Feb 5, 2025. Zam Automotive was recommended to me by my home state mechanic and there could not have been a better choice. I called, made an appointment, showed up and two hours later, Im on the road. Had break shoes and rotors replaced. Customer service was excellent. They also did an inspection of other parts of the break system and all checked out.

We had an ongoing issue with our Jeep that the dealership couldn’t fix for a year. We tried many different things but nothing from the dealership was working. We finally got the vehicle towed from the dealership to Zams, Jerry and his crew got the vehicle fixed…even changed the oil and breaks. Next time, I’ll just skip the dealership and head straight to Zam Automotive!This shop is honest, knowledgeable , and communicates along the process…so I can make the right decision for my family!1000% using Jerry again!

We are out of town going to the beach and our car was heating and unfortunately needed more work than expected. Jerry was able to fit us in and fix our car by 12:30pm. I recommend this auto mechanic for their customer service, professionalism and fast response.

Weekend Family Fun Saved!! This guy was able to get our Dune Buggy running. Our family had been waiting to drive for 5 months to bring to the beach and she just would not turn over when we got down to the coast. He was booked solid and had ZERO time to help us out but somehow found a way to get this little gem on the beach. Thank you to the entire Zam family and crew for making our beach weekend great.

Zam Auto showed amazing customer service when I was on an interstate road trip through Corpus Christi Texas. I showed up impromptu, they took time off to diagnose and said nothing wrong . They refused for me to pay for time they spent. For me, it shows, they are there for the customers first not the money. That is what a legit business does!

I manage a small fleet of tow trucks. The first time that i used them, it was to replace the fuel injectors. They were awesome. They ordered the parts and minimized my down time, great price, great results. A different truck started stalling, so, I tried them again. They found the source of the problem for one of our trucks that had repetitive problems. I hired them to fix that problem too. Once again, they minimized my down time, great price, great results. Jeff was so kind & helpful. They got my car in on a Thursday evening, diagnosed it & had it fixed and finished Friday after noon. Great customer service! They replaced my windshield wiper reservoir and my back up camera. Easy to work with, very knowledgeable and researched options for camera prior to me bringing my car in so they had all the parts needed. Reasonable cost and effective, efficient repair.

First off, the gentlemen I dealt with were very professional and knowledgeable. They didnt guess at what the problem with my car was and neither did they OVER CHARGE me! My car had transmission work done, in a timely manner and I am one extremely happy lady. I most definitely will come back if I have any other issues with my car. As for my car, its running awesome. We have used Zam Automotive for years because we have always gotten excellent work for a reasonable price. At almost 5 the evening before Thanksgiving, my car went on the blink. I got it to Zams, and I ran into two other people I know that were having emergency work done on their vehicles as well. Zam had it out in no time so I did not have to do without my car over the holiday weekend. I highly recommend Zam. They are honest and do great work!

Zam Automotive is great! I came to Corpus Christi for work and my pilot/escort vehicle developed a couple of urgent problems. These guys got me right in, searched around for the best price on the parts I needed, got them installed, and on my way really quickly. The customer service is top notch!

Im sharing my experience so anyone who chooses this shop is cautious. I took in my vehicle, a diagnostic report was run, I paid $100 cash. I was told the transmission needed replacing, even mentioned the fluid smelled burnt. It didnt need replacing and the fluid was fine. Turned out to be a link that was loose. Saved me $$$$$ with another mechanic. The diagnostic report never said the transmission was bad, that was their Opinion.

We were in Corpus for a wedding 6 hours away from home. My jeep started overheating. I called about 12-1 on a Friday afternoon and told them what was going on. They said to bring it in and they would pull a tech to check it out. When we got there they were so friendly! They made us a priority since we were traveling and had the repair done within a couple hours. The part even came with a coast to coast warranty! Very good experience. They keep in contact with you throughout the day to update you on prices and status of the vehicle. I had to be at work early that day but they made sure someone was there to drop my vehicle off in the morning. Very easy process on fixing the vehicle and the end result was amazing and drives smooth.

I stumbled across this amazing place when I accidentally went over a curb and the plastic cover under my car came off and needed immediate fixing. I showed up a little bit early for my appointment and they took care of my oil change and intoxalock recalibration right away. The owner of the shop is very helpful and is genuine in making sure his customers have everything they need, and not to mention is funny as well! I brought in my older truck when the air conditioning went out, not having the energy to pull the dash myself in the lovely Texas heat. My model of truck didnt come standard with a cabin air filter, so I assumed the evaporator coils were clogged or damaged. Jeff was prompt and courteous while communicating with me throughout the day (called and left brief messages with updates) as progress was made and his recommendations. Ended up swapping out the heater core at the same time to save on money down the road. Had forgotten about an air filter kit I purchased recently that I had left in the glovebox, and they installed it for me as well! 100% Would recommend and will return with other work Ive been putting off. Thanks again!

Jerry and his crew were very professional, they found the issue with my vehicle, explained what was going on and what we need to resolve the issue. Had several mechanics look at my truck they all said I needed a new engine.. Had Zam automotive take a look only to find I didnt need a new engine and they had it fixed same day. Zam Automotive did a fantastic job all around, from customer service, to the work itself, and pricing. My vehicle needed some major work, and they explained to me exactly what needed to be fixed. Additionally, I was impressed how Jerry kept me updated about my vehicle every step of the way. Now, this is the only place in Corpus Christi I will take my car into because I trust this family owned operation.

My dad is a mechanic but due to me having warranty I needed to take it in to a place I trusted and my dad recommended them. They were super quick and got the job done right. I highly recommend and will be taking my car back.

These guys are miracle workers! I took my Dodge Dakota in on Monday 02/26/18, with an electrical problem, a few minutes before they were closing for the day. Jerry told me he would let me know what the problem was Tuesday, the next day. I didnt think it would happen that fast. Since, I took my truck to 2 other shops, that couldnt help me. One of the shops took 2 weeks and said they couldnt figure it out. The other shop took 4 days, they couldnt help me, either. But, sure enough. Jerry called me around 2:00pm the next day. He said my truck was fixed and ready to be picked up. I couldnt believe it! I am so glad that they were able to fix it, when 2 other places failed!

1st class operation. I was bless to find this shop over a concern I had with my Ford F-150. Took it to not 1, but 2 Ford dealerships that were unable to isolate my suspension problem. Not just detected, but repaired within an hour and a half for what I considered to be a very fair rate. Paid in time and expended efforts with the 2 dealerships that came up short; but this shop shines as they now are responsible for all the service to my 3 vehicles. Hats off to this crew. Very friendly, work was completed in a timely manner and reasonably priced. When picking up my vehicle all work to my vehicle was thoroughly explained and I was giving a legible printed receipt describing all work done on my vehicle.

I have been looking around for a Transmission shop that I could trust to do a good job on my Corvette. After 2 months of interviewing several transmission shops, I found Zams Automotive. The Transmission specialist there made me & my husband feel really good that our transmission was going to be done right. Call this mechanic shop in the middle of the day for a wheel alignment and they scheduled it immediately I was there within 30 minutes out in 30 minutes. Upon driving the van I could tell the wheel alignment was done correctly because it simply wasnt making the noise it was making before I got there thank you z a m Automotive always providing quality service for quality people what Quality Cars

Was an out of town buyer for a C5 Corvette, got the seller to bring the car to Zam for an inspection. I got a full detailed report including almost 20 pictures of the underside of the car emailed to me. Talked everything over on the phone and made me much more confident in the decision I was making on the car. Ask for Jerry, this guy knows his stuff!!!

Was having problems with a noise under the hood of my car. Pulled up to this garage and was immediately greeted by these nice guys. Luckily it wasn’t too busy. They were able to diagnose the vehicle , fix the problem and had me out of there within the hour. Thank you very much guys!!!

I had a gas tank leak on my nissan Altima in March that the local car dealership and several other repair shops would not repair unless I paid big $ for a new gas tank along with the labor repair charges. I finally found Jerry Zamora and he said he could fix my leak for $200. Long story short, Mr. Zamora properly repaired my leak the same day I brought it in and kept his word on the $200 repair bill. One month later my gas tank is fine with no leaks. His front office man Greg was professional and prompt in answering my questions and I definitely plan to use Zams in the future for my Nissan repairs.

We were down from San Antonio and our car broke down. We went with the triple A approved mechanic in Corpus (Christian Brothers), who told us that out engine was just “done,” and that we needed a new engine or a new car, and quoted us 1000 to 4000 dollars just to get started.I was ready to pay 300 bucks to get the car towed back up to San Antonio when my girlfriend called Zam. They told us that they could do the job that Christian Brothers had quoted us at 1 to 4 grand for 700 bucks. They did just that, very quickly, and once it was done, they discovered that my radiator had a hole in it and was unsafe to drive. That was going to raise the price of the job, and we didn’t have the money to pay for all that at the time. Jeff made the executive decision to front us the labor and let us pay the following week. They even had their mechanics stay late to finish the job so that we could get back home.Also, Jerry showed me all of the parts that had gone bad, even though I didn’t ask to see them, which was an even further testament to these guys’ honesty.I’ve never felt so taken care of by an auto shop, and if I lived in the Corpus Christi area, you can be sure I would never take my vehicle elsewhere.

Too much money for the service provided

We have taken over 5 vehicles that had electrical problems and they had fixed them every time for a great price. Never have I had to go back with the same issue. For electrical means I would highly recommend them
