I wanted to say thank you Gordon and Sons HVAC for the new system. After 21 years and the original owner of my home I felt I was going to be proactive in getting some estimates and have a new system installed and choose Jack Gordon and Son to do the job. The installers did a great job answering any questions and making sure they installed my new system correctly. My old system was 3.5t so I upgraded to 4t Ruud what a difference once the system kicks on I can instantly feel the cold air circulating. I am completely satisfied thank you Kirk and Jose their lead system installer in addition to Jose coming over on a Saturday a day after the installation to check on my system making sure everything was working well. Great company and Great people I recommend doing business with them

Hi, I just wanted to give this company the highest rating possible!! After Beryl came through, we lost power from July 8-13th. When power was restored, everything came on except the A/C!! Alan came out that pm, and assessed the problem. He fixed it this morning!! Each time we have had a problem, it has been addressed almost immediately, and resolved!! Jack Gordon & Sons has consistently been one of the best A/C companies Ive ever used - their techs are knowledgeable and communicate well, they actually track down the problem rather than make assumptions, and they keep me informed along the way. Their techs Robert and Jacob have been great to us, and I always expect great service and fair treatment - no add-ons or unneeded costs. Id highly recommend them to anyone, have done so with my friends, and they say the same things.

Our A/C crashed on a Saturday and their technician came right out. He was not able to fix it as the entire system needed replacement. Got several bids and went with them, because they did an excellent job of explaining what had happened and how they would not just replace the old system, but improve it. I am very glad I went with them. They installed the new system promptly and professionally and have followed up to insure that it is running correctly. Happy to say that even though they would come service it for free, I have not needed them to do that as it was installed properly the 1st time.

Jack Gordon & Sons Air Conditioning & Heating were exemplary in their response and support, this past week. One of our central units stopped working. Personnel came on Saturday morning, to inspect the unit and ordered the parts, for repairs to be done the following Tuesday. The shipped part, was found to be defective. Technician committed to expedited procurement of new part. The owner of Jack Gordon & Sons Air Conditioning & Heating personally picked up the part the following day (yesterday) and had it installed. The unit is fully functional.I am truly thankful for Jack Gordon & Sons Air Conditioning & Heating for their outstanding customer service.

They installed a brand new, 2 unit A/C and furnace system to replace my 22-year old system and did an absolutely amazing job at a great value. They could not have been more professional or efficient. I could not be happier.

I started using Jack Gordan and Sons several years ago when my home warranty program failed me. I was told by someone my home warranty program sent, when my AC stopped working, the part that needed to be fixed, was not covered under my home warranty. I would need to pay around $1000 to get that fixed. Luckily, I went on my own to receive a second opinion. I called Jack Gordon and Son, after asking a Facebook group if anyone had any recommendations. The company came out the same day. They fixed what needed to be fixed, and I only paid the service fee. I would have spent around $900.00 more if I followed my warranty programs advice. Jack Gordon and Son have now always been our familys go-to for AC repairs. In all fairness... I am not a current customer of JG&S but I have just recently had two of the Gordons come out to my home to help access AC issues we are having (newer construction other HVAC company installer) . This was the 5th AC company we had try to identify our problem and the Gordons were by far the most informative and willing to help. We will be using JG&S for our maintenance program moving forward and appreciate their time and knowledge to date. We look forward to recommending them to our friends and neighbors. I have to give a huge shout out to Jack Gordon & Sons as they are absolutely amazing. They were all super nice and very professional and I love that they are all about family! Our AC went out during one of the hottest weeks of the summer and we had to have the whole unit replaced. Since they were not able to install it the same day, they brought a portable AC unit for us to use in our bedroom until they could get the new system up and running. We have found our lifetime AC company/family!!

This company is by far the best! I called because my AC went out in my house, well as you know living in Texas at this time of the year, that just wasn’t going to work. So I called and was able to get someone out within a day. The nice gentleman came out and knew exactly what the issue was! He was able to get us back up and running within an hour or so. I can’t thank you guys enough for your amazing work and professionalism!!

The service that I received from Jack Gordon & Sons while having my A/C system replaced was outstanding! The service technicians were very nice and made sure that I fully understood the new operating settings of the new NEST thermostat that I requested to have installed with my new system. The technicians also made sure everything was cleaned up and that i was fully satisfied before they left. I recommended Jack Gordon and Sons to my Aunt today before i wrote this review.

I wish cost estimates would have been disclosed. I knew there would be an $85 charge for a diagnostic service but was flabbergasted when I was told $600 to charge my Freon on a house a/c that is two years old! The technician was polite and knowledgeable so despite the $600, I am satisfied with this company’s overall services.

I usually get same or next day service and they are fantastic about fixing whatever is broken with my AC/heat ASAP. I wont go anywhere else! Professional, courteous, and knowledgable technicians. You just cant find better service in the area for the amazingly low prices you pay!

My experience with this firm was nothing short of excellent.I highly recommend them for any A/C job. In fact I plan to have them check my bigger unit.This job turned out to be a particularly difficult one since they had to remedy a lot of items the original installer installed incorrectly while working in a small, hot attic. I had a emergency because the A.C. went out in my lease house in The Woodlands where an 6 months infant and Mom live. I called my Home Warranty Company that contacted 10 contractors. Only one responded but could not come out for two days. I was lucky to receive a referral from a friend to Jack Gordon and Sons. I called Roger who works there and a technician was there in less than 30 minutes and fixed the problemI would highly recommend them and will using them on my investment properties and to my clients. Made the appointment at 8:00 AM was told they would be there between 3 and 6 pm. They were over a 1.5 hrs late with no call. Then the tech finally made it he found the problem. The coil was in need of cleaning. Okay fine but come to find out he didnt have the cleaner on his truck. Was told he would have to come back the following day. Thank goodness it was cooler that night.Following day was told he would be there at 4 wife had to take off work early as I was out of town working . The tech was over a 1 hr. Late again. He did fix the AC and it works fine now in closing they did good work but being late two days in a row and not having the supplies needed to do the job the first day didnt make use happy and the pricing was very high.

We’ve been using this company for almost 30 years and through three homes. They keep your equipment running and they never try to take advantage or oversell.

They kept me informed that the technician was delayed on his job but assured me I was next. Naythan was polite and knowledgeable. Did not try to sale me anything I didn’t need. Explained everything and answered all my questions. Will be using them again!

I really hoped I had found a good AC company. I bought 2 units ( my home and a rental ). It seems that I was calling them back out every six months for something I thought shouldn’t have been an issue. The first 2 calls were no charge but then started charging me. We reconnected with an old cousin and found out he owned an AC company. This is where I was educated on the lack of quality I had received from Jack Gordans crew. I spent $10K for a new AC in 2011 and this week just paid $2800 to my cousin ( with the family discount) to replace the coil (which I found was a cheap version of the Ruud I thought I bought) plenum, reconnect copper, etc..and there was a two inch gap sucking air from the attic raising my AC by who knows how much. Poor install, subpar parts, and more service calls than necessary has been my experience.Multiple visits to my rental as well until called the cousin.

Few things are as infuriating as watching your widowed mother get ripped off. I would not recommend this company to anyone I cared about. My mother has had this company out four times this past year. (Once for a regular check up on system when she moved into the house, once to have the overflow pipe blowed clear, and these two calls I am about to describe) The last two visits were the straw that broke the camels back. After calling them out to service a unit where the fan was not blowing for the a/c, the serviceman said the circuit board for the furnace was bad. He said the board part was $575 and the service call was $85. From talking to other HVAC contractors, it would appear she was seriously price gouged on the part. Nonetheless, my mother paid them for the work. While the serviceman was working, I had to go pick my kids up from school and could not stay to ensure the serviceman fully tested the a/c and furnace before leaving. My mother is crippled and has many pins and rods in her leg and could not climb the stairs to verify that he did indeed test the a/c and heater before leaving. Neither the a/c or heater was turned on for the next two days as it is winter and temperatures lately have been mild. On the second day after the repair, it was Friday evening and cool weather came through. The children said it was 56 degrees upstairs even though the thermostat heat was set to on. We immediately called Jack Gordon and Sons and they sent out a repairman after hours. It was a different repairman than had done the work in the furnace two days earlier. He discovered the reset button on the furnace had not been pushed on; after pushing it, everything worked okay. He charged $50. My husband called this company to appeal to them about how unfair it is to charge us for a service fee when their first repairman clearly did not test the a/c and furnace after replacing the furnace circuit board. If he had after completing his work, he would have discovered that switch needed to be pressed to reset the furnace. This was the very first time the unit was turned on by us when we discovered that it had been tripped. We didnt run the unit for two days and suddenly it tripped. We should not have to pay for the second visit because the first guy should have caught that by testing the unit after he completed his work. Despite disagreeing with the charge, my mother wrote a check for the $50 and asked my husband to call the company on Monday. It took two full days and repeated calls to the company to finally talk to someone in charge about this fee. When we finally spoke with someone, the person was rude and prideful and refused to absorb the $50 fee that we were charged for in essence, testing the unit like the first guy said he had done, but had not. Despite the fact this was the very first time the unit was turned on after the first guy did work in the furnace, the company insists it is all just coincidence and that it is a different problem and that we must pay for the second service call. That is crooked. We are loyal, fair customers. We expect the same from people we hire. It is our opinion that this is an unscrupulous company that is unfairly taking advantage of people and a company that will not stand by their work. If you want to be treated fairly and with respect and not feel like you have been taken advantage of, you may want to consider hiring a different HVAC company. We have three HVAC units and we like to have all of them serviced every single year. There was definitely the potential for Jack Gordon and Sons to create a lifelong customer if they would have treated us right. But that ship has sailed. We will definitely be looking for a company we can trust to be honest and fair.

I have very old unit they were able to fix heater with no problem. Actually worked better than before it went out. Very reasonably priced. When summer months came my A/C was having problems they repaired it with no additional charge. Very trustworthy and reliable company

Jacob went above and beyond to make sure the ac is working properly! He was supposed to just do a quick second opinion but instead went ahead and checked everything and took his time until he found the issue and got everything up and running again.
