I was extremely impressed with the service! Evan arrived on time and fixed my issue in just 15 minutes. They took the time to fully explain the problem, what signs to watch for in case it returns, and even offered advice on how to help prevent it in the future without needing them. Their professionalism and efficiency are always top-notch. Thank you very much—I hope I won’t need more plumbing fixes, but I know exactly who to call if I do!

I had Cody and Sons come out and do a check of our heater system and also replace a sink soap dispenser in my kitchen. Brandon did a great job on the heater check. Cody and Josh replaced the soap dispenser and got that done quickly and efficiently. They also cleaned up under the sink, which I appreciated. They were all very professional!

I had a busted pipes from the freezing weather. Cody and Sons had someone at my house within the hour. The plumber, Cody D, was great. He quickly located the location of the leak and had the pipe repaired in under an hour. Cody was professional and did a great job.

I had a leak that was related to the sprinkler system. Evan was wonderful in explaining things and suggesting I call sprinkler specialists. Cody and Son’s is the best and most honest plumbing, a/c, heating/air company around. They are the only company I will use for any of those issues.

Recently used multi- generation family owned Cody and Sons,. 3rd generation Cameron was our plumbing tech.and he was fantastic. Well trained by his pops and grandpop. On ttime, quick diagnosis, ran into issues and solved them alll without cutting corners or compromising the system. Had to go into the attic because the issue was plumbing that spilled i to AC issues and he could do both! Very reasonable priced . I highly recommend this family owned business for your plumbing and AC needs

First they told me it would be $89 to send someone out for hvac diagnostic…then they told me it would be $125 ….then they changed it to $289…. I was given 3 different prices in the span of a couple hours. So obviously I cancel hvac. I had plumbing come out to do a scope and estimate on pipe repair a couple days later. I need a report with estimates to give to the seller of a home I’m trying to buy and the tech told me that they would have that report for me in a few hours. Now it’s 24 hours later and I still have nothing. Customer service on the phone sounds absolutely clueless and I’m probably going to lose this house because of Cody and son’s incompetence. Completely unprofessional business. worst company I have ever dealed with in my entire life. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Joseph was the lead and worked on the installation of the sewage line at my residence. He was thorough in his explanation of the project and any possible interruptions to our daily lifestyle. He made sure crews performed their duties efficiently and expediently; and he ensured project was completed timely. The pipes were properly installed and seem to be performing appropriately. Joseph thoroughly evaluated the project through completion. I appreciated that. He was cordial amid my many questions. We have a 90 yr old house with a tricky grade level out to the street. Our newer plumbing was poorly connected to the original system We needed a Master Plumber, and folks with the newest diagnostic tools and lots of expertise. But without a big TV advertising budget We had a BIG job. Think 75 ft of new pipe to the street for starters, plus inside work. There was a miscommunication about the scope of work, but C & S owned it and made it right. They provided great results and attention to small things like: their guys took their time filling, tamping & filling the trench the right way. They were careful and polite.

Jeff was outstanding! He assessed the problem quickly figured out the solution and we had heat within an expected timeframe. A motor was out and he had to actually go pick it up and came back quickly even in the ice and sleet we were greatly appreciative. Jeff is a keeper!

There’s never a good time for your main sewage line to back up or your toilet to start leaking but throw in the weekend 4 days before Christmas and that’s just a recipe for disaster; however, adding Jason to the mix will leave you a very happy customer.! I called Cody & Sons that morning for a rental property and Jason showed up same day.! I was actually flying when he showed up, hence, was unable to verbally speak to provide the authorization to run my card; however, after landing and receiving the authorization to make the necessary repairs he actually turned around and went back to the property to complete the repairs (mind you this is 7p on a Saturday night)! Once I had continued access to talk on my phone, he constantly provided me with updates as well as alternative options in the event our preferred method to repair was unsuccessful. Jason was polite, professional and very knowledgeable about the issues at hand.! My tenants and I could not be happier that everything is back to normal and there’s one less thing to stress about this holiday season.! We are in the process of converting a 2nd floor sun room and closet into a bathroom in our 100 yr. old historic home. Cody (not the same Cody) with Cody and Sons provided a thoughtful and creative solution to accomplish this with minimal disruption at a reasonable cost. He and his team worked tirelessly to execute the plan despite challenging circumstances that you often encounter with old homes. The entire team was very professional, polite and respectful of our home. Although not 100% complete, we are very happy with the work and our experience to date and would definitely use them on future projects.11/30/2024I completed my first review of Cody and Son’s 3 months ago after they completed the initial phase of their work. Christian and Colin were AMAZING! I was receiving outrageous quotes from shady companies and Christian and Colin came in and made me feel so much better. Brandon did a check-up service on our heating system and made a few needed adjustments. He did an overall inspection and made sure everything was working correctly. He was courteous and professional.

We called to get a quote on a small renovation in our bathroom and in the process Cameron discovered a valve in our tankless water heater was leaking so ended up fixing that instead. He walked me through what was needed and was able to fix it that day. He was courteous and efficient. The communication after with the back-end team could be better.

Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable but more importantly he is kind. Whenever I ask questions, he not only answers but will usually show me directly what he is working on and how it may address the issue. He has performed service at our house on 3 seperate occasions and I am beyond thankful for his work.

Awful experience with Cody & Sons.We had a small leak in our shower and called their team a month or so ago. They came out, tested absolutely nothing, and said thats just normal with older houses. Within 5 minutes they were in and out without doing anything to investigate the problem, and they charged us for that.Poor service, but thats not the frustrating part: earlier this week, that small leak all of a sudden turned big - our shower was pouring water out at full water pressure even when the handle was off. We called a different plumber, and they identified the issue within 2 minutes. The exact same issue we had called Cody & Sons for, this other group (Bacon) diagnosed correctly immediately.So we ended up not only paying a call-out fee to Cody & Sons for them to come out and do nothing, but we also had to pay a late night emergency fee to this other group when the leak worsened.We tried reaching out to Cody & Sons for a refund (why should we pay you a call out fee for you to test nothing and completely miss a very obvious issue), and they have not responded.

Cody and Sons have never let me down. We have been having triple digits heat. Within 40 minutes from my call Jonathan was at my door. In no time, he discovered the problem And went right to work on it. I am a widowed, senior citizen that lives on a limited income.I never have to worry about being taken advantage of, they have always treated me right. Jonathan was very well mannered as is all their technicians.I’ve used them many times, and we’ll use them again and again as needed.

Evan is a total rockstar! He is extremely thorough and hardworking and VERY clean on the job! We had a tough job of installing a new soaking tub in place of an old jetted tub and he worked his hardest to get it in the first time. But there was some demo that needed to happen. So I took care of that and today, he MADE it happen. I was so nervous because my nightly baths are my happy place. He did all he could and more to make it work. I am very appreciative of his thoroughness and positive, professional disposition and knowledge base. I’m grateful to Bill Cody and Sons for their consistent A+ work, that I’ve NEVER had an issue with, in the 20 years of using them. They seem to hire the best!

Cleaned and tuned up the unit and it is working great.6-24-24: Evan and Jason came out to fix the undersized drain from the kitchen and remove an improperly installed drain in the laundry.They did a great job and got it all done in one day, left the house clean, and made sure everything was perfect, helped me level the dishwasher, etc.Great work, as always.ORIGINAL: My recent appointment with Cody & Sons was great. They contacted me well in advance on our scheduled day to inform me that theyd actually be early to the appointment, which was considerate since many service providers miss the appointment windows or never communicate their timeframe.Both our technician Matt and his apprentice were considerate of our home and mindful of our pets, not leaving doors open and wearing floor protectors on their boots.Matt was very knowledgeable about the various issues we had and provided comprehensive estimates for the multiple projects we may need.We signed up for their yearly maintenance plan, which is great deal considering what you get for your money.Very happy with the company so far and specifically the folks that came out to help us today.

Jeff was knowledgeable and solved an issue with our specialized HVAC air handler in a professional and methodical way. He tested and retested the system until he was satisfied that the issue was resolved. A shout out to Mike, another experienced Tech who had been equally capable!Joseph was professional, knowledgeable, patient and focused. The repair took longer than expected because calcified shower hardware parts were difficult to remove and the size needed for one part was no longer made. Joseph persevered and came up with a solution that worked well enough for me.

These guys diagnosed my problem quickly and were able to fix the water pressure issue that was causing plumbing fixtures to fail and contributed to our issue today. Other plumbers would make excuses rather than solutions and today we finally got the solution we needed. The team was respectful, helpful and honest. I will use Cody and Sons from now on.

I highly recommend Cody and Sons HVAC and their engineer Collin as well as Christian. Our HVAC was replaced and it was no small task. I live in a condo and the unit is on the roof of the building. It took a crane to remove. Impeccable install, proper size identified by Collin. They will give you options which is nice. Also they have been in business for a very long time, family business and stand by the job. Very happy customer, ty!

I called these folks because I was having an issue with my disposal not turning on. The young woman who answered the phone had me walk through a quick check of the system and hit the reset switch, which did reset the system and have it start working. I know that is a really simple thing, but her approach was refreshing. She saved me whatever a site visit cost might have been and was only interested in helping me. That type of customer service is really rare in todays world. Ill call Cody & Sons the next time I have an issue again, just based on this interaction. Immediate loyalty from me!

Great services but quote came out to twice as much as competitors for a new a/c unit. This company wanted $13,567!!!! Other company charged us $6,800 for the exact same system!!!! Also, they charged me $1,100 for 6 lbs of R-410A. Other company said it should not have been more that $500. Rediculous

Evan explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. The job was efficient and cleaned up. I appreciate his work. I would recommend Evan if you need plumbing repair.

Joseph and Andrew were very effective at two tasks I needed a plumber for. Joshua dealt with a complex shower issue, which he very successfully resolved. At the same time, Andrew replaced a bathroom lavatory faucet efficiently and accurately.Joseph and Andrew were congenial and polite and interacted well with us. Joseph communicated well what needed to be done and what they did.They both used their time at our home very productively and completely. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We asked for a hvac service and the guy came out ( spent a lot of time in his car ) and tried to upsell us on all these repair estimates and didn’t even clean the vents or service anything and charged us $500+. When we called to complain they said they only clean the vents for members? Why wasn’t this information given up front? What did we pay for?! Just terrible! Please take your business elsewhere….

Had a backed up HVAC condensation line that couldnt be cleared. Cameron came out, took it apart, ran a snake but nothing could clear it. He got me an option to rerun the line and use a wider pipe to mitigate any more clogs. Work was fast and looks great.

Update-had backed up plumbing issue and they worked with my condo building, another great example of stellar service!Update-Cody and his partner were professional even though they couldn’t install some fixtures due to the counter size. They did resolve my toilet issue! Update-Mike Boyd personally came over to inspect the installation of my new air handler to ensure it was performing up to standards & it was!Once again their proactive customer centric approach discovered some debris and old insulation that needs to removed and we arranged for a duct cleaning.Thank you Cody & Sons for finally being the solution to ensuring my home is allergen free as possible!Update--Matt and his teamInstalled a new air handler and cleaned up after. Let’s not forget Carla, too!First: Replace leaking hot water heater drain valve (plastic) with the more substantial brass 3/4” MPT valve. This repair would also require a drain and flush. I am rarely impressed with the expertise of technicians that come to my house but my recent experience with Jeff from Cody &Sons far exceeded my expectations. I have been having a persistent issue with my AC that has not been diagnosed. Jeff came with a great attitude that this was a challenge he wanted to solve. He methodically went about testing the system until he discovered the problem. Huge relief that I don’t have to replace my system since it can be repaired. Awesome service.

One of my HVAC units wasnt cooling as efficiently as it had been. I booked an appointment w/ Cody & Sons through their Google profile and was able to schedule everything online. The CSR called to confirm and dispatched the technician, Mike, at the time they promised. I cant say enough about the experience with Mike. He cleaned all the units and confirmed they werent any major issues. I ended up signing up for their annual maintenance plan because of how great the experience was today.

We are a senior couple and the water shutoff outside our house, broke a pipe. Cody & Sons came to our aid almost immediately. Adarius came and fixed the pipe and installed new controls that were old and rotten. He did an awesome job that was very professional, clean and saved us from having no water. We will definitely use this company for any future plumbing needs.

Christian immediately started trying to sell me an over priced air conditioner when mine was still working. He quoted me $4200 and after looking up the part it was only $689 for the split unit. I had Reliant a/c come out and they fixed it for only $200. Always disappointing to have someone you ask for help try to rip you off.

Jason was our plumber. We appreciate the professional and courteous service. Cody also helped when he finished early at another job. Appreciate his knowledge and quality work.

Cody D did a fantastic job replacing our old garbage disposal and figuring out why we had a leak in our bedroom. The toilet in the guest bath was leaking under the tiles and flowing under the wall! He had it fixed in a little over an hour! 10/10 will call again!4/9/24 - JEFF did a fantastic job fixing a small gas leak in our HVAC. I could smell gas and Cody and Sons sent out Jeff right away. Within 30 minutes he was here and had it detected and the gas shut off. He safely replaced a leaky connection and no more smell!10/11/25 - EVAN did a great job finding out why our toilets werent flushing the way they were supposed to! Build up in the main line. He was knowledgeable, quick and courteous. Fantastic job!

Evan and Jason were fantastic! They moved out washer/dryer to a different location in our house. They were efficient and friendly and we would 100% recommend for any plumbing work. I cant speak more highly of a service than the one we received from Jeff this evening. We were deflated thinking about how to fix our AC leak issue after another service checked our unit and quoted us a huge amount, and Jeff was quick to reassure us he was a problem solver and wanted to get to the root of our issue. He found several issues the first service did not catch and solved our issue for a very very small fraction of the first quote - we are so relieved. Jeff was incredibly kind, communicative, and we felt very comfortable with him in our home. Were grateful and will continue to use their services.

Great experience with Cody & sons following a leak in our attic. I called around 9:30a and had two technicians out to house at 11a the same day after being told they really try to give priority to active leaks. The guys they sent were very helpful and gave us two options depending on our budget, and a few hours later we were all fixed up. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use them again!

Warning: Avoid this company for AC repairs! Ive never left a review before, but my appalling experience with them compels me to caution others. The service was unprofessional, inefficient, and utterly disappointing. It took 5+ days to fix our unit, which is absolutely unacceptable. The lack of service and poor communication made the experience even more frustrating. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for reliable AC repair services.

When our AC was out, we had C&S come out to diagnose the issue. They were only there briefly, saying immediately it was a breaker issue and we needed to have an electrician come out. We then paid to have an electrician come out, only for them to tell us the breaker was working perfectly fine and the AC guys didn’t do their due diligence in checking the unit first. Due to multiple inconsistent back and forth calls with C&S, it took a week before our AC unit was fixed, all during the summer heat. Very frustrating experience.

Note: from what we have experienced, this is the standard for Cody and Sons. Weve been working with them since the early part of the century.Christian had to order the part and said he would be back on Friday. He never showed up and told us to stick it.

Joseph did a great job on both plumbing projects at my house. He was very thorough with great attention to detail. He also took the time to explain to me maintenance steps to prevent any further issues in the future which I appreciated.

The work was on a leaky pipe above the hot water heater. They also determined that our washing machine does not have a leak, but the pipe seems to be clogged. Because of the rain, they didnt think that getting on the roof was a good idea. They are returning Monday morning to unclog the roof pipe.

Went to them for a second opinion. Great service. Guys did a great job. Honest and helpful. It was a little tough getting scheduled but nothing too bad. Ended up being cheaper than the other company too. I’d go to them again.

Cody & Sons has helped me out lot over the years. They know what theyre talking about, do a good job, and are professional. The yearly check-ups on heating, air, and plumbing are a great deal, and also if you do that you get on the priority list when things go wrong (for instance, when our pipes froze and burst during the February 2021 snowpocalypse). Im very glad that my neighbors recommended them. Today Cody and Drew came out, and they were great.

Ive been a loyal customer of Cody and Sons for quite some time, but Im sad to say that my loyalty is waning due to their continually increasing rates. I definitely understand that costs can rise over time, but Cody and Sons pricing for their services has reached a point where the cost doesnt align with the service quality, and seems to be beyond reasonable markups when compared to others in the industry.We recently had to have the refrigerant replaced in our AC unit, and I understand that our R-22 is more expensive, but when reviewing costs post, their markup is significant, and Id highly recommend doing your due diligence if your require this service with them. Also, we had them out to replace a shower faucet and their quote was double what I received from another reputable company to do the exact same job.And I know the response on why they charge what they do (ongoing marketing costs such as web maintenance, call centers, scheduling software, supplies, utilities, leases, insurance, labor, truck maintenance, etc.), and I get it, they need to make money and want to take care of their people. I just wanted to educate consumers that Cody and Sons is at the top end of pricing from my experience.Despite my frustrations with their pricing, I must mention that our AC technician, Mike, has always been incredibly helpful. Hes the reason I continued to give Cody and Sons a chance. However, even with great technicians like Mike, the continually rising rates are making it difficult to justify paying for their services.

Totally disappointedMy wife has been calling these guys for the past 5 years and has had great experiences with fair pricing, as fair as you can expect. But the work they did recently to replace ac pump a $60 part costed $625 for 20 min of work. While they tacked on an additional $375 for cleaning the drain line and emergency... they didnt find where it was draining. Work wasnt completed. When i complained they offered to send a plumber but if they couldnt find the line they assured me they would quote me the additional cost. They spent 20 min for a total cost to me of $1000. Wont be calling them again.

I just want to share my experience with Evan at Cody and Sons. The power in my kitchen kept shorting (including sparks coming out of the outlets) whenever I ran the garbage disposal, so I called an electrician. He said my 1950s house didnt have enough power in the kitchen to keep up with all my appliances, and that I should add another circuit to keep the power from shorting. I said I would get back to him. Then I noticed my garbage disposal was leaking. Evan came out and showed me where there was rust around the area where the electricity hooked up to the garbage disposal unit, indicating that it had been leaking for awhile. He replaced my garbage disposal, and presto, no more sparks! I *almost* paid to add another circuit to my kitchen, costing me thousands of dollars. Turns out it was a faulty electrical connection of my garbage disposal because of a leak. Thanks Evan!

My husband and I are so pleased to discover Cody & Sons for plumbing service. On January 15, 2024 / MLK Holiday - during record-breaking cold temperatures and after 5 pm - we suddenly experienced major plumbing problems in our home when we discovered standing water on the floor of our bathroom, standing water in tubs and showers, and no toilets in the house that would flush. We immediately called our regular plumber and were told there would not be any service available until the next day. After Googling plumbing services in Dallas, we began to call / work through the list of service providers looking carefully at online reviews and ratings. We called multiple businesses only to be told there would be no availability until the following day, at the earliest. We were so pleased when Cody & Sons answered our call with a live person and told us they would see what they could do to help us. Shortly afterwards we received a call back telling us Cameron could be at our house in 45 minutes. Cameron actually arrived early. Working with my husband to discuss the issues, Cameron went straight to work outside in the cold and dark and quickly solved the problem. Yes, we paid for after hours service, etc., but that is to be expected under the circumstances. We are so pleased with all - responsiveness, ease of scheduling, and of course Cameron. Big recommendation for the Cody & Sons business!

I had a great experience today with Cody and Sons. We had some dry wall damage on the ceilings due to a water leaks. The technician arrived earlier and was quick to diagnose the problem. He was able to recreate the incident and recorded on video the root cause. He fixed it and showed me pictures of the problem. He finished up and checked to make sure everything else good. Price was reasonable and didn’t seem excessive.I liked how knowledgeable and well spoken the tech was. I would definitely call them again!

Once again, these guys were professional, kind, knowledgeable, and considerate. I loved that I could book online, also they were able to come out earlier than expected! Plumbing issue solved! It’s also a bonus that they know how to work on these older homes from the 1920’s. We will keep using Cody and Sons!

He called before coming. When he arrived I showed him where the A/C unit was. He went to work. He told me what he was doing. When he was through, he told me what he had done. Then he got his tools and went to his next job. He was nice and made sure to close the doors when he went in and out.

Very negative experience. The clean outs Cody & Sons installed backed up after only a day causing my bathrooms to flood. Not sure if they backfilled improperly or if angle is off. Ive been worried about it and called them twice a day to get someone out. The built up pressure ruptured a pipe, and now I have to find somewhere else to live until they can get around to standing by their work or I get a different plumber out here. I want to give them the chance to honor their commitment but Im losing faith in them by the minute.Edited: Once I got through, they got Evan back out here and he took care of me, I will be sticking with Cody & Sons and probably insisting that Evan is my guy moving forward. He stood by his work and is experienced and I believe an honest guy.

This is the first time that I had used this service. I was very impressed with the scheduling. I was given an appointment for the next day but since I only had one bathroom, they put me on the emergency list. Luckily there was a cancelation and they were able to see me the same day.Matt was the plumber assign to unstop my toilet. The problem was corrected in minutes. I appreciate Matt asking me a few questions that helped me determine the cause of the problem.I will use Cody & Sons Plumbing again.
