On November 27, 2024, around midnight, I discovered I was having a major flooding disaster in my home from a busted water pipe drain valve. After discovering the leak, and getting the water turned off at the main, I spent hours cleaning up the water. I contacted Lowe’s about installation of a new water heater. ARS coordinator, Tyler, came on Monday and discussed options, estimates with me. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Today ARS personnel arrived and installed a tankless water heater on my wall. They had to make several adjustments to go from a standard water heater to tankless. They did neat work and professional looking work. They left everything clean and in order. I highly recommend them! It’s so wonderful to have hot water again!
I’m extremely grateful for the service provided today by ARS and Mr Mike Watson. Especially because of the prompt response and action taken. Mr Mike was was pleasant and patient. He did a good job at explaining everything to me and was very professional. We are very satisfied.

We’ve used ARS for our last couple system checks on our HVAC. Our tech, Justin, has consistently been excellent. Honest guy who shoots straight with you about what you really need and don’t. Always great customer service from him. Arrives when he says he will, does what he’s supposed to do, knows his stuff and actually follows up. Great experience.
Service was absolutely outstanding. Just 25 hours after walking in to Lowes to purchase a new hot water heater I had two techs at my house installing it! The techs were wonderful, explained everything and did a fantastic job. I am absolutely thrilled with service.
Amazing service. Our AC stopped blowing cold the other night so the next morning I called the company that installed it and booked an appointment online as well. They never showed or answered their phone so at 345 pm I went online to ARS and booked an appointment. Within 10 mins they called for a quick run down and said they would send a guy between 6-9pm. Cool. They showed up at 5! Diagnosed the issue and had us with cold air again. Totally amazing experience and reliable service. Completely impressed and the price was good. Thanks for rescuing us!
I got a brand new system put it Feb by them. What a nightmare. Im a 100% disabled veteran and ask for a good phone number to reach them if something went wrong. So they gave me the number 713-203-7666. After the first month I had an issue with the ac leaking and causing water damage around the vent. Left voice-mails, no one got back. Then I started having issues with it keeping the temperature during the day when it got hot. So I called no answers, left voice mails, and no one got back to me. Then I went back to Lowes to ask about what to do and they said I need to get ahold of them to fix it. So after it stop working again this sat around noon-4pm I decided to call as a new customer and finally got through. They sent over someone to look at the unit that day, but that the first time since they installed it someone checked on it. So 7 months later. He ran tests and hosed it off. Showed me a picture of a sensor with insulation in it. He was very nice. Not really sure whats wrong with it, currently in the process of finding out what is wrong and how to fix it.
I am outraged by the incompetent and dangerous installation of my brand-new AC/Heating system by ARS / Rescue Rooter Conroe. The system requires a circuit breaker with a minimum amperage of 32.5 - 50, yet they installed it to a 30-amp breaker—far too low to handle the load safely. This is not a minor mistake—it is a serious electrical hazard that could have resulted in a fire, electrical failure, or severe damage to my home.To make matters worse, ARS / Rescue Rooter did not even have an electrician verify the installation. Their technicians either did not know what they were doing or simply did not care about ensuring a safe and proper install. Now, just over a year later, I am being told I have to pay $625 to fix their mistake. This is completely unacceptable.ARS / Rescue Rooter advertises “trusted, certified technicians” and promises “quality service, every time”—but clearly, these words are meaningless when they leave customers with a hazardous electrical setup and then try to charge them hundreds of dollars to fix their own negligence. How many other homes have they put at risk? How many customers are unknowingly living with dangerous electrical installations because ARS technicians cut corners and failed to do their job properly?This is not just about money—it is about safety and accountability. ARS needs to take full responsibility for their reckless and improper installation and cover the full cost of replacing the breaker. I refuse to pay for their failure, and I expect them to make this right immediately. If ARS truly stands by their promise of “customer satisfaction,” then it’s time for them to prove it.
I had bad experience with that company. They are contractor with Lowes, so I gave them a try. When they come install to my house, they not finish the job. The access panel not installed, the AC is too loud. Lowes gave us a discount $750 but they refuse to give us $750 back because we already sign loan with their financing company and they told me they already put a discount on the paper that I sign. Thats weird because I didnt know that when I sign the paper. The man who come estimate to my house just give me a discount because I join the ARMY, not discount from Lowes. I saw the coupon $2024 off when installing new HVAC system. One woman call me and said that this coupon only valid for new system above 20k. They didnt write anything on the website coupon. I gave them a try and then now very dissaponited with this big company. DONT DO business with this company!!!!
ARS was very timely, Efficient And courteous in draining my hot water heaters And at a very reasonable price. On a separate matter, they recently inspected my air conditioning systems And likewise, I was very impressed. If you seek reviews online of this company, it is very important that you Look at ARS Conroe and not ARS In general. This company and his personnel appear to be Quite solid.
I was very disappointed in the schedule that was 10am - 2pm and after calling 4 times to see when someone would come for the appointment and with all the promises, the tech got here at 3:30 pm. Rocky was awesome! His appointment before me ran late. Honesty would have been appreciated. Also, over $300 for just walking in my house - the trip charge.
Quick response and very professional. My tech was named Chris and he was friendly and thorough, explained all the options and was not pushy or salesy. He took care of what we needed and I was very pleased. Highly recommend!
Kevin came out and gave us a quote. Was very nice and helpful. He got us scheduled for 2 hours later for a new hot water tank. The 2 guys that came out to put it in were very professional and nice. Was very happy with them.
Came out to do a yearly check-up, and ended up having to replace my entire HVAC system instead of doing some temporary expensive bandaid fixes. I got a 10yr warranty on my system, and negotiatied a fair price out the door, so I feel ok with my decision to replace the entire system.
Ricardo and Carlos were excellent HVAC installers while communicating throughout the process of installing my new AC & heating unit and taking care of my home while working!! My sales technician, Justin, answered all my questions and educated me about what my different options were during the purchase process and installation of my new unit including taking care of an installation problem that came up. The whole team at the ARS Conroe branch were outstanding in customer care and insuring that everything was done correctly and timely!!

Tyler came in on a weekend, was polite, honest and got straight to work troubleshooting a potential issue. Luckily nothing was leaking or disastrous so that gave us a piece of mind. I’d highly recommend!
This is a work in progress as the company has not yet been back to finish the job as stated. There was confusion about the job and I really don’t know if I needed all that was done, which of course cost much more than another process. Too many language issues and he said and I said. The problem seems to be solved and has a warranty on work which I am counting on . Just feeling numb at this point. Waiting to see if I will have to call or they will come out and take care of job without that. I know they were busy after the freeze and my work is not an emergency but there are limits on everything.

Josh came out because we were having troubles with our AC. He immediately started to assess the damage y AC had. As he was going through his assessment, he was explaining why things were functioning properly. He figured out what the issue with the AC and why it was tripping our breaker, gave me the repair cost, we approved it and he immediately started to fix it. I didn’t have to wait for him to come back another day or anything. He fixed my issue on the spot.

If you live in Spring, Conroe, or the Woodlands and have A/C needs absolutely DO NOT use ARS Rescue Rooter - Conroe. Incorrectly installed unit, board went out at 3 months, flow safe not hooked up. Pan overflowed causing water to come through the ceiling. Did not get call back about our damages. We are having to pay for a coil cleaning. Not to mention one of the key issues we wanted solved paying for a bigger unit is worse than when we started. We have a window unit to help cool a room. Again we have to pay to fix this! Make it make sense. 10 out of 1O WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Absolutely horrible experience!! We put these 2 units in December 23rd. Not even 1 year and we have had more issues than the 19 years with our previous units. If I could put a 0 star I would.
Jonathan Stone and the team at ARS were very professional. We needed a new water heater and had it moved from our attic to the garage. ARS was very quick and accommodating with a quote and the process. Installation went great and we are very satisfied!
Came and quickly got our heater working again right before the big freeze of 2025 with snow in the forecast. Huge shout out to Justin Hines, a standup and efficient guy. Will definitely stick to ARS for any future problems!

I had them out to clear a sink drain on 10/24. The salesman as I’ll call him because technician or plumber would be incorrect, stated he ran the snake in the pipe and it was “full of grease”. He said he would need to do a $500 cleaning. I informed him the pipe was in the ceiling of my garage and I could replace the pipe myself for around $100. He advised against doing the work myself not knowing I’ve been in construction my whole life to include ground up house builds. He had me sign a paper stating no charge and left.I then discovered he told the garage apartment tenant that they could not use the sink and he left the connections under the sink loose so that they would leak if they did use the sink. I ran my 25’ hand snake in the pipe and immediately cleared the clog and it’s worked fine since. All they did was create work for me and lie!
Chris ( the Lic. Plumber) showed up to the job site on time. I always had communications with the dispatcher and Chris. He worked diligently on our sewer blockage but to no avail. The blockage was beyond his equipment reach. We have over 250 of drain pipe before reaching the city sewer system. I give Ars/Rescue Rooter a 10 out of 10. Thanks guys.
They were fast and friendly. They worked around my schedule to get it done right. I had water damage that I needed to deal with before the new heater was installed so they removed the old unit one day and installed on another. Giving me time to get everything dried out and treated first.
I did not care for the man that came , very smart assy. I didnt feel like I could trust him. He kept changing prices constantly. Also told me I needed to replace my heat unit because it was 10 years old and out of warranty. He said if I bought a new one it would be under warranty. He said my heater was not worn out, just thought I needed a new heater just so it could be under warranty. He made no sense.
Home Depot said they could show up Sunday Morning for an estimate but ARS called this morning and said they could not make it. If they are truly ‘Open 24 hours’ then they should be able to provide an estimate. I will not have an opportunity to experience their ‘4.7 Rating’ service.It’s a big city, there will always be another potential customer.
Jacob was on time, friendly and informative. He was able to identify the issue and get the situation resolved. I noticed he spent about half an hour testing his work to make sure it was completely resolved. This is important given we have had 2 previous people work on our plumbing problem.

Had an appointment yesterday, received a text with confirmation. There was no call, no show. After calling the CS line they stated they would send a text to dispatch and I would receive a call. I never heard from them! I do not recommend!!!

Mike has been one of our AC techs with ARS Rescue Rooter for -2-3 different visits. He is experienced, takes the time to explain and makes sure you feel like you’ve had all your questions answered. He came out for a quick service call because another contractor tripped our float and the air wasn’t cycling properly. It was no longer an issue by the time he arrived, but we were happy to have the issue explained to prevent it in the future. He is a great asset to ARS. As long as he’s with ARS you have repeat customers.
I give a one star. The plumber didn’t know anything then proceeded to ask us for tools like flashlight . When I called to make appointment I straight said it was under my mobile home where my shower was. He was not knowledgeable and would not recommend

I feel like they robbed me. My wife was in ICU and I needed to have the work down. They charged over 2k to install a new water heater. That did include installing a drip pan and a filter, but the actual unit costs 700. I didnt have time to get other people in the house with my wife in ICU but my gut tells me the sales guys are commissioned. While the guys who did the install and work was great, they still robbed me because they could. No value in hiring them, the pricing is incredibly high IMO.
They were able to come out the same evening. The technician was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them again for all of my HVAC services.

Did not perform services as listed aand paid for per Lowe’s BLACK FRIDAY special of complete HVAC checkout of heating and cooling systems to include filter replacement ( owner to supply filter). Said it was too cold to do ac as could damage compressor below 60F. Current temp was 66F. Said filter replacement was extra charge so we had our grandson do it.

Called a different AC place first and the fee to dianosis the problem was $89 and then the quote was $350 to $1500 depending on the cost of the parts and how much work would be required.Called ARS for a second opinion and the technician had my unit fixed in less than 2 hours with a total cost of less than $300. ARS will be my go-to AC place going forward.All I needed was a new thermostat. The other place wanted to replace the entire blower motor.
The technician arrived on time with my appointment scheduled window. They called first, before arriving which is a plus. My system checked out and they were off to the next customer.
Justin was just here and he checked out our ac and told us everything we needed to know to keep it running smoothly. He was fast, efficient and friendly. There should be more people like him in this world. We will definitely be calling ARS for any future needs and highly recommend this company.

Very disappointed with the delays in getting someone out.When a technician did come and I explained the problem, he told me that the coupon did not apply to this service. What?! I had explained the problem and mentioned the coupon to at least 2 people when trying to schedule or reschedule but was never told that the coupon would not be applicable.$350 to snake the drain pipe into which the sink that has been clogging up drains and $275 to snake from the sink.Talk about bait and switch! I am livid! I will NEVER call them for service again!

They have installed an AC unit for me, and a water heater for me. They did a great job on those jobs. Recently after the hurricane my AC blower went out and they replaced it under warranty. Glad to have their service.

These folks are wonderful. Justin and another girl whos name I missed came out same day to fix our ac unit. They were in and out quickly and were incredibly friendly and personable. Highly recommend them.
😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡After purchasing a new unit today, they came out quickly to install it. They left the property without coming into the house to check if it was working properly. Within 5 minutes, I realized there was no air blowing out of the vents. I called them back immediately—they couldn’t have been more than 5 minutes down the road—and was told it would be 2 hours before they could get a technician back out. I am a single person, and I have to go to work, so now my only choice is to wait until tomorrow morning for them to come out. They should never have left this property without checking to make sure everything was working properly. After paying $13,000, I should have had a working unit before they left the property.

Overall terrible experience. We waited all day only to be told they couldn’t fix it that day. The following day the service man did not show up at the time we were told he would and were told the issue was way more expensive than we know it should be.

ARS is consistently really good at taking care of us. I can’t speak for others but I’ve had so many positive experiences. From working with Mike, Chris, and Justin I feel like I’ve been well taken care of and not taken advantage of. They respect my home and family. And after you’ve worked with the same people for a while they become those uncles with the tool belts. They keep my home OLD SCHOOL COOL.

Not sure what happened but ARS has really gone downhill. While the has been some decent people who would come and service my ac/heat units, the past few do the bare minimum. They are trying to maximize adding extras for cleaning, replacement parts, and other items.I pay over $400 a year for their subscription service but do not get that value in return for the services provided. $840 to vacuum up dirt and dust and wipe down a coil!? I had been told that cleaning up that dust was part of the service, and the first few actually did that. Now it’s a very pricey addition!Their subscription service is also supposed to provide a plumbing service yet I am constantly told I have to call a different number for that. The only time one has come to my home in over a year is when I called in an emergency, but it still took over 24 hours to get someone here.Im done with ARS and would rather give a local company my business. They seem to appreciate it more.
I got an appt for fixing my exhaust vent pipe for my water heater very quickly. The tech was very thorough and very professional in getting the job done well. Very pleased with the service.
For me, the furnace was a year old. James took a picture up in the attic of my filter and it was filled with dust. He also advised me about the surge protector and a flood alarm that could be used to prevent water in the attic.

Francisco was great today in tuning up our A/C. He explained what was running low and his recommendations on getting the part replaced and also to think about a surge protector in case another storm comes and wouldnt mess up our unit. Very efficient and quick on the tune up visit.

When he first came out to our home, my husband showed Jonathan the hot water heater. When he left, my husband said we don’t need to get any more bids. We will go with ARS because of Jonathan. The crew that came out were great too! Even when I had to call ARS they were always helpful! They made sure my roof from the vent was installed properly and stayed for after hours to make sure it didn’t leak! Excellent service all around!

Francisco did our annual check and indicated that the blower wheel was pretty dirty after seven years of use and that the system most likely was running on 85%. We got an estimate that we compared with other providers and we confirmed with ARS. Francisco did the job well and efficient. After a long and exhausting day at work, I came home late Saturday night to find my house unbearably hot and stuffy. My poor dog was panting, and his water bowl had run dry. I quickly checked the thermostat, which was set to 70°F, only to find the temperature inside had soared to 88°F.I did a quick inspection of my attic HVAC unit, but everything seemed to be in order, though I admittedly wasn’t sure what to look for. Outside, the AC unit was making a strange beeping noise, and while the fan was running, no cold air was flowing into the house.Desperate for a solution, I reached out to Lowe’s, who connected me with ARS. To my relief, ARS Conroe called me early Sunday morning around 8 or 9 AM to let me know a technician was available that day. Knowing help was on the way, I did my best to get through the hot, humid night by opening windows and turning on all the ceiling fans. My dog and I even went for a drive to cool off in some air conditioning, which was a much-needed reprieve.On Sunday, Josh B., the ARS HVAC technician, arrived right on time. He was thorough, professional, and took the time to explain each step of the process, including the costs, so there were no surprises at the end. Josh’s approach was meticulous, starting broad and then narrowing down the issue, which I appreciated as it kept the repair cost-efficient.He inspected everything—the capacitor, compressor, condenser coils, and evaporator—and he did an excellent job of breaking down complex HVAC terms into something I could easily understand. As someone who works in Critical Care, I was particularly impressed when he likened the HVAC system to the human body; it was a top-notch analogy.Josh’s honesty and competence stood out to me. We scheduled for AC tuneup and no one ever showed up on Saturday June 29, 2024 between 12 and 4 pm. We stated at home to wait for someone to show up. I called and they said serviceman canceled and we had to reschedule. We rescheduled for today Tuesday July 2, 2024 same thing happened my husband called at 4:10 pm and they said someone will show up on Wednesday. Terrible communication to the customer having us stay home for 4 hours before even letting us know appointment was cancelled so disappointing. On Wednesday at 12:00 I called the number listed on my response and the person answered and said there is no Quality Assurance team and transferred me. Someone else answered the number I was transferred to and said he didn’t know why I was transferred. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing and this is how customer service works at ARS. Please give me a name to contact since no one knows what is going on.

Overall we had a great experience! They scheduled our appointment on the same day on the Saturday right before Christmas. The office personnel kept me informed of my appointment time and when to expect the technician. The technician Jonathan was very nice and knowledgeable. EDIT: To classify $900+ per hour as “not always the most budget friendly” is utterly ridiculous.Bought a water softener from Home Depot. This is the company Home Depot gave me to use. Had them out to give an estimate. They wanted $1800 to install a water softener. In a house that was already plumbed for it.The guy giving the estimate told me a couple things—first that it would be an easy install as it’s already plumbed, so 1-2 hours at most. Then that he had personally spoken to the manager about the estimate. I asked him “so you are saying your hourly rate is $900+ per hour?” His only response was “I don’t make the prices, don’t shoot the messenger. Because I was absolutely incredulous about that price and I was clear about that.I tried calling for the manager. Never got a return call. I will definitely also complain to Home Depot. FYI, Wallin plumbing gave an estimate that was well under $500. And a handy man did the job for $275. Be sure to get multiple estimates if you get one from this company, because obviously they are at least sometimes completely off the wall on how they determine a price.
This rating is strictly based on the technician and district service manager and not ARS in general.The technician (Justin Hines) who arrived to repair the new A/C units we bought from ARS did a remarkable job resolving the issue. Despite being back in operation, its worth noting that ARS promotes the Carrier brand, which has been problematic for us. Our 19 SEER 2-stage units have been the most disappointing purchase for our home. We encountered issues from the start, and they persist to this day. Fortunately, the technician contacted his District Manager, saving us at least $300 for the repair due to the numerous service calls within a year. We would greatly appreciate it if ARS could assist us in replacing these faulty units so we can finally live life without worrying if the weather gets to cold or hot and the systems shutting down.

I want to speak regarding my experience with the service. I mainly support local business but wanted to give this place a try. We had a clog towards the back portion of my home causing backups. My extremely experienced MASTER plumber Charles came, diagnosed the problem, confirmed the problem and fixed the issue within an hour! He was informed and you can tell by his speech, he had confidence in every word he said. That reassured me and with the breakdown and camera views I was a part of the process. Jacob, the technician that came out to correct my issue, was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything he needed to and what his plans to fix my sink drainage issue. Overall it took about an hour from arrival until he was leaving with my pipes cleared.
ARS is always dependable and responsive. My AC needed a part at 7pm one day, and they had it delivered and installed by 4pm the next day. The technicians were polite and friendly as they completed their work. I cannot say enough about this company.
Dispatch is HORRIBLY unorganized. I was scheduled for yesterday, rushed home in time for the window they gave me (4-6) and at 4:30 they cancelled on me and moved me to today. Now today my window starts at 11:00. I call at 12 to get a more accurate window now that its same-day. They cant even find me in the system. 5 calls bouncing around later someone realized they had my address wrong which is why they couldnt find me.They quote me an hour from then someone would arrive. Its now been 2 hours since that quoted time and I was just told it would still be another hour. I couldve used these three hours they messed with my timing to run errands but instead Ive been sitting here waiting on them. Inconsiderate and unprofessional.

One of my split ACs was leaking, so they came to fix it. The involved technicians first comment was outside unit being dirty. However, it was maintained a couple months ago by one of their guys. So, their quality of service depends on who is showing up at your house. Be warned.Edited: 5 days out, and the AC is leaking again after paying more than $800 for the last technicians repair. I called their office to schedule a revisit and changed their rating from 3 to 2 star. Will update this rating later.

He explained what he did and why showing me dirty water then how it was flushed to clean. It was a process and he checked connections for any wear. I appreciated the expertise and the politeness. I used ARS for both installing a water heater and plumbing inspection. The service was outstanding, with no issues. The installers, salesman and the inspectors are truly professional, prompt in responding, keeping the scheduled time and completing the task at hand. ARS technicians are very professional and knowledgeable. They give you different options to solve your problems and go above and beyond ti solve your problem. Getting a next day appt anywhere is uncommon now days unless its an emergency and get charged for one. I called Monday night and got an appointment for Tuesday at my time requested. Very happy with then will continue to use them.
I had a coil leaking refrigerant and they came out and diagnosed it during a holiday weekend then told me it would be two days to get it fixed. the installers destroyed my tile flooring getting the new unit in. They also routed the drain incorrectly so that it was pouring water under my house. I had them come back out to fix that. I am very unimpressed with the install. they tore up the tile in the utility room and never returned phone calls to my wife to discuss the problems. it was 6k to replace the air handler. when I got the invoice they charged me for 5 air handlers at 27,000$. I will never do business with them again.Update:attempted to give them one more chance to put a soft start on my AC compressor. not only did they ignore my request for a micro air soft start kit. they installed the absolute opposite of what I asked for a 5-2-1 hard start kit on a compressor that is only 4 years old. if you need HVAC stuff reach out to a local small shop or a reputable AC company. ARS dropped the ball again.

The plumber was somewhat nice. Listen, but not out of concern or wanting to assist but more to tell me everything I was doing wrong. When I asked to know how the tuneup for my water heater went since that was the initial reason for his visit, his response was, “well, it’s old and you didn’t service it so…”, which to me is unprofessional and passive aggressive. So I politely wished him a good day and escorted him out.

I am 61 years of age and have run across a lot of plumbers in my lifetime. Never have I been treated more courteous or professionally than today with Jacob. He did nothing but an absolute superb job, fixed everything that needed to be fixed, and thoroughly double checked his work before we said our goodbyes. I am forever grateful. Mike Watson did a fantastic job of performing our spring tune-up on two HVAC systems at our home. He was thorough and helpful, explaining every step of the process as I tagged along with him. I would not recommend this company. I called for a repair and diagnostic for $99. The tech arrived and told me it was my capacitor that went out. It would be $300 to replace. It is a 5 min job and I thought that was too much so I told the tech thanks for the diagnostic and I would replace it myself. The tech told me I would not be able to buy the part myself that I needed to get it done with an AC company. So he made me believe I could not do the repair myself. As he is getting the paper work ready after he finished, I googled what he told me and found the part for $15 dollar. So I paid $399 for a $15 part and a 10 minute repair. This to me was a con job because he was very dishonest to me about me being able to get the part from a supply store. Then when I asked if the service is waved because Im getting the repair, he told me they dont never wave that fee. Would like to open a BBB claim.

Plumber Charlie was extremely professional, courteous and thorough. It was very apparent he knew what he was doing as what we thought was a simple kitchen drain clean out evolved into a much more complex problem. Living in a 40 yr old condo with lines tapped into each other and issues under the foundation we should have realized it wouldn’t be simple. Seeing his Master Plumber card confirmed he was knowledgeable. (He only produced that at the very end when we were complimenting him on his work)
Even though it was pricey, after I called and told ARS that I had a broken pipe they were at my house within two hours. the technician Tyler was out there in 20 degree Temps repairing a broken pipe and insulating it afterwords. He did a good job and im glad I have a membership through them for these kinds of situations.

This has been the worst nightmare of my life! I am now going into my third weekend of no hot water! I am having to carry a pot of boiling water into the shower to bathe. This is a Rheem Gladiator 50 gallon electric water heater that I bought in February of 2023 from Home Depot. On March 23 (this year) it tripped the breakers and stopped working. ARS came out on the 25th and diagnosed the problem, charging me $500 for labor, the rest was under warranty. They worked with Rheem to order the part but did not request expedited shipping. Last weekend FedEx kept claiming they had a problem with my address (but I get lots of FedEx shipments) and the part didn’t arrive until April 3. The ARS technician came out today, April 5 and installed the part and said it was working and left. Shortly later, the breakers tripped again and there is no water at all coming out of the hot water faucet. I called ARS back and they scheduled the technician to come back tonight, only to call and cancel, saying that he needed to talk to Rheem and they were closed. I feel so frustrated and powerless to get this situation resolved! No one seems to take responsibility. My only option at this point is to trash this 13 month old upgraded water heater and buy a new one, which I certainly can’t afford (I am 70 and my husband of 52 years passed away four months ago). I feel like I am being abused, with no one to advocate for me. Everyone involved with this situation has failed miserably.

Service guy came out and charged me $300 to replace the cap. I told him that the fan is locking up and he even mentioned that the current was very high. He did not stick around to see if the house got any cooler but did schedule an estimator to come out the next day to quote me $13K for a new system. I called All Star and the service guy replaced the fan for $952 and my AC is running perfectly in an hour.10/19/23 - Edit after response from owner.My wife started contacting them daily to get a refund for their service since it did not resolve the issue. We were consistently told that someone would get back to us. It took 3+ weeks before someone finally called us to handle it...but by that time we had canceled payment through the cc provider. These issues need to be addressed when the customer calls rather than whenever management gets around to it. So I am lowering them to 1-star.

Tyler was the absolute by far hands down the worst plumber I have ever met. Before he even arrived he called 3 times to make sure he really needed to drive alllllll the way out here. Conroe to Plantersville. Attitude was extremely poor. He looks at the leak and says I guess let me go to the truck and see if I have the stuff to fix it. Comes back in on the phone hangs up says that was my manager you signed a waiver about the pvc. I said arent you going to at least take it apart? He said no its broken pvc. Mind you I called about the water heater leaking from the connector at the wall that THEY INSTALLED LAST MAY. I told him to leave and I will take care of this tomorrow. Meaning Im calling the office tomorrow. Well its not tomorrow yet. I decided to take the connector apart since Tyler didnt want to. Guess what it was the rubber gasket that they installed along with the water heater May 2023! I fixed it myself. I dont recommend this company at all. The price I paid for everything a year ago Id think the service would have been top notch. Nope not at all bottom of the barrel.

When the technicians arrived, he was proficient and knowledgeable and did a professional job. I was very pleased with the cost. The only negative part was that the repairs was scheduled for Monday and I waited nearly all day before I received a call. They would be there on Tuesday between 8 and noon. The man showed up at my home at 12:05PM.
Finding quality service is really difficult. Im happy to report that ARS Conroe takes the time to thoroughly explain their work and is consistently on time, courteous, and competent when servicing my property.
If I could give this company zero stars, I would. We called ARS for a service in early June of 2023 (a simple clogged line in a bathroom sink). My husband had already removed the P-trap, we just didnt own a snake long enough to reach the clog. The tech came out and COMPLETELY misdiagnosed the problem (which required a much more expensive and extensive service to resolve) and argued that there was no clog, but also refused to run a snake down the line to check before performing the more expensive procedure. He required that we pay up-front for services. Once he was finished with the more expensive service, he comes to us before leaving and says you were right, turns out it was just a clogged line. He left trash in one of the service areas as well as a bucket of dirty water in our living area. He also did not issue the first responder or the senior citizen discounts that we had been promised.It took me weeks for the company to agree to give us even a PARTIAL REFUND (which honestly was a joke for the price we paid for an unnecessary service). It has now been 1 month since the service and we STILL have not received the refund. I have now called 4 times to get in touch with customer service or accounting to check on the status of our refund and I have not once received a call back. The one time I initially spoke with customer service to discuss our issue their response was Well, that technician is new, he just started with us. No responsibility taken for his mistakes.Their site says If youre dissatisfied for any reason, well make every effort to meet your expectations. Its that simple. That is a lie, from my experience. I understand people make mistakes and I try to give a company every opportunity to make a problem right, as I have in this situation. Hopefully this gets resolved soon, but we will never be hiring them again.
Water heater started leaking so the wifey and I started looking for a replacement. We found ARS Rescue Rooter via #thehomedepot. ARS called us within the hour and had someone over that same day. He gave us our options, Tankless vs basic. If been wanting a tankless for a few reasons, 1: limitless heated water, 2: upgrade home to a better for efficient sys., 3: end of year tax break, 4: IAW Zillow article, homes with tankless water heaters tend to sell quicker. Overall, the guys did a great job. Everyone was professional. The replacement took 3 hours. Awesome highly recommend...

Mr. Justin Hines was my service technician for my Rheem HVAC system. He was very knowledgeable of my equipment and the industry standards and professional. He informed me about the surge protector to help protect my unit and the air scrubber which I feel I needed after reviewing the information. He performed maintenance and cleaned the overflow drain pipe. I feel that the performance level of my unit has been increased and I appreciate Mr. Justin.

Ordered a hot water heater from Home Depot they had ARS install it. The hot water heater was all dented and beat up. They drilled holes all over in my wall and left it. It is not installed to code and actually has the hoses sitting on my main breaker. I have called several times for them to come out and take care of it. They make an appointment and did not show or call twice. I then asked for my 100% mo ey back guarantee and all I get is crickets. I am trying to work now it home depot to get my money back. $3100

Very positive experience. Tech was on time and very knowledgeable. Dealing with 30+ days of 100F+. He cleaned the condenser and checked everything out. AC went from running almost constantly to now cycling on and off…in 107F temperatures. Highly recommended!

I purchased a water heater from Lowes. It cost $540. Dollars. ARS Rescue charged me$1600. Dollars to install it. 3times the cost of the water heater. I bet Im not the only person they have ripped off. If this has happened to you please let me know . Now everyone says didnt you read the contract. No I didnt because ARS never gave a copy of the contract. No one is on my side. Not even Lowes so I am sending my card back to them and using my Home Depot card from now on. Kenneth the repair man was nice and professional. However, he took my filter out and I expected him to put another filter in since he took the other one out. I am disabled and can’t get that high to change the filter. Now I have no filter. Also, the second rep that came to talk about financing, the minute I mentioned bankruptcy he was outta there like a hot potato. I’m highly offended. I’m sorry my husband can no longer walk so he can’t work. I’m also sorry that I had a heart attack and broke my neck and had to file bankruptcy because I was in the hospital for 3 months!

Had used them for A/C & recently new water heater but then I also needed a simple faucet put in. Big mistake to call ARS. They were going to charge an Enormous Amount of money!!! Forget about returning customer discount! Which now makes me suspect I probably paid way too much for the other purchases as well. I’m really sad.

Two different technicians have been out to service the furnace part of the system and still have problems with the furnace running continuously if weather is cold. Last technician checked vent temperature and said is doing fine. May be working fine if outside temp is 65 degrees but not if its 35 or below outside temp. ARS service technicians dont seem to want to make it right.

My water heater went out unexpectedly. ARS Rescue Rooter came out quickly to replace it. Jon F. was very professional and well-mannered. The job was done quickly and correctly.
Michael listened to my concerns/facts and addressed each one. Fortunately my issue was due to all the recent power surges and I needed to let my units cool down before restarting.Luckily, I have the annual maintenance agreement, so the service call was free.
I am updating and re-writing this review from 1 to 3 stars because they did eventually get a good plumber out to fix the problem. In short, they sold us and installed a water heater, with a warranty. When it stopped working after a couple of years, the person they sent out said we needed $8000 of new gas lines to make it work again. He also wanted to charge $800 for some basic troubleshooting, which he did not want to do. It was a scam.I did a bit of troubleshooting with a second plumber, and quickly found that the culprit was a broken warranty-covered part in the water hater. The gas lines were fine. I was quite upset and called back ARS to complain, because fixing this was still on them.Their Customer service escalation process added an extra day of delay to getting someone back out to fix it. When I did get a call back, they scheduled someone to come out the next day. There were multiple delays (ordering parts, more unexpected broken parts) before we finally got our hot water again. Total time from us first calling ARS to actually restoring our hot water: 11 miserable days.The 2nd tech (a senior plumber) was excellent and fixed the problem without the BS, and I thank him. Because they eventually fixed the problem and honored their warranty, I wont be filing a complaint with the state board. But it is very unfortunate that we had to go through a dishonest salesperson (more like scammer) pretending to be a technician/plumber, and complaining and posting negative reviews, before any real work was done. I would not go back to this company for any new work.
The two employees were very professional. They answered all our questions. Overcame numerous obstacles. And cleaned up after the job was completed. You should never loose these two. They should both get raises.

Jon F was respectful, knowledgeable, and thorough in his service at our home. He worked quickly and diligently to solve our problem (clogged bathroom sinks). After completing the service, he took the time to show us how things were improved and also kindly recommended some things we could do to improve flow in our faucets and prevent future problems.Jon was incredibly kind and helpful; I would very much recommend his services to others.
The brand new tankless hot water heater recently installed by ARS started leaking and quit working. We were told 12-4:00 pm. On Labor Day and we were grateful. David got here around 2:45pm and seemingly found the exchanger leaking. Could NOT repair. Hopefully we will get a full replacement tomorrow. PLEASE ADVISE.
Technician Jonathan Friesen was the best! Very knowledgeable professional and courteous. He was here in a timely manner and went right to work. He wore shoe guards and cleaned up after he was finished. He is an asset to ARS/Rescue Rooter Conroe.
The technician immediately found the problem, a plugged evaporator line. Dirt had built up outside. He cleared the lines, they drained and he shortened them to prevent reoccurrence. The unit then worked. He knew his “stuff”.
Very professional. I appreciate that he took pictures of everything , to show us what needed to be replaced or repaired . We will definitely continue to use ARS for any air conditioning problems.
