They converted our fireplace to gas a few years ago, and did an awesome job. I recently called them to check out the system before it got cold, and they came out the next day. Very fast response, friendly, and great service!

We originally had a diagnostic service performed by another company. Although some of their info was correct, I feel they definitely would have up charged us for services not needed.. we opted for a second opinion and cool experts was there. Late on a Saturday I might add!! The technician (Anthony) was very professional and attentive, and discovered our issue almost instantly. The cost wasn’t nearly what I was expecting and they also waived the diagnostic fee.. I couldn’t be more happier with the professionalism and honesty of cool experts!! I will highly recommend these people to any of my friends!

Cool Experts just finished repair work on my AC unit and I have nothing but good things to say. The Support/Admin staff I worked with to schedule the job was great, and Cody my technician was amazing! Super professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. He updated me throughout the job and got my system up and running in no time! I was in touch with a few different companies and Cool Experts was the fastest, highest quality, and least expensive - very impressed!

I was recommended cool experts. They were on time all 3 times I had them to the house. The techs were friendly and knowledgable. They did a complete home install: compressor & furnace. They got rid of all the old equipment, and the craftsmanship of the job is great. Furthermore they were open about any recommendations for issues that they ran into when completing the job. Lastly, the quote they provided was lower than I expected and the cost ended up being exactly as planned. Would recommend to anyone needing AC work, and would also use them again in the future.

Worst experience ever. Dont waste your time or money dealing with them. I had an appointment to fix my AC. Gave me one next day between 3 and 7pm. The technician arrived at 7 pm. Suggested to replace capacitor and add a hard start. Finished and said you should start having cool air within 30 minutes. We waited 4 hours and the temp in the house was 84. Could not sleep at night because it was so hot. At 3 am, tried to reach out to them to inform them what happened via online chat. The office manager replied at 6.15am saying they schedule me between 2 and 6pm. I said I should have priority since this is not a new job. I was straight forward with her and noticed that she took it personally. I asked to speak with a manager but surprisingly the office manager herself talked to me. I realized then that this business is unprofessional. Instead of helping, she sent the technician at 6 pm. The technician inform me that the compressor is down and need a new AC. He suggested to send an estimate for a new AC. But based on my my experience with the office manager, I will never ever deal with them. If this business has any chance to survive, they should have a more responsible office manager.

Amazing. Cool Experts recently installed a new HVAC and ducts. The quality was there but smaller rooms in the house (the kids rooms) got way too hot. We called and they came out and fixed the problem for free (took them about 3 hours). Overall, I would give this company 10 stars if I could! Great service as a great price!

Cool Experts were amazing to work with. There is always a receptionist who answers calls and can get you scheduled fast. They do high quality work and really seem to take pride in their craft. They are very honest and don’t try to oversell you. I got a new hvac system and new ducts for a very affordable price. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Had been having some issues with a furnace at home, and decided to reach out to Cody at Cool Experts. Cody had some good work at our business, so I figured I could trust his expertise when it came to the issue at our home. I wasnt wrong! After scheduling a next day appointment, he gave me a 30 minute lead time call, as promised. After giving him some background info to the issue, he was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem. He replaced a bad capacitor with new one he had in his van and we were back to working again within 1/2 hour. The only knock I had is that it would be nice to be able to talk to someone right away, instead of waiting for a return call. Fortunately, this wasnt an emergency and I had the luxury of waiting a few hours for that phone call. In my opinion, that definitely needs to improve. Other than that, from actually getting the work done, I would definitely trust Cool Experts for your AC needs!

These people completely scammed us. I found them on Angies List. I asked for a chimney cleaning and inspection. It was agreed upon at the time of scheduling I requested a cleaning. The inspection was optional for me.The day arrived for what I thought would be a cleaning. I was home alone so I don’t know if I would have received the same treatment if my husband had been home. But after looking at my chimney he sat in his car for the better part of 20 minutes. He came back and had all these expensive recommendations I needed to complete before a cleaning could be done.I laughed at the cost of what he proposed. I honestly thought he was joking. He refused to clean my chimney because I was told my entire system needed to be updated at a minimum but he suggested a completely new fireplace.I called the secretary that I spoke to as did my husband. They informed us this is standard and we were required to pay $125 to get scammed.Don’t use this company. We called Top Hat and they took care of us without any up selling or hassle. I especially do not recommend using Cool Experts if you’re a woman and do not have a male presence with you.

We hired Cool Experts to install a mini split in our shop. I’ve also hired them for our home HVAC and the work has been A+ both times. The team is responsive and takes the time to outline options. They are quick to get you on the schedule and the service is worth every penny. I could not recommend them higher!

This company was recommended through my home warranty program. Three stars are being given because they did arrive within the scheduled time frame, but they were extremely lacking in customer service. Both my husband and I felt they were more concerned with packing up the truck and leaving than providing a detailed explanation of their findings.We decided to completely replace our unit and our goal was to hire a company that would provide quality work with reasonable pricing. The quote presented was the highest of 5 different companies. I cant speak on the quality of work, but I prefer to work with a company that is friendly, competent and willing to answer all concerns/questions.

We had our AC go out on a Sunday evening. Our landlord called his company that he normally uses and they would not come out till the next day. He called Cool Experts and they came out right away and got all the repairs done within a few hours and our AC up and running great. Very friendly and professional. Great customer service. I would definitely recommend this company.

This company took three weeks to tell me that the part they needed to order for me is back ordered. I had to live in my place for a whole month dealing with it being 80 every day inside my place. They did nothing for temporary AC even though I apparently have an extensive warranty. I finally got the call to schedule my appointment and not only is their guy 45 minutes late.. but they failed to tell me this appointment would take 3+ hours.. horrible communication and overall customer service

Last night after dinner, the family (all teenage girls) and I came home to a house with a down HVAC unit, and a wonderful 93 degrees in our living room. After, making a few calls looking for a referral, we called Cody at Cool Experts. I know it was Sunday, and after 6pm, but Cody at Cool Experts made it happen. Cool Experts were able to respond to my house within 1 hour of the call, and upon arriving he was able to diagnose the problem within 30 minutes of him being here. Cody was very hands on and showing me what was wrong with the unit and explaining why. Plus, with less than 2 hours of service, Cody was able restore the unit back to the correct operating level, and help educate myself on simple HVAC signs of wear and tear to the unit. I highly recommend Cody and Cool Experts to anyone seeking AC repair in the Cedar Park/Round Rock area. They are very thorough with the work they complete and have a clean operating work space. Cool Experts really stepped up and delivered excellent work at a competitive price for me. I cannot describe how thankful I am with Cody at Cool Experts, and helping us out on a late Sunday night.Give them a call! YOU WILL thank me later

Within minutes of submitting a repair request from my home warranty company, Cool Experts sent me a text and then called to schedule an appointment. They were at my house within an hour of my request. Professional, courteous, knowledgable... fixed the problem and provided recommendations and information. Highly recommend.

When we came home from vacation a month ago, it was 95 degrees in our house. When we contacted Cody the next day, he was so kind to us. He let us use an Portable AC unit before we even committed to a contract with their company. In July in Texas, having one room that is 78 degrees is a real life saver when the rest of the house is constantly hovering around 90.Once we committed to using Precision Mechanical, our experience was nothing but positive. They fit us in within a few days of us signing our contract (half down, half due at completion of work), which is fast in the busy summer season. Since our old unit was 25 years old and the compressor had gone out, we ended up replacing both our AC and heating units. We told them that we are early risers, and they were at the door at 6:30 on a Friday morning, ready to work. Cody and his team put in a 13 hour day in order to have us set up with AC by bedtime. Im sure that there are plenty of companies that would have come back to complete that work the following Monday rather than lose their Friday night, but Cody stayed until we were up and running and even came over a couple of hours later to ensure that the outside unit was functioning smoothly and correctly.Precision Mechanical has provided us with a beautiful new unit with lovely touch screen thermostats for a very competitive price. We purchased a Gold Standard American Standard unit, which has an excellent manufacturer warranty in addition to a one year full warranty from Precision Mechanical. But most of all, their customer service was just amazing. Its one month later, and we have a unit that is functioning amazingly and able to easily keep up with the soaring temperatures outside.We would definitely recommend Cody and his team to anyone seeking AC repair in the Cedar Park area. They do thorough, excellent work at competitive prices, are knowledgeable and happy to explain things to their customers (including how to apply for and receive energy efficiency rebates), and they go above and beyond what other companies would do in order to make sure that you have your AC/heating problem resolved as quickly and satisfactorily as possible.Give them a call! You will thank us later.

Cool Experts went out of their way to fit me in a second time for a possible A/C leak, and when it wasn’t MY unit that was the problem they went above and beyond to check out the neighbor’s unit and let them know about the issue. They send photos of problems along with an electronic invoice in the day of service and technicians call both when they’re on their way and when they are done. I will definitely keep using their expertise!

Alright, so I am currently editing my review as it deserves to be changed. Through all the nonsense over the past few days, it turns out 98% of it was because of the warranty company and their pushing the blame onto their contractors. I want to sincerely thank Cool experts for doing everything in their power to go out of their way to help us. Where the warranty company failed, Cool Experts stepped in and took excellent care of us. They came out, fixed the problem, and really went above and beyond. We look forward to working with them again in the near future! Thank you guys, and also thank you for handling my frustration with grace!

This company installed an HVAC system for the previous homeowner at my house in 2013 but never called the city for inspection and let the permit expire. Seven years later I as the current owner am unable to apply for additional permits unless this expired permit is closed. All Cool Experts needs to do is completing a form to authorize me to schedule a final inspection on their behalf. I followed up for a week with daily phone calls and the answering centers responds was always Hes really busy but hell get back to you. My current AC maintenance company then reached out offering to take over all responsibilities of this permit moving forward and Cool Experts just needed to fill out a form to release this permit. We have yet heard anything. All of my projects are on hold because of this companys non-responsiveness. I do NOT recommend this company.

My Ac wasnt working it wouldnt turn on from the outside only inside. Tech came out very politely he make sure everything was workmen he fix and pointed the problem and educated me about it. Thankful that the tech was able to get my AC running!!!! And no some of the review here are wrong they do not scam at all. I would use them again if I need to and I will be recommending them to any one in need.

BEWARE: RIP OFF -- OR THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I recently bought a house and it is in a propane community. The propane company cut the gas off to the heater because it was missing the sticker that says it has been converted to propane. I asked this company to check and see if it had been converted. They said no it hadnt and it would cost $650 for the part to convert it....Not only did they nearly rip me off, I spent hours on the phone with the home warranty company because they wouldnt cover the $650 conversion. I couldnt believe the previous owners were using an unsafe heater for many years, so I asked the previous owners if they were using a heater that wasnt converted to propane. They said it was converted already. I looked the part up myself and found the black screw on it indicating it was converted to propane. I called this company back and told them and asked them if they even checked the heater and they said the only way to get the sticker is to reconvert it, even though it has already been converted. They were trying to get me to replace the entire gas valve which costs $650 new. I did my own research and the gas valve doesnt even need to be replaced. You can buy a conversion kit which is a tiny screw that is installed in the gas valve for $8. I called the company who originally converted the heater and got a sticker indicating it was converted from them for free. Cool Experts caused a freaking nightmare for me - wasting hours on the phone with the warranty company and spending 2 nights freezing in my house in the winter. All they had to do was look up the part and find the black screw indicating it had been converted to propane. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

There is nothing worse then waking up miserable from your AC Unit going out. Cool Experts sent out Cody who evaluated the situation and acted swiftly to fix the issue. Professional and explained everything which had occured. My AC Is up and running once again. Would definitely recommend, thank you for coming out and servicing my unit on a Sunday.

Cody was installing a new HVAC system for us in February and there was going to be one night with no heat.Cody went and bought space heaters for each room.I felt we could of survived the night, but he felt better giving us the option of heat.Glad he did, it got cold that night and it was nice to keep the bedrooms warm.

I called to get an estimate for duct cleaning. Was told a tech will arive monday between 3 to 7. I called that day at 4pm to verify that i am on the schedule. was promised between 5 to 7. Tech never arrived, nor did i get a phone call... No Show.

Terry did a great job taking care of AC repair. Great customer service-friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He even called back the next day to verify that we were having no issues.

Was so incredibly pleased with Cool Experts! Juan came and repaired a unit that had never worked well since the house was built 14 years ago. He took his time, explained everything to me, did not just come in, pump it up with refrigerant, demand payment and leave like has happened to me so many times. He spent several hours repairing parts that had been put in wrong before and replaced a thermostat system that did not work. The unit now cools far more efficiently than ever and is now quiet, when before it had an unbearable high pitched sound that I had been told by others was just part of how it worked!?! And to top it off, this was done through my warranty company so I wasnt out thousands of dollars. I respect this company so much for doing hone warranty work and not doing a shortcut bad job like so many others had. Thank you so much Cool Experts! I will always recommend you in the future

Ive had Juan come out on two occasions now, once to my office location and another time to my home. Extremely professional, and he goes above and beyond. It would be nice to have more people out there like Juan, as hes very knowledgeable and gives us valuable feedback and pointers. Out downstairs A/C compressor recently stopped working. Juan came out and quickly diagnosed an issue with the wiring and got the compressor going again. He also made a couple of recommendations to improve efficiency. Very happy with Juan and Cool Experts

Precision mechanical came in after ATX Express completely messed up my A/C instead of fixing it. Amy, in the office, is an incredibly sweet person and tried very hard to get us up and running asap. Juan came out to diagnose and get the parts ordered. He also was very nice and you could tell he was good at his job just by watching him. Cody came today to install the new compressor (that Atx express blew with their horrible work) and again he was amazing. He explained everything while he worked and answered all my questions. He stayed afterwards to make sure everything was working correctly. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone in need. They will be the only ones working on my A/C in the future!!

Long story short. This company told me my A/C stopped working because of a power sure. I contacted PEC to see if that had actually happened and they said, no. I then called Cool Experts to discuss the matter and have left messages....they are avoiding getting back to me.

I normally give praise. This deserves to be heard. Very disappointed.How does a company advertise theyre open 24/7, and not respond within 24 business hours????? My home warranty company sent me this company to fix my a.c. problem. Since 3 PM, 16 September 2017, Ive been with out a working a.c., which I reported right away. I quickly received an automated text from cool experts that Id be contacted within 24 business hours. Also recieved an email.I know Saturdays normally people might not work. However, I got excited to see this company stating theyre always open, 24/7. Not true apparently.Here we are, 11:30 PM, 17 September 2017.....well over 24 hours after the report and not one single phone call back from this supposed 24/7 operating company. They also make you believe theyre open because the phone line just says, all operators are busy, please leave a message and we will return your call. I called three different times on 17 September and left 2 messages. No callback, NO text, NO email, nothing.My 5 year old son has asthma and to make him and my 3 fur babies suffer this heat is very cruel. Thanks to no one contacting us, my son has developed phlegm in his lungs and isnt breathing comfortably. Only when we are not home is he ok. We got back and he started coughing again. Let me guess, not a problem?? In this case it very much is. People with asthma cant have the air they breathe too hot. Irritates the lungs.This is Texas. No one should endure this torture, especially during the blazing hot period of the day. Dont label youre 24/7 if you dont work weekends. Your automated system is a false advertisement also.We even prepaid our service fee. Now lets see what reason Ill be given for not a single means of communication during these apparent non business hours even though it says theyre open 24/7.

How do you give zero stars on Google reviews? Well - all i can say is that these guys are experts at doing sloppy work. Dunno about you but I dont find that cool at all. I am back to my search for an honest hvac company

He did a good job but did not think he should have charged me an extra $100 for hosing off the dirty fan in my yard. I could have done that but should have been included in your service.

Inquired with them about routine maintenance on 4 ac units. They said it would be two weeks before they could come out, so I made appointment. Then day of appointment they said they couldnt come, didnt respond for two days about rescheduling. When they did respond they said it would be 8 days before they could come out.
