I have used Dugger Bros ever since my home was built 42 years ago. They never fail to please me and go above and beyond expectations. I trust them completely to be fair and honest and reasonable.

We have used Dugger Brothers for a couple of repairs over the past 2 years and have found them to be timely and professional. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

We have been using Dugger Brothers for several year now and they have done an awesome job. We get the yearly maintenance plan and they come out and check our A/C every spring and our heater in the fall. There has been several occasions where they could have sold us new parts or even pushed a new unit but they have been able to keep our unit running great. Certainly recommend these guys.

Always a pleasure working with Dugger Brothers. There were here today for contact maintenance, Christian was prompt and on time, called in advance. He was professional and courteous, super knowledgeable and probably knows more about our house than we do. Highly recommend Dugger!

Dugger brothers is always trustworthy to give advice and help where needed. Our air conditioning went out and they jumped through hoops to make sure we got it fixed… Even gave us an upgrade to help out… love this business… they always do everything they can to help out and make it right

UPDATE-I wrote this initial review 7 years ago and I’m happy to say I’m still a very happy customer!! Dugger Brothers services my system twice a year. The fact that they are willing to drive so far is a testament to the level of service they provide once you are a customer. They could let me know I’m not in their service area and I’d understand. Like clockwork they contact me to schedule by bi annual service. All the technicians are the most friendly and my dogs love them!!After 7 years I still give a 5 star rating!!Initial review in 2016-I am a totally satisfied customer! It was time for a new unit and to be honest I was dreading dealing with any company. I was talking to a coworker who told me about Dugger Bros. From the time the initial technician came to my house, ,to working with the office staff, to the guys that did the installation I was totally satisfied!! I have been telling everyone how professional everyone was and how Dugger Bros took real good care to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Thank you for everything!!

We had two different experiences due to needing someone to come out and see what the problem was and then getting a specific part later. We had Michael for the first visit on Friday and Wade today. Both of them were wonderful and very nice. They both called to let us know their ETA and were able to fit us in quickly. Michael was very efficient in finding the problem and Wade went above and beyond to fix it. I really appreciate when people come into your home and you can tell they not only did a great job but made you feel comfortable while they were there. They also each brought a second with them and they were both very nice as well. The pricing was reasonable and it was less than other companies in the area. Overall, great experience and recommend them!

Dugger Brothers is extremely customer friendly and very helpful. It didnt take long to have someone sent to my house. Once there, a thorough investigation was made to find the problem(s).After the fix, thorough testing was done to ensure all would be fine.Friendly and professional with a job well done!

Dugger Brothers have been our heat and air maintenance go to for the past several years. We have a regular quarterly check up and repairs are done as needed. They are punctual and professional. We have 8 AC units in our home and they keep us up and running when we have issues.

When I find a business that performs the way this one did, I keep them as my GO TO people. These guys are great! I have End Stage COPD and am on oxygen 24/7, and my environment must stay cool and comfortable, or Im in trouble!! A technician was at my door within an hour of my call. My house was cooling down within 20 minutes!!What more could I ask for?Excellent Service!!

I had called 2 other places before these guys and those companies never called back or said they would and never did. When I called Dugger Bros, they answered promptly, professionally, and shockingly was willing to send someone within the same day!! Christian was my tech. He was very friendly, walked me through what he was doing and even taught me a few things! He helped teach me about at home maintenance I can do to help, whereas other companies didn’t want to teach simple maintenance because the wanted to be the ones to come back to do it so they could have returning income to them. Christian was absolutely amazing!!!! Prices were very very reasonable! They cleaned my system, added refrigerant and taught me how to clean it myself. I HIGHLY recommend Dugger Bros and Christian! I just had an 18 year old Trane system removed, that was going out.We hired Dugger Bros Heat and Air to replace it with a Carrier system. These two men worked very hard in this Heat to remove the whole system and install the Carrier, inside and out.They both went above and beyond, cleaning up after their work was done. I cant even tell theyve been here, other than having a much quieter, better working unit. I asked for a call before they came and they did that, for which Im thankful. I have 3 German shepherds i have to put up before anyone pulls in the driveway. I am bad with names, but the install was on August 30th 2023.I will make sure to let others know how much I appreciate Dugger Bros and the men who work for them. These folks have their ducts in a row!! We had the best experience from Rob the estimator to Wades crew. My daughter used them and was so happy with them, she referred them on to us. We had a 4ton 16seer which is obviously what this house needed. It feels so great to hear it softly cycle on and off, 10x less than our old unit. Forget the impersonal, corporate shenanigans; I truly recommend this family owned and operated company!!

Excellent experience! Highly recommend. The woman who scheduled the appointment was very friendly and then the technician who came out was awesome. It ended up being a simple fix but he checked over everything just to make sure and then took the time to relay the information to my husband over the phone. My ac went out on a Saturday night, I immediately bought window units at Walmart which barely made a difference. Seeing as I work 7 days per week I had to schedule time in advance to have my ac fixed. I called Duggar bros because of the praise I’ve heard from everyone about their honest service.They sent Michael out, and he was right on time, and WITHIN TWO MINUTES he had fixed my ac! Just a little over a minute he diagnosed it, replaced the part, and had my house cooling down!! I can’t even make that up! And to top it off he got on the phone with trane and verified that I had the extended warranty on my unit so the parts were covered!!! All I paid was diagnostics and labor which was cheaper than the useless tiny window unit I bought for my bedroom!All the raves I heard were true, this is the best company to use!

Best in town! Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent customer service. I went to all the heating and AC businesses in town trying to find a part and I had the best experience at Dugger Brothers. Plus they were able to get me the part I needed the same day, and they were helpful with the installation process when the part varried from the original. The price for the part was also competitive. I will be using Dugger Brothers for future heating and cooling issues whether it be for parts or services.

This is anreally great company. They came out to give me a quote for a minisplit and helped with a current issue. They also came out and installed a new a/c for my parents. I have been using Dugger AC for about 4 years for maintenance of my unit, recently the 25 year old unit died called Dugger and got the usual polite professional response within 24 hours they installed a new unit at a fair price, there technicians did a quick, clean professional installation. Thank you it is a pleasure dealing with a company like Dugger!

My A/C was going out and they came and inspected the current system, made some suggestions because our home would never get completely cold in the summer and they gave us a good deal on the new system. I have never had my home so comfortable in mid August

With the freeze coming I called all of the surrounding HVAC companies, and not only did they have a technician at my door in 20 minutes- their diagnostic was $50 cheaper than the other quotes. Phillip was quick, accurate, and got my furnace up n running. I know who to call next time!

Had to replace our 15 year old system. Got a very reasonable estimate on a new Carrier Heat Pump and two days later they were there to install the new system. The installation crew was very professional and did a great job. I have used Dugger Brothers for years and will definitely continue to do so.

I purchased a new Carrier unit from Dugger Brothers that required new plenum, return and duct work. The office staff and quoting personnel met me at the house on time and were very professional. The Technicians showed up on time, installed the unit and performed the installation on time. They were neat, picked up the dirt and trash as the went. Trained us on the new thermostat (WiFi enabled). The quote was very reasonable and they extended the warranty when I signed an agreement for them to perform the yearly checks! My AC quit and Dugger came out the same day I called. They got the new motor and had it installed the next day. Very happy with their service.

If I was to key in A/C repair on my fancy phone, wink wink, I would get a long list of companies. Now having said that, the hard part would be choosing one of them. We as consumers have a tough time trusting most companies when it comes to expensive repairs. The number one question on our minds is, are they telling me the truth? I used Dugger Brothers for the first time last year. I called them that afternoon, first thing the next morning I had a technician knocking on my door. He did his inspection, of the unit,turns out I was low on Freon. He explained how low I was by showing me on his gauges.The technician made sure before he left all was running smooth and cooling just fine. Honestly I didnt use it much during the summer months since Im a wimp when it comes to cold. I started to use it again this year during our first few days of hot weather, turns out it wasnt cooling at all. I called them to explain my situation and they were very kind in sending out a technician right away at no cost, for a leak inspection. I had called another company prior to calling them first. The first company wanted to charge me $1000 just to check for a leak, plus repairs. Dugger Brothers did it for free since they worked on it last. Once we determined where the leak was and what my choices were, I decided to go with a new unit, which I got, at an amazing price installed with a 10 year warranty . I had it installed by the next day. The 3 technicians that were sent in the 2 days that it took to have it all finalized each one was very polite and very professional. I highly recommend them to any future costumer. They stand behind their work.

I LOVE my new AC system from Dugger Brothers!!! If you are needing any sort of HVAC service or replacement, this is absolutely the best and most trustworthy company to do business with. I recently replaced both of my AC units and was absolutely impressed at the price and professionalism of Dugger Brothers.My old system was having to be repaired each year and I was spending big $$$ on expensive electric bills each month because I had an old, inefficient system. The new system is much more efficient and my bills are less than 1/2 of what they used to be. And it is soooo much more comfortable and nice in the house.The team of guys from Dugger arrived first thing in the morning and had both units replaced and blowing ice cold air by the afternoon. Very professional, fast, and cleaned up all the mess. Wish I could give these guys more stars. Absolutely the best and theyve done systems for 2 of my very good friends as well.

These guys are awesome. I called and they were at our location within the hour. They were able to pinpoint our problem within 15 minutes and had our system working again within that time frame. There fee was very affordable and made sure I understood what caused the issue and how they fixed it so that it would not be reoccurring. Its worth giving them a try, we are glad we did at Urgent Care TX.

We called Dugger Bros when we couldnt get in touch with our usual HVAC company. I explained to the receptionist what our problem was as wed already had the other company out to recharge the refrigerant and knew our system likely had a leak. They gave us a 4 hour window for the same day and told us that Kyle would be coming out to take a look. Thats where our positive experience with Dugger Bros ended. Instead, another gentleman named Brian showed up and basically told us what we already knew and that he wasnt able to do any repairs as he WASNT a service tech (???). Why they wouldnt send someone who could actually work on our system, I dont know. His inspection consisted of checking the most basic things like blower fan and filter (which wed already checked) and his diagnosis was a leak that would require an ENTIRELY new system, which he was eager to sell us and would have set us back several thousand dollars. He didnt even have the equipment to detect the leak, so the cost of the service call (which didnt help us in any way) seemed exorbitant, especially without a veterans discount like many other companies offer. We appreciated the relatively quick response time and polite service, unfortunately it resolved nothing and left us sweating in the middle of a Texas summer heatwave. In the end, our usual HVAC company was able to fix the issue for a very small fraction of the cost of a new system.

I needed a complete HVAC system replacement so I got several quotes before ultimately going with Dugger Brothers. The entire process from the office staff setting up the initial proposal appointment to the installation was handled in a timely and professional manner. The salesperson that provided the quote was very knowledgeable and also respectful to our home by agreeing to put shoe protectors on when asked. The installers were also prompt and courteous. I have a closet unit and noticed that with the existing threshold the Aprilaire filter couldnt be removed without bending and possibly damaging the filter. I discussed this problem with the technicians and we came up with a solution that would allow easy access and removal of the filter. I felt they were willing to do whatever they needed to make us satisfied customers. They did a great job and were very pleased with our new Carrier unit.

I called them around 8am Sunday because my ac was not cooling. Chris was here within an hour (he already had one call scheduled before me). Very prompt. Courteous service. Issue resolved extremely quickly. Definitely recommend this business.

I have to say that out of about 6 companies to give us an estimate for a new HVAC, Camillo came out and measured, was professional, was very knowledgable....and didnt try to up sell us to a system that we do not need for the size of our home. They also had by far the best prices by a lot. We still havent bought a new system, Brooke in the office was outstanding and got the warranty coverage. She was so patient. It was hard to wait in the heat, but Kyle found the fan out and was really professional. Colt and Wade put the new fan in and hung a vent that shouldve been hung up by the builder. After finally getting the part from Goodman (NEVER BUY that brand), they got us up and running and it covered. I cannot say enough after being ripped off by several other companies so much so that we nearly dont trust anyone in heating and air....but I must say that Dugger Brothers Heating in Air has the most honest guys, the most honest owner, the best office staff, the best prices and they wont sell you what you dont need to make a buck. Thank you Dugger Brothers! When the time comes we will hire them again, every time.

We used Dugger Bros. for the first time after having another company for several years... DB gave us a bid for repairs that was half the cost of our normal company. Stephanie Simmons was very helpful in the process. Will absolutley use them again and again. Great company, A+++!!!!

I am an HVAC/R contractor in Fulton, Missouri with a sister living in Glen Rose, Tx. She had a few problems with her heat pump and I walked her through checking the system out after she had replaced the thermostat (of course) and a couple other things. After having her check a few things, I told her that she must have a refrigerant issue and had a pressure switch out (possibly). She called Dugger Brothers, who she has a service agreement with (which I had told her to purchase as was VERY fair priced with great perks). They came out in a very timely manner and quickly diagnosed the problem, which was indeed a pressure problem, there was a wire which had shorted to a refrigerant line and blew a hole in it. The tech priced the repair, which also was very fair, even though it was a fairly intensive job, and was very professional.I realize that as a contractor, you dont always hear the best things, and as a consumer you dont always know what you are dealing with when it comes to a company, This is a company that I have NO affiliation with, and only know from the work they have done for my sister, but I can honestly say that they seem to be a very professional, upfront and honest company that is worth having take care of your home. Call them and give them a shot, I dont believe you will be disappointed.

Woke up this morning without heat downstairs. called Duggers at 7 am and they were here at 815. found the problem and were thru by 9. GREAT service and GREAT technician that fixed the problem. Probably going to cost me a new HVAC since this one is over 22 yrs old. Which was installed by Dugger Bros in 98. Love this company Wayne Wright

We at the Barnards Mill and Art Museum in Glen Rose are completely satisfied with their service. We previously called about a unit that others had told us needed to be replaced to the turn of 6,000.00 plus. Rob came out checked it over and said all we needed was a Thermostat Wire replaced. That saved us over 6,000.00. We have called twice for AC units not working properly this summer. They are out immediately. Professional, honest and above board. We are now putting them on a service contract for our five (5) units. Thanks again for your prompt attention to our Museum.

The repairman arrived in the time frame promised. He assessed the situation and made the necessary repairs quickly and efficiently. Then he took the time to explain what the problem had been and what fix he made. Dugger is now my top of the list Heating/AC company to call when I have a problem.

A new York home A/C and heating unit was installed in our house by Dugger Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning on Feb. 8, 2007. For the first five months our electric bill was higher with the new York unit than with the old unit it replaced. Needless to say we were very disappointed.After quite a few adjustments, the York unit began to perform much more efficiently than the old unit it replaced with an overall annual savings of 10% to 15%. It probably took 8 or 9 months to finally get the York unit tweaked in. In Sept. 2009 the coil in the York unit began leaking and was replaced under warranty by Duggers.I would not recommend the York product, but I would give Dugger brothers another try, because they did, in time, resolve the problem. I believe that the first tech that serviced the York unit was not that familiar with the product. It was after Camillo (sp) adjusted the Freon (gas?) volume that the unit began to perform more efficiently. I would give Dugger Brothers an A for effort. They were always friendly and courteous. And they gave me $20 off on my last filter that I purchased from them, even though this was not a five star review!

Great service! I called about 3 pm on a Friday afternoon before a holiday and they came right out, were here within 30-40 minutes, fixed within probably 30 minutes. Philip was very polite and professional.

I live in Rockwall, TX these days, but have consistently contracted with Dugger Brothers in Cleburne for HVAC service. Weve lived in Cleburne, Garland and Rockwall, and each time have had trouble with some aspect of the original, contractor-grade mess-of-an HVAC system in every house weve purchased.The house we just purchased in Rockwall this past Feb was a 2004 build with two 5-ton, contractor-grade Lennox systems with an upstairs, multi-zone unit and a separate downstairs system. The downstairs system had signs of mold in the supply ducting, which generally means the system is not properly dehumidifying. Additionally, our electricity consumption was upwards of 165 kWh per DAY in the 2017 Summer with these two units going, and temperatures this Summer have not been too high, so I could imagine seeing a 300 kWh day of consumption with outside temps at 105F. Instanity, because at 10 cents a kWh, thats $30/day for residential electricity.So, the downstairs unit blew out--R22 leak in both coils. The home warranty didnt cover much, and I didnt wanna sink bucks into an older R22 system, so opted not to repair it. I called a few Rockwall/Rowlett HVAC places and wasnt impressed with the acuity of the lead technicians or their pushy sales teams. I figured a 3-ton downstairs was going to work well, but no one wanted to meet my request despite the input I provided about mold, cycle times and low solar loading downstairs; and the prices of the companies were all gotcha prices (as in, its Summer, and we know you need an HVAC now, so...we gotcha!).I called Dugger and out comes Rob to assess the situation. We ended up going with two new units - a 4-ton upstairs and a 3-ton downstairs using the 19 SEER Carrier Infinity variable speed compressor (24VNA line) and 80% FUE gas furnace with ECMs. They installed both full systems (furnace, eval coil, condensor/compressor) in a single day and simplified the multi-zone upstairs to just 1 zone, which makes it easier to tune and get right. The system now properly dehumidifies and cools mostly on the lowest stages of operation, which means less electrical power is required to operate the system. Were seeing maybe a 1/2 degree fluctuation across the day, and these new Carrier Infinity systems are virtually silent inside the house and very quiet outside, as well. You can hold a normal conversation standing next to both outside units, and you barely hear anything. Instead of keeping the house at 77F, we can now keep it effortlessly at 72F during the day and 70F at night.But most importantly, our electric bill has been cut by 60% to 80%, and were now seeing 65 kWh per day max...50 kWh on average instead of 165 to 250 kWh. Thats huge. YUGE! And, their full price installed was significantly less than virtually all of the other companies here in Rockwall--and Dugger is 75 miles away!Pros: HVAC operational superiority with the Carrier Infinity variable speed units, quick installation, highly competitive price in the DFW area, good communication with a desire to meet customer needs.Cons: Will get back to you on this one...dont have any even after 30+ years of working with Dugger Brothers. They do what they can to make things right!

Dugger services my home, rental properties and commercial hangar. I am very pleased with their service, punctuality and communication.

They dont know how to solve a simple problem they robed me 75dlls and did not fix the problem saying it was electric problem, so i called a different a/c company and solved the problem next day for 200 dlls.

Dugger Bros. came out to troubleshoot a non-working AC unit. Turns out, due to age and leaks, both AC units needed to be replaced. Within a week, they came out and, in one day, completely replaced both units. Systems are more efficient and new controls easy to program including wifi access. Thank you Dugger Bros.

Use them!!! My mother’s AC went out in the middle of the night. As soon as 8am rolled around, we called them to come and fix it. They finished, paid, and out the door by 10am. They also are SO polite. VERY PLEASED! We will be using them again!

Rob, the technician that came to our home, was knowledgeable and courteous. He answered all our questions and was able to get our air conditioning working. When we are ready for a new system I know who we will call!
