handle but the cold water too. He was efficient, professional, informative and friendly.

We have been using Hedrick’s Sevice Now for our A/C and plumbing repairs for many years. We recently had major plumbing repairs under our house after foundation repairs. The foundation repair companies have a clause in all their contracts that they are not responsible for any damages caused by their repairs. We are so happy to have a company like Hedrick’s that we can trust to ensure the repairs we need are performed correctly. We had a minor issue after the backfilling of the dirt under our house and Hedrick’s came out right away and made the necessary repairs. I will continue to highly recommend Hedrick’s Service Now for any repairs you need.

The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. We had to have another company out to check for leaks due to foundation work. The other company said we had foundation leaks that would cost us about $4k to repair. They spent 5 minutes to determine this. Pete and the other plumber where here almost 2 hours testing everything and found no leaks. Honest service is a great thing to be able to rely on.

Ordered a complete HVAC change out, and it was installed quickly and professionally. A/C stopped working, and it turned out to be the breaker in the house panel. A technician was here within an hour, on a Saturday no less, and had a new breaker in within 30 minutes. Yeah the customer service with these folks is impeccable. Just a really courteous, communicative, transparent workflow. The price they quoted me to replace my HVAC was a little higher than others, but there was straight up an issue with the equipment being installed (manufacturers fault) and they took it in stride, got a replacement delivered same day, and got my AC running by the end of the day. I feel confident in the quality of work and that they did things in the right way.

We needed to upgrade our gas pipes. They did an excellent job. They stayed in communication with us and they were very professional.They did the job for the exact amount quoted and cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased. i would strongly recommend Hedricks to any friend or family. Update. With a recent freeze somehow we had a drain line freeze. It backed up when I called they came out and found it was only ice clogging the line. They did their diagnostic and only charged for the minimum fee. I continue to be impressed. They communicate exceptionally well and are always professional.

Jake Hedrick showed up on time, dressed professionally, and with a great attitude. Very thorough with his inspection and gave me multiple options as far as packages, installation, accessories, and time frames go. Love these guys have been using them for 10+ years instead of home warranty company.I do their monthly membership fee. They check my system twice annually as part of my fee.I am a facilities manager for Multifamily and would recommend these guys. If you want cheap don’t waste your time but if you value low cost of ownership and work done right at a fair price. These guys are it!

Conner and Brady did a great job. The guys were fast in fixing the issue and clean up after themselves. They explained what they did to fix the issue and also had videos of the issues. They answered all of my questions. I will definitely call Hendricks again if there is any repairs needed in the future.

He came out to investigate a clogged condesate line. Discovered that an inline valve was closed thus blocked the condensate flow. Opened the valve and all was good. This was instead of another company who also saw this wanting to charge me $300 to unclog the line.

Wanted to share how amazing the experience was. From the initial call for appointment, to the continuous updates and check-ins, to the professional consultation call, the whole process of replacing my systems was easy, hassle-free and great. They explained how everything works, showed me all of the changes and modifications they made to help out with our hot spots upstairs and even scheduled the city inspection for me so I didnt have to do it. I had an appointment today with Hedricks for my AC units. Chris came out and as usual did an efficient job. He did not have any extra filters (not needed until 3 to 4 months down the road) but promised to come back the next time he was in our area and bring them - which he did a week later. Hedricks always does a great job and provides much better service than most other companies. I highly recommend this company!

We had an issue with our a/c. Hendricks, who installed the system years ago, came out for a service call. Alejandro is the best. All the people at Hendricks are great. Every time I talk to them about an issue they do their best to resolve it in the fastest, most affordable, and correct way possible. I will never call another a/c company. Hendricks will always be the only ones touching my HVAC.

Called for service for a failing AC 4:30 in the afternoon. Hedricks had a technician on the way within the hour on the hottest day of the year. Quick diagnosis and reasonably quick repair although a bit expensive (who isnt these days) so I am very happy with their responsiveness and professionalism. Kudos to them.

The technician was friendly and on time for garbage disposal replacement, the sound dampener started peeling off after install, and the company reached out immediately and apologized profusely then offered to send someone asap to make sure it stays attached securely

After spending a couple days trying to get my home warranty company to fix our broken AC, I decided to just pay out of pocket to get it repaired. We had a sudden gas line leak on a Sunday morning. I called Hedrick because we have used them before on some plumbing work and were very satisfied. Their after hours call center got me connected to the office very quickly. They were able to set it up for us to be the first appointment Monday morning. By noon it was all repaired and waiting for the city inspection. Pete was very friendly, professional and took the time to explain everything every step of the way. It was a pleasure doing business with Hedrick again. They made it all very simple.

I have used Hedricks twice now, one for a garbage disposal replacement and the second time for a toilet replacement. Both times were pleasant experiences. Personally, its important to me that I can trust someone coming into my home. The techs are honest, reliable, and do quality work. Ken arrived on time and he wore his shoe protectors and was neat and clean while doing my heater maintenance. He went over everything with the unit and let me know there were no concerns at this time. He helped me set up my thermostat as I had a few questions regarding the heat, emergency heat and settings. He was very informative asked if I had any other concerns or questions and I was very happy with their service.

Chris came out to fix a refrigerant leak. Great guy, very professional, and knows our system. He installed both the Ac and heating , and comes out twice a year on the Hedrick service agreement to tune the system up. Great service at a fair price. Would not use anybody else.

I been using Hedricks Service Now for quite some time (about 2-3 years) and vetted them prior to using them initially. The vetting was against all of the well known companies and the small companies In the DFW area (IE. Bakers Brothers, Nicks/DunRite, and EMS). The technician, Ken, and the Customer Service Agent, Amanda, check every box a customer needs and wants in the way of service. Continues to be the best experience and most consistent performance I have ever had from an AC and Heating service company (Im up in my years, so I have experienced a few service companies). The most recent work was on the AC Compressor unit that decided it needed a vacation and stopped working. Thanks to Hedricks, its vacation was limited to a day. I would highly recommend them.

Hedricks service now does outstanding work, they are not the cheapest but they charge a honest price for the quality of work performed. This is my second time using them and I am very pleased about the work done. I had other companys come to see my problem and was quoted for things that I know werent needed, then Hedricks come out and showed me exactly what was wrong and truthfully gave me the cost for only what was needed. They also have a financing option that allows you to have 18 months no interest if paid in full before the end of 18 months. Sweet..I love these guys, and the fact that the workers are all employees of Hedricks not contracted out as some other companys do is a great plus in my book.. Give them a call and check them out if you think you current service provider is gouging you. I did! So very happy I did too.

A bit startled at the price for installing a new kitchen faucet, but, you get what you pay for, and I am giving a five-star review despite that price. The company kept in close touch with me by email, text, AND phone call as to when the technician would arrive. He was prompt, courteous, competent, and professional, and he did the job in good time. I am very impressed that what could have taken days to fix, was done in about an hour (and only about 2 hours from the time that I called). Took a load off my mind!

Kevin was able unclog the main drainage line and uncovered a bigger issue at hand that I can now report to the city. He stuck a camera down to verify everything was clear and I was able to get pictures of roots bursting through the pipes. He provided great service and was very knowledgeable and informative about what the issue was and what he did to get it fixed, and the steps I need to take in order to get the pipes fixed with the proof needed. Will definitely go back if something else comes up and will recommend to my family/friends.

It really stinks for your AC to go out on a humid holiday weekend. However, it’s very comforting to know you have a company that will come out in less than an hour on a late Sunday evening and fix it. It took Ken about 15 minutes to find the problem and about 20 minutes to fix it. Thank God he had the condenser with him. It wasn’t cheap because like I said the was a Sunday early evening before a Monday. But we would have had to go to a hotel even it couldn’t have been fixed.Hedrick’s is the best. Everyone we have talked to and had in our home is professional, knowledgeable, polite, and helpful.The way all service companies should be.

Hedricks Service Now was out for an a/c repair on a unit installed in November 2021. The terms of the sale was 5 years labor & 10 years parts warranty. My a/c just stopped working in early April 2024. Odd, but nothing to alarm me. I flipped breakers at the panel, at the outside unit & turned attic air handler off & on. Dont know which worked; but, the a/c came back on. It happened again about a month later. I got it to run again but decided to make Hedricks aware of the problem. They advised me to do nothing should it happen again and contact them so they could get a technician out to check the system & get error codes. The system did stop running again May 30th and Hedricks had a technician out within a couple hours. Unfortunately their were no error codes. On morning of June 25th the a/c stopped working again. Alejandro was the technician that came out. Again, no error codes. To my surprise, Alejandro made the decision that Hedricks Service Now would replace the compressor. The team showed up later that afternoon and the new compressor was installed & running by 6pm. It is a breath of fresh air to see a company stand behind its warranty without you going thru a beat down. Bravo to Hedricks Service Now.Brad C.

A technician at another company told us we need a new HVAC system and showed us evidence photos to prove it. I called Hedricks for a second opinion. This company is a rare find. I had a unpleasant experience and when notified the owner themselves called and spoke with me. He called and talked to me out my experience and the issues I had. He apologized perfously and even went as far as refunding the fees that I was charged, due to their mistake. I have read all their reviews and they are outstanding so I think my experience was just an isolated mistake. Mistakes happen, no-one and no company can be 100% as hard as they may try, but it’s how a person/company handles those mistakes that shows what they are really worth. In this case my faith in this company had been restored. This company really stands behind their product, people, and services. Willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy when a mistake is made. Great owner, great business, and great customer service. I applaud this owner/company and will definitely be using them in the future.

Hedricks got a team out the same day when I had an issue with my sinks. They gave me a heads up when the team was on their way (right at the beginning of my requested arrival window!) They were courteous, thorough, reasonably priced.. theres a reason why theyre my first call when I need plumbing issues!

Excellent service! They showed up on time and diagnosed the problem - a rusted out water heater-quickly. Our service tech, Pete Hernandez, was highly professional and even volunteered to work over the weekend to install a new unit. Highly recommend Pete and his company!
