Dustin came to do my yearly check on my heater, and he did a fantastic job. He explained everything he was doing and even let me know about promotions and things his company offered. He was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dustin and Colley Refrigeration.

Affordable protection that they back up. Parker has been the best most thorough technician I have ever had. Took his time to address any of my concerns. Hard worker.

I called Colley frantically (after calling several others with no availability) because our heater went out 3 days before Snow Day (Jan 2025). Jessica answered the phone and put my mind at ease and said she would try to expedite the service. Although she did could not promise, they were able to show up the next day. The technicians showed up and got us going within an hour of arrival. We had a warm and toasty snow day and could not be anymore grateful for their wonderful customer service and prompt attention. We have a home warranty package for regular maintenance on our two HVAC units at a very reasonable cost. Our winter maintenance today was well planned, scheduled in advance and our tech, Derek Pope, was on time, worked extremely efficiently, and is professional and knowledgeable. I asked Derek if he knew about Wi-Fi-enabled thermostats so that we can monitor & manage temperatures upstairs without always going upstairs. Although I had researched and priced them, I needed a professional to install one if I ordered it. Derek called the main office, got me a wonderful price for two thermostats that are beautiful and I can control them on the wall or from an app on my phone. He was able to install them on the spot and teach me how to use them. I highly recommend Colley Refrigeration.

We were in need of help with our 5 year old AC. Parker was our tech. He called me before our appointment time saying he could be there earlier (which was awesome!). He quickly found the problem, discussed with husband the options and then completed the task quickly. Parker was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. A pleasure to interact with. Today, 8-28-24, Bobby with Colley Refrigeration came to my house to perform the service prevention for my air conditioner. We always ask for Bobby because of his kindness, professionalism, knowledge and patience with me and my wife. He showed up on time, was dressed professionally, and with a smile. Today he installed a Smart-AC unit which helps us and Colley in preventing expensive repairs. I asked Bobby several questions and like always, he answered me with such respect. I also explained to Bobby that since we had the house built 4 years ago, my front bedroom doesnt cool as well as the rest of the house. Within a few minutes, he found the problem and fixed it.?? Why do we use Colley Refrigeration??Because we trust service technicians like Bobby to take care of us and not take advantage of us.Please let Bobby know how valuable he is to your company.Gary

Update 10-24-24: Colley technician Dustin came out and did my fall maintenance and told me about this wonderful new thing they have called an Air Scrubber. Then Derek came out today and installed it. Both young men are wonderful. Im so excited about the scrubber, which takes allergens out of the air. Derek has one in his van which has improved his allergies wonderfully. Im so happy about the way Colley Refrigeration have improved my life already, and I cant wait to make a video about my experiences with the Air Scrubber, which will surely help my terrible allergies. Colley Refrigeration is the absolute best!The office staff were very sweet and helpful when I called Colley Refrigeration and requested that a technician be sent to my house to advise me about my HVAC unit. Mike Williams came and advised me that my unit (bought in 1984!) needed to be replaced. Mike is a wonderful, personable, knowledgeable tech. He was just delightful. I look very much forward to requesting that he come to my house in the spring and fall every year to service the unit that Colley installed for me. The installing crew were Lalo, Juan, Hector, and Andres, and I have never had a nicer crew of any kind do work in my house. Matt Mayberry was the Project Manager. Matt has been so helpful. He came to my house to check on the job, answer my questions, and give me my paperwork, and then he later answered more questions for me. Matt is very patient and kind. Greg Barton and Dustin came to do the install inspection. They did a great job and took time to answer all of my remaining questions.Im absolutely delighted with Colley Refrigeration. I look forward to many years of association with them. I feel that have found an extension to my family in this group of kind and competent professionals. I would highly recommend Colley Refrigeration to anyone.

My 14 year old Trane was diagnosed and clearly demonstrated by a Colley technician to have an unrepairable condenser leak. They presented four replacement options available for installation the next day due to an unexpected schedule opening. The new condenser, furnace, and air handler was installed promptly and a followup no-cost visit was made a couple of days later to top off the refrigerant level and adjust damper air flows. Colleys project manager and owner worked with me to diagnose an issue that turned out to be an unrelated plumbing problem. I am very pleased with Colleys installation of my new Ruud unit.

Colley Refrigeration was courteous and professional at all times of the installation of our HVAC system. They were prompt and kept us informed at all times. When the installers were finished, they cleaned up all areas and we were informed about the coming procedure of the final inspection. That was finished in a timely manner and we were informed about what services were provided in full. We signed off on the installation with the inspector knowing that the system was fully functional! We are now enjoying our system and know that Colley Refrigeration will be there if any further assistance is needed. If you are looking for a new system for your home or business you need to give them a call. Fast, honest, and professional is what they represent..

Greg is the first honest A/C person that I have ever had work at my house. He operates with character and integrity and works hard to uphold the statement that the Customers comfort is their only business. Greg oversaw Lalos team of duct installers and everyone worked very hard and were friendly, respectful and even quiet. I do not even recognize my attic space. These guys transformed my duct work into an efficient and non-leaking system. I can finally move around in my attic!! I regret only that I did not use Colley first as I hired and paid two other local companies first and they made a complete mess of my leaky duct work. Greg assured me that he would change my perception of A/C companies and his team did just that. In one day, when everyone else took 3 days.

I want to share how appreciative we are for OUTSTANDING customer service/satisfaction/support we have had with Colley Refrigeration. Greg has been our service technician on majority of our service calls and he has been a great listener to helping us fine tune our new ac unit and accommodating the duct work to help rectify the situation. We recently had an issue with our new ac unit that and David Hargrove, owner, also deserves a huge 5 star. Our original AC unit was installed by another company; however, via a recent acquisition Colley Refrigeration took on all the customers. We have had our ac barely 1 1/2 yrs and our ac stopped cooling. Greg communicated to us and David what codes were being sent via the ac unit. David contacted my husband and approximately one week later they installed a new part that should RECTIFY and not cause us any problems. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this is the solution. My husband and I truly appreciate David wanting to keep our business and standing behind the service of our new unit. Companies like this I will continue to do business with and promote to other consumers. It is rarity in todays world that you find companies that will STAND UP for you when a system fails that should not be. KUDDOS TO THIS COMPANY, OWNER, AND SERVICE TECHNICIANS! Colley Refrigeration came out to do their regular service on our A/C unit and found a few issues nothing major thanks to the technician Dustin for catching it on time.

I chose Colley to replace both of my HVAC units. They did a fantastic job. Matt as the project manager, Juan and Hector did the tear out and installation, and Greg made sure it all worked as it was supposed too! I gave them 5 stars!

Greg Barton has come to service my A/C a number of times. He’s extremely professional, no B.S., answers questions honestly and does an awesome job on repairs. For example, my motherboard on my 15 year old A/C went out. Colley searched for a used one, found it, and Greg came back out quickly to repair it. Two trips, the motherboard and repair were extremely reasonable. I first found Colley because it was the only certified installer for a Mitsubishi Mr. Miser unit I wanted to install in my garage storeroom. They were so great with that install I’ve never used anyone since.

Great Job by Colley Refrigeration. Matt, Project Manager, did a great job explaining the options and bidding on two new AC/heating systems for my house. I chose the 3-ton and 4-ton Ruud high efficiency variable speed units. I got an excellent warranty package. They had the units in stock. The following Monday, they installed one unit and the second unit on Tuesday. Great installation crew, they put down tarps in my house to protect my carpet and patio area, they respected my property, showed up exactly when they said they would and completed the work very timely and cleaned up when finished. Greg finished up with the performance test, safety checks, and charging the systems. Greg and Matt kept me informed throughout both days and checked in often to ensure a smooth installation. I have only run the system for two days, but it is so quiet compared to my old system, that I can hardly tell it’s running. If you are looking for a professional installer for state of the art high efficiency HVAC system, I recommend Colley.

After the downfall of our previous AC provider, we decided on this company, because of their reviews, and we were totally correct in deciding Colley.The tech was on time, provided great service, and gave us input on potential problems, and why our current systems may be having issues.It was honestly just a simple thing, that I would have never thought of, but Im glad Colley was here to teach me that!And, I thank the tech for the honest job he did.!!!Im staying with this company!

Greg did a great job checking our cooling and heating system. He was very thorough, checked all the safeties to be sure all was working properly. Thanks to Colley and Kennedy and Greg and all others involved for doing a wonderful job of replacing our HVAC system and the post installation check-up.

Long story very short. Paid a $125 for a very professional, friendly service tech to come out to tell me I have to call a plumber. 2 minutes, $125, no repair. Make sure you ask the right questions on the phone. If they would have simply said on the phone that if the clog is in the pipe I need to call a plumber. Again, the service tech, was amazing. But yes, the “value” was extremely poor.

I have had both my systems installed by Colley Refrigeration and I have been nothing but happy with everything they have done. Very awesome group of people to have on your side.

I called about a concern of on drip pan being too full. I told the dispatcher that it was no big deal, just work us in when they could. The technician (Sistos) was here in just a couple of hours. He worked hard and steady for about 3 hours. We have a second A/C unit in the house that is working fine, but when Sistos fixed the first A/C, he checked and cleaned the second A/C as well. We have had a maintenance contract with Colley for many years, they have never failed to give us good service on a timely basis. Thanks!

Technician, Bobby, was very professional, knowledgeable, on time and took the time to explain and show me what needed to be done. I recently had Colley out to perform my routine service cleaning and inspection. I received a reminder of my appointment on Friday (Appointment was on Monday) and I received an email letting me know the tech was on his way Monday morning. I also received a call from the tech letting me know that he was leaving their shop and was on his way once he arrived he went to work with everything he needed to do. He reported to me on everything he did and found and provided me with peace of mind that my unit was in top shape for the coming hot season. I can not recommend Colley Refrigeration enough. They have gone above and beyond in my opinion. I highly recommend David and his staff of professionals.

Just had Bobby out today (05/31/23) to repair our air conditioner. Bobby was the must professional service guy ever!! Not only did he get the repair done quickly & affordable he took the time to sit with us and explain what he did & what we can do to keep everything running as it should. My A/C unit quit cooling on a Saturday. I called Colley Refrigeration and talked to Bree, she said someone would be out soon. 10 min. later, Greg Harris, a technician showed up. He began testing for the problem and found a bad contactor. He repaired the unit & was very knowledgeable and very respectable. 10/10 Would Highly Recommend!!!

Weve used Colley Refrigeration repeatedly. The same technician has come every time, which I appreciate. Hes thorough but never suggests unnecessary work. Prices are reasonable. The reps with whom you speak by phone are always professional and courteous as well. All-around pleasant experience and I have no plans to seek service from anyone else.

Great job by Parker and Chase in taking the time and care to do an excellent job on the service call and diagnose our issue. Appreciate the clean out of the condensing coils.The owner also came out to our house to more closely investigate our system, free of charge. David spent significant time in the (very hot) attic to investigate a challenging upstairs unit and help solve our problem. He definitely went the extra mile.I would also like to add that my wife is a teacher, and Colley donated several supplies and materials to her classroom. The hard work, diligence, and positive contributions to our community are much appreciated!

Ive used Colley Refrig for several years including installing new AC systems in our beach house. This time scheduled for an annual checkup, purchased their renewal agreement, young tech confirmed that everything was fine, no condensation in the pan, yes, he blew our lines. This is on a hot Friday afternoon. Within an hour, condensation is pouring out of our exterior line onto our deck. (It had been dry before). Left a message for dispatch. Afterhours. Waited for call back on Monday. Nothing. Finally, I called again. They sent a new tech a few hours later. This tech did a thorough job, extracted the moisture in the attic. (The insulation was soaked by now.) Cleared the blockage of condensate and put algicide tabs in the pan. Great performance on the 2nd techs part. Well give CR another shot but it shouldnt take 2 trips on a very hot weekend to resolve a fully functional system.

Nothing ever good about having to get a new HVAC not so much for the great price but for the inconvenience alone. Let me tell y’all the Colley crew led by Lalo was absolutely awesome to deal with. Total replacement less duct work and they were in and out in 5 or so hours. Kennedy was great as Project manager and Greg was very thorough with the system check and explanations to me. Told me how to troubleshoot the system on my phone . I said didn’t need it I would just call Emilye!!Good Christian family-run business very involved in their community. Love us some Colley Refrigeration. Give them a call for all your HVAC business needs both new and repair. I tell you they will take great care of you and your home.

They are professional and very knowledgeable. I renew their yearly service contract each year, and they keep my units running efficiently. My service man is prompt and always takes care of any problem when I call. I consider myself very fortunate to have found Colley Refrigeration.

The tech was very knowledgeable and professional. My only criticism is that he missed the 3 hour window and was late. I called and was told he was covering appointments from a co-worker who called in sick. While this is totally understandable, a phone call letting me know beforehand would have helped me plan my day better.

Colley appointment was very easy to arrange. They provide a reminder in advance and called when they had an opening prior to see if the day before in the evening would better for me. It worked out very smooth. The technician showed up exactly as stated and was very polite and effectively did his task. South Texas is not a real cold area so my heat does not run that often, so having the unit inspected and certified functioning well is important to keeping my family safe!

We’ve used Colley for many years (switching after having issues with the work performed by another HVAC technician) and they have provided great service by professional and friendly staff. Colley refrigeration is very responsive. Kennedy in sales is always quick to pick up his phone and get things coordinated. I had them install a new HVAC system, and even when there were glitches they (Greg Harris) promptly showed up after normal working hours. He was professional and had a great attitude, even after a long day.

I recently purchased a new home. During the home inspection it was reported to me that none of my HVAC system was working. The seller of the home had Colley refrigeration come out and give them a receipt that I still have which stated that everything was working on January 3rd 2023. Because of this, I moved forward with purchasing the house at the agreed upon price.I moved into the home on February 2nd 2023. None of the HVAC was working. No one had been in the house and the HVAC system had not been turned on since Colley refrigeration said everything worked fine. I called them to try and get this resolved and they sent someone out that weekend, either February 4th or 5th. I was told that there was a problem and that they could have it fixed on Monday for $350. It was 50 degrees in my house and I have a one year old child so I reluctantly agreed.Come Monday I call and am informed it will be 7-10 days before they can even receive the part they will need to fix my HVAC system they already inspected and found to be working one month prior. I obviously cannot wait that long and decide I will have to fix the problem myself. I request a refund and am informed while they can refund me for the part they’re still going to charge me $99 for the tech coming out to my house.I say this is unacceptable, Colley’s negligence has already led me to buy a house with a broken HVAC system and now they want more of my money. After some back and forth they agree to send me a refund, the check doesn’t arrive for a bout 6 weeks and when it does it’s short the $99 service fee. I spoke with them Monday 3/27 and again today 3/29 and was finally informed they’ll be keeping my money.So to sum up my experience, I was told by this company my HVAC system was in full working condition before I bought my house, putting my trust in their word caused me to buy a house with a broken HVAC system, they charged me $99 to tell me that after I had already purchased the home and told me f*** myself when I asked for the money back.Know that an inspection report from Colley means nothing, and don’t give them a dollar until services are rendered and you can verify the work is complete. Better yet, don’t call them in the first place.

Technician Parker. He is a super kind and listens to the customers concerns. He had to contact his service manager to come out and bring a a new thermostat since he believed that was the issue. Nick, service manager explained the new thermostat and recommended us try the dual sensor averaging temps. Parker installed a new thermostat and remote sensor since our original thermostat humidity ready was not registering correctly. Hopefully this will fix our ac from running constantly.The only reason I did 4 star instead of 5 is because I called the day before to inquire when tech would be out and she told me they would let me know the morning of. Next morning never received a callback so I called and explained I had not received a time frame or phone call and lady over phone replied “hmmm after 2 pm.” I then said “I appreciated the phone call she said “you’re welcome”Thankful Parker was professional!

As always, Colley is prompt to respond to service requests, polite and skilled in their appointment process, communicative and timely on the appointment date, and sends knowledgeable and polite service techs, in this case Parker.Excellent HVAC contractor!

A/C issued came up on a less than 3 year old unit installed in a new build. Colley sent out their guy and fixed the issue in the same day as the call. They were great on the install and back their product. I would think you would get the same type of service and any issue. Very responsive and professional.

Colley came out to look at my ac. They were very professional and friendly. They called to let me know they were on the way and actually showed up a few minutes before the appointment time. The lady in the office was very nice and they were able to see me the day after I called. I will absolutely use them again.

I recently had an off hours ac issue and called Colley’s on call personnel. They responded immediately and a technician was at my home within 30 minutes. They were very professional and attentive to my needs. I wasn’t at home when my wife called me about the unit not working. The technician that was dispatched, thoroughly explained the issue to my wife and gave her a detailed repair plan. I arrived home as he was preparing to leave and he went thru all the details with me as well. I have had a maintenance contract with Colley for the past 5 years. I am extremely pleased with their service, and the professionalism of their technicians as well as the office personnel.

We called right at closing time. Greg came out immediately to fix our problem. He was so nice and explained everything well.

Edit: After speaking with David, Colley Refrigeration owner, this was made right and the money was refunded. Colley has good folks working for them. I cant speak to the work they perform, but the ownership, customer service representatives and technicians were all pleasant to deal with in my limited experience.Colley Refrigeration will charge you a $99 Service Fee for a simple quote. This is not industry standard as I have already had a handful of HVAC companies come out to my house to quote a new unit. My wife and I were well aware that when we purchased our home in April that we would need a new HVAC system. It is 10+ years old and fails to keep up. I called Colley Tuesday, July 5th. I told them what was going on and requested that they provide quotes for a new system. To Colleys credit, the two guys that showed up were very kind and respectful. After a simple 10-minute inspection of the current system, they presented me with the quote of a new system that I originally requested along with a bill for $99. Had they actually performed any work to fix the system and added a service fee to the bill, I could understand this. However, I knew the system was too old and beyond repair and informed the lady who fielded my original call of this. I called back today, July 6th, to ask if it was normal to receive a bill for a quote of a new system. I was informed that it was not. After a brief hold, they played a game of semantics and refused to make it right.

Colley Refrigeration responded quickly to my broken A/C and planned repair around my schedule. They diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the broken part of the A/C. The repair guy was very thorough and professional. I enjoyed every part of their service.

Colley installed a Mitsubishi Mini-Split heat pump on my workshop nearly five years ago. They are the only people I trust to work on it. I had some refrigerant added a couple of years ago when some landscape workers accidentally nudged the compressor and loosened the fittings. Then just recently I noticed the system wasnt colling properly so I called Colley. They came right out (within a few hours to my amazement) and determined the cil was corroded and causing the leak. Fortunately, the Mitsubishi warranty is 7 years, and Colley handled everything for me. The part was ordered and installed in just a few days, and Im making sawdust in air conditioned comfort once more...and my tools are not going to rust either! I really love the personal attention the Colley Refrigeration gives me. From placing the service call, to the follow-up call to check on my satisfaction, they are professionals all the way!

Called Colley Refrigeration about an intermittent heater issue. Would work sometimes and not work other times. Tech came out same day and found issue and repaired same day. Had to call them out on Sunday, Fathers Day and they were at our house in an hour and a half and then diagnosed and fixed the problem in another hour, including another technician dropping off the part we needed. This was all done while my mother was staying with us because her air conditioner was out for a very similar repair but it took her company 6 days to order parts and get it repaired. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I found Colley through an internet search and am so glad I called! I had an emergency visit for a broken fan and the service tech worked in the pouring (Hurricane Hannah) rain to fix it and get everything working again for me. Its so beneficial to have especially living in Houston where the weather changes so fast. Replaced ductwork and plenum in about 4 hrs at least than 1/2 price of a competitor. Ductwork works as intended. They came out free of charge the following week to balance air between upstairs and downstairs. All in all, did a good job at very competitive price.

This is a FANTASTIC company. They dont try to oversell you and they tell you what you need along with a layman explanation. They installed an AC unit for me and it was a great experience. I just called them at 1:35 p.m. today for a problem with my other unit and the repairs were complete by 3:00 p.m. on the same day! My compressor has been very loud for over a year ,after taking all i can of it being loud i called colley( they installed it) tech came out promptly ( bobby) took the readings, but it is still very loud, im waiting for the decision from management on replacement.

One of our vents stopped blowing air and they had someone out within a couple of hours. We got a phone call from the tech when he was 10 minutes out. He had us up and running in a few minutes. Great, friendly service all round.

They’re always prompt, and do quality service at a fair price. It’s a pretty simple formula when it comes to air conditioning in the south and they seem to have figured it out. I’ve only had to call them a few times in the last several years since they replaced a few major a/c components (Evaporator & condenser) and none of those calls had anything to do with what they replaced. Go ahead and do the yearly inspection plan because in the long run it’ll pay off.

Though nobody wants to be without air conditioning during the hottest summer on record, Bobby, Matthew, installation technicians, and front office staff were responsive, professional, and friendly every step of the process of replacing our old system. Ripped off. I have two friends in San Antonio who said it should be 400.00 max. They charged 586.00 and priced it before they knew how much r410a I would need. At most my units would take 12lbs which is about 65.00, and fixed a small leak ($5 worth of sauder). It was 2 hours labor at over 500.00. Read other reviews but this is the kind of placed that does cheap install and makes money on their service. Check install reviews in 5 years. My unit is only 3 1/2 years old.
