Had agreement with swift air had ac install with duct work agreed when drywall complete they would come install grill and we would pay remainder 30% believe it was Mark when my husband met with the guy asked what if it takes awhile before we are complete he responded no problem some have taken as long as a year so we paid 70% 05/24/2024when putting up drywall the openings were not straight so we had to readjust 90% of them ok we did it didn’t even complain about it periodically they will call if we are done last call told them probably be couple months longer then i asked if we could get discount and we get grills and install ourselves response now 12/20 no discount pay up remaining balance by Monday and call us when ready, we said that wasn’t the agreement response owner states will put a lein on our home if we don’t pay by 12/23/2024 now how ridiculous is this we were not questioning the balance

The technicians worked very quickly and efficiently. They were thorough and communicative about all the steps that were taken to insure the problem would be resolved today. They also educated me about future steps to take to help the longevity of my ac unit. I was given an estimated 6-8 hour time frame and Peter and his tech got it done in less than 4 hours.
OVERPRICED! I was told they would diagnose the issue and give me a quote and the diagnosis BEFORE completing any work. I was even told since I was a first-time costumer I would have to pay before they do any work. That was perfectly fine with me as I wanted to know any pricing before committing. They did NOT do this. . . The issue ended up being a faulty thermostat which the tech fixed without my approval and charged $415! For a non-programmable thermostat!! They charged a diagnostic fee of $95, which I was originally told when booking the appointment if I agreed to any work, the diagnostic fee would go towards the first hour of work (not the case) + $225 for the thermostat itself (would have cost under $50 at Home Depot) + $95 labor charge. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they had the availability for the same day. If I were told beforehand, I would have thanked him for the diagnostic and paid the $95 fee, but I would not have agreed to pay $320 for the thermostat and labor.
I contacted Swift Air regarding issues with my dryer vent. The person that answered, the phone was courteous and professional and scheduled my appointment immediately, I had a technician out here at the very next day. My technician, Peter, was extremely knowledgeable, respectful of my home and got the issue taken care of quickly.
Peter conducted himself in a professional manner. He diagnosed the problem in a matter of a few minutes. His analytical technical mine diagnosed the issue. Excellent Service!

Have had issues with a lemon of a evaporator coil and incompetent installers since it was installed. Coil constantly sweats and that has led to mold. Company made multiple visits and issue was not fixed.
We had problems with our dryer vent, but they were able to fix it. They showed up ontime, and were very professional. Well use this company again in the future!
They responded in a quickly manner but soon all changed, so they came out and determined it was a bad ac evaporator coil and needed to be replaced but stated the coil would be under warranty so I would need to pay for labor and materials which I was quoted $1400 dollars for 2 hours worth of labor @ $700 per hour which is totally crazy but what do you do when you have a 72 year old mother there and it’s 81 degrees in the house, I was told by the tech they would get the part and be back the next morning and the charge for today’s service was waived, so the next morning comes along and I received a call from someone in the office and they told me the part wouldn’t be under warranty due to them not having a account with warranty department so now the quote went from $1400 to $2800 so I try and explain what the warranty place told me on the phone and the office person said I have to choice’s either pay the $2800 or cancel the repair from them which I opt to cancel due to the crazy cost, now they are wanting to bill me $289 dollars for 1 hours worth of work when my invoice show 0 dollars owed. I went with another company and the part was covered and the labor and material charge was $850 so Swift air is just a company that preys on people needing service. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody

Robert was the service person that first came out and he was amazing…told us in detail what was going on with our AC unit. Seems a “kick start” had previously been installed by the previous owner. Then Joe and Victor came and installed our new unit. They were absolutely awesome! Worked very hard for us and worked long hours to complete the job. Two of the sweetest, kindest young men ever!!
Peter did all he could. But I think that unit is a lemon and we want it picked up and replaced or just pick it up and refund us we dont want to be charged for a lemon for labor on a lemon unit.

I placed a call for service because my heat was not working properly, I was told that someone would be right out to assist. I was so surprised to see that someone showed up within thirty minutes to diagnose the problem. The tech who was very nice and polite found the issue and repaired it in a timely manner. Just as I was about to send this response, it started acting up again. I placed another call, and the tech is on the way back to further diagnose the issue. Will repost when fixed. Okay they responded a second time with an experienced technician that knew what he was doing. The issue was with the settings on the thermostat. Job well done. On June 30, 2023, I had Swift Air come to my house and was given a quote of $1600 for repairing my AC system. However, when the technician finished the job, I ended up paying $1700. I didnt mind it at the time, assuming that since the technician was experienced, he would replace the drier as well as the system was opened. As an automotive technician myself, I know that the drier is a crucial component that needs to be replaced to avoid contaminants from entering the system. Recently, my AC broke down again, and I called Swift Air to come and diagnose the issue. When the technician arrived, I explained that I used a black light to spot the leak, which seemed to be at the line going to the drier. I asked him if the drier was replaced during the last repair, and he said that it wasnt necessary as the drier is built to endure the elements. I didnt believe him, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. The technician identified the leak and informed me that since my system uses the older R-22 refrigerant, which is now obsolete, the company will have to use a filler that costs $100 per pound. He gave me a quote of $900, excluding the diagnostic fee. However, I found out that my system uses the newer and cheaper refrigerant. Another company gave me a different quote, which was a few hundred dollars cheaper than Swift Airs, making me question the fairness of their pricing.In response to the owner, I am not a single mother nor do I have an elderly person in my home. My home and ac unit is from 2018, which is not 15 years old. You may have confused me with another tenant. so maybe you need to get your facts checked. I will be going to the BBB about this situation. I am not ignorant to HVAC systems so you trying to turn the tables on me does not make you look good especially since nothing you stated is factual, also when I called yall I never said anything about how much another company was going to charge. I asked for a quote… I was given one and I simply stated that it was more reasonable then what another company had quoted me almost 6 months prior to talking to you. When I called the company that fixed my ac I simply asked for a quote and they gave me a fair deal nothing was mentioned about beating y’all’s price. Plus when I called to approve the repair through your company, the woman that answered sounded appalled about the price so I figured it was going to be increased again. I do not doubt the techs skill or ability, I have nothing bad to say about him, he was great but techs are soldiers and you sir are the general, he follows your orders so therefore my complaint is not with the techs it would be with management, because management sets the rules and as soldiers they must follow.

I really appreciated that this company answers the phone, even on weekends and holidays. This company is fast and organized. Although initial set up led to service call(nobodys perfect), they were prompt and corrected the issue. Ive been recommending them to all my neighbors and if I could choose again, Id choose Swift Air.
My ice machine has been at Swift Air for over 2 years. I’ve made many personal trips to the facility and multiple phone calls and always promised a follow up. However, those turned out to be empty promises. Worst customer service I’ve experience and still no ice machine.
Danny was extremely professional and courteous. He performed routine maintenance on the unit and found only that only the outside capacitor was somewhat low and would probably need replacing on the scheduled check-up in the spring.
Finished in an hour, got texts with name and picture before he arrived, easy to pay with Apple Pay, gave recommendations and tips. Very knowledgeable am recommending to friends and would use again

First of all, my blower Motor went out, swift replaced it for $2200 which later I was told that I was robbed. Then this motor was a “special order” and did not come with a warranty even though it was OEM, and was told that if it went out the next day I was basically screwed. My unit froze up after and I believed the blower motor went out, turns out it didn’t, it was checked by the owner and the manager mark who said the motor was fine. I asked for that in writing and mark said sure not a problem give me 20 min. And I’ll email it to you, never came, not a man of his word. They said the issue is that my coils are dirty and they would have to completely take my unit out to clean the coils. I asked the price and the owner began with, it’s going to take 4 hours and three guys, that’s just the labor. My outdoor unit was never even opened up or looked at. No troubleshooting was done. They just determined it was my coils. So I decided to take out my meter and troubleshoot it myself. Turns out the contactor was stuck, bought a new one for $10, installed it and problem solved. Make sure you do your research before you get taken advantage of. Troubleshooting myself saved me easily over a thousand dollars. Be careful who you trust.
Swift Air techs responded quickly to an after-hours call and were able to get my AC up and running. The tech stayed even later to trace and identify the problem. They expedited a part and replaced it the following day. They went above and beyond to permanently repair the problem. I called them later to schedule the installation of a smart thermostat, and they quickly came out and quickly accomplished this even though it wasn’t an emergency. I give them an A+!
Swift Air came out to diagnose our AC unit because if wasnt cooling. They then inform us that our compressor needs to be replaced and gave us a quote for $5000. Well little did they know we have another AC company come to look at it. All it needed was freon and compressor wasnt broken like Swift claimed. BEWARE OF SWIFT AIR ! THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE !!!!!!
Rating: 3.5-4Situation: Inherited house 5ton a/c out for over a couple of months. Requested diagnostic service to repair and quote for replacement. Quoted $90 for Diagnostic. Thats it. Read on...Tech came per the online (FB) request. It was a Friday, so I was very relieved they could schedule me in at such short notice. Tech was professional and he waited as I fought through traffic to get to the house. The tech assessed and said inside okay; Being my unit is older okay was a fair call. The outside compressor was the problem. He siad he could fix it or give me a temp solution until I am ready to buy a whole new unit- I agreed. We didnt discuss a price for that fix at any point. My fault. I suppose I was so eager to get some air that I didnt follow through. however. I WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED THE COMPANY OFFERING FULL DISCLOSURE & COST BEFORE BEGINNING TO WORK. Giving me a chance to decide whether or not to proceed. It wasnt until the tech finished that I was given total cost including diagnostic and hourly rate attached. Total: ALMOST $450 and the part he replaced HAS NO WARRANTY. Sooooooo if in fact I have to replace, I am out $400+ and the cost of a new unit.The unit is still running (thank goodness), however, I am pricing for a new 5ton system. If I choose to do business with Swift Air, they will only apply the diagnostic fee to the purchase.Goodluck

I have been using Swift Air for many years and they have always over extended their customer satisfaction. Their workers are not only professional but also caring and providing their best. They cleaned up after all jobs and left it as it was. Swift Air cares for the homeowner to get a safety issue taken care of asap. They even worked in the weekend because the heat was over bearing for my bedridden mom and offered their personal portable cooler. Their service is pass 10+ for always taken care of their customer with care. 💕💕💕
VERY POOR SERVICE. Technicians had to come back multiple times to try and fix their install. They installed an air handler, didnt finish the job. They refused to send anyone back so we were forced to hire another AC tech with another company and they completed the job. We have photos that their own techs sent to us showing the uncompleted job and they still say its the customers fault. I do not recommend this company, please save your time and money.
Called Swift Air in the evening when our system was not cooling and they came out quickly and were able to fix our system in a matter of minutes, we even splurged and got our ducts cleaned within a couple of days! Great service! The tech explained the issue as well! Thank you!

I called this company on a friday to ask if they could send a tech to inspect why our A/C was not working. I told the lady answering the phone to ask tech to call us when he got to my residence. Because it is a big building and there has been confusion as to where we are located in the past, I asked that the tech call us when he got to our address in case we missed a light knocking on our door. We waited til 6:00 pm. I called but they were closed for the weekend, tried calling several times during weekend, no answer, even though they advertise that they are available 24 hrs. I am very disappointed with company, I would never recommend , based off of my initial experience with them. The tech left a receipt in the mailbox, we never got a knock on the door, or a even a call. I guess the tech was ready to start his weekend and didnt care about us being the last call on his list most likely. The lady that I gave special instructions to, never contacted me to follow up...I am still here without A/C in my building...Its almost 95 degrees in here. My guess is that this company just doesnt care. move on and find the right A/C company to give your money to. I give this company a half star rating when it should be a total zero for a review score.

We hired Swift Air for two min-splits this past summer. Both have not worked for over 5 months. The install was very sloppy and their crews very unprofessional. In fact we had a new crew each day and came to find out that the previous installation crews no longer worked there. After FOURTEEN service visits to repair the units Swift Air has been unable to fix. They still now refuse to condemn the units hiding behind the manufacturer (Gree - which is Chinese junk). The owner its representatives have been unwilling to do the right thing either 1) replace the units or refund our Money (which is entirely within their ability). After 5 months of this we have hired another contractor - Comfort Air - who installed two new units in one day with zero problems. My advice do not use Siwft - 1) Bad manufacturer 2) Bad Install 3) Bad Service 4) Bad values. We will be suing them for damages.
When I called the company, the young lady who answered the phone was professional. The technician, Jose, was friendly, professional and explained everything that he was preparing to do and explained everything that was done. He also explained that since I purchased the maintenance plan, tge visit was no cost to me. He made some recommendations for the next visit. Im very satisfied with Swift.
Wade (as well as the other gentleman whos name I have sadly forgotten) were very professional and open to explaining things to me in a way I could understand. They did the work quickly and well and cleaned up afterwards. I know that should be expected, but many workers in the past have left trash behind in my yard so I appreciate the cleanliness. I also always appreciate when technicians will take time to explain things when I ask, even though thats not necessary for their installation.
A few minutes after I called Swift Air, Brandon the service technician, was enroute to my house. After arriving, he quickly assessed the problem and fixed it in a short amount of time. HVAC system is now working great and I am really satisfied that everything was taken care of in such a short amount of time. Excellent service, very professional, and right on time!

Do not recommend. I pre-paid for services that were never performed. When I asked for a refund, I was told no refunds would be issued. They were happy to take my money and less than happy to do the work.*Edited after Swift Air Responded on Sept 14, 2022*I did call the office. Multiple times. Their response to me was that there was nothing they could do despite acknowledging that they charged my card and did not perform the worked that I was charged for. Despite acknowledging that it was their fault that they did not perform the work that I was charged for. This company took money from a military family, acknowledged that they took it (they even provided me a receipt) and refused to refund it. Do not use them.
When getting an estimate, I was told the technicians will do a fantastic job.The technicians did not appear knowledgeable, they had to call in a tech from a different HVAC company to explain things to them. The quality of the work was poor. When starting the new A/C system, a solder joint they had done, broke and my home filled up with a thick cloud of freon. Finally the owner and their lead tech came to finish up. They did a few things over that I pointed out. They have me a $300 house cleaning allowance for the freon. The following morning, a lady named Liz called me twice requesting payment, when I didnt even have their messes cleaned up yet. The woodwork on the air handler, cabinet, needs to be sanded and painted from the freon damage. I would not recommend!

Business Ethics; One star review because we were unable to do business with company but the owner/staff were polite. Swift Air has replaced Rapid Air as of Feb 2021. Both businesses are run by the same family, same office & address, same phone number. In the Swift Air google reviews the owner responses state “Swift Air inherited Rapid Airs customers after they went out of business.” My family purchased a new AC unit from Rapid Air 8/28/2020 (9 months ago) with a 5 yr warranty and 1 yr parts and labor that just failed on us this weekend. I physically visited the Swift Air office this Monday morning and spoke with the owner of the building (the father of the sons who run the businesses) and they will not honor the warranty we purchased 9 months ago with Rapid Air. Again, we purchased from Rapid Air which became Swift Air run by the same family, same office, same phone, same business. The gentlemen and the staff were polite and I believe genuine, but at the end of the day keeping a customer and potentially more business was not as important as doing the right thing under these certain circumstances (MY OPINION ONLY). If Swift Air truly did inherit Rapid Air customers as they claim, they need to inherit Rapid Air warranties as well and not just what benefits them. Now my wife, 6yr old, 4yr old, 2yr old, and newborn have been without AC for 2 days and we will have to spend even more money with a different company after we just purchased a brand new $3300 unit 9 months ago. For these reasons, which are just my opinions but I feel are very reasonable, we will no longer do business with this family owned company. I really wish they would’ve considered our circumstances and bent over backwards to help a family in need, labor/parts etc. sometimes you will lose money but in the end you are building a stronger and more profitable business.**UPDATE since the above post** Swift Air contacted us after the fact in attempt to make things right which we still greatly appreciate. A tech came to look at indoor/outdoor units, the results on finding the problem and getting it fixed are still pending but if all goes well we have absolutely no problem staying with the company and updating our reviews.

They came out and basically told me I needed a whole brand new unit or they could convert because I had an R22which they don’t make anymore. I didn’t have $5000 on me so I said to wait. Luckily I did because a family friend came out next day to tell me that I had no freeon and compressor was fine. There was a small leak which was fixed. I slept in 90 degree heat because they said there was nothing they could do. They didn’t tell me I had no freeon and that the cap for freeon was loose. He was insistent that my compressor was out and I needed to upgrade to 4-10A which we will eventually do but to not say I had no freeon and let me and my daughter lay like that. And we could’ve gone to a hotel but it was 9pm so we didn’t feel the need. . Got charged $95 and for nothing.
It was Sunday night and needed someone to come out at 9:00pm! They did! Very grateful even though they didn’t have the part to fix it. They came the next morning to finish the job.

Called the company to fix the AC unit that we had a warranty on. They said that their company didn’t exist anymore, but if we wanted they could check to see what was wrong for 100$. Don’t know what is going on with this company and why it “disappeared”. Take your business elsewhere

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. This company used to be called Rapid Air. And now it is called Swift Air. But it is 99% the same people. Dont be fooled into thinking it is a totally new and fresh company.This company, while it still called itself Rapid Air installed a new system in my house in 2016. And Ive been plagued by issues ever since then. And every single issue was caused by one thing: a very, very bad installation job that was below all professional standards.Of course, they dont take any responsibility for it because they say it wasnt them who installed, but Rapid Air. Which is a pathetic and ridiculous excuse, and they are somehow able to get away with it. It is the same people.I now have to pay another company for a new installation. There are so many things wrong with the old installation, and as a result, the inside components of the evaporator unit have been damaged beyond the point of repair. And the only common sense thing for me to do now is get rid of the trash that these Rapid Air/Swift Air people did and spend the money and start from scratch with a new unit installed by a PROFESSIONAL company.I feel completely taken advantage of. They took my money and in return they gave me back very bad workmanship in installation and a cheap-brand unit in return, plus all the issues that Ive had with them for so long.I will never, ever, ever again deal with this company, and I will tell everybody that I know and work with about the horrible installation work that they did for me.

They are waiting for the part to replace, it has being in backorder for four months, but every time the issue repeats itself with the thermostat they come and fix it! They are going thru a lot of restructuring and has really affected the way they do business, the management promises they want to meet with us, they make appointments and never show, wish them the best, but thats not the kind of service nor relationship my business needs!!!!!!
