I don’t recommend this company. I found the owner in my parking lot today with a large enterprise rental truck making a delivery. When I asked the man what they were doing and asked him to move because he was blocking an entire side of my parking lot. Customers and employees couldn’t get out. He was rude and told me that they do this all the time just before I get here.He was informed that it was a parking lot for customers and employees. The man was RUDE! If he talks/treats customers like he acted here then don’t use him, probably treat you the same!
I have had hit and miss service from this location, but after my last service with the owners own son, I know these gentlemen care for their customers. They have had some turnover of some less than steller employees, and seem to have turned over a new leaf. They have to deal with so much traffic and receive so many calls a day for jobs, it is astounding that they are not plum wore out in this Texas heat. I applaud father and son team Donnie and Josh for their hardwork. Thank you for the care and expertise (and for the beautiful new ac unit) you took, in taking care of my family.
We have fidelity home warranty and Donnie’s was assigned to us. First it was the capacitor then 3 weeks later the unit burned up. It took months to get it replaced and Josh would never give us a day, he would just show up ( my husband and I work). No communication and rude. They also made us pay for a part if we wanted our heater to run because they said fidelity sent the wrong part and wouldn’t send us another one. Not happy at all.
If I could RATE MY EXPERIENCE with 50 stars- I would!! We had to have our 23 yr old AC unit replaced through a home warranty claim, and Donnie’s was the service provider selected/utilized. From the moment the claim was assigned, we were kept in the loop on the status. The call/updates on the ordering of parts (from Angela & Jennifer) to the scheduling of installation were very courteous and informative. The ABOVE & BEYOND personalism and professionalism of both Josh & Francisco during the installation blew me away! I will commend all parents involved with the genuine respect that both of these young men displayed to me— they were taught well!! Josh also took the time and explained every step of the process to me, since my husband was not present, so that I would know what was going on and could inform him if needed. He also offered his number freely if Antonio wanted to talk to him directly or had any questions after he left.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this family owned/operated business to anyone in need of their long list of provided services!We also discussed God, Guns, Old Glory, Family & the Military🇺🇸 My TOP 5 Indeed!Thank you Donnie’s Electric TEAM!! Highly recommend Donnie’s-I received a home warranty when I purchased my older home and they have sent Donnie’s out to correct multiple issues. The office dispatch is very helpful and responsive and the plumbing and AC repairmen have been on time and professional. Great business to work with!
My landlord (Miguel) gave me y’all’s number and when I called I was kind of bummed due to being told it was going to be Monday before anyone could come out. Until about 2 hours later 2 very nice professional gentleman showed up at my house and fixed all the issues we had! They were not rude or loud! The did their job very professionally and informed me of everything that was going on. We had a leak in the laundry room and our gas lines had a leak. Very satisfied!
This father and son team in my opinion is the top choice in plumbing, electric, and hvac. They have fixed all those for us. They are super responsive and will get you fixed as quickly as possible. I couldnt ask for a better business and customer service. Great home town people!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They cant handle the work. Theyre not professional. I have a home warranty through American Home Shield. The ticket was assigned to Donnies Electric Plumbing Heat & Air on July 3. After repeat calls, multiple appointments with no-call-no-show every single time, as of 7/26 still no one has been out to the house to look into these pipe leaks. This is the worst, most unprofessional service Ive ever had from a plumbing or HVAC contractor. This is not how you manage a business. if you are a month out... tell your prospect customer that youre a month out. Dont lie to them, make an appointment you dont show up for and get frustrated when they call you back wondering what the hell keeps happening.
Put in a claim for main sewer line break, through American Home Shield on 6/05/22 and as of 10/01/22 they have still not been back out to my house. 4 months now we have waited for them to just come out with a camera to check the line break. Let alone fix the issue.Meanwhile due to the broken line, I have to go out to my clean-out where the sewage goes out to my septic tank, and auger the drain with a semi-professional auger I had to purchase, to allow our feces to exit the house.. once a week or sometimes less.For 4 months now they have ghosted us. And the damage to my house from the leak is growing.They’ll occasionally act like they’re working diligently to send someone out. Then I have to leave my hourly job to be home for an appointment that they ghost me on. Then continue to call back and get worked up over their incompetence. Words can’t describe how much I hate this company.
They are creative and thorough. I really appreciate their work.
We have American Home Shield. They called Donnies and assigned the job to them. They came out and inspected our electrical situation. Unfortunately, AHS took a ridiculous time to approve the estimate which was denied at first. I had to call AHS many times before they finally approved Donnies estimate. Upon approval Donnies team came out and repaired our electrical lines affected. We were very pleased with Donnies work on our home.
My home warranty company assigned them to fix our well pump. It was an emergency since we had no water! I called them and the lady in the office was so nice! She called her guys and they came out that same day! My husband said the guys who came out were very professional and courteous. They fixed our problem fast and our water pressure is better that ever! My husband has their card and we will definitely call them again if we need anything. Thank you Donnies! You guys are great!
WOW! Called Donnies and Josh came by within 5 minutes of placing the call. Found out we needed freon and Josh promptly filled it up. Super nice guy and a reasonable price. Very impressed!
We had a MAJOR issue with city sewer coming into our home. Donnie has the latest state of the art equipment and was able to snake a digital camera down all of our pipes to show it was the city pipes stopped up, not ours. His folks literally arrived in less than an hour after our call. They were very professional and defensive of us as his client when the city showed up and tried to make excuses. Donnie is a champion for his customers. If you have a problem, he will not only solve it, but will have your back. I highly recommend him.
They came out charged my handicapped sister $450 to fix a plumbing issue 5 days later same tub backed up they charged her another $179 to remove hair they should have 5 days earlier run dont walk away from these predators.
Put a claim in to home warranty today, got a call for appointment and Josh called and said he was in the area. Came out. Bad fan motor on outside unit. Had the parts and we are back in business in less than 2 hours from claim to finish. Josh has been to our home for other issue and he is great.
Took off work because Donnies scheduled to come out and check drain problem I was having.. They scheduled me from Between 1pm-4pm ..4:45pm rolls around, nothing from them. They arent here, the woman answering the phone was EXCEPTIONALLY rude, despite my husbands polite, calm, quiet tone while inquiring. The only thing they would say is The tech has your ticket and he will contact you ABSOLUTELY unacceptable when weve TAKEN OFF WORK AND ARE LOSING HOURLY WAGES AT WORK waiting for an appointment this plumbing company scheduled and couldnt even have the decency to call and let us know they were running late. Reporting to BBB due to non service, lost wages on us and this rude nonsense.
Donnies was sent to us by our home warranty company. We specifically asked them could they handle the job they were called for as we believed it was outside the scoop of their business. We were assured they were prepared and could handle the job. WRONG! In addition they lied and filed with our home warranty company for work they did not do. To make matters worse they never called to say they were not coming back to complete the job they had started and had been paid for. I am currently disputing their claim. Please beeare of this scam business!!!
I have a claim through Home Warranty and Home Owners Insurance. They came out on Mar 18th and still NOTHING from them. I have no bath facilities until this claim moves forward. Very unresponsive to my warranty company and myself. Extremely poor customer service. The technician sent out was fine the office help is what will ruin this buisness.
I definitely agree with the review that says there are more honest people. Several bad experiences with this company and multiple employees, including the owner. They are more concerned about money than the customer and have no interest in hearing your concerns. Rude, dishonest and horrible customer service. They will manipulate a situation to try and get one over on you so be cautious. After speaking with a couple of other plumbing companies in the area, I have found that the reputation of Donnie’s Electric and Plumbing is parallel to my personal experiences with them. There are more professional and customer oriented companies to work with who can and will do a much better job.

Had trouble connecting with appointments but what a fantastic job they did. I would recommend this company to any one needing electical work! Felix and Tammy had me up and running in no time. They found the problem areas and fixed them one task at a time. So very impressed with them!
They were to fix our leak in the shower, assigned by American Home Shield, came out said they would return with parts that was in August, been trying to call since and they won’t even return or answer the phone. I think they have gone out of business. Very slipshod way of doing business. Apparently American Home Shield can’t get ahold of them either. Both companies are just giving us run around to play out our contract. But they will open new if we just pay our part again, like heck no.....buyer beware!

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE.They do not return phone calls. They have ghosted me for 32 days now. They came to my house to give me an estimate for warranty. After 32 days they still have not submitted anything to the warranty company.
Goes above and beyond. Honest about repair and explained the source of the problem. They were busy, but I expected that. They still showed up, got it fixed, and went on to the next call. Ill definitely keep their number in case I ever have a plumbing, HVAC or electric problem down the road.
5 years after using Donnies electric and thousands spent fixing all the things they did wrong we are still paying and finding. Example hooked up copper wiring to aluminum without proper connector, bad connection when hooking up our air conditioner in attic caused fire and fried wires, replaced condenser for air conditioner, put in wrong size causing hard kicks when air conditioner when it came on and off causing hard surges to all our appliances. I could go on, Electric is nothing to play with we could have lost everything we own dont take chances with this company they either do not know what they are doing or worse yet they do so you have to keep paying them to fix either way there are more honest people. I gave them one star because thats the lowest you can give, not because in any way they earned it, please for your own piece of mind find someone else.
Josh was completely awesome! He changed out our outside unit in no time. He also spent time explaining other things we could do to maximize the cooling of our house. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Josh!
I had water leaking from my garage wall by my water heater. Their plumber came out and diagnosed that the water was coming from the shower, which was no where near the leak. For a weak I called them every day and told them that the diagnosis was wrong but they proceeded to work with my home warranty to authorize a test on my shower pan. Finally, after a week of water pouring from my wall I got a different plumber out who found the leak in the wall above the water heater and it was repaired.
My home warranty company American home shield had them listed as a contractor to use use since July the 5th 2022, as of to date which is July the 22nd 2022 I still have not been able to set appointment with these people my whale pump has been out since June the 16th and thats another issue Ive been dealing with with the home warranty people I dont think these people care about getting things done .
I never write reviews but this has to be the worst experience I have ever had with a plumber. Waited almost 4 weeks and job still was never completed. Horrible experience.
