We were experiencing a problem with our furnace. I could hear it coming on, but it wasn’t blowing heat at the registers. After trying the troubleshoot the problem myself I decided to call George Wayne Mechanical who had installed the system. Bobby came out and immediately started troubleshooting the problem and figured out how to fix it. We now have heat for Thanksgiving! The service from George Wayne has always been excellent and I definitely recommend using them to anyone that has an air conditioning or heating situation that they need taken care of.

We had George Wayne Mechanical come out and give us a quote on electric work we needed after 2 companies stood us up. Kolebie and Zanel showed up promptly and were great and friendly! They kept in contact and then when they did the work they kept in contact with me and up to date with all the progress!! Had them come out to install an electrical outlet -- they installed it 3 feet off the ground in the middle of the wall! When I complained, they said they would have to come back and fix it another time. A MONTH later they still had not returned, so I called and asked when they were coming. When they did come back and fix it, I got charged for BOTH visits. The tech lied to his boss about what happened. I discussed with management and owner, they backed their employee. Thats how you get treated after spending thousands of dollars with them over the years. Recommend finding another company with integrity that values their customers. My fault for trusting the owner to do the right thing.

Bobby was a true professional! The fix was a simple one however had other HVAC folks scratching their heads. Bobby found and fixed it. Will definitely be using this company again!

They Installed a whole house Generac backup generator and transfer switch. The crew was professional and knowledgeable, they did a fantastic job at a great price. This was a difficult job it requiored getting into the attic with limited space to move around. I interviewed over five different contractors before I decided to ask them to do it and I am super happy with them. You cant go wrong asking them to do work for you.

George Wayne Mechanical came out to repair some existing lights, add additional lighting and run some electrical outlets for me. They did such a good job I will have them run some wiring in my house. You won’t go wrong using them.

Both Kolebie and Zaniel were quick in finding the problem with our electrical. repairs were just and quick and quality repairs. We were back up and running in minimal down time.

Kolebie and his assistant, sorry I dont remember your name, were on time and very polite. We had several things that needed to be taken care of and they worked steadily moving through the list. There was even one project for which they had to brainstorm together to come up with a solution. Over the years we have had two other electricians look at the situation. Neither could find the answer. Ill never call any other company for electric or HVAC needs!

As our original electrical contractor went out of business several years ago we were encouraged to try George Wayne; As a result we have been very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work of the various Electricians that we have been provided. The most recent was Kolebie Stephens, who was sent to our property to help us understand and correct some deficiencies from a recent inspection. Not only did he help us accomplish what we needed to do but he did it in one day! We also observed how respectful he was in addressing his customer. Needless to say we would recommend George Wayne and particularly Kolebie when you need their help.

Way back in 2018, Seth from George Wayne Mechanical came out to help me with my HVAC unit. I’d just purchased an older home with a “new” AC unit and had been having trouble with the unit freezing over/switching off. Two companies had come out prior to GW, and both did little more than refill the liquids and tell me to keep the air turned up. When the AC went out again in the dead heat of August, I called GW Mechanical and Seth came out. He spent four hours— no joke— in the sweltering attic, running diagnostics on my equipment and taking everything apart until he understood the problem. It turned out that while the outside equipment had been replaced, some of the stuff in the attic was still old as dirt, and the components were not compatible. I was too poor to afford a new unit at the time, so Seth put a “patch” in place that he said would get me through the next year. I did not have a single issue with my cooling system after that. And THREE years later, when I was able to afford it, Seth installed a completely new heating/cooling system for a very reasonable price! I am amazed at how well this system runs. My home is cool in the summer and warm in the winter, and my electric bills have decreased significantly. If you are looking to have work done or a new HVAC system installed, call Seth at George Wayne Mechanical!! This review is almost three years overdue— and the system GW installed is still running great! :)

Colebie came out to help us add an electrical plug that we thought we needed and saved us money by stating the plug we had would work and we just needed a different cover. He is polite, helpful and looks for ways to ensure that the customer gets what they need without overcharging people for what they dont need.

It turns out the technician was the owner, Seth, who was salt-of-the-earth and explained all the worked I needed done in simple terms. Cleburne Regional Airport required some quick response maintenance for our Jet Fuel system. Due to the local fires and areal relief in progress, it was extremely important for us to keep our fuel system up and running. George Wayne Mechanical was very accommodating and friendly, were able to send a tech out within 12 hours, and did a fantastic job restoring power to our fuel pumps. ColebieColebie originally came out a few months ago and found us the most briliant way to run electrical from the far left side of our commercial building to the right side of our building in the most economical way for us to install a sign. When the sign guys came to install our sign, they messed up and Colebie came right out and fixed the problem. He has great customer service and is quick and efficient in his work. My service guy Seth was awesome!! On his first visit he evaluated my A/C let me know i was low on freon filled me up. Kept me in informed of everything he was doing and gave a great price! The second visit my A/C was leaking water everywhere he came in figured out fast. I totally recommend Seth to fix your A/C you wont be disappointed. My A/C is only 2 years old and should not have these problems so soon. He has been great about working with us to fix the bad design and job another A/C company did. It has been a blessing finding this company.

I called GWM on Wednesday morning requesting help with electrical panel. Part of our house had power but the rest was dead. After calling the power company and them sending a crew out. They informed me that the main breaker in our panel was bad. After GWM arrived they quickly reviewed the information the power company had gave me. They determined that the main breaker was not a fault and that we had lost one leg of the electrical supply. I called and got the power company back to our house . They disconnected the power and removed the meter. It was discover that the wire from the power feed on our side of the meter was loose and not making contact as it should.GWM tech discovered that the wire was burnt and needed to be replaced. They didn’t have wire with them so they had to leave to get the wire. After they left the power company informed me that they had to be notified by 1 pm to get the power cut back on today. It was 11.30am at that time. When the tech arrived back to our house at 12.15. I informed them on what the power company had told me. The tech said no problem we will get it done. At 12.50 they called the power company and told them they were ready for power. While waiting for the power company . I talked with them about replacing the ac unit. They told me that there company also did that work also. They went the extra mile and even set us up with a appointment to get a quote to replace our ac until. Unknown to us. When the power company restored the electricity. Our ac unit did not work. They sent a tech out and he determined the compression was bad. He spent a good 1.5 hours giving us quotes for ac units they could proved us. He was very knowledgeable about their Products and made us feel comfortable with the decision we made. In closing I have nothing but high praise for GWM from the office staff to the techs that did the work for us. I am bad with names but I hope GWM will pass along my praises for the work they done.

I needed an independent electrician come in other than my apartment complex electrician come in to let me know if my wiring is installed properly because my dryers motor went out only after using it for one month. He explained to me that the electric is hooked up properly but that the fuse box is outdated and because of that it kept sending electrical currents to my washer instead of tripping the fuse. He was very professional, explained it all to me and also gave me his work cell number incase my husband has any further questions. I would definitely use them again!

Don, our technician , was super knowledgeable and professional. He was prompt, efficient and tidy! He installed a ceiling fan/light fixtures in our kitchen, installed a new ceiling fan in our sunroom, installed a remote control for operating our den lights and ceiling fan independently and all the while had a smile on his face. Install: Outlet box for security light under roof eave, then combine existing security light power to new one. This is my new favorite electrician. Hudson came out to quote the job per hourly rate plus materials and was confident, friendly and honest about the work expectations. When I was ready, I was placed on the schedule (Sharons communication was excellent). Chris came out and did the job. He was fast, knowledgable and friendly. There was a little difficulty routing the new power lines into the wall switch, but with some brainstorming, he managed to complete the job otherwise easily. As a customer, he kept me informed during the project, which I appreciated. I have a list of other projects for them to do and will definitely be calling them again to help. Matt McMurray was the tech - he along with Alex - answered all my questions and ended up doing an additional update to the my existing unit that the installers forgot to do. They had to go under my house and were nice enough to remove the old AC trash that was left by another installer. I would definitely use this company again. Oh, and I live in a Doublewide --- this company was happy to go under the house.

I have been using George Wayne Mechanical for two years, and as usual, they did a great job with the maintenance call for my AC units. Matthew was on time and did a great job while he was at my house.

We called the week of July 4-9 and asked for an appt for someone to come look at my mother in laws house and Colby made an appt with my husband for Friday July 15th for an arrival window of 10am-12pm. He arranged his day to be there with his mother for her appt and those hours passed and nobody showed up and nobody called. My husband called the number that was given in the confirmation text the day before and the lady said oh well he “could” be there by maybe 2. He’s running behind. Again, we called them, they certainly didn’t let us know that. So in the mean time I called and asked for a better or more certain arrival time and the lady who answered said well I would have to call your technician Matt to ask him. I said well please call him then. She took my number, called Matt and he said “maybe” 3-4 pm. So again the time was going to change and nobody had called. I asked the lady of this was the way this company tended to do business. Do you just not show up in your arrival window and don’t give the customer the respect of a phone call? So we canceled the appt and luckily went with a company who came out within the hour. I wouldn’t recommend this place to an enemy.

I have never had such a quick response and exceptional service than Eric did for me today. I will only use George Wayne Mechanical from now on! Im amazed at how fast he had my problem fixed.

When you are in a company truck, it is best not to purposely endanger the lives of others on the road. I dont know who it was, but there were two men and they thought it was funny to try and run into someone driving down the highway. If they needed to be in the lane that I was in, they could have gone right behind me. (There were like 10 car lengths). I do not know they quality of work these people do, but this is a bad reflection on the company and I would make sure never to use them.Re response from owner: when your driver and passenger are laughing at the situation... Better believe it was on purpose. They would have acted more shocked or sorry if it was truly an accident. I stand by my previous review.

George Wayne mechanical has always been very reliable and responsive.HVAC technician Matt is a 5-Star technician who is a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous employee. I known it will be fixed right when he shows up, which is always on-time and prepared.

This is a high quality company with high quality employees. I had them install new AC units and also electrical work and they did an excellent job and couldn’t have been better. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

My ac stopped working. They came out change a fuse and charged me $228.00. It stopped working again the same night. Will never use them again. A total rip off!!!
