Indoor Comfort Experts up graded my two story home from one single ac to zone ac, it was a big job in my eyes. they isolated my existing ac to down stares only and installed a new 2 ton air handler and condenser unit for upstairs. the work that was dune was top of the line and the crew was very professional. the rep from ICE (Colton) was very knowledgeable he came and laid out the plans for all that needed to dune me and my wife were very impressed by this young man. The owner of ICE William took the time in multiple emails on how the electrical had to be to support the extra unit. Office personnel was also very professional. The new ac works better than we could have imagined, were so glade we went with Indoor Comfort Experts.Thank You all
I have to say that I am really impressed with the customer service this company provided. They were very timely and stayed in contact during the scheduling process. The technician explained what was going on with our furnace and made the repairs. My mother has health issues and with the weather being cold we had to have heat and the company delivered. Small company with big results!
I’m in Crosby, Fan motor went out during the snow storm, called them and they were here within a couple hours. Colton was a gentleman and very professional, replaced everything within 1 hour. Will definitely be using them again.
Disrespectful technician- I gave the tech my gate code and requested a txt or call when he arrived at my gate He did not do that. I heard someone talking to my maintenance worker and went out. I asked him why he did not call as I had requested. He replied back he was on the phone. I then told him that was my request and it should have been followed, so I could direct him to the correct house. I am upstairs in our warehouse, and he is parked downstairs. I gave directions not once but 2xs to follow down the road pointing which way to go to the White House on the left and was still he was confused. I asked him how he was confused and he said you are not going to talk to me like that and he left. Yes, I was irritated because he was unable to follow ANY instructions. I walked in to call the dispatch and she asked what I wanted her to do, seriously maybe offer another tech without an attitude. I told her he could not follow simple instructions. He was unprofessional from the beginning and the tech had immediately canceled the service and the office offered no solution. This is poor customer service! **Note added: With the owners response, we now see why there are issues with professionalism and customer service at this company!
My AC stopped running. Got in touch with my home warranty and got a pretty quick appointment with Indoor Comfort Experts. The young lady that called was very professional and concerned about my issues. Colton the tech that showed was also very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the issues and and was extremely fast at completing the work. I would definitely recommend this company.
Great overall experience. I contacted this company based on a trusted referral. The service I received from Indoor Comfort Experts with Seth was wonderful and smooth as well as to schedule an appointment during a high-demand season. Seth was great at explaining the whole process and my issues (a failed compressor and condenser) so that I fully understood. Will definitely keep Indoor Comfort contact saved for future work related to air or heating plus possible attic insulation. Happy to refer to your conditioning needs....
San Angelo area:They were extremely rude and unprofessional. Upon reading the other reviews, I see this is a very common thing for them. Even reading their replies to these reviews you can sense the disdain!The first time they came out, we had to reschedule because the air conditioning froze up. He made a comment about not having the unit off which I questioned and he instantly came off a little aggressive and defensive about it saying I was told to shut it off (which I don’t believe I was, but to avoid further argument said maybe I miss heard the receptionist. He then came back with “I’ll listen to the recording” yeah, ok buddy. Whatever just seemed unprofessional and childish).Second time my mother had to be there to let them in due to scheduling conflicts. Two people came out this time and right away the owner came off aggressive and like he did not want to be there he treated us like we were stupid. American home shield needs to remove them from their provider list. If you do happen to get stuck with them, request another pro. I do highly recommend Westex Air.
Even with a 4 hour window, they arrived early. They fixed my issue and didnt try to tell me I needed thousands of dollars worth of work (like a previous co.). Very Profesional and it was covered under my home warranty with no additional cost.
Would give this company 10 stars if it would let me!! We bought a new home (Built in 2020) and after a week of moving in our AC went out, we made one phone call told them our issues, even tried to help us troubleshoot the situation before coming out. As a result they came out the very next day (On a Saturday!!) at 8 AM. Had everything fixed, with a brand new Unit within just a few hours! We are so so thankful for this company, and how quickly they came to our rescue! Will forever recommend this company to anyone who asks. The best there is!
May be a long read here but I feel this is deserved. I first contacted AHS for warranty repair on my AC late July 2023. Indoor comfort specialist was assigned to my ticket, after they came out and diagnosed my issue it was found that my evaporator coil had a leak, needed a new one. AHS would cover this but I was still going to be out of pocket a little over 2k for work that needed to be done to ensure my system was updated and working properly. Yes, it stings a little but remember this is between me and the home warranty and if I want to place blame it starts there. I had the work completed and here we are 35 days later to find out it’s blowing warm air. I call AHS again to submit my ticket. Indoor comfort specialist come out to find a blown capacitor, they have it changed and cooling down my house in no time. Same day appointment and service. I for one APPRECIATE their office staff for getting me in so quickly, Seth for taking care of the issue so quickly and the whole company for the way I have been treated. I would highly recommend them to anyone and happy to say I will be using them moving forward with or without a home warranty! At the end of the day we are all human, treat people the way you want to be treated. Thank you again Indoor Comfort! Y’all are the best!!!
Had a wonderful experience with Seth. The company quickly made an appointment with us after we submitted a request to our home warranty company. The person who scheduled our appointment was very nice and professional she explained what we needed to do to prepare for the visit by the tech. Seth called me about 10 - 15 min before he arrived which gave me the chance to be ready for him. I truly appreciate this!! Once he arrived he was professional and took the time to answer our questions and explain everything about what needed to done with our unit. I would highly recommend this family owned business for all of your air conditioning needs.
I am a business owner, so I understand the summer has been challenging but this company is the most unprofessional company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. It’s impossible to get them on the phone or a call back. They are late, non responsive,rude and unprofessional. when I called to speak to them to come to a resolution, they basically made me the problem and did not want to rectify the situation.If you look at the positive reviews and the negative ones it appears that when they respond, they try to blame the customer and be dishonest. This was my experience with them as well and then on the reviews they try to turn everything around. It’s like American home shield customers which I am one appear to get the poor service. I’m sure that it’s hard to do business with America home shield but if they’re going to treat America home shield customers badly because they don’t like their deal with them then they should just not deal with America home shield.
We had an issue with our thermostat and the AC wasn’t going on. We were blessed to have William come out again, he helped our family with HVAC needs about 4 months ago. I WILL NEVER EVER use them again. First visit, technician informed us have to order one part. The parts didnt arrive 6 weeks later, there was no communicate to let us know what is the status. I had to call them 3 or 4 times to get the update. On the second visit, he told us that we had to hired an electrician to remove the post, he COULD have save our time to allow us to search for someone. But he didnt, had to reschedule, on the third visit, the part he ordered was another wrong part for the ac. Had to reschedule again. On the last visit, he came with the right part. Before he left, I had to get him cuz he seems in a hurry and wanted to leave, I had my suspect why, then later my ac was still not fix. So, I call again and told him that our AC is not working he say it should be working in the next 24-48 hours. which never seem to work. I fed up with this company and hired another ac company. From what the other company said that this indoor did something that only the technician know what he was doing. I had NO AC for 3 months in the torment heat. So I am putting star 1 and negative. I would never use this company again.
Just experienced the best service ever from a ac&heating company. I messed up a few parts trying to install a new thermostat that seemed straight forward but was not after whole unit shut down, and house got hot quick, posted online about it because a hot house and a 2 month old baby don’t mix. They reached out willing to help, also this is a time frame between 11pm and 3am in the morning. I got the parts and came home and had a 1on1 facetime with the owner on how to hook everything back up the right way. Super grateful right now. They saved the night. Thank you. Glad I found a new AC company.
I would rate theseunprofessional company a zero but I dont have the option. Send sent the information tag which states all about the a/c compressor and the owner wife said they would have the.compressor on the truck and we we be up and running the same day. The tech came out to our home with no .compressor he said if we bought directly through them the could do it the next day. We wait 5 days for this to happen 100 degree weather. Then my wife called the to question why the compressor wasnt.on the truck and they said that the owner wife didnt tell.y wife that information. So the rude owner gets.own the phone and cancel the order!! Very unprofessional. I Will also. Report.therse crooks to the bbb.stay away.please!!0 stars!!!
I was given a window of 10-2 for my warranty appointment. I had not heard anything at 1:45 so I decided to call the company. The rude female that answers the phone called my technician who said he was finishing up a job and then headed my way. Well I get a text at 2:09 to call the company because the tech could not get in touch with me. He then calls me back and says that I took longer than his 5 minute wait time to call him back and he had already gone on to another job. Keep in mind I had just spoke to the company at 1:45 to let them know I was still waiting at the house for them, so they know I was there. The owner calls himself Christian but definitely does not uphold those standards in his business. You can further see this in his replies to the many other unsatisfied customers. So glad my home warranty company quickly sent a new company out that came in their scheduled time frame and did not have the attitude of this company.

My a/c went out after hours, and, after calling a couple other companies, ICE was the first to answer my call and show up. They quickly found the problem and came back out the next day to fix it. Quick, honest, and professional. I’ll never use another a/c company.
We started having A/C issues on a Wednesday night and noticed our indoor air handler was flooding the catch pan. We cleaned up what we could, and called ICE the next morning.Seth came for the service call and fixed our drain line that another company had installed incorrectly. While he was there, he noticed the compressor was failing, and tried his hardest to find us a replacement part.Ultimately we had to purchase a new outdoor unit. Seth knew we were in a bind (you know - Texas weather and all that...) so he located a new unit for us, and even skipped his day off to install it for us.Seth and ICE have gone above and beyond on their services to assist us, and they now have a customer for life.
At first this company was very nice The longer the problem went on with our A/C the communication between the owner and us went down hill. When we wanted answers he couldn’t give them. Having to deal with Home Warranties is a big pain not only for us home homers but the companies that contract with I understand. All we home owners want are straight answers. Not blames others.When the tech first came out said my problem was the Nest so he replaced the thermostat. It didn’t work. Called the company later and told him what was happening and how often the fan was kicking on and off and how long it stand on (12 seconds and 17 seconds). The owner told me that a mother would surely fix it. Waited for almost a week and called a few times just to get an estimate time of arrival ( found out that they had tracking number for it and knew when it was coming in). Which they had now idea how long. It came in on Monday morning they called and set an appointment for Wednesday morning. A different tech came out and put it on. Guess what. That wasn’t the problem. The problem he said this time was the furnace.I called again about the time limit for when it would be in. No glue I know it’s up to the home warranty company to do all this. Having dealing with both of these companies for a month is to say the least frustrating. Right hand don’t know what the left hand is doingI was getting frustrated yesterday and wasn’t the friendliest to the owner and he returned the unfriendliness right backHe did however do some off the clock work for me he said and I do and did appreciate thatAll three of us ( home warranty William and myself) were in the right and the wrongI think if you want great service for this company don’t ask any questions and don’t call them or William will remove himself from your contract and leave you in the heatAgain William did an ok job
Our home owners warranty company sent indoor comfort out to check our AC unit. This is the 2nd time this company has come to my home. The technician we had was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this company.
Indoor comfort Experts is by far the best A/C and Heating company around! During the busiest time of the year, with schedules booked 4 days out, they were able to squeeze us in and repair our AC so that we weren’t sitting in miserable temperatures for days. They were in an out within just a few hours of calling. Very reasonable pricing and amazing people! They will be my first call every time!
Unprofessional, this company does not even deserve one star.My experience with Indoor Comfort Experts A/C, or the lack there of was terrible. These guys were scheduled to come out and fix my A/C. My scheduled appointment time was five days from the date of scheduling and between 8am and 12pm, you would think that five days and a four hour window would be a sufficient amount of time for them to show up. Well that being said they never showed up, and never called to inform me that they would be late or to reschedule.The morning they were scheduled to arrive I called them at 8am and they assured me that they were on their way. I again called them at 10am just to be sure they were coming (I had been without A/C for five days, I was a little anxious) again they assured me they were on their way. It wasn’t until I called them at 12:15pm that the excuses started, “We’re double booked, we’re this, and we’re that). At this point their excuses didn’t matter, they had five days and four hours to inform me of any scheduling issues.I rescheduled with a different contractor that came out the same day (a few hour after Indoor Comfort Experts A/C had missed their appointment) and the new contractor had my A/C running within 20 minutes after arriving.Indoor Comfort Experts A/C wasted an entire week of my time. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.
Very bad company....looks for any little excuse to jack the price up and very bad communication... have been without ac for over a month due to their incompetence..decided to give them a try, even when they were over 2 hours late to the initial appointment but they tried to bill almost $1,000 on top of what they had already charged my home insurance. definitely would not recommend
We initially started using Indoor Comfort Experts due to our home warranty but liked them so much that we now do their yearly service agreement. They are always upfront and professional. The technician has always been open about what is and is not covered by our home warranty and makes sure we understand everything when evaluating any needed repairs. Love them!
Seth and his helper came out and quickly identified the issue with my home AC, they were very kind and professional, they took the time to explain questions I had in reference to the system and how to keep it in top shape. My wife and I have two small children we take care of and the response time from when I called and my appointment time was impressive. I will be contacting them to schedule a unit check up in the near future.
Husband took off work and company didn’t show up. When he called to check on technician they told him the first time that they would be running late and promised they would be at our home. Then company called two hours after he called and said they would not be coming out till the next day. Who knows if that’s even true. By this time it was after 5PM and he had been waiting all day. Another night without AC in this hot summer weather. I should have payed attention to their horrible reviews and called someone else. Thank you Indoor Comfort Experts for your great service. Ugh!
This receptionist is very polite and professional however, the quality of service is poor. I received service from Comfort experts through America shield ( they have awful service) . After waiting 4 days for the technician to come out to my home, here it is 2 days later and my home AC is still not working. I call the company personally to try and resolve the matter. The receptionist told me they will not come until Monday, which is another 4days. This is a complete nightmare dealing with both companies. My family is in the middle of summer in extreme heat with children , one being a newborn. I would not do business with this company but this is whom my home warranty chose.
Always great tune-ups on my AC/ Heating system. Prices are fair, however they raised prices this year and I have to re-evaluate other companies. I removed some star ratings due to them now charging a credit card processing fee 4% in addtion to the actual cost even though I offered cash up front but no change was available, then my AMEX was turned down by them.When I asked to have the credit card fee refunded or applied as a credit for the next service was told NO. I told them I have a choice for another company that wont charge this fee or can make proper change for cash.Instead of making it right for the customer,Owner thought I was rude and wanted to no longer service my home, and canceled my maintenance contract. Ok, glad there are other companies out there to take my business to.
Waited from 5/5/23 to 6/5/2023 for a pre check due to summer weather. I built this house in 2017, system was 5 years old so I thought I would try the pre check before summer weather . It was scheduled 9-12, he never showed up, I had to call and he finally showed up @ 3;30 and it was raining so hard I specifically ask him if he wanted to wait due to the rain and he stated no, but was only gone a couple of minutes. I didn’t see how he could see anything as hard as it was raining. He then went to the attic and ask my son in law for bleach to make sure something was draining or working correctly. He was up there maybe a minute . It was raining so hard that day, I can’t fathom what he did in two to three minutes (if that) outside . Two weeks later it was blowing warm air , I didn’t really comprehend until I realized that my light bill was going up and it was continually to blow warm air even after adjusting the thermostat . I called and the staff and one lady was yelling we are not trying to sabotage anything . I informed her I didn’t say you were sabotaging and she continued to tell and finally hung up on me. So do I call AHS and pay another 100.00 for them to come out and risk sabotaging since she was so adamant that they didn’t sabotage 😳. Wow as hot as it is and I’m trying to find out what is wrong 😑. I can’t believe she yelled and screamed as such 🫢😳😑🤔#2. It seems as if there is a common denominator, almost everyone if not everyone is rude that write poor review on your company. That can’t be! Then you add God! Why would you do that ? Please don’t put God in your craziness!
Best A/C company experience ever! Indoor Comfort Experts! William and his whole crew are amazing! He went toe to toe with my home warranty company and kept me from getting taken advantage of. Honest, fair and genuinely great folks! Id give em a score of 100 but thats only because they only go up to 100! Highly recommend!
So, I wont lie. My home warranty company automatically picked them to come out and check out our AC. I usually always read reviews before I use someone and I was a little worried because of some reviews they had but upon reading them it seemed like a lot of the bad reviews had to do with home warranty customers like me and them just being mad mainly over stuff ICE really cant help. I am not one of those people, I read my contract and knew what was covered and what was not and wasnt going to hold that against them. Younger gentleman showed up well within the appointment time. He was polite and seemed as if he knew what he was doing. Our AC was dirty,needed a new compaciter and was low on Freon. He cleaned it out, put a new compaciter in and unfortunately I didnt have enough cash at the moment to pay for the freon but he called in and was able to get me set up to come back out with no extra call fee (Yassss! LOL) As soon as he left, I called into the office and set up another appointment for Monday. Unfortunately we did have a miss in communication of the appointment and I was not put on the schedule for Monday. The lady remained polite (even though I was being a little snappy because HEY, Its hot as Satans kitchen and I had been cooped up in one room all weekend long with a window unit and with 3 kids who where hot and driving me crazy and I was over it all LOL) She apologized for the issue and she was able to get me on the schedule the next day. I had my second appointment today and this time a different gentleman came and again, he was super friendly and nice, he was quick and the price came out cheaper than expected. AND a big bonus is that already feel it getting cooler in here, I am so happy! So, overall we had a good experience and we would use them again and glad I didnt shy away from them from the previous reviews from home warranty customers. Read your warranty coverage, double check your appointment day and time and you will be good to go. Thank you guys!
A/C just stopped working. I am a Disabled Veteran and just getting over cancer. Their Tech Colton came in and diagnosed the problem and fixed it and done in an hour. Colton was polite and professional (As a grumpy old man...good customer service is a plus).Now I have cool air, happy wife and working system! Thanks
We had a good experience. My husband said the man that came out was very nice and hopefully fixed our issue; it sounds like he did. We have a old unit so other things will be happening. I called to ask a few more questions to understand what work he did on our unit and the lady that answered was very respectful and nice. She helped me understand what he did and what he fixed. So thank you! No complaints here. We look forward to working with this company again.
Worst company ever! Told us lies every day ! Left us in 100 degree weather with no ac for 3 weeks with a it’s going to be Tomm we promise …everyday at end of the day same story ! Dropped the ball on it all and wanted to blame the home warranty as they always do judging from the other reviews! Then after 3 weeks of me and my kids sitting in a hot house with 100 plus degree texas weather 🤦🏻♀️ of course I’m upset anyone would be …I say to them of course your happy ..you go home to ac every night …they immediately started screaming at me you don’t know what I go home to at night women 😂🤦🏻♀️ save yourself the time and heartache go somewhere else because you will stay hot and be treated like trash here!I wish o would have the reviews before agreeing to do business with this crazy company! Lol 😂 so many put in the same situation as me and the owners reasoning is we are rude ! No way everyone is rude and you’re right! but hey do what you need to if it helps You lay your head down at night while your customers and their family’s are strung along by you and your “company” for weeks to suffer in this heat!
After waiting 10 days for someone to show up, the service was OK but the technician was very condescending and talked to me like I was ignorant. After I explained I had 30 years of experience in facility management including HVAC, he changed his tune, but damage was already done. Wont be calling them again. Choose to provide poor customer service and customers can and will chose another service provider.
If I could give zero stars I would. Canceled appointments and when they do come over here they made it worse than what it was. Condensate line was clogged asked them to come and fix it. Guy come over said he would take care of it. Said he would re-insulate pipe. He’s gone now and leaking worse than ever about 5-6 hours after he’s gone. Didn’t re-insulate pipe and don’t fix problem. Brought up several things to him that I thought needed to be addressed and he said looks good to him. Obviously wasn’t ok. Now Sheetrock damage along with electronic equipment below. Called company and woman answered then guy got on phone and started making every excuse in book why it’s leaking. I told him that he was making excuses and then he told me to call my home warranty company.

The technicians, Seth and Colton, were hard working, very knowledgeable, and thorough in answering questions and explaining the issues. We have used Indoor Comfort for over 4 years and they have always provided excellent service. Their technicians have always been professional and courteous. They go out of their way to help keep everything running smoothly. We have been on the maintenance program the last couple years and it is great. This company is the most unprofessional company I have had to deal with. The owner is very childish, immature and rude. I just finished reporting he and his company to the BBB. I have been without AC for nearly a month now. With one excuse after another on why parts were not ordered or why they are taking so long to come in. I will say the techs and lady that answers the phone have been very nice! If you have a home warranty, be expected to be treated as though you are 3rd class. Likely, it bothers him that he has the inability to overcharge insurance. The owner doesn’t even deserve the 1 start I had to give to leave this comment! Beware of using this company, I am only thankful the weather cooled for the last 2 weeks we have been out of AC. The first two weeks we were not as Lucky.I’m getting my popcorn and wait for his reaponse, as I see he take zero responsibilitiy and cannot take criticism from others that have experienced the same problems.In response to your comment:after almost a month of waiting on you to do your job, you refused to give out the information so that we could find out the truth of matters concerning the long wait. We were told so many different reasons on why the part was not here, after more than 3 weeks without AC, you spoke over me, spoke rude to me and acted as though you were above me. You told the insurance company rep “let me school you on how this works” and you do not treat those that use Insurance as, and I quote “regular customers.” The Rude and belligerent individual through this entire process has been the owner of the company. Your employees have been nice and respectful and I to them. Perhaps you need to take a look into seeking some individual help on how to treat and keep customers.
This is an honest and local ac company. A true mom and pop and son company. The son Seth came to my house and was the nicest and most polite service tech to ever help me out.Quick response time too. Less than 4 hours in my case.I will recommend indoor comfort experts to anybody and everybody that asks.Thanks guys.
Would not recommend!! Had an appointment for 8-12, they then changed it to 10-2. No show, no phone call by 215. I called the office to get an update and complained that they did not show or call during the scheduled time. They were not able to give me an adjusted time frame and when I asked what time the office closed, they hung up me. Then the manager/owner called me back to lecture ME on how I responded to their poor customer service and cancelled my appointment. This company is not realizable and obviously has terrible customer service. If you want your a/c fixed by someone who will show up when they are supposed to rather then overbooking their staff, I would find another company. Better to wait for the right company then to wait around all day for nothing.
Indoor Comfort Experts is a service contractor for my home warranty company so I had no choice to who came out to check my a.c.. This company does NOT care about CUSTOMER SERVICE, they didnt care that I was without any air conditioning for Easter weekend. I called the problem in on a Wed, they couldnt come out till Monday after Easter. Their technician was a young adult with a MAJOR ATTITUDE that did NOT want to be there and acted like he hates his job, was slow as molasses, did not check for freon leaks, did not check for cold output at each vent, did not suggest a thorough system check on the old unit, was no help in explaining what the cause of the lack of cold air was besides claiming that the unit needed 2 lbs. of Freon at $125.00 a pound that I would be responsible for by the way, on top of the $70.00 service fee I had to pay up front. The lazy technician said he would NOT check the unit for leaks because it was an old unit and old units loose Freon. Go figure!!!! So 2 days later, the unit isnt cooling again and they cant send a different technician out until next week. So the summation this far is this:1. Poor customer service, all the way around!2. They do NOT accomodate your needs.3. Technician was slow, incompetent, and had a major attitude. He did NOT want to answer my questions either btw.4. Buy an AC window unit to hold you over because they dont come out in a timely manner.5. They charge $125.00 a pound for Freon.6. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

My mother and I just had our AC unit looked at by this company and needless to say, the experience was awful. We moved into this house 5 days prior to the AC unit going out and once we placed the call on Friday we were told we would receive a call between 3-5 business hours. Since this companys website quotes that they are available 24/7 we expected a call within the next day. We received a final call on Monday morning for a tech to come out between 12-4PM on Tuesday and that they would notify us of a more definite time when it got closer. We were called on Tuesday by the tech saying he would be at the house in 10 minutes, I was less than 5 minutes around the corner and left immediately. They beat me to the house (again I was 5 minutes down the road) and they called and said they could only wait a few more minutes then they would have to leave (again this isnt even 10 minutes after their initial call). And while on the phone, my mother explained the exact problem in that the fan in the OUTSIDE unit was not turning, and that when she tried to turn it on it started to smoke. Once I got to the house, then men came inside, asked where the attic was (even though I specifically reiterated that the problem was with the OUTSIDE unit fan) and they then went up to the attic and said that that was where the problem was. The did replace a part upstairs, but they were there for a total of 15 minutes and did not once go and look at the outside unit, even after I asked them to and he told me he didnt need to look at that and that wasnt where the problem was. He must have heard the inside fan turn on, but he never went to check if the outside fan was turned on (which AGAIN this was what we originally told them). The outside AC unit never turned on, bringing the temperature inside upwards of 90 degrees. They never waited to see if the house started to cool nor did we receive a follow up call to see if everything was working properly. When contacted about this problem, they said that they were booked through Monday of the following week (this is Thursday that we called them) and that it would be another charge because they believe it would be a separate problem. We ended up calling our warranty company and asking for another company who came out within an hour and diagnosed the problem as a broken fan motor on the outside unit. We would not recommend this company and we have put in a complaint with our home warranty company. Its now been over a week that the house has been over 90 degrees and we cant live there because of this.**UPDATE**This is in return to the comment made above from the company as we cannot comment on it again, while this isnt something we normally do, I cannot and will not sit by as you do this to another customer. We just received an extremely unprofessional call from your company in response to our review basically telling us that we were lying about our post and solely placed blame on the warranty company. The new company that was able to come out the same day said that they disagreed with you in that even if the home warranty company would have only paid for one repair, they would have examined the original complaint, which was that the fan on the outside AC unit was not running. We understand that warranty companies have their policies, but for this company to CALL US and aggressively confront my mother on this matter does not exude good customer service. Thank you for contacting us about our post, but we stand by our previous statements. We are very thankful towards the new company for evaluating the entire AC system, figuring out the problem within a short amount of time just by looking at the outside unit, and agreeing with us that you very easily should have taken a small extra step to ensure that our AC unit would actually work. This is a real sign of customer service, keeping what is in the best interest of the customer regardless of if you found one problem and fixed it. The least you could do was take responsibility for your actions and apologized.
Very unknowledgable and dishonest. They will try to make you spend more $$ on something that is not needed. My air conditioner went out this past Friday. I called my home warranty (American Home Shield) and the earliest the service tech from Indoor Comfort Experts (ICE) was able to come out was Tuesday. The technician, named William, (also claimed to be the owner of the company) was very rude from the beginning. I showed him where the ac was and he looked at it and asked if anyone tried fixing it. I told him no. He said that the capacitor was miswired and so someone tried fixing it. He did not attempt to fix the ac at all. He wrote up an invoice that stated Found short in disconnect. Found short in wiring to condensor. Reason for short is the homeowner attempted to replace the damage capacitor and miswired it causing damage to the compressor. Turned over to Home Warranty for apporval. I told him this invoice is false and he said they are an honest christian company and he is not making any money from this call. Also, I am 39 weeks pregnant and have a 2 year old child in the middle of a hot Texas summer and this tech saw this. So, I had to call my home warranty back and told them about the situation and they were able to send a licensed contractor, from a different company, out to look at my ac the very next day. The licensed contractor they sent was very kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. He was able to fix my ac in 10 minutes by simply replacing the old capacitor with a new one, which only costs $10-$20. The technician, William from ICE, said I needed a whole new condenser unit which wouldve cost 1,000s of $$. I would NOT recommend ICE to anyone as they are a dishonest company.
This is the first negative review Ive ever written for a company. The home warranty didnt cover what our A/C needed and that is not the fault of the company. I can accept that. BUT...the rude, obnoxious behavior of the perosn who came out, that I cant tolerate. There was a discrepancy in the communication the owner and I had received from Old Republic Home Protection about who I was to pay. He continued to talk over me, would not read what the email I received actually said and was just totally rude to me in my own home.The email I received said ORHP would invoice me. His invoice from them said for me to pay him. When I wanted to call the company to make sure I paid the correct company, he acted like I was trying to get out of paying the $60 fee.I cant speak to the companys work, but I can speak to the way customers are treated.
Technician was on time, knowledgeable, efficient, and work appeared to be of good quality. The tech also took time to answer questions relative to the service call. Pleased with the service provided by Indoor Comfort Experts.
They showed up within time period stated, Two workers showed up on a very hot day before a hurricane and were professional, courteous, thorough, and knowledgeable. Motor on outside condensing unit went out and pricing not bad considering labor and parts involved. Would definitely call them again.
Do not use this company. Took our money and the technician never showed up. Told us he came and we were not home when we set outside waiting for him. This company uses people’s sesperation to get AC fixed to take payment and not show. Left our family (including a toddler) with no AC after taking payment. The receptionist was rude and even laughed at the fact that the house had gotten extreme attention hot and the baby was crying when we spoke on the phone. Please do not support this business
William was professional, polite, knowledgeable, helpful, eager to work and was able to problem solve in a timely manner and explained the issue and answered questions that we had! American Home Shield sent another ac company to fix my central air and they said it was an electrical problem, electrician said there was nothing wrong wrong with the electrical. Well, AHS sent me ICE (Indoor Comfort Experts) they FIXED my central air problem in less than 5 minutes!! Im a very happy customer!!

Our A/C suddenly stopped working last night and William worked around our work schedules and came out and fixed it in under 20 minutes the very next day. He seemed to know exactly where to look! We are so happy that it was only the contacters and not something that was going to cost $$$$. We have definitely found our go-to A/C company.

The technician/owner was rude and did not complete the job which was through my home warranty plan. He lied to the hone warranty company and told them the job was completed which it was not. This is a horrible company with ignorant and dishonest people working there. I would never recommend this place and have filed a complaint to prevent this from happening to someone else.We found another local company who has been amazing
I had an appointment today telling me to be home between 10 and 2 so I freed up my schedule only to be told hours later oh you didnt answer the phone so we are not coming. To add insult to injury the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. People ,stay away!!!!
William was our saving grace! We had a horrible experience with a company out of Deer Park, and Wiliiam at ICE was exactly who we needed to swoop in and fix our problem. He was so open and honest about everything. He ordered parts from locations far away and made the trip to get them knowing that he would save us time without air conditioning (as we had already been without it for a week before he came). I would highly recommend William and ICE to anyone that may need A/C services. He is very knowledgable, professional, and reliable. We will not use anyone else besides Indoor Comfort as long as we are here. Thanks for all you did for us!

So my capacitor on my blower motor is going out and the fan motor stutors for up to 20 minutes before coming on. I call this business to see if I can get one same day I stead of waiting til Tuesday for Amazon to ship one. The price given was a 300 percent mark up but with my back against the wall and a 102f summer day I agree to pay. When I arrive to pick up the part I asked why such a substantial mark up. Maybe there is some reason Im not aware of. When I asked him he pulled the part back and said feel free to take your money on down the road. I explained that I need the part but was curious about the size of the mark up and told him amazon could have one for 15 dollars. He then explained to me that it is illegal for amazon to sell me a capacitor or any part related to HVAC work since I didnt have an HVAC liscense ( even though he was in the process of selling the same part to me). I told him I had to ask but I need the part regardless. He said since he sold me the part he has to send a truck to the part house to re stick the part and his trucks cost 100 dollars an hr when they get out on the road. Long story short it was a ridiculous experience and I will not be using them in the future.
Colton has now been to my home twice in the last year for separate issues. He was professional and punctual on both occasions. I will use their services again and will recommend them to anyone in n the Crosby area.

We have used Indoor Comfort a few times for our AC problems and every time they have gone above and beyond to solve our problems and give us helpful insight on regular maintenance. I would highly recommend them. If I could give them more then 5 stars I would!!!
Had a run in with one of their technicians working next door. Trespassed on my property. Moved my trash can. When I asked him to put it back he copped an attitude. Called owner to let him know how rude he was and he acted like he was trying to defend him. I personally would never use this company now.

I have been without heat for 2 weeks because other companies wanted to charge me for something that should be covered under my home warranty. A young man came out today and saith it was a simple fix and he did it. I started crying and asked him for a hug. He said maam we are a Christian based company and we are here to help. Put in a service request with my home warranty company, this “company” was assigned. I contacted them, and they stated they DO NOT do service calls on weekends for home warranty service calls. The person who answered the phone stated I could call back Monday morning for an appointment. I guess he expects a family of 5, 3 of them under the age of 7, to stay in a home all weekend in the Texas heat.

Our ac unit went out on Mothers day. They were open and came out within 2 hours to fix it. The guy that repaired it was very nice and fast at repairing the problems. I will recommend them to anyone.

Reminded me that it WAS Saturday and IT WAS OVERTIME so there would be a $125 call out fee and it was NON REFUNDSBLE, like I was bothering him. Dont bother. Ill call someone else!!
I have never in my life been so disrespected by a company. I utilized this company due to AHS. The technician was beyond rude and the owner was 10x more rude. I never write bad reviews but this company doesnt deserve to be in business! Stay away from them!

Can not thank Colton enough for being so kind when coming out to fix what I thought was my A/C. Turned out to be a busted pipe on my water heater over an air duct, but he was still kind enough to explain it to me.
They was dispatched through our home warranty company to repair our duct work the tec was rude to my wife on the phone he went straight to my outside unit first and did a 5 min diagnosis on it because we been having problems with our outside unit vibrating and being sooooooo noisy we are getting noise complaints from neighbors he said nothing was wrong with it that it was just a noisey motor that sometimes new motors are noisey asked if I had a cinder block to set on top to quiet the noise and headed to his truck sat in the drivers seat to fill out the work order I asked if he knew anything about the work order put in for my ductwork he asked whats wrong I explained about a incident that caused water to go through the ducts and that there is holes due to varmints so the tec wrote a work order that he inspected my ductwork from his truck .....he never set a foot in my house much less my attic home shield my home warranty company called him the tec and he told home shield that I showed him pics of the damage wich I did not besides that he was told through home shield that he cant inspect from pics so in my opinion these people wasnt supposed to look at my outside unit they lied by writing a work invoice from his truck about duct work in my attic and problem solving for a noisey outside unit is put a cinder block on it ......oh I got my own company out to diagnose the noise and it is a bent fan blade that caused wear on the motor to cause the noise it took the tec I called out 10 min to find the bent fan blade....... so I will never let this company on my property ever again the company needs to do something about tech that do this stuff I have the invoice stating what he did and witnesses that saw what he did from his truck
