Every time I call some local advertised company for service I end up paying for advertising, as well as all the overhead for the company i.e. payroll, truck maintenance and equipment. No thank you. They always want to do work not necessary and charge you an arm and a leg.I called Aloha AC and Heating and Gino came out, diagnosed the problem, corrected it and charged me a reasonable rate. In addition made some recommendations on my duct work that would help air to flow evenly. Which I plan to do. They will be my go to company going forward. This company is what I call professional, reliable, knowledgeable with very fair fees. Gino is the best and I would recommend him anytime.

I love the workmanship, and the passion for the work and knowledge he consumes. Unfortunately, follow-up isnt great. Per them, there is no issue, and what you are telling us does not mean anything. Horrible! I am sure they will respond here telling half story, that per their records this job is finish and there is no issue. But what the office manager is failing to recognize is that I called them back, when tech came, he acknowledged the issue and left stating he will go back and research and we warranty our work if it is related to the same issue. I contact them back in August and I spoke to same office manager, now they are getting angry because I am requesting them to honor their word that they gave and the response is, if our tech misspoke and that is on him and not the company and hang the phone. Very unusual, they are good people, the tech was fantastic

This group sent a tech, stated to American Home Shield Compressor and Condenser need replacement. They spend the entire trip talking about me buying a new AC, vs getting this fixed and replaced. Aloha sends then a Second Tech....and he agrees, says Compressor and Condenser need replacement....but in my experience probably because of Dog Urine. So AHS denies the claim, and Aloha says We can replace the whole unit, call about the AHS Upgrade Program and well do that, for $8,000.This home has Never had a male dog. I hired TWO separate AC companies to come look, and both laughed out loud, both stating almost exactly the same Theres no Dog Urine damage, thats nonsense. If you have AHS, and they sent Aloha, just count on it, they look to be in this game only to Get you to purchase an entire AC. Very frustrating. We actually paid another AHS fee to have another AC company that is AHS come out...and they stated Compressor is working fine. So 2 Aloha say it doesnt work, one says In his experience, its because of dog urine, and then a separate AC AHS group comes out and magically it doesnt need replacement. Now, forget that its hot upstairs, that just doesnt factor.

After suffering though a hot summer last year I decided it was time to upgrade our system and solve our cooking and heating problems once and for all.Aloha did more then just upgrade my system from a 3-1/2 ton to a 4 ton system. They diagnosed and then solved three other core issues by installing an additional air intake, putting adjustment collars on all 14 ducts and changed out vents which were not of the right type.Problem solved. The Aloha crew was just phenomenal in all aspects of the installation (timeliness, courtesy, professionalism, attention to detail, quality and team work).

Today Gina serviced our AC unit . issue was it was not cooling quickly and upstairs is always hot compared to downstairs. he checked our unit cooling temps at blower and checked the Freon level and determined it is running little low. He added Freon needed and asked me to monitor and see if it improves cooling. if no change to call them back . Gino is very knowledgeable and very professional and courteous.

Aloha AC did an AMAZING job! Our thermostat was not working and the company that originally installed everything were coming up with solutions that were way too expensive and technologically outdated. Aloha AC recommended a solution that we were very pleased with. They did the job in a timely manner, for a good price, and performed good quality work. Thanks, Aloha AC and Heating!

As a retired military officer of 22 years, over the course of my career and often leaving my home, I always was concerned about who my wife let into our home and if she was going to be treated fairly and honestly. From my own personal experience, I am happy to write this review about small family owned company who stands behind their team and pride themselves on their quality of work and customer satisfaction! I couldn’t be more pleased than to have had the owner, Matt, take care of my HVAC system and get me up and running again! My HVAC had a gremlin living inside of it. First, the gas valve went bad, then the circuit board followed by the blower motor. Seriously, this thing was a nightmare. Matt and his team were able to quickly source the parts and make the necessary repairs. They even came back to check up on my unit to ensure it was operating smoothly. We had our 83-year-old grandmother staying with us through the holidays from Jersey…. They were concerned about keeping her warm as it was freezing outside. Again, we couldn’t be happier with the results and professionalism from Aloha AC and Heating!

I have a home warranty with American Home Shield and they sent Aloha in response to an A/C not cooling. Aloha determined that my evaporator coil needed to be replaced. AHS was willing to pay for that, but Aloha jacked up the cost with modifications totaling $2185.00 that werent covered by AHS. I tried for a month for someone from Aloha to contact me and explain what the modifications entailed. No one but the uninformed dispatcher wound return my call. She finally stated that the owner would contact me, but he never did.I was finally sent an estimate from Aloha that included $195 for an upgraded drain pan, $295 for auxiliary drain line to code, $450 for Mastic Seal, $295 for Float Switch, and $950 for 10 lbs R410A. Again, Aloha wouldnt return calls to offer an explanation.I contacted a reputable, highly rated and recommended company and found out that none of the modification that Aloha stated needed to be done. In order for anything to be brought up to code, a permit from the city would need to be obtained. The coil was simply pulled and a new one installed. No permit or code upgrades were needed.Upon further investigation, most HVAC contractors charge around $200 per hour for labor, but AHS only pays their contractors a portion of that. Also, the coolant used in my system is R410A, which only costs the contractor around $8 per pound and to fully recharge a home system should only cost about $100 to $320 on average.Aloha is a crooked company and were trying to screw me in order to recover their costs with bogus, so called modifications.Never use them or AHS, for that matter. AHS will not stand behind their customers.

I used AHS to set up an appointment for my AC unit. This interaction resulted in multiple visits to correct ongoing issues. At the time when I wrote my first review, I unfairly attributed these issues to Aloha with the delays and several visitations becoming frustrating as technicians struggled to determine the problem. It was at this time I observed Matt (the owner) personally attach himself to diagnosing and correcting the issues and with the help of his employee-technician Gino, both stayed late into the evening to fix my AC. This dedication and commitment has earned my trust in Aloha to go above and beyond to repair any AC issue that may prop-up. I would like to thank Matt and Gino for their successful work and would wholeheartedly recommend this company for any Air-Conditioning needs...Bravo!!

I would be careful, these people try to upcharge you for things that are not needed. I got 2 separate quotes for about two thirds of the price. I understand everyone needs to make a living but there is no need to be abusive.
