This company is awesome! I have used the for the past 10 + years and I am still satisfied! They are very professional from customer service to technician and reasonably priced. Sedrick came out and took care of my heating issue and was in and out in 20 min. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very respectful. Metro Air has a standard of excellence they operate by. So if you are reading this review , please give them a call, youll be glad you did.

Im so happy I found a black owned AC and Heating company that fulfilled my needs. I am a signed up member, monthly, and really appreciate how they reach out to me when serving and half year tune-ups are due, sometimes. Keep up the great work, and how much I appreciate, as a member, receiving calls or messages for service appointments. Some backend works still needs to be focused on for members. I have no doubt the kinks will be worked out. Thanks! ☺️Oh, I had a zone control unit installed. I have a small 2 story home, but the upstairs was getting too hot; heat rises, after all. There were hiccups in the beginning, but I couldnt be happier with the outcome. Excellent.....FANTASTIC service! The guy came over two days ago and all it was was the compastor that needed changing out for the outside condenser to turn on. Easy fix. Thank you for the service done. We have AC running well. Our ac went out late last night. We thought it was just hot from the cooking and extra body heat with company but nothing we did was helping. Our last ac got retired so having to look for a new one was not fun. I called this morning after finding them online and they came out sooner than originally expected! Chaz was great! Found the problem right away and was able to fix it and for a lot less than i was expecting! It was 86 and climbing in my house when he finished and its already dropped 3 degrees in about 15 minutes!Definitely recommending them to anyone i know needing ac help!

Ive been using Metro Air so long, Ive actually forgotten when. However what is the most memorable is the staff. My air went out around 04:00. I called the after hours line, they answered quickly and ensure I would get a phone call first thing in the morning.Right past 07:00 I received a return call, insuring someone would be out around 08:30. This followed with a text stating the techs name and timeframe of his arrival.Not only this tech, but all techs that has been to my home has gone above what I expected.One year they replaced everything in the home. These guys were so enjoyable, laughing, making me feel like they were my own sons.The tech today (Sedrick) went over everything, explaining the problem, the solution, price, etc...He fixed the issue within a quick time frame, gave me a senior citizens discount, checked everything on the inside, and outside.Ive never found a company that really cares.Years ago we paid by check and somehow they never received it so my wife called to report it. Weeks later they called asking me to stop by so gave could write me check for reporting the error.

I like Metro Air & Heat because they are reliable once they put you on schedule they don’t keep you holding or waiting like some other company did and they give good service

Wow!!! Metro Air Conditioning Heating, is one of the best around. The staff is very professional and will only repair what is needed. I only use this company. I have done business with them for over 12 years. Prior to that, my sister owned the house and she used the company also. I put my stamp of approval on the company and would recommend anyone to use them.

This is the best AC company in the metroplex. My Husband called Mr. Larry and he was there in flash.. Fixed my AC and had me chillin in less than an hour. After two trips from Metro Air Conditioning and a $350.00 bill, we dont have a resolution. The first trip Larry replaced the Freon and three days later, we had the same issue. He wanted to charge me $265.00 to replace a thermostat. I politely asked him to rule out any other issues before moving forward with the replacement and to call me if that was the only option that would fix our problem.Rather than call to ask me if he could replace the thermostat, he went ahead and did it and called me to let me know I owed him some money.After all of this, our A/C is still not working and were out $350.00 and had to find another company to come diagnose and resolve our problems.I would highly recommend you continue your search for an HVAC provider rather than employ this organization.

For the last 20 years I have used Metro Air Conditioning - Heating Services and HVAC Company located in the Cedar Crest area of Dallas, TX. They have provided superb service AC repair and Heating service, AC installation, Air duct cleaning , Attic insulation installation, and to top it off their 24/7 emergency services are onpoint. I am so happy to be their customer and reccomend them to anyone in need...

Every interaction I had with Metro was excellent. From my initial call, all the follows up to the technician. Devorian Harris came within 30 minutes of my appointment window. Was able to diagnose the problem within minutes and had my unit blowing cool in about 30 minutes. My a/c went out on the hottest day of the year and thanks to Metro my issue was resolved within 24 hours. Very professional company with fair prices and great technicians.

My wife and I called Lowes, and Home Depot along with Metro Air Conditioning. Lowes and Home Depot gave us Higher quotes with lower quality equipment being installed then Metro so we decided to choose Metro for the install. The woman that we spoke with throughout the service procedure Rachel along with the installers were all highly professional and timely! The company (Metro) arrived immediately. They completed their research, did their review, waited for us to make a determination and once we made our selection Metro was here the Next Day! We have a Brand new house that was constructed last year. Metro installed a higher quality air conditioning system than the system that came with the home which is amazing to me. Called for an appointment on Friday (not an emergency) had Ron out the Saturday morning. Office staff is amazing, polite and professional. We had to call several times to arrange schedule because of a funeral. They were helpful and again so polite! We needed a new unit and it was installed the same day. Ron and installation crew were great. We’ve used several other companies and these guys are top notch.

Larry was able to quickly fix my thermostat issue on a weekend call. He was professional, friendly and took the time to inform me all the steps he was taking throughout the service call. Metro Air will be my first call anytime I have another issue. Highly recommend.

Im so glad that I found this company! Amazing customer service! We needed assistance with our AC on a Saturday night and they were out within hours of our call. Larry fixed our AC until we could get the replacement part on Monday and thanks to him we didnt have to turn off our AC in the Texas summer. Devorian arrived on time and got right to work on my AC. He was professional, polite, and personable—explained everything that was wrong and how he was going to repair it, as well as gave a price breakdown for everything before getting started on the actual repairs, so that I could decide if I wanted to go forward or not. I didn’t catch the name of the dispatcher, but she was also kind and professional, and answered all of my questions very patiently. AC repair is always expensive but I feel that Metro was fairly priced and worth it for the quality and professionalism. I would 100% use them again in the future, and have already recommended them to two neighbors who are having AC issues as well. If it’s important to you (it is to me) Metro is Black owned and operated.

I love Metro Heating and Air! They were a lifesaver Saturday! My warranty company was supposed to have someone contact me about my air not cooling after I contacted them on Friday. It is now Monday and I still have not been contacted. Well, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Because it was too hot to wait on my company through the weekend, I called Metro, and they sent Larry out. Larry was very professional and laidback at the same time! He fixed my unit and I didn’t have the feeling that I was going to be swindled some how. Great service! I am ending my services with my warranty company and keeping Larry’s card for future use! Metro Air is a Life Saver in TX heat!!! Honest and trustworthy. Professional and very responsive. I have been a customer for 20 years and never disappointed.

These guys are awesome!!!! I woke up at 8am Sunday morning in JULY and my AC WAS OUT! I called three other companies and they either did not answer or I left a message. When I called Metro AC Dewayne answered and told me he could have someone out today, he also explained their emergency call service fee of $150.00 but I totally understood since it was Sunday morning. He took my information and told me a technician would call me within the hour. Larry, the technician called me about 15 min later and said he could be there by 1000am. Dewayne called me back about 45 min later to make sure Larry had called me and set up a time. Larry showed up at around 950. I showed him where the compressor was and that it had been running but the fan had not been spinning. He looked at everything and came in and explained he felt it was only the capacitor but it might be the motor. His plan was the replace capacitor and if that didnt work we would change out the motor. He replaced the capacitor, checked the pressures and temps coming out of AC, changed out my air filter (which he did not have to do) and was done by 1100!! Larry was nice and used shoe covers and was very professional! Metro air conditioning will be my new go to AC and heating repair and maintenance shop!!

Great and quick service. I needed emergency service for my AD on a Sunday morning and within the hour they had someone knocking on my door to help. Dewayne assisted me by finding an awesome technician, Larry DuBose, and immediately I was comforted that all will be all right again in my house. Larry did a great job diagnosing the problem, giving me a solution and making me feel comforted for what I was about to spend. Reasonable pricing and great customer service!!

Another satisfied customer. Larry and his crew were prompt and professional. When he first came to diagnose the issue, he said he would get back to us and work with us on a price. He was true to his word. The unit was moved and we can now watch and talk without the unit trying to talk over us. There is now even heating throughout the house. I am glad that our paths have crossed and to know that there are honest people who will provide the type of service needed.

I cannot recall the name of the lady that dispatched Larry to my house when my AC stopped working but I talked to her at 9 am and she was still working when I called back at 8 pm to check the status of my repairs. She made sure that a technician got over to my house that day.Larry did a fantastic job on my AC unit. He came by on his way home from work and made sure that I had AC in these hot Texas summer days. He checked the entire HVAC before finding the cause for my unit not working. He ran down the price for fixing it before making repairs. He fixed it and waited till the unit started cooling again.I am so thankful to Metro AC for the incredible work by there employees. I highly recommend their services.

My indoor unit went out in the middle of July. Its burning up outside and quickly catching up on the inside. I needed a quick fix and when all other companies were telling me it would be days before they could come check out the problem Metro Air were prompt and professional. I had work done on a commercial building. I felt their service charge was very reasonable. The girl in the office provide GREAT customer service, I wish I remembered her name. They came out same day and gave me a very reasonable quote for new units. Our technician was Marvis and he was very thorough and very informative. 12/15/16 the Contractor that was sent by Metro Air Condition, Heating was on time for the appointment, professional and did a Great job.The contractor installed the Nest thermostat and did not take very log to install but the contractor tested the Air conditioner and Heater several times before he said he was finished. I would Highly recommend that particular contractor to friends and family. I would give this contractor that came to my house 10 stars instead of 5 because he was point and did a great job and quickly.Duke

He is a very knowledgeable person and willing to spend the time helping me choose your company as well as choose the right packages for my heating and air conditioning needs. The work was started that same day. Renee and his crew did a wonderful job. The work was well done and the cleanup was very professional. After the work Marvis came back explain the warranty and what the future looks like with the units themselves. Management should be well satisfied with the people in the field. We had an issue with our air conditioning unit and could not afford a new one at the time. Metro gave us the usual options but we could not handle that either at the time so they they gave us a alternative that we could handle, my stubborn Husband chose not to take the deal. Three days later living in the house without air only using fans, he decided to see if the offer was still available. Metro honored the deal at a lower price. thank God for Mr Lewis who found the problem but Mr. Larry DuBose turn on the air my hero! he was very polite and friendly like he had known us all his life. He also gave us some sound advice on getting the best usage of are unit. I highly recommend this crew to everyone.

I first want to note that their customer service is EXCELLENT which is a rarity these days with most transactions happening online. I purchased a new unit from Metro Air Conditioning last year and one year later (almost to the date) it started short cycling.... Come to find out, it wasnt the unit at all! After several trips to my home, trying different tactics to resolve the strange short cycling issue, their master tech Larry managed to isolate the problem and get the unit back up and running. Turns out I have a totally unrelated problem with my drainage system that was causing the AC to back up and shut off. (I needed a plumber not an AC repairman) Best part is that Larry showed me how to maintain the system myself so as to prevent it from backing up in the future, which will save me $$ in the long run. Great service.

Had a great experience! Chaz showed up on time, listened to my issues, checked the system, and then explained what he found. He gave me an estimate, which I agreed too, then picked up the part that evening. He returned the next morning to install the part and was done in a couple of hours. I called them this morning and they had someone out the same day. I was told between 12 and 2, and he came promptly at 12. He explained the issue, gave me the cost and started the repairs. He gave me tips to try and prevent the issue in the future.I appreciate that he was polite and didn’t mind my son “helping” even though he was really in the way.I would recommend them to anyone needing service.

Id like to thank Ron & crew for the good work installing my new ceiling air vents and ducts. They were on time. Did a good job cutting out holes for new vents. Left no traces of ceiling debris on my floor. The new vent locations work great.

Metro offered an $89 inspection, but it turned out to be $125 for a leak inspection. The quote they gave me for an entirely new system was $8,000 but they did not specify what brand, size, or warranty - just $8K was going to give me something. The first tech came out and left my duct work in the attic sliced open so whatever cold air I had went to the attic for two days. I talked to Rochelle, the office manager who promised me a refund for the inconvenience, and sent a second tech. Ive emailed them requesting them to be specific, but no reply yet. Very poor customer service! Who would pay $8K for an unknown product - not me.

I have been using this company for years, they are responsive, professional and make sure they get the problem fixed, even when have to make multiple trips to ensure it’s right. This is a first class operation. They arrived right on time with everything I needed (new thermostat). Family-owned, professional, attentive to customers needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone! A pleasure to work with.

Used twice, first time very happy with service tech did not come at the time stated had to call to get tech to my home. But service seemed fine. Next called to come out tech did not show or call, had to call 3-5 times for service but tech never showed or called. They stated he was still at another job 6 hrs later. Ended up cancelling the request and going with someone else. BAD Customer Service !

Let me just say, even having to deal with no AC in the middle of summer, working with Larry and metro AC made the experience as pleasant as it could be. We were struggling to find a major leak in our unit for a couple weeks and Larry made sure to always take care of us. He even ended up filling us up with coolant the day before 4th July just so we wouldn’t be hot, knowing he couldn’t see us until after the holiday. Great company! Great owner! So glad we have them to rely on.

My AC went out on a Sunday afternoon. Metro AC had someone at my house within 1.5 hours of calling. Devo was my technician. He had my AC back up and working within an hour. Devo was professional and explained everything to me. He also did my summer tune up. Thank Devo for the great service!

I was having issues with my A/C unit the other day and I was so lucky that Ron was available to help. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to get the system up and running again. He was incredibly friendly and the consummate professional. I can not recommend him highly enough!

Metro Air was prompt and knew what they were doing, Got my air going in 30min and recommended preventive maintenance to my unit. I especially like the follow up call the next day to see if everything was still ok.

I called this place around 6 in the evening last night. It’s late July, so I figured they would be busy and put us out a day or two just like the other 2 AC companies I called the day before. I was surprised to see that a very professional secretary answered phone at that hour. One of the first things she asked was if we were without air and when I answered “yes” she said they would do their best to fit us in that evening. About 30 mins later she called back and left a message stating that they would be at my home within the hour. My son had taken my phone to another room so I missed her two calls that were 15 minutes apart. I thought this was note worthy bc most companies won’t call twice. A technician came to our home and in an hour he replaced the wire that kept our unit from functioning. Furthermore, he gave my husband advice on the yearly cleaning our unit needs in order to stay in shape. Don’t waste your time looking for any other AC company these are your guys!

Had an area in the office that was not getting any airflow. Ron Johnson came out and told me what he would do to get it fixed, and not only kept adding services and upcharges. Started at $700, then ended up at $1300 after taxes. I asked him, will this fix the problem, he said it was be cold and the coldest area and this will take care of it all for you. Turned out that it didnt fix the problem. We called them back out, now all of a sudden he finds other issues, that are keeping it from getting cold. Now he wants to charge me another $1100.00 Not happy with the quality of work, and feel like I was lied to directly to my face. Will not recommend this company to anyone.

I have used this company for 10 plus years and I must say each time the Customer service and Technicians are always nice. Thanks Devo! Did I mention timely which is a plus and they havent ever recommended a ridiculous upcharge to make money. They are really good and very professional!

I called them out for an Advertisement of $69.00 check-up. when the service tech arrived he said the refridgerant was low and that we had a small leak. We were told they couldnt add R22 knowing it had a leak and finding the leak could cost as much as $2000. So they went straight into the A/C sell pitch and tried to sell us a $12,000 system. so all we got for $69.00 was a freon check and a A/C sales man. We called another company and was up and running for less than $200.

Service calls are not responded to timely and requests by phone for assistance with a large leak from the unit installed in July 2016 have not been successfully handled by the company. Was told I needed to talk with Larry Dubose to resolve repairs to damaged kitchen floor and he has not responded.

Ron, was absolutely amazing! Our A/C was leaking and caused it to be extremely hot for about 3-4 days. My mother had severe bronchitis all throughout. He figured out the problem, came each day, sometimes at night to fix it. On the last day, He was finished but my mom and our family was his main priority, because she couldn’t be in the heat for long, he would come check on her if my father or I weren’t home. He was so helpful, kind, time efficient and wanted to make sure we were all taken care of. If anyone needs anything please ask for Ron. He is fantastic and i know that the next time something happens whether it be heat or A/C that’s who we will call! THANKS RON!!

Appreciated the timeliness and ability to get my AC fixed. Pretty frustrated that they changed pricing for the diagnostic. Diagnostic was an additional $150 over what I was originally told. I was able to get them to refund $100 of the overcharge. This is on top of the $200 diagnostic charge (with ladder) that I agreed to and all of the charges to fix the units.

What a pleasure to work with this company! Very professional- the quote we received was very detailed and all work done was exactly as quoted and the price was very reasonable. The crew was very detail oriented and they installed in a timely manner and left the work area very clean.

I called and they came to my house on short notice to fix a zone control issue. I got a new board and it was installed within a day. I love the service that they give and very polite technicians.
