These guys came out to our apartment last night. They were professional, respectful and got the job done! They worked so hard and the communication between them was something to see. I could not be more impressed! Thank you so much

In April 2021 we got a new unit installed. The salesman that sold us the unit ended up selling a unit that would not work with our current thermostat. The installers literally through our old unit around the attic to the point where they broke our Internet cords. I work from home, on a computer, so internet is very much so needed. The installers would not go in the attic and see if they noticed any cords were damaged so my husband had to go into the attic and ended up falling through the roof because of all the debris and stuff the installers had thrown around. I understand that this is not a clean job but throwing our old unit around our attic and all of their trash is a bit ridiculous. We had settled out our bill with them and told them we would not be paying for the drywall repair because we shouldn’t have been in the attic seeing as the cord was cut by the installers throwing the old unit on the courts. It is currently 34° outside and I just went to turn on our heat and no heat is coming out. I just called to make an appointment for tomorrow I was told that they cannot service my house because there’s a $700 balance on my account. The balance on my account is due to the drywall repair that I had to pay. I am very disappointed in this company. When you pay $7400 for a brand new unit you would expect it to one work with your thermostat and to cool your house and three heat your house. I am hoping we can get on the phone and make this right but all I got was the runaround back in April.

Bodine & Scott are a company with competitive pricing on minor repairs and every tech has been kind and helpful, but the company seems to have communication and organization issues when it comes to more serious repairs. After being patient and being given the runaround for almost two weeks in a 90 degree house- I cannot recommend this company to anyone else who might have a more complex AC issue (currently have a leak). Hope to get some answers soon.

I was out of town and had a leak at my residence. Bodine Scott came out and took care of it for me. They called and explained everything to me over the phone. Great service at a reasonable honest price.

Been a customer with Bodine Scott for over a yr now. Let me tell you they r the best, very knowledgeable and professional. Just recently got a whole new system installed in under 4hrs, Juan and the 2 other gentlemen were awesome and very polite and professional! I’m not sure where to begin with this 5-star review. Justin with CFP is one of the best. We had to replace a water heater which was done by another plumber and it wasnt getting hot. Long story short and $400+ later Justin came in and troubleshooted and spent some time talking to us about possible outcomes now we have hot water with just a turn of a screw. This was crazy as to why all of the other plumbers and electricians didnt think of that. It took us flying in from California and hooking up with Justin. Unfortunately cannot recommend this company. I had previous work done in the past where they were very easy to work with. However, a few months later, while under contract to sell my house, the inspector had a laundry list of issues with the HVAC that needed addressed. Some techs from Bodine Scott came out and had an even larger laundry list of repairs which somehow weren’t of concern just a few months prior? And cost an additional grand to fix. Seems very shady when you have the same company come out and for the same issues and all of the sudden there’s a whole bunch of repairs needed (such as kinked ducts) that weren’t addressed during the first visit.

Technically awesome. Guy they came out to my mom’s home was so nice and professional. He kept us informed of his findings and was so kind. We will tell everyone about this company from this day forward. Prices were awesome.

While we were under hurricane beryl watch last week, on top of that stress and uncertainty, the airconditioner in my home stopped working forever.I called Bodine Scott on Saturday. On Sunday morning Trent was there and diagnosed the situation. On Monday morningRyan was there and put together a plan for me. On Tuesday morning Frank and David installed a new updated system for me. It was so comfortable in my home that night I overslept 2 hrs!!If there was room to give you gentlemen 100 stars I would!!!The service was fast, professional and efficient and I recommend your company always!

I have been using Bodine Scott for several years now. They serviced m old system and when it was time to install a new one they were my choice. I have been pleased with their service and their general availability. They haven’t kept me waiting except when a part hasn’t been readily available. From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke with them my experience was pleasant. Charlie helped me a ton, the guys that ended up showing up to my house were so helpful and explained everything to me. I’m a new homeowner and I had no idea what could possibly be going on with my drain lines. I was told I had a break and was going to have to replace the line in my slab. Thank goodness I didn’t, and Bodine-Scott jetted my lines and explained every step to me. As they worked they cleaned everything up and as a busy working Mom I appreciated that so much. We had a brand new house built in 2021...when we had a warranty on the house we had to have a technician come out because the air wasnt coming out evenly throughout the house...the most important rooms which are our master bedroom and master closet. He did whatever with a laptop I believe and all.was good just for a few months. Now its back to not cooling the master bedroom and closet hardly at all!!! Ive had a few older rent houses that never ever had this kinda trouble...embarrassing really. Todays products and craftsmanship suck today!!

Plugged main sewer drain on a Sunday, they were there to help get it fixed! Friendly service guy who knows his job and had the drain cleared quick. And at normal price which was very reasonable. I know who to call now. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately I now have been setting, waiting for 2 1/2 hours for two people from Bodine Scott to show up for a noon appointment. I called at 1 pm and was told they were now traveling to my house. That was 1 1/2 hours ago. Finally arrived at 3 PM. Once service personal arrived they did excellent work. I think my problem was caused by management in the office rescheduling me to later in the day without telling me they changed my appointment time.

Its never a good time when your A/C dies down here, and it cant get replaced soon enough. Our A/C went pining for the fjords on a Thursday, and the technician called time of death that afternoon. Friday morning Bodine-Scotts project manager came over for a look, and before lunchtime he sent us a replacement proposal. I was hoping they could start right away, but the earliest they could manage was Monday. Spent a miserable, sweaty weekend waiting, but true to their word they showed up first thing Monday. And by close of business the new system -- condenser, air handler, all connections and a fancy new thermostat -- was up and running. Consider us cool and satisfied.

Things did not go well for the technician while at the house before mine which delayed the arrival, but even though it was late, the technician Trent still came out and helped me get the a/c working again. Very professional and helpful. We will have to do a follow up to make sure everything is working properly again, but very much appreciate the work even though it was late.

The tech was courteous and knowledgeable. He showed up early in the time slot I’d been given. He was able to get my system working with a temporary fix to allow time for the needed warranty part to be ordered and available. Thank you for the quick response and work!

We had a sewer back up yesterday. I called Bodine Scott and they had a crew at my house within 30 minutes. The job was done quickly and for only $99. Awesome company and I’ll use them anytime we have a plumbing issue.

Your so called plumber, or ac numb nuts took it upon himself to cut a main water line like an imbecile with the water still on, and left it flooding for over an hour, your workers are garbage. And there work is garbage.

The plumbing team at Bodine-Scott was very professional and polite. They kept me informed on their progress and answered my questions. Each day I received a text letting me know they were en route. I am happy with their work and would recommend them.

Although there were problems with the factory equipment (fan motor: no fault of Bodine Scott), the Bodine Scott technicians were great, especially Trent, who displayed a blend of patience and determination to achieve the sole purpose to get my air conditioner working properly. This young man did a great job and I am very happy with the results and recommend Bodine Scoot highly. Also, the cost was about 30 % less expense than the my first option.On July 23, 2024, additional work was done to my a/c unit by Juan. The fan blade was replaced, refrigerant was added, and leaks were sought.I waited until this morning to make this review, so I could track my a/c. The noise level has never been quieter, the unit is running smoothly and cooling although the heat index is 115 degrees.We could be any happier with Juan service, knowledge and professionalism. 5 STAR recommendation.

I had called to schedule an appointment . It took a while because of previous appointments running long I was scheduled at 3.00 pm he was finally able to be the by 6.30pm. The technician was a true professional and the work was done to my satisfaction . I did appreciate that I was called and told that it would be a bit longer due to the previous appointment running long .

Very professional and polite. The tech performed a very detailed inspection/diagnostic procedure. He even educated me that my dog using the coils as a fire hydrant destroys them overtime. Hang on to that Tech.

Technician arrived promptly, analyzed A/C unit, decided on repair plan. Parts needed from factory and Bodine expedited order and receipt. As soon as possible, technician returned and fixed everything. We are very satisfied and will continue to use them

Paid $194.50 just for diagnosis, guy was a nice guy and figured out the problem but said they couldnt fix it on the weekend and have to wait until at least Monday to repair it. Had to call again to schedule the second repair visit and they said they would call me back and havent done so after four hours. So my house will stay at 86+ degrees for days.

I had purchased the Smart 1 Agreement when I purchased the system. I called them up for an check-up appointment. Easy to setup and the technician was prompt, friendly, thorough and efficient. Everything check out and the visit didnt cost anything since it is covered under the Smart 1 Agreement. Definitely I will keep this service.

Would not recommend. Last summer our AC broke. We heard good things about Bodine-Scott so we call them for the repair. The issue ends up being a major coil. We’ve only owned our house 2 years so this sucks but it is what it is. 800 dollars later the technician does the repair but tells us right away that as he was installing the coil he broke a valve. He stated that he put in a temporary piece (a piston valve) that would allow the AC to work but not the heat. As it’s 100 degrees outside we had no issue. A week or two later another tech comes in to fix the mistake of the first guy. He was in and out and said maybe two words but we didn’t think anything of it. Thinking back I don’t know if I even saw him go up to the main unit in the attic. Fast forward a few months to our first cold front - our heater doesn’t work. We were not too alarmed because we just assumed that maybe the valve didn’t get replaced and Bodine and Scott would just come out and finish the job and fix it. That was not the case. They refused to make it right stating that it was outside of the 30 day warranty. Even though it was their tech that admitted to breaking a part in our AC. I’m a reasonable human. So I could even understand that if they go in and see it’s something else then sure we pay for that. When I offered this they immediately said no, that we would need to pay the $180 (or similar) diagnostic fee and when I asked if that could be reimbursed if it was to do with the piece their tech broke and they said they “didn’t know”. I wouldn’t recommend a company with such lack of integrity in their work.

Bodine Scott, was quick and professional through the entire process. Im a Realtor and have dealt with many AC companies and bodine scott is one of the few I would even consider. This time around I needed an entire system replacement in my personal home, I was shopping around and bodine scott is the only company that gave me a quote no questions asked and no hassle. They didnt try to sell me on it or make me finance it and they didnt want to come out and do a whole unnecessary diag and service as I already knew I wanted a new unit. Thanks Bodine Scott!

The gentleman (I did not get his name) who came out to service us today was fantastic! He took his time to diagnose the issue & instead of a quick fix, replaced the plumbing within the system that had a design issue and corrected it. He did this on the Friday before Christmas. This was the first time using Bodine-Scott A/C. I will definitely be using them in the future

I had a slow drain in the kitchen had a snake run through with another company still had drain problems . Called Bodeine Scott … spoke to Charlie he got someone right on it they ran a camera saw the problem told me what would help with buildup ran the snake and a camera so I could physically see the problem for myself . They didn’t leave me guessing whether or not I had a busted pipe.I appreciated the plumber showing his license upon arrival not what the other company did. He was prompt cleaned up the mess and gave me peace of mind! I highly recommend this company not just for AC work because I already trust them with that but also for plumbing work! Great group of guys very Professional!!

The service from Bodine-Scott was excellent. They communicated with me through the whole process and worked around my schedule. When they were on the way they let made sure to let me know. When the technician arrived he was courteous and found the root of my AC problem in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using Bodine-Scott when you have an AC issue!

Well we had the dehumidifier checked a couple of weeks ago, and today the same tech came out and the filter of the dehumidifier was very dirty. I told him someone was here 2 weeks ago and he said he wouldnt know who that was (it was him). and we have the annual service to do maintenance on the dehumidifier twice a year. I thought the maintenance would cover the service. But we had to pay for it. And now it sounds like the dehumidifier may need to replaced. Its only 2 years old I believe, and well have to pay for labor again. Great service in the last 5 years. Was different this time.Update 2024-3-26 - They replaced the dehumidifier, gave a discount on the labor. increasing this review to 4 starts and would give a 4.5 if that was an option

Great respectful tech. Got us patched up until he was able to return after dye ran its course and to bring replacement parts.Customer service however needs to work on getting the customer a better ETA. Twice they were way off on eta, left work earlier than needed.Otherwise, great service from the tech.

Pin hole leaks allowed Puron to escape over the first 13 months of ownership.System failed Carrier would only warrant the part, not labor and coolant.Bodine Scott stepped up and covered most of my expenses.Betty Jo, Brenda and Christopher were great to work with. I called them on a Tuesday, to set up a routine maintenance check, and they came the next morning. The company I had been using canceled several times and would reschedule me 6 weeks out, yet Bodine came within 12 hours.... great service.

I was very satisfied with their service. The person answering the phone was super helpful and informative with my many questions and concern about our air conditioning unit. when I called, we were not establish customers and they were able to come out to our home which let me mention is over an hour outside of town and they came out the same day. The technician was very informative, and he took his time, making sure that we understood every step of the process and educated us about our system. They didn’t just show up and “it’s fixed” and then leave. I’m very thankful to have found a company that feels genuine and that has wonderful customer service.

Our a/c went out--of course--in the middle of the summer 2023 heat wave. The Bodine Scott technician came immediately and determined that the problem could not be fixed without costing almost as much as a new unit. 48 hours later the new system has been installed and is working perfectly. The price was very reasonable with a solid warranty (which we need here on the coastal desert). Everyone at Bodine Scott from the technicians, the customer service personnel, to the sales rep have been first rate. We have used this company for over 10 years and recommend them without reservation to anyone who is having any a/c issues.

I am so happy I found this A/C repair company. They were all so amazing. The techs were super friendly and explained my issue in detail. They worked hard to fix my issue, which was a rather involved troubleshooting process and repair. All covered by warranty which they honored.

Quick response to a water leak within a wall. Great diagnosis and efficient repair with minimal invasive steps. Showed me the problem and explained the steps taken. Very personable and competent.

We could not be more pleased with this company. The previous owners of our house used them, so when our A/C went out at the end of 2021, we called this company to service the unit. It turned out we needed a new one—on December 29th, smack dab in the middle of the holidays. They were able to replace it immediately, and the service and their responsiveness was fantastic.This past weekend, we had what we thought was a plumbing leak that turned out to be a minor issue with the AC (the drain line clogged because we don’t run the A/C enough as it’s a second home, and the drip pan overflowed). When I called for service they said they’d be able to get someone out there the next morning at 8am. The technician, however, happened to be a couple of streets down and took it upon himself to drive by the house to see if we would like to have him take a look that day. Roly was wonderful—and he has us back up and running in a matter of minutes.I cannot recommend this company highly enough!

Able was a GREAT technician!!! Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, personable and arrived a little early. He got right to work, found the problem and had my ac working properly with twenty minutes. I was VERY PLEASED with Able and will request Able in the further. Weve used Bodine-Scott AC for decades. We could probably find someplace cheaper, but Bodine-Scott has always been very reliable which is more important to us. Their office staff is pleasant and really good about communicating appts or needed changes. The company always guarantees their work and honors any warranties.Most important, their technicians that come to our home are always pleasant and professional. Weve never had any complaints with this company.

Tech arrived at scheduled time and ran a diagnostic check, but did not find any codes. The outside fan did not come on, but when he pulled the outside breaker and replaced it , it must have reset itself and is working at this time.

They took my call on a Sunday got back with me within a couple hours. The technician they sent out to inspect it was professional he did a great job explained everything to me.The installation crew was very professional very informative worked with the rain and seem to be very knowledgeable. Thought I had typed up a review. Great experience. Made an emergency call and was told it may be until at least noon. A tech called me shortly after 9 a.m. letting me know he was on his way. Knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Diagnosed my problem quickly and did not try to sell me on any additional services I did not need. He also took the time to educate me on future steps to keep my AC system happy and healthy.

I attempted to utilize a different company who was rude and gave me the run around. They told me they could not come out until Monday. I called Bodiene Scott. Right away, I got a call back from Luis. He was so helpful and understanding. Assured me someone would be out same day. The tech, Steve, called and informed me he was on his way and was accurate with his arrival time. He was great! He did a thorough job and explained to us what happened. There was no hidden cost. The service and repair was very affordable. I will definitely be calling them for my service needs in the future and highly recommend them.

This company installed 2 expensive dehumidifier systems, came out 3 times to repair them as they were not working as promised during the sale. Each time they said the system was working properly however humidity levels remain high. Called to speak to the service manager after the third visit who was not available and would not return my call. Finally called their competitor CCAC who promptly came out to look at the system. Upon inspection they discovered that the relay switch was incorrectly wired, low voltage wiring between furnace and dehumidifier was done wrong, oil residue in primary drain, already low in refrigerant, and missing back flow dampers in the ductwork.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!!!USE MATHEWS CCAC!

Eric was awesome. 5.5 stars. What a fine plumber. He was cool, calm, and professional. He answered all my wife’s questions as well as mine and saved us from severe water damage to our home. We are most satisfied with how Eric went the extra yard in trying to save water damage expenses and taking our call Wednesday at 7pm and 9pm at night. An honest man of true integrity. He is según a credit to Bodine Scott and has an impeccable character and reputation. I will be sure to refer all my clients and family and friends to no one but Bodine Scott. Steve is amazing! Repaired our system in a timely manner. He is very professional and a pleasure to have working in our home. Steve made three trips to get the system running. I called this company on Sunday 8/6/23 however no tech was available to come to my home so I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday morning.They came 8/8/23 and tech put dye in the system to try to find leak in my ac unit, charge was $266.They came 8/10 tech couldn’t find leak no charge.They came 8/12, 1 hr 15 mins late, tech didn’t know what he came to my home for, he didn’t bring uv light to check for leak, used my ladder without asking, then he was looking around in a bedroom with the light on his phone, I asked what he was doing in the bedroom and he said he was looking for the leak, then he left but I have 3 screws missing from my unit & he scratched my unit & he didn’t put back fuse outside. No charge. I was trying to call the company when I saw him in the bedroom to get more information on what happens if leak isn’t found and to verify tech Able actually worked for them however no one would answer the phone. I ended up texting them and the reply text states that my issue will be forwarded to the manager. On 8/14/23 I called to speak with manager and the manager was out of the office. I was able to verify that the tech did work for the company and was told the manager would call me back. I have not received a call from the manager and have now been without working AC for a week. Hope you don’t have an issue with this company because they don’t seam to return calls or be able to fix an ac. I recommend not using this company.

Very prompt and professional service! I got an appointment right away. The technician called to let me know he was on his way and was right on time. The ac inspection was thorough and repairs were reasonably priced.

Ive had many other projects done by Bodine that were very well priced and the turn around time was reasonable so we invested in their maintenance plan. At the spring/summer check up they found my evaporator coils were super dirty even though Ive been asking them and prior companies if it was good and they said yes. I felt really appreciative that the tech Abel showed me and gave a fair price for the clean up.Whats really bothering me is that as part of the maintenance checks that includes things like checking your wires, capacitors freon etc. Apparently the tech missed that the same contactor that Bodine installed in 10/2021 is faulty not even 2 years later. So its been a back and forth for the last 2 weeks and their dispatch and other techs trying to alude to the fact that our compressor was relocated by another HVAC company had something to do with it. Them installing a new line set and hooking up to the new disconnect are completely unrelated to the contactor 1 - not being identified as faulty and 2 - overcharging my system with freon which is never a good thing. Every single call for help has been met with significant delays to respond.I will say that Ive specifically reviewed the feedback that this company had and theyll call a customer a liar or call them out on any outstanding balances which is extremely inappropriate. Im not one to withhold any sort of payment but since Ive invested at least $4000 in both HVAC and plumbing work in the last two years, I think they can wait a few days to collect on the cleaning until they permanently fix this issue.Bodine - weve been waiting since last week for a call from a supervisor and in the mean time they just push me off onto a dispatcher. This is not a oh its hot outside issue. This AC has run just fine for the last 8 years. This weather is not foreign to the region. Please get someone out here tomorrow to fix this please!! This is costing me a ton in electricity in addition to all the other service calls Ive had to ensure the other company is not liable.

Wonderful experience! My home is only 4 years old so when I found out it wasn’t heating and my thermostat wasn’t holding a charge I freaked out.. I called them first thing in the morning and they were here before my scheduled appointment. The tech was very professional. When he listened to my issue he seemed to already know what was going on…moments later my heat, ac, and thermostat are up and running. I’m so thankful the part I needed was still under warranty. Next I’ll be looking into their service plan to keep things running smooth!

I just want to say, big shout out to Ryan Wyatt and his helper for coming out to my pops house at 8pm to finish the job.They came and fixed my central a/c after being without a/c for all the weekend. It was a simple fix and they got the job done in 30 minutes. Appreciate the professionalism and the fast work. A/c is cold and I am happy customer, I will definitely be using the service again.

It took 9 days to get my condenser and pad leveled to prevent possible pipe rupture. Maybe took so long because my situation wasnt an emergency. Techs were very friendly and did a very fine job.

Thomas Martinez is a stand-up repair man. He was quick (same day), and he provided rapid and accurate diagnosis of the problem and meticulously worked to remedy our AC all the while keeping us in the loop throughout the entire process. We have had plenty of experience with other companies trying to gouge us on the pricing but he was very transparent throughout the repairs making sure to run every charge by us with clarity and patience. We ended up with a low cost repair and Brenda took very good care of us during scheduling and also as we wrapped up the payment details. This company also honors military with a discount for active duty personnel! This company is excellent. Very honest. Very knowledgeable. I had a different AC company quote me $4000 for a new compressor, but they recommended I replace everything (all equipment on the roof and the handler) for nearly $14,000. Then along comes Abel from Bodine-Scott. He checked the equipment on the roof. He also pulled a bunch of wires from the handler and tested them. The other company did not test these handler wires. Abel declared our compressor is in good working order. He then replaced the thermostat on the wall for a mere $250. We now have cold air. I need to add this company to my Christmas list!!

Let me tell you. Mr. Kyle Cobbs is by far one of the most professional young men Ive ever met. This gentleman came in explained everything that was going happen as well as worst case scenarios. We didnt get to that point because as he worked the situation, he observed that adjusting the registers wasnt working as well and moved to dampers, which solved everything. He showed me what eaxh room should be CFM wise and got each room close or spot on. All day professional from beginning to the end. If this company has 10 more guys like Kyle. There is no need to call anyone else.

I had a great experience with Bodine Scott. They were very professional. Watching the technician trouble shoot the heat pump unit left me no doubt that he knew what he was doing. Heat pumps can be tricky but he quickly identified the problem and had it fixed within no time. I would definitely recommend them.

We had a broken valve leak under our kitchen sink on Saturday night. We called and were promptly set up for an appointment on Sunday morning. The service we received was great. We were given an accurate estimate of time for the job, and were informed of another issue that could warrant another call-out if not addressed. The plumber was friendly and informative. Had a technician come out twice to put refrigerant in a unit due to a leak. The first time they charged me per pound at 65 dollars. Put 7 pounds for $460. Agreed upon no problem. A few weeks later needed just a few pounds to get through another weekend before a scheduled repair with a separate company.And once the tech gets there Im told a service fee that I didnt have the first time around and wasnt disclosed to me when scheduling is tacked on to the bill of an additional $129. Probably because it was a smaller job. But no one ever told me or I would have just shopped around or ended up waiting out the weekend.

We contracted with Bodine-scott to install a condenser billed at a rate $125/hr, they estimated an 8hr job. The tech arrived and quickly replaced the unit, I had to provide the flushing products as he did not have any with home nor any nitrogen. He attempted to flush the unit from the outside which did not work and was ready to start it up. I did not hear nor see a vacuum pump so I asked what was the vacuum reading he achieved, at that point he installed the vacuum pump and could not get below 950, moreover the readings kept fluctuating, indicating a leak. He did not flush the line set correctly, did not pressure and leak test the line set nor did he vacuum the system. If I had not intervened in time and knew about AC service, my brand new condenser would have been ruined within weeks. They sent another tech to finish the job. Moreover they billed me for 14hrs, when the tech was on the job less than 6 hrs, I contacted them and complained, they adjusted the hours and billing accordingly and I paid it promptly. Now they do not want to WARRANTY their work!

Had a problem with the drain on my A/C today, Sunday. Called and help came within about 3 hours. Fixed!

Our Air-conditioning went out on Wednesday. We had Bodine-Scott A/C come out to check out our unit. The service tech did a very thorough check and it was determined to be compressor failure. At this point I started reaching out to get bids on replacing both inside and outside units. The company I have used for over thirty years said it would be about two weeks before they could come out but would email their bid. Next company was quite different, the salesman was so aggressive that it scared me off, a little too aggressive. Company three, the person that answered my call was helpful but a little on the rude side. Back to Bodine-Scott, the service tech put me in contact with the Manager Karl Christmas and that’s when things started happening. He came by on his way home from work and got the information from both units and said he would sent me his proposals that night. He sent the proposals, 3 units to choose from with very simple language and was easy to understand. We chose the units that would meet our needs and got back with Karl. He handled the paperwork like a true professional and got me scheduled the next day. The installers were very professional and to be quite honest very hard workers in this blazing 🥵 heat. House cooled down very fast and now it’s cold again. We had a house that was at 82-87 without A/C. Bodine-Scott originally installed my A/C unit and have been consistent in their services. We had a slight mix up over the past week on the replacement of parts, but the technicians; Tony, Gilbert, and Juan, along with Betty (dispatching) were able to get our home cool and comfortable again while remaining respectful of my schedule. Google only allows you to rate at 5 stars but I would give these guys a 10 if possible. Thank you!

Bodine-Scott has serviced my home twice now and has always been on time, fast, and efficient. We are happy with their work each time and I love that the servicer always walks me through what the issue is, how it will be fixed, and what to keep an eye out for. It also helps that’s they work great while my dogs are around and they are extremely kind.

Here’s what happened. Because I was not able to find my regular AC service man I frantically searched for AC repairs and remembered the ad for Bodine Scott. They sent a technician, he proceeds to do his thing with gages and notes that the Apacitor multi-purpose needs replacement at a 75$ cost okay. Than he tells me that unit now needs a fan $500 mind you the original problem has stopped “no more sound coming from the unit” (outside) he than talks to me about purchasing new outside unit. He said that it will eventually give out okay, I said I will let it do that before deciding on a new purchase. I had my technician follow up and he pointed out to me an overload of freon and also loosened screws causing gradually Freon escapethat would have eventually caused the unit to give out. The technician no doubt wanted to make a sell which was fine I understand that but don’t be the cause of the problem. The unit has been working fine. I am totally disappointed with the insincerity of the technician and it reflects badly on Bodine Scott a well established business. When the unit does give out (if it happens) I will take my business elsewhere.

AC tech Juan was extremely professional, kind and proficient. When time and proficiency matters I use Bodine & Scott.

The 2 guys who came arrived earlier than expected, had to trouble shoot for a long time, tried everything to fix our problem and succeeded. Communicated well as they worked, were polite and diligent.

Pleasant to do business with. Great in trying not to break the house apart to remove or install the new system. No issues with the installation as of yet at two weeks. Sales guy Karl made me aware of all items be replaced and warranty coverage and options. Would do business with them again.

I thought this project would be another headache and to my surprise it was the opposite. We got bids from a least 6 other contractors and we definitely feel that we made a great choice.

John promptly came out to do the assessment, provide us pricing, started and ended the job exactly as he promised. Mathew and Robert were at my house each morning before I left to work and I live in Aransas Pass. They replaced all of our duct work and AC unit. AMAZING customer service. I have had three companies now look at my AC. This is the first one who actually went into the attic and looked at the coil. They spent time determining what was wrong rather than just saying the system needs Freon and then leave. I was recommended Bodine-Scott from a friend as they had a great experience and I am glad I call and had them look at my system. Will be sharing my experience with others.

Gilbert and Trent came in, got the job done, communicated what they were doing, cleaned up, and were professional. They did a great job. They even called to let me know that they were on their way before they showed up.

The first visit the tech. did not check for a leak. I paid $350 for two parts that I did not need and Freon that leaked out within a few days. When I called back to explain the problem Melissa forgot to add me to the schedule. After calling again I had another tech. find the leak. I was suppose to receive a call about the part that needed replacement. I did not get that call. I had to call again. The quote was $400 over two other quotes I received. I ask for a refund for the unnecessary $350 I spent on the first visit. She said they did what they were supposed to do. So that did not happen either. So after wasting $350 and over a week of no A/C I took my business else where. I would NEVER recommend this company and I am pretty sure whose tech. are way over worked! .

Paid $7,500 for brand new air conditioning system in our new home. It worked 2 weeks and went out. We are now on Day 5 of Summer heat with no air conditioning. They have been very polite to me in the 4 times Ive called, but still no urgency to help us at all. I have never written a negative review, ever. I am a very positive, patient person. But this level of service is JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE at all. Very disappointed.

There was a tad bit of miscommunication on their side in the beginning. But Ill attribute that to how busy they have been after hurricane Harvey. Technician was very professional and quick at his job to diagnose the issue with our old/outdated HVAC system. Sales rep was also very professional, and helpful. Offered to help make sure we could keep the old unit running long enough to get the new one in. They showed up early (around 8ish) on the date of install. And they were able to get the job done it what appeared to be an efficient manner.I have absolutely nothing bad I can say about any of my interactions with any person affiliated with the company.New system works amazing. Thank you for getting to me so quickly.

Technice an was thorough, and professional. Best of all he explained everything he found wrong, and how he was going to fix it. Upon completion of the work, he made it a point to tell us it should be fixed, but if we were not happy with the repairs just let them know and they would come back. Awesome customer service, knowledgeable technician and good ol fashion friendliness. A plus in my book.

Like every business in our Country, want to sell a part that cost $120 for $950 + call fee + diagnostic fee+ pee outside fee+ sun heat fee. Is ridiculous how expensive these ac companies operate. Learn to fix and install your own A/C unit . Paying for the capacitation is way less expensive than what you will spend with these companies!

AC stop kooling in the condo. Called Bodine Scott AC and was amazed that I got service the same day. Shane checked out my unit. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with the findings. I had a follow up issue and Able came out immediately and check my unit again. I have never made a service call and got service in the same day . Thank you Shane and Abel. Definitely recommend your service!

Service representative arrived earlier than expected. He was very friendly and as he explained what he was doing, he was also showing me where and why this part needed to be replaced. He quickly had my a/c running again. The only thing that bothered me was I never received a reciept that was to be emailed to me. I requested it twice.

People BEWARE, this company will price gouge on parts. Tried selling me a generic blower motor, which the repairman was ignorant of the fact the blower motor needed to be programmed, I found the correct blower motor for 250.00 cheaper, not generic, but original replacement. I do not recommend or trust this company. The internet is a wonderful tool, do your research before they come on service call.

Michael from Bodine Scott came as soon as he could & diagnosed the problem quickly. He was able to get our A/C back & running. He informed us of the problem & gave us some information that could help us in the future. It is greatly appreciated.

Reminder did not purchase anythingWas getting a free 2nd estimate.We called one day and got ahold of someoneHad to remind them of coupon at end. Call ended with someone coming by at 2(called at 1pm).Waited from 1pm to 5:30 no calls nothing called back doesnt know if tech is still coming gonna call us back, calls back saying no not till tomorrow we say thats fine when is time 11am.Next day tech calls says now 2:45pm we say thats fine also. Shows up at 3pm for 8 min proceds to knock boots around in attic giving an ugly attitude the whole time proceeds to leave with not saying anything stop him at door to ask he says hell email with estimate. Day 4 no email.Again did not purchase anything.

Our 14 year old AC that had never given us trouble quit working on a Friday in the middle of July, so I was in urgent need of cooling. I scheduled an install with a different, well reviewed company that I had very positive encounters with. But when my property manager son-in-law heard their estimate, he thought it was too high. I made calls on a Saturday for estimates to Bodine-Scott & a couple other companies for a bid. Karl at Bodine-Scott was the only other company to respond. He came over on Sunday and gave me an estimate that was $4000 less than the other estimate with a comparable system, and offered to install it the next day, Monday. The installers (I wish I could remember their names) were at our house as scheduled and installed units inside and outside (inside being the attic on a day when it was 90 degrees outside- it had to be 110 in the attic). They were so nice. The lead installer gave up a day off to do our job. They were finished by 5:00 and you’d never know they had been there, except that our house was cool.Amazingly responsive which I really needed in this “emergency”. I can’t say enough about how well this went, (except that I have their jingle stuck in my head now). If you want a good price with straight talk about what you need (and don’t need) in an air conditioning system from a company with excellent customer service, this is the place.7/22/21 I’m adding a review following cleaning our clothes dryer duct & vents. Again, 5 ⭐️ in all respects. I texted them late at night through their website asking if they performed this service. I got a reply next morning including their rate of $125/hour. Good news for me I got a 10% discount because I had a maintenance agreement (inexpensive & covers a seasonal a/c exam twice/ year).I wanted to diy this project but couldn’t get into the wall duct due to the kind of box that was installed in the wall. Our duct goes through the attic & out the roof. We were getting a new dryer on 7/23. They were able to come out on 7/22 -just 2 days after I called. They, of course, had a machine that made quick work of the chore. The tech had to cut through the duct in the attic & then repair it - still charged the same hourly rate in the original quote. He did it all in less than an hour.Great company.

The technician was very polite and friendly and answered all our questions. He did a thorough cleaning of the plumbing pipes in the kitchen.

Very professional great customer service all the way around. AC went out called in the morning they got here before noon and fixed my problem in under 15min. Thank you!

Kelby was great. He showed up about 30 minutes after I called on a Sunday evening. He quickly found the problem and fixed it. Also found out the system was low on freon and took care of that. He explained what he had found and what he had done. Cant say enough good things about this service call.

We are very happy with Bodine-Scott and thrilled to have our new unit. John went over and beyond to ensure that we were completely satisfied throughout the entire process. I would 100% recommend them to friends and family!!!

Kyle was so prepared and found a lot of little problems. We will see in a few days if he solved our high humidity problem, but feel Confident that he did.

Weve been loyal customers for years, so when our AC went out three days ago, we had a Bodine Scott technician come out. He quickly found the issue but said he couldnt quote or purchase the part since the warehouse is closed on Sunday. He told me to expect a call on Monday with quotes. I never got a call. Instead, I called twice on Monday. The first time, they didnt have an answer for me. The second time, no one answered or called me back after I left a message. Its now Tuesday afternoon and still no call. I called another repairman this morning, and my AC was fixed within three hours. I was loosely quoted $800, but encouraged to do about a $1400-$1600 repair from the Bodine Scott technician. The price I paid to my NEW repairman was $340!

Great company! Great support! Especially thankful that they have Steve Govan. He listened to my problems I noticed with the new system. Answered them, came up with a repair plan and went above and beyond. He even identified where I have cold air leaking from ducting, by using his personally bought thermal imager! Thank you very much!

Bodine-Scott beat my old AC company’s bid by &2K. They were able to install the next day (today, a Sunday). They arrived on time at 7 am, did the install professionally and neatly, didn’t even leave a mess, and finished three hours earlier than projected. I am now enjoying my nice cold house. I can’t even hear the unit running.

I can’t thank Bodine-Scott enough for the job they did to replace my 100 year old mother in laws A/C.John Lancaster came out and gave us an honest and professional bid and the installation crew of Juan and Adam did everything he said they would do. Juan and Adam showed up on time and even though it was over 100 degrees they got everything done in a timely manner. They too we honest and professional. As a general contractor from California I appreciate the job Bodine-Scott did on such short notice. great job!

Service was good once they arrived . Was told by dispatch they would be on site first thing in the morning, no show , called several times was told they were on there way. Didn’t show up until 1:00 This happened a couple of days in a row. A phone call informing me of this situation would have been helpful so we could schedule our day instead of us calling throughout the the day and waiting for technician to arrive. First day was a no show at all . In the end the service was good
